    A supreme court bench said the indian cricket team games’ live feed received by prasar bharati from content rights owners was only for the purpose of re-transmission of signals on its own terrestrial and direct-to-home (Dth) networks, and not to cable operators.

    It is clearly stated that dth can telecast dd national, but dish tv has stopped its telecast on 28-sep-2017 and an advertisement has been made to subscribe an add on sports pack to watch the live cricket match.

      As per today scenario every dish operator want to earn more money by thousands of way lay they have but now they found new way to marauding more money from there customers. They switch off dd national channel for any sports game due to supreme court order. And give options to activate there sports add-on to watch that games. Which cost approx. 90 per month.
      How cheap they are..
      Shame on you...
      How low you will fall down...

      If you have any bashfulness which you don't could you please tell me under which notice no. Of supreme court you ban this channel.

          Dear sir,
          I am a dish tv customer vc number [protected]. On 18/09/17 while watching suddenly broadcasting stops and after various complaints the issue is not resolved. Even they changed our rs.99 plant into rs.85 + gst (100 rs total) plan on their own behalf without our consent and with that plan they said it is compulsory to take some super sport pack of rs. 42.62 + gst (55 rs approx) and we need to take and use it with rs 155.
          But even on their website there are no such conditions mentioned. Services are being stopped from 18/09/17 and they are forcing us to give extra 200+ 50rs gst for technician visit to them but as an engineering graduate (Ece) i have checked there is no problem on our side, antenna is receiving signals from their nss6 satellite and in proper condition. After a mail complaint they are continuously calling us and forcing us to take that changed plan and compulsory plan with technician charges where their is no need of a technician.
          Please look into the matter,. Hoping a good response from you.

              My vc number [protected].in my package it is said me marathi channel will be shown, but from last september 2016 the channel is not shown, i want refund of that channel, it is said that the issue is under discussion than why it is mentioned in the package, also there is no intimation by any system messaging service, mail service given to my number regarding no broadcasting of this channel. Setup box suddenly stopped working and i was given new setup box by charging rs.415 inculding 18% gst, question is why my old setup box was taken back.. The answer was the same box will be given to repaired and given to other customer.. Also the warrant of replaced setup box will be only 3 months... I m filling the case in court against dishtv with all the proofs and call record done with customer care and the franchise holders... Who is looting people with new tricks.

                I am using services of dish tv for the last 7-8 years now. However offlate the service a quality has gone rather down.
                My set top box stops working every 45 days and on raising complaint i i am told that official with visit my residence and i will need pay for the services of the person visiting
                I think i there is something drastically wrong with the way company is trying to charge it's customers.

                Please let me know how is it my fault if the set top box stops working on regular intervals and why i am i being asked to pay charge for raising concern about poor quality and also getting my set top box in order.

                I am also surely going to raise in appropriate so coal media forums as well the regulatory body

                    Kindly deactivate our old sd accounts and activate only the hd accounts.

                      I have purchased dish tv hd set top box and have subscribed for hd package of over 4000 rupees.. I have paid almost 2000 for the dish tv activation.

                      Dish tv technicians have not properly installed the dish tv antenna and the wiring is also not properly done. The wire is left to dangle around the building right from the terrace to the ground floor.. Causing nuisance to the residents.

                      I have already paid for all the hardware and service charges to the technician. An, they have done a shabby work. I have been calling numerous times over the last month to the customer care/escalation departments etc... I have also spoken to the area service manager... Still no technician is coming to put it in place.

                      The technicians who call are also rude and disconnect calls and then put in wrong comments and close the requests.

                      Since, i have tried all the options and waited for a long time, this has caused a lot of stress to me and the people who stay here as the cable is going throuh thier windows. I ask dish tv to kindly take all your belongings and please refund every penny i have paid.

                      This is totally unacceptable service.

                      Dish tv escalation departments followed up with the service center are manager to sort this issue..but it took lot of time to get it done. but, it was finally followed up and the request was completed only when i filed a online complaint.

                      Prabhakar is handling this case from Dish TV..He conferenced the call with the Service Area manager (Mr.Rajput) he said by 6:30pm, i will have Technicians (Shiv Kumar or Aaakash) will come to my place and fix the wiring issue. I DIDNT RECEIVE ANY CALL.

                      Are service manager also said he will call me...NEVER CALLED BACK. Only, people who are following up on this issue is DISHTV customer care.

                      Yes..Finally after a month the issue is resolved. The issue was with your contracted service center technicians and not your customer care or other departments. Your customer service/care is great. But, the problem was with the technicians and the service area center.

                      Please penalize them -- I think they operate in the name of white light. Its definately a setback for you as Dish Tv. I am really thinking if i want to stay with you or take a cable connection which is far more channels and cheaper.

                        Dishtv provider told like below.

                        I need please clarify, why your are not tell before recharge, your box is out of model, simply told you dvr is deactivated condition need recharge first to activate.

                        Afert recharge my account, i ask to active then only told dvr need to change without proper reason. But i told not able to pay for new one not new one refurnised dvr and please return my money. But again, only you told not refundable only option is get the refurnised dvr. Two days gone but no proper reponse clearly, why my dvr is not able to active same answer repeatedly change the dvr and charges need to pay.

                        I have go through and asked what are the dvr models supported, simply manager replied about software version. Then i clarify not software i need hardware details, he asked few mins to find it. But as a customer i know the dvr model supported by you. But old version which is ch-7900 is supported and my dvr ch-7900s hd is not supported. Which is higher version i asked he told need 24 hrs to discussion about that.. And tell you. And also ask why your not tell about hardware not supported at time of recharge with clearly software and hardware reason.

                        I need derailed clarification about my hard related details when purchased and when it's not supported., Why you given incompatible hardware, other service providers also doing the same to change the DVR within few years. At the time of purchase, how much amount i can paid, for purpose you collected money. My DVR is in good condition without any fault. the load software properly and 301 error displayed your vc is in deactivated mode. But simply told error will show to me need to change. Please exact reason needed in mail not in call. Only detailed mail need to submit to consumer complaints.

                        48 hour gone... Already 5 members called to me pay money for refurbished DVR not new one you know and also old DVR need to return. Why I already paid at starting for Old DVR. Totally.

                        But no proper answer why working DVR is not able to activate.

                        But my DVR is good condition is says 301 error. But my viewing card says deactivated. Software's also loaded properly ...

                        What is the issue.. why I need to change DVR. Any hardware issue means it don't show anything in screen. It will show properly error message card is in deactivated mode.

                        48 hours gone till analysing the from each time of calling ask time analyse... First call itself ask every time but no solutions at next call only money need to refurbished DVR.

                          Dishtv provider told like below.

                          I need please clarify, why your are not tell before recharge, your box is out of model, simply told you dvr is deactivated condition need recharge first to activate.

                          Afert recharge my account, i ask to active then only told dvr need to change without proper reason. But i told not able to pay for new one not new one refurnised dvr and please return my money. But again, only you told not refundable only option is get the refurnised dvr. Two days gone but no proper reponse clearly, why my dvr is not able to active same answer repeatedly change the dvr and charges need to pay.

                          I have go through and asked what are the dvr models supported, simply manager replied about software version. Then i clarify not software i need hardware details, he asked few mins to find it. But as a customer i know the dvr model supported by you. But old version which is ch-7900 is supported and my dvr ch-7900s hd is not supported. Which is higher version i asked he told need 24 hrs to discussion about that.. And tell you. And also ask why your not tell about hardware not supported at time of recharge with clearly software and hardware reason.

The offer of sports shoes was offered with the purchase of the dish, i availed it and paid the shipment cost (Rs. 199/-) through my debit card on[protected]. Have made several calls and have dropped numerous mails but there has been no response from your end till date regarding time of delivery, could i expect a reply now or think about what you advertise through online is a "fraud"? This is my last attempt to get this issue resolved post which i will have no other option but to file an official complaint with consumer court.

Today i have called 9.30 am at your customer care for change my pack after conversation she told me your pack will be change after 15min and she told my what is my new pack switch off date etc.. After 1 hour i shown that no change effect then i have called 2nd time at your customer care the boy told me that no changes have done previously that guy also do not know what is the charges of hd add on pack, he misguided me to take another pack. For this pathetic customer service i have wasted my mobile bill rs 50, by this you can guess how much time i spent to talk with him but not any change effect.

                                  He said that lmv is not available at this time i will change tomorrow morning but he didn't come at next day.                                   Really i am fed-up from dish tv service and i want to disconnect my dish tv connection. With my balance amount and hd set-up box instillation charge.

                                    Star sports select sd 1 & 2 kab se milega sir? What is main reason - not to add these 2 channels? Give us a reason please? We all are repeatedly demanding these from last 6 months, and getting the same reply again & again..
                                    Why should customer face problems against dish vs stars war for a long long time.
                                    We are missing a lot of international sports action due to non availability of these channels.
                                    As a cricket fan - we miss lot of cricket action like - england v south africa 2017 series, england v west indies 2017 series, bangladesh v australia 2017 series;

                                    Tata sky & airtel & big tv already started these channels form the beginning, even local cable operators are running these channels, dish tv are running with a long gap behind.
                                    It seems that dish tv do not have any plan to add these channels.

                                      Please must read before dishtv recharge.

                                      I recharged my dishtv account 015169xxxx for 6 months package and after some days i got dishtv recharge message again.

                                      When i reported this issue with dishtv customer care service, e then they said the dishtv package was auto upgraded that’s why the balance has been detected from your account. Even those i didn’t send any package upgrade request.

                                      When i asked him to return the balance back to my account, then they said that is not possible because billing is done.
                                      And giving me some benefit as mentioned in below mail, not to viral this issue to social media.

                                      Got the following response from dishtv customer care:-

                                      As per our telephonic conversation, all the relevant information regarding
                                      Waiver and billing related issue has been shared with you.

                                      So i recommended do not use the dishtv service and should not recharge your dishtv account for number of months, because this may the new business policy of dishtv to generate the revenue.
                                      Please let me know if anybody planning to file case in consumer court. So that other people shouldn’t face this issue in future.
