Hello Sir/Mam

I am Sajjad Kadri i have booked one Reservation from Mumbai to Delhi but by mistake i have put the wrong date's. Booking Time 04/10/2011 11:54 PM
and then i called up to the Goair airline to cancel the reservation. at 12:09am same night.. But they said there would be a cancellation fee of 750rs
this is not good at-least the airline should give a freezing time to check the reservation weather the ticket is booked correctly or no.. they just go ahead and charge us like any this... I heard about Consumer Complaints Court please help me... here is my reservation PNR: QX8V7I and please do contact me for the same on [protected]

    I have been struggling since December, 2010 to get a refund from goair for the attached itinerary for the sector Chandigarh to Mumbai. I had also mailed you people the scanned copy of my travel itinerary marked for "FULL REFUND" (clearly stated) dated 10 December, 2010. The same I am forwarding once again.
    The reason i have been given is that u have checked in. My question stands, why did the airlines check in the passengers? was it the passengers who checked in themselves? N how can I board a flight when the goair flight on 10 Dec did not even land up in Chandigarh and u expect the flight to depart for Mumbai? To add on, I was there at the airport waiting till around 3:00pm just hoping that i could board the flight.
    I at this moment of time fail to understand the reason for not refunding the amount.

      THIS IS TO BRING TO YOUR NOTICE THAT I WAS FLYING FROM MUMBAI TO BANGALORE BY GO AIR.MY LUGGAGE HAD 4 KG EXCESS.I WAS ASKED TO PAY 400 RUPEES. I TOLD THAT MY HAND BAGGAGE IS ONLY 5 KG AND SHE DID NOT ALLOW ME TO TRANSFER .I PAID THE MONEY BUT SHE TOLD ME THAT NEXT TIME ONWARDS PLEASE FLY ON JET AIRWAYS BECAUSE THEY ALLOW 25 KG.

      THE STAFF /EXECUITIVE WAS KARISHMA DASTOOR ,WHO WAS RUDE ALSO IN HER BEHAVIOUR.

      IS GO AIR AUTHORITIES LISTENING?????????????

        '/goairr nightmare;i travelled by go air on 16 april 11 to goa [ustler] i paid rs 700 for extra weightn gave a 1000 re note it took 20 minto get rs 300 back at cisf security was not allowed to carry few pkts of cheese same hand bag i brought from kuwait the security told the go air guy to put it in the luggage hold but he refusedignored said its late n the luggage already gone n doors closed he asked me if i can go by next fight if its no prob. for me he said he can unload my luggage i said u can unload my luggage but u cannot put a hand bag in it? he said we r late n to go by next flight ;:aranse to which i agreed as i was not in a hurry also Äs i came out at the counter my luggage came out so i was told to go to the ticket counter there they asked me to pay rs 1775 i asked y they said thats the rule we argued if he had told me it would cost rs 1775 extra no man in his senses would have agreed to pay the amount for 3 pks of cheese as a senior citizen n a heart patient i was in bad shape shocked how i was taken for a ride .After puchasing a new ticket i went to put in my luggage the lady asked me rs 1000more for extra weight. after arguing there n going to the counters they agreed not to charge for the weight again the drama does not get over there the porter insists to carry my bag to the security gate him self to which i objected he asked for rs 100 as a favour for not charging for extra weight second time .I ve complained to the go air costomer feedback but get no suitable reply complaned 25 5 11

          My parents traveling from Delhi to Mumbai on the 28th May, both being
          Senior Citizens of India.
          On inquiring at the Goair counter at the Delhi Airport Mr. Ishant
          Mathur who was at the counter said that Goair dose not provide Senior
          Citizen discount, on calling at the call center on [protected] we were
          informed that they are entitled to a Senior Citizen Discount of 10%,
          then why did Mr. Ishant Mathur not inform about the discount.

          At the call center I spoke to Mr. Jai, Who got in touch with Mr.
          Nadeem at the Delhi airport who informed my father Mr. Rajinder Madan
          that they would be provided with a difference amount voucher from
          Goair which they could utilize within a year, which they refused
          later. This was passing wrong information second time over.
          Knowing they are senior citizens this is how they have behaved with my parents.
          this type of behavior is not done, if no action is taken , a legal notice and claim is going to be put against GOair.

            Hi There,

            I had made a cancellation in last june 2010 (5th June,2010) , I got the a voucher number (3WCDF5) which was told to valid till 12 months i.e. " 4th June 2011" but today when i was booking a flight ticket and used it , it shows Voucher has already expired.

            Then thought of calling your held desk.

            First of all the number you have given on the website does not exist ([protected])

            Then some how i found out a contact number of your help line, ([protected]) , I spoke to guy named Raju , which initially told if get any Cancellation Voucher, that will be valid for 12 months then i told him to check why my voucher he told its expired and started telling me that it is 12 months (Raju needs to check his maths) old so you cannot use this voucher any more. Then i explained him its just 11 months over but no o[censored]se and he asked to he cannot help me , so please drop a mail to you guys.

            Awaiting for a quick and very quick response.

              WE HAD REACHED ONLY 15 MIUMTES LATE FOR THE FLIGHT AND WAS TOLD THE COUNTER HAD JUST CLOSED AND WAS NOT ACCORMODATED.

              THE STAFF ON THE COUNTER WAS EXTEMELY RUDE.

              THE SUPERVIOSOR SHARON D'SOUZA DID NOT EVEN GIVE US A LISTENING EAR.

              I am an NRI, while travelling to India i booked in goair on 9th April 2011 on DEL_LKO flight but unfortunetley i change my itinerary and landed into Mumbai so i happen to cancel booked tkt (PNR URMK2T) in GOAIR.

              I was informed thjat there wont be any refund in cash and communicated a Voucher code to use next time thru IVR call. There was no SMS confirming my cancellation or given voucher code as normally PNR is sent thru SMS while booking.

              It is a great cheating going on in goair if someone has to cancel his flt booking. Request those who are in India should take legal recourse against this fraud.

                Dear Sir

                I booked return tickets for my family (5 passengers including me) on the GO AIR Delhi-Jammu flight using their website "www.goair.in". After filling in all the details and processing the payment, I received a faulty ticket that stated the same name for all the 5 passengers. (PNR number:3YJSNJ)

                I clearly remember that I had entered the correct names for all the five members but the technical glitch in the website created this issue. Moreover, I would never write 5 same names for all the passengers.

                Now, when I am contacting the customer care numbers, they insist that the only solution is to cancel and rebook the tickets. I fail to understand the logic as I will have to pay 1500/- per head to cancel the tickets without any fault of mine.

                The staff of the customer service representatives is very unresponsive and the behavior is not at all helpful. I have also written emails to the feedback address but have not received any response after 3 days of calling and mailing.

                This is very depressing and gives me a wrong picture of a so-called customer friendly airline! I hope I can use this forum to invite some response from GO AIR.

                  I booked a ticket for 3 from Delhi to Goa under the PNR number FPM0I0. Due to some reason, a member of our team was unable to travel, so we had to cancel his ticket. I confirmed with the cust care executive that the refund (after deduction of 750 cancellation charges) will be returned to my bank account, and not in the form of any voucher. Today when i cancelled the ticket, they told me that they wil give a voucher and no cash. After that, they tell me the voucher number saying they are unable to mail the voucher details, so how am i supposed to know if they have actualy refunded the money just ...

                    I had to face difficulty and harrasment on account of irresponsible behavior of GoAir Airlines. I had communicated with the Airlines on their feedback site. But instead of listening and addressing to the problem they are preaching their policies. I am enclosing below the communication I have had with the Airlines. It also details the problem and the response of the Airlines.

                    Dear Madam,
                    Thanks for the usual beaten reply and I was naïve enough to have thought there was any benefit of communicating with you. To bring to you your notice I am not claiming any compensation from you as you can not do that with your ‘sort of’ dummy help desk. I just wanted to fulfill the ‘feedback formality’ of this unreliable airline. You are always at liberty to chant customer service, feedback, and bla-bla and quote those policies of your company whenever there is a real need of service and there is a genuine feedback. Once on a Mumbai-Delhi trip, I have seen 100ml or so water bottle being sold in your airline and when a passenger claimed a complimentary bottle, the staff acceded. What to talk of your policies? Were those who had already purchased a bottle were mindless.
                    Still, just for your information, and my satisfaction, I just think how the following things are possible (whatever your policies are, which are lopsided enough, though):
                    1. Only Delhi-Chandigarh GoAir Flight gets cancelled, while other flights, one even from Srinagar, did go as per schedule. Surely it wasn’t the weather problem, or the GoAir staff was fancying that. Again, had it been weather, how you cancel the flight as early as 1-2 days in advance. Can you give tomorrows ‘cancellation’ schedule at this moment.
                    2. Delhi-Chandigarh flight was not available on previous days also.
                    3. I requested to the staff to give me the connecting flight from Delhi to Chandigarh on the next day, i.e,[protected]. They agreed for the same but could not find the flight the next day even. This was also not a weather problem.
                    4. Even if it was a weather problem, they could have easily managed a taxi service for the rest of the journey.
                    5. Besides the weather problem, it could only be your staff going on all out strike, or some technical snag, or any other reason, but that was not evident and it could not happen for 2-3 consecutive days.
                    6. When you take the liberty of booking tickets months in advance, then there is also a responsibility attached with it, to make endeavors to send your passengers to their destinations, which could not be done by canceling the flights two days in advance. At the last moment how could you tell anyone to take your money back or travel only upto Delhi, knowing that at that moment the prices in other airlines would have been high.
                    7. I told the staff that let me fly upto Delhi, and refund the fare from Delhi to Chandigarh. I think this was a valid request. But they refused. Even a Roadways Bus, when it breakdowns in between a trip, send you in other buses, or refund you for the left over journey. I think they are smarter than your ‘Smart Airline’ and their conductors more responsible and authorized than your airport staff. Their policies too seem to be better and controlled.
                    8. Now, I the not so smart passenger, am left with know way out, except to keep mum and feel cheated by your smart airline. Though, I appreciate the business oriented training of your airport staff. Even at that moment of my personla agony and 'being cheated fealing, they were prompt and insensitive enough to offer me their 'smart' scheme. They offered to adjust the balance fare to be used any trip I make in 3-4 months to come. I got terrorized and refused, thinking what other problem may arise at that time, and your policies.
                    9. Still I do have right to know the reason for cancellation.
                    10. I will never recommend anyone to take go-air flight, thanks to their staff and their policies. May be others will listen me on Facebook or Twitter. I have wasted my and your time by mailing to you on your site, where there is nobody to listen.
                    Hope you will forward my concerns to suitable quarters.

                    GO AIR ,ARILINES — CANCELLED THE TICKET

                    I booked the ticket of GO AIR AIRLINES from Delhi to Mumbai I reached on the Airport at 9.00 clock the flight time was 9.35 a.m. and I reached to the check in counter at 9.05 a.m. And I was shocked when the officer of Go Air, told me that I am late and my ticket is cancelled and I can't fly on this flight. I was going to attend an urgent business meeting for Export Orders. I prayed to their cheking counter and also to duty manager. But nobody help me and they replied me it is my fault and I have to buy new ticket. So, I bought new ticket from their Airport counter for Rs. 4650. The time for next flight was at 10.55 a.m. but that flight was delayed 1.05 hour the flight take off at 12.00 p.m. And I was not attend the business meeting in Mumbai due to this incident.

                    I bear the huge loss i.e. cancellation of meeting and payment of Air Tickets due to their restrictions. The surprising matter is the boarding was open and I did not have any luggage. I do not understand why they cancel the ticket of Rs. 3650 beacuse I was ready to fly.
                    So, I request you please refund the price of my ticket worth of Rs. 4650/-. at the earliest.

                      I traveled with Go air on 15 th feb 2011 but it was horrible experience to us, Me n my wife went to our honeymoon to Kashmir n due to ur Go air staff n crew it was a worst ending of my honeymoon...we never ever forget it.
                      Im sharing my experience with u....

                      My PNR no.- JGPD52,
                      my travel date with u on 14 feb 2011 but due to snowfall that has canceled n then i traveled next day from srinagar to delhi but due to staff negligence my baggage has been left at jammu n i got it by 3 PM next day, so from the first day on 14th i have to stay one night at srinagar,it cost me 5600/- and 1200 taxi and one night on 15th at delhi 6700/- and also i have to cancel my connecting flights to raipur for 2 times n it cost me 22000/- for 2 person next day. And due to ur staff negligence we have to stay one day at delhi hotel with no money,no other clothes because as my cash and clothes are in our baggage,its very humiliating and we have faced lots of problems at delhi just because of staff negligencey.

                      in flight G8-154 (15/02/11) crew miss priti or priya sharma also humiliated us by her attitude and she was making faces n that was so cheap n rediculas,she was behaving like as we traveling without any cost or ticket,she was very rude to us even she dint bother to ask for some food or drink and then at last i called her to bring some drink she straightly refused to bring then i requested 3 times ,after that an other crew has supplied me, that was very worst part of our journey.
                      In total.
                      That was my 1st experience with GOAIR and it was horrible, I think i never ever try next time

                        Hi,

                        I was going to attend a funeral to ahmedabad, of my father on 15th Feb. And in such a tragic and demise situation I was cheated by GoAir airlines. I booked a ticket from telephone from Bangalore to ahmedabad of Go air airlines with PNR number:- I5BYVV. I got the ticket with status "confirmed" in my email. I got confirmation of amount debited from my HDFC bank as well. I also called airlines just before reaching airport to confirm the ticket, and i have been told that it is confirmed.
                        But when i reached airport at the counter I have been informed that my ticket is not complete since the amount is been declined from my Bank. I was shocked, i was anyways in a hurry and had no clue what to do, thankfully one friend was with me to support, and gave the card to airliness to counter to get it swiped. Later when i called my bank it is been told that amount is approved twice from bank side and it is been debited twice from my credit card.
                        Now my bank statement says I have been transacted twice. Airlines people are not helping. It seems I have been cheated, since I have got one ticket and paid twice(two tickets).
                        I have been calling airlines from my roaming cell phone and spent a good amount of money but got no result.

                          I am a Air Force Personnel,presently working as UN peace keeper in Democratic Republic of Congo(africa). After finishing my leave i took the Flight of Go Air ( Flt No.-G8/344, PNR No.-PL9XYG) at 1610 Hrs on 07 Dec 2010 from PATNA to MUMBAI. After landing at Mumbai Air port, i found my luggage missed. the ground crew of Goair has told me that the luggage hadn't loaded at the same flight on that day,they took my address of Congo and told me they will deliver the Baggage very soon They gave me Property Irregularity Report(PIR) form also.But till now neither i received my Baggage nor any information about my baggage. i have call many times to Mumbai and Patna airport,but the Goair staff doesn't have any clue,i mailed to goair complain section but received no reply. My baggage contain Some UN documents and my important documents and uniforms.the loss of it may cause suspension of my job. But GOAIR Airways is such a irresponsible Airlines ,who has no vale for their consumer.

                            I had booked G8-193 from Mumabi to Bangalore. The flight was scheduled to depart at 7:50 PM.
                            However, Go Air has delayed the flight by one hour.

                            The reason quoted is that their is Airport Congestion, however, there IS NO WAY an individual can check and confirm if there IS a congestion in reality.

                            This is a lame execuse being used by Go Air (and all the other airlines).

                            I am registering this complaint so the we can investigate (in future) if there REALLY was Airport Congestion in Mumbai Airport on 11th Feb 2011.

                                  I had booked a ticket from lucknow to Delhi to travel on 8th January 2011 through my personal credit card. Subsequently, the flight was cancelled on the same day and i got my ticket cancelled. The female executive at the airport who cancelled the ticket said that amount of refund will be credited in your credit card in full within 7 working days. But it is not yet refunded. My PNR No. 8BLYVZ and the amount of ticket is Rs.5,762/-. I called up customer care many a time but they dont pick the call or disconnect without even listening. It's been more than that now and i m not releived. Please help me in this.

                                    i have made a booking from makemytrip for my friends Father, his wife and kid(3 months). for some reasons i had to cancel the booking from makemytrip. they charged 1000 each for adults that is fine but they charged 1000 for infant also. i paid only 808 rs but they charged 1000 for cancellation. i called customer care of makemytrip and they said it's airlines rules we cann't help you.

                                    Go Air — charged without providing proper information

                                    Hi,
                                    I booked airline ticket (Go air – PNR No. EYV10Y) for my wife in July 2009 (Mumbai to Delhi and return) through arzoo.com. These people (airlines and Arzoo) have not informed me about baggage restriction. This information was not given either on their e-ticket or through arzoo. And finally on time of boarding at Delhi airport, they found some extra weight and over-charged her. Now both (airlines and booking agent – arzoo) are playing blame game. Both are putting blame on other party. Despite, complaining multiple times, none of them accepting their mistake. It looks like some type of nexus between both and it seems that they do it deliberately. Charging passenger by hiding relevant information.

                                    808 rs fare charges was for the infant.
                                    Before booking the ticket once or twice think and book it. if you cancel the ticket mostly you will not get refund for non-refundable airlines. for refundable airlines mostly 40% will be deducted and remaining amount will take 15 to 20 days to get reflect in your account that you have made during booking.

                                    For Goibibo it will take 15 to 20 days.
                                    For makemytrip it will be same too...

                                      I (Snigdhadev Roy) have been unfortunate enough to have lost my baby's pram during the GoAir flight G8/153 from Delhi to Mumbai while returning from my holiday. This is how it all happened.
                                      I boarded the Flight at around 12 in the cold night of 5th Jan, 2011 after the flight getting delayed for over an hour. (PNR No.UTV9H7, Seat No:16A to 16C)
                                      I handed over the baby pram to the ground personnel at the flight stairs. I had explicitly asked if I need a receipt for the same and they said no. They said that they will load the pram in the flight. To add to this, this is the same way my wife had carried the pram while starting for the holiday.
                                      After the flight reached Mumbai, and on unoarding the flight, I asked the groundman to get me the pram. He said that I will be getting it at the baggage collection belt. So I went inside the airport building towards the belt
                                      But after waiting for 30 mins at the belt, I did not see the pram. It was around 2:50 in the night.
                                      So I contacted the GoAir agent at the counter to lodge a complain. First he asked me all sorts of stupid questions rather than trying to contact the flight personnel and Delhi Airport. At last when he contacted, there was no answer from anyone.
                                      So he took down my address, phone number, flight details and promised to contact me.
                                      Till now there is no news of the pram. I have contacted GoAir Mumbai but they keep on saying that they are looking into the matter. GoAir does not have even a formal complain lodge mechanism as I learnt from their representative. Neither do they have the courtesy of calling us up to give the status.
                                      I do not know how long i will have to deprive my baby of 7 months from his beloved pram.
                                      This airline has not only lived up to their tag of being a cheap airline but are also full of irresponsile and cheap people.
                                      I need the pram back or a refund of the cost at the earliest. Please help me recover it.

                                        I was at airport on 11th Dec' 2010 and was waiting for the departure call from Go AIR for flight G8-144 and just before 1.5 to 2 hours from the departure time, Go air sent an SMS stating that flight got canceled due to bad weather. I had no option to arrange anything at that time and it could have caused me so much harm. Go Air staff literally harassed me and it caused a lot of mental stress to me. Firstly, they said they are going to arrange a cab from Delhi to Chandigarh and when nothing happened, they simply said that they cannot do anything and cab cannot be arranged. I was all alone in Delhi in an winter evening. It is like a bad dream to me. I am thankful to God that he sent one old gentleman who was traveling to Chandigarh and he gave me company and dropped me home safely. I want to file a complaint against GO Air and I do have the signature & stamp of the Go air staff member(on airport suty) on my ticket to prove myself. In case it is required I can send the scanned copy to you.

                                        I do have necessary proofs to prove the harassment.

                                        This is to inform you, I Sachin Saluja booked 2 tickets for my brother Kapil Saluja and sister in law Pooja Gandhi on[protected] through yatra.com (Your Yatra Reference No: RZOBQA) for dated[protected] PNR NO 5DIB31, erroneously name was wrongly given as mine Sachin Saluja whereas ticket required in the name of Kapil Saluja . Same was noticed when I took printout on[protected] at 12 AM I called your helpline number to change the name from Sachin to Kapil they refused to do the needful as per your company norms but I think as per airline rule same is possible when I asked to transfer the call to some senior call was transfer to Mr George who told that he is floor supervisor I was explaining him all the details and suddenly call got disconnected from his end I again called same person George pick up the call when I asked him that is he floor supervisor he transfer the call to Sheetal who told that she is actually floor supervisor as she was busy in some other work he asked Mr George to act as floor supervisor on her behalf than I explained entire details to her due to urgency I ask her to cancel the tickets after waiting for 25 minutes call again got disconnected . I again called your help line again call got disconnected .I received call from your call center by George he confirmed me that he is canceling 1 ticket in the name of Sachin Saluja as I booked new ticket in the name Kapil Saluja online Confirmation number: 5ZRWBY. When my brother reached airport it was confirmed by GOAIR staff that both the tickets have been cancelled, he tried to explain all the details to that lady at GOAIR counter who was not helpful and told that speak with call center people as call center is different and we are different when I speak to that lady at counter and ask for help she said that nothing can be done talk with call center people .I again called your helpline number and ask for clarification that how both the tickets have been cancelled agent ask me to hold the line, after long hold of 20 minutes it was confirmed that error is from GOAIR end and they can re activate the cancelled ticket, as my brother have to board the flight new tickets was purchased from airport . I again called at your helpline number and spoken to Sheetal and ask for refund for cancellation charges and extra amount which was paid to buy new tickets, as per her she have to revert to me after discussing matter with their senior but I have not received any call .Please explain why should customer suffer for extra charges on tickets and also cancellation charge due to mistake of GOAIR staff and after making such blunder staff was not at all helpful .Please help
