Dear team,

This complaint regarding pick by channel option by dish tv.

While opting pick by channel we need to recharge our existing package before choosing it. So while recharging the base pack the gst amount also deducted.
So later on when choosing the pick by channel option again gst charged for three month subscription.
So why the customer should pay two time gst for which base pack he was not using.
So while subscribing pick by channel, on customer's request cancel the base pack and allow an option to directly choose the channels online and pay for it including the gst.
On request i can also provide call record of previous conversation with your customer care executive. You can go through it for your customer care service quality.

    Dear dish tv, you are having very very less number of tamil channels. Please add more tamil channels to the pack. Tata sky provides nearly 58 -60channels but dish tv has only 30 at max
    Please add sun life, sun action, j movie, svbc tamil, vendhar tv, news18 tamil nadu, polimer news, mega musiq, mk tv, mk music, mknews, raj musix, raj news, vijay super, peppers tv, tune 6, vaanavil.

    I have raised this same concern in may 2017, i was informed that action will be taken and the tamil channels will be increased in may or june 2017, but its been 6 months. No tamil channels have been increased.

    Yes, DishTv is the only DTH service which offers less number tamil channels. Even your ally Videocon D2H is offering more than 60 channels.

      I got my setup box a year back. I recharged it for the first time with a pack of 290 + gst charges. Now i can't recharge my setup box by my own wish and needs. They had made it mandatory to recharge it only by 290/- pack. The setup box doesn't pick connection even in the slightest drizzles. Dishtv doesn't picks up phone and the problem is still persisting.

        I have dish tv connection for a very long time.in september, ton 23-he tv was flashing that my dish tv charging is going to be over in a weeks time by[protected].
        On 23 thursday i paid rs 200 / for which i got sms from scb and alsoa receipt from dish tv.
        The transaction id i got it today after calling the customer care of scb [protected] which was affected on 28-09.
        Since the message was being flashed and i told them i paid and gave details of scb email and also their own receipt. They said they will extend for three day and tv was working till 02-10. Since i did not get any response which they said will revert in24 hours i paid rs 800 /again through hsbc on 02-10 for which igot sms and also receipt from dishtv. Hsbc informed the transaction 001239 and money was paid.
        Iwas in touch thru emails and also thru customer care phone call. They cut off the tv on 02-10 may be late night.
        No proper response coming. This is highly poor service. Since it is a corporate giant they can get away with anything.

        Now iwant this organisation be taught a lesson seek your help.

          I am totally dissatisfied with dish tv connection because its very poor service and harass the people. Dishtv customer care centre harass me from last 3months he has failed to provide me a techician from dish tv care centre and i booked 3 complaints for dishtv customer care regarding signal problems but my complaint has closed without any reason. So i want to close my dish tv connection.

            On[protected] dd national channel was not telecast by dish tv with an excuse of that honorable court ordered that in coming india australia series's match days dd national channel will not be telecast and please recharge for below sports packages. So is it justified that you are denying to telecast national channel even the customer is using your services. If it is correct that which court has ordered the same?

              Dear sir
              Maine aapke yaha 25 tarikh se request ki hai. Mujhe signle not found ki problem thi,
              Me roj har 24 ghante me call karta hun. Mujhe 1 ghante tak hold kiya jata hai. Maine har call reccord kiye hai, aapke superwiser mera call hold karke disconnect karte hai. Hume pura shak hai ki aapaki system commission khake yaha ki kore electronik naam ki comp. Ni ko contract diya hai.
              Jo kabhi time pe service nahi deti. Mai police complaint karne ki tayyari kar raha hun. Aapake call centre se mujhe kabhi javab nahi8 mila. Vo mera call lasat movement pe jake cut karte hai.
              Mujhe mera samay or mera 10 din ka hua time ka nuksan ki badi khed hai.
              Main social media par or kahi jagah par ye sab clips virul karne ja raha hun.

                I got this dish connection 4 months ago and now i am changing my home, the technician when appointed by dishtv said he will not deinstall the dishtv since the area is restricted for cable but they installed it perfectly without any issue and there are 20 dish tv connection at my society.

                Also when told that i myself will deinstall it but come and reinstall to a new place, they said they are not able to install that in that area. Now should i change the room for one connection they are not able to provide service but keep calling for recharge.

                I want my 1500 rs back. Take your dish. Take your wire etc. Charging so much money but worst ever service provided.

                  3 months pay and 1 months free.
                  Means i received 4 months validity.
                  Family pack + hd family. I have recharged on july 2017 so my expired date on november 2017. But accident my hd family add-on delete on 2 oct 2017 then my offer was expired. When add on delete my mistake it was not given any confirmation or message when your offer will expire by deleting add on. When i contacted with support team they are not resolved my request.

                      But they simple call to me and ask like new issue..

                      I have asked several times to answer here.. But no response.

                      Trai also not supporting this about this issue.

                      If i ask the subscription amount dishtv care told no refund. I have dishtv policy about not refund rules. But they are not ready to answer her with link..

                      First don't go and buy dishtv

                      They are fooling people.. After buying connection.. Its happened to me..

                      After complaints here they are keep silent no use here.. Also

                      They even nit check my status asking again to recharged..

                      Below answer from dishtv care.. irresponsible answers there not able give the here. Blaming customer's easily through calls and mails again and again 20 days same story answer's . Target is money ... Please look into this issue. I have attached my account recharged by me before 20 days still not active my truehd connection.

                      relevant information regarding service visit and hardware related charges

                      Moreover, you have refused to pay the charges of hardware along with
                      service visit. Whereas your connection is out of warranty hence you need
                      to pay the charges.

                      Furthermore, you can contact us as below whenever you want to place your
                      request then we would be glad to assist you at that time.

                      Additionally, currently your VC status is deactivated hence you need to
                      recharge it. You can recharge your VC with minimum of Rs. 100/- in which
                      processing fee of Rs. 25/- along with 3 days pay later service will be

If it's a government channel at free of cast, whats the reason behind stopping of telecasting at the time of IND VS AUS live match?.                         I got a flash message on my tv on[protected] that recharge with rs 4490 and get 12 months free but when i recharged i got only 7 months and 22 days. Inspite of complaints to dish tv they are telling there is no such offer from dish tv.
                        Dish tv is only misleading people and making fraud and saying that u should have take a screen shot of that.
                        Just poor service.

                          Hi,
                          I am dish tv customer, i have a complaint against dish tv for not telecasting dd national of ongoing cricket series of india-australia 2017, especially 4th n 5th one day match. Which according to them (Dish tv) that court had taken out telecast rights of cricket series from doordarshan.
                          Dish tv has cheated us and they also shown disrespect & violated of govt. Direction of showing dd national channel during indian cricket matches free on air. This is clear case of forgery & fraud, here i appeal to take stringent action against dish tv that they should never ever in future cheat their consumers.

                          They are charging more than market rate.

                            DD
                            national. Chanal provided us live cricket matches. But now DD is not live
                            the match what is problem. There a massage show By order of court chanel
                            not live for cricket matches. But on other DISH FREE services box avilable
                            for matches. Sir we pay monthly charges & GST also therefor we not seen
                            this type services and who pay only one time they seen. R court order ban
                            only selected DTH providers or all providers. Tell Us . We lose more money by this order these compnys get more benifits now caustomer add a new plan for chanel and DTH company get more benifit. If court order apply on this company. Or other dish free compnys are not under TRAI please clear me . If DISH TV or other paid companys ban this chanel free service provider not ban this.

                              Broadcast of dd national is stopped and the reason written is "dear subscriber, as per the order of the hon'ble court, dd national channel will not be available on match days of the ongoing cricket series".

                              My query to this is
                              1. Which court is it - supreme court, district court...
                              2. Case no or application no in which this statement is given by court.

                              As per my knowledge on feb 2015 supreme court gave decision for cable operators and not for dth customers.

                              So please resolve my issues and start my channel and the match broadcast.

                                    I received a call from dish tv that i can avail hd service starting at 100rs. Per month (25rs. For first month) with base pack as bharat pack.
                                    But now the are rejecting it that it is not possible to use hd pack with bharat pack and added family hd pack without changing base pack.
                                    I have recording of the call, and send the recording to their mail but received no response.

                                        A supreme court bench said the indian cricket team games’ live feed received by prasar bharati from content rights owners was only for the purpose of re-transmission of signals on its own terrestrial and direct-to-home (Dth) networks, and not to cable operators.

                                        It is clearly stated that dth can telecast dd national, but dish tv has stopped its telecast on 28-sep-2017 and an advertisement has been made to subscribe an add on sports pack to watch the live cricket match.
