My dishtv pack got modified automatically overnight on 27/07/2020 and many channels and packs were removed from the ones which i selected. Every now and then within 5-6 months dishtv keeps changing the packs and removing the essential channels which viewers have subscribed to. On 28/07/2020 morning when i switched on the tv, my favorites list was vanished, so in doubt that channel nos. Might have changed, i checked all channels and found out that many channels got removed. So i checked my existing pack and found that complete pack was removed from the subscription. With many efforts i reached customer care regarding the same, they told that the change has been made by me through application. Even though when i haven't used the application for making any changes. Then when i caught their lie, they started saying that its zone wise and you need to change your alignment to south zone to get those channels (The channels which i am talking about is sony mix, mastii, vtv gujarati, paras gold). I dont understand what south people will do watching vtv gujarati in their zone. Few gujaratis leaving there might subscribe, otherwise they will get viewership mostly in gujarat state for vtv gujarati channel, but this idiotic dishtv people transferred it to south zone and were advicing me to change my zone for one channle. I refused to do so because its their tactics to move customer to different zone and get subscribed to useless channels which user do not want to see or its not useful to them anyways which are in different languages. What they actually did or keep doing is they removed the pack bst hsm news and only kept bst north pack and fta packs which also doesn't consists the fta channels listed above. Even though trai keeps saying that customer is in control of each and every channels they wanted to view, dth operators keep doing changed and removing channels on their own and also not giving the channels pack even though its subscribed.

My channels and packs got modified and many channels got removed which we were watching. This is the second time in a year when packs and channels gets modified automatically in the backend and channels got removed from the pack and also not showing in any of the list. Please see the attached screenshot with marking, may be you will get idea. Even if you want the videos and previous pack details and current pack details and modified pack details, i have everything and i keep eveything documented to raise such issues in future. Because i know such companies doing their own things, which troubles the customers.in case of any more details and proof needed, please feel free to contact me.

First of all, i would like to raise this complaint to trai, ibf and bccc that dth operator like dishtv is removing channels on their own and they do not have any right to do so. They need to provide each and every channel which is broadcasted, customer is the one who decides which channel to subscribe and which to not. Dishtv can't decide which channel customer should watch and which channel they wanted us to watch and subscribe. I would like dishtv to provide all the channels broadcasted by the channel broadcaster in one list and let customers decide the channels they wanted to subscribe. Only one list of fta channels should be there rather than making categories like news, music, regional, dd, etc. Customers are knowledgeable sufficiently to decide the channels on their own. If not resolved, it would make difference for customers like me, my subscription is getting over on 23/10/2020, after that i will close my connection. Because i do not let anyone choose what i wanted to watch. Before dishtv, videocon dth did same kind of thing and we changed them overnight to dishtv. Now i think crows are black everywhere. I will change to operator once again without any hesitation after my subscription if i am not getting every channel on the list. I hope dishtv would not get affected with one customer's loss. Afterall its a big big company with a share price of rs. 7 which will soon go to 0 due to such losses. Dont worry.

      Hi,

      I have been calling DishTV since 22 July to get a new connection, every time I call them, they say your previous booking has been canceled due to technical reasons and I need to re-book. This re-booking thing has been happening since 23 July till today(Monday). They say that it'll be installed by tomorrow at 2:00 P.M. or sometimes by tomorrow but then the next day I receive a message stating that the request has been canceled for the reason that I've never told. Once they even messaged me that I canceled from my side, whereas till date I've never received a call from their side except from their sales team for a new connection(i.e. no call from my service area provider) If they wish not to install they should easily tell the customers, Waste a consumer time 15-20 mins. daily is not a good practice.

      Therefore, I request to get into the issue and solve it whether they want to install or not. If not, then why they've been taking 15-20 mins. of my time every day.

      28 July, 8:48 P.M., received a message stating the installation request is closed because customer cancelled it. I have not received any call since last 3 days and just received this message. This is getting more worse than it could be.

              After recharge channel not showing, 101 unsubscribed channel window are coming, i am trying to be in contact with them. They asked me for some steps to do manually, bt problem has not solved and now they are asking for technician. He will charge me 200/- rs for solving the issues. Why the hell are they they charging other charges for services. I am paying monthly charges, which must cover all the service charges. I am ready to pay, if technician ask to change any part.
              They all are cheaters.

                    I am a dish tv consumer from last june 2019. During warranty period my box damaged for 4 times. Last time dish tv provied me a set top box with a damaged viewing card for which i am unable to watch my tv properly. Every month i pay for recharge but due to dish tv's worthless hardware i can't enjoy that recharge.

                        I have been getting unwanted promotional / marketing call's from DISH TV on my registered mobile number. Now it's too much, it's almost 7 to 10 calls a day. Can't even block the number as it's always different number. If you are frustrating a regular customer with this unnecessary call's I would seriously consider to change my DTH operator. I have attached the screenshot with date and time mentioned of the said complaint. Please look into the matter and stop this call's.

                          My customer id is[protected] and mobile number is *73. I ordered d2h stream set top box last week but nobody contacted me so far and i didn't receive any sms regarding this. Such a worst service. I don't need it anymore. Refund the amount.

                          I asked to change my address and i received mail stating it's done but that's also not updated in my account. Experiencing worst service with d2h on recent days.

                                I m a dish tv customer and that was a black day when i chose dish tv as my dth provider.
                                I m fed up of receiving several irritational calls sometimes 10, 11 times in a day, from dish tv call centre. I have told them several times not to call me or block my no. But they dont listen.
                                I want these calls to stop immidiately. You guys really dont have any knowledge how much you are irritating . my mobile [protected]

                                    There is a very weak signal always going network and when we are calling they say will send a technician which was charging the visiting charges. We can give that amount but we are facing the same problem in every three months. We cant effort every three month ₹300 every 3month although we are paying ₹600 monthly subscription. So please receive my complaint and there customers service executive not responding and giving a proper informtion

                                        I have on my television set and there is showing a massage of recharge by amazon pay and you should credited 100% cashback up to rs.50.
                                        When i saw that massage i was credited my amazon pay account by rs.1000 and recharged dist tv rmn [protected] recharge was successful but cashback was not credited. I was contacted with senior officers of dish tv they told me that cashback will credited after 24 hours.

                                        Now they says that this offer was closed at 30th june 2020

                                        I am requesting that if this offer was closed at 30/06/2020 then why did you showing this advertisement on tv screen and creating new issues for customers when all over world is fighting against covid - 19 emergincy.

                                        Fraud outdated offers showing Advertisement showing by Dish Tv like such as amazon pay 100% cashback up to
                                        Rs.50 and recharge from home with upi card payment and phone pay google pay are very problematic in this Covid 19 Emergency when their income source is stopped.
                                        please dont show fake advertisement to motivate peoples to recharge their accounts.
