I Sunder Vanniar staying in Pune, My flight was scheduled on 17th Oct:PNR number QK8vZT Flight number G8-452 at 11.10 Pm from Pune to Chennai. I reached the Airport by 10.20 PM and was inside the Go Air Check In counter by 10.25( Which is exactly 45 min before flight). When i arrived the ground staff was just leaving the counter and was saying that the check in time is over and all the document are submitted and i cannot board the flight now. I have query if the last check in time is 45 min prior, that means the document or anything should be submitted 40 min prior to the flight not exactly at45 min prior that means they have closed boarding even before 45min ( Many a times flight gets delayed by hours and we are just said sorry for inconvenience and i was late the ground staff was talking with me like i have killed some one and nothing can be done now). She simply walked away telling i am 5 min late, although i was at airport by 10.20 PM i have message from my cab at 10.18Pm specifying my end of travel and amount to be paid( Attaching the snapshot of the message) Secondly the ground staff was not at all supportive and was speaking to me harshly and was looking at me as if i was a beggar, begging for some assistance( I am a customer and she was there to provide service or help me but she was like annoying). I asked her for feed back form to express my views, she made me wait for 30 min saying feed back form are over. But i was adamant, so she got the forms from some where. After i submitted the form and was supposed to leave she opened the feed back form and was scrapping the form, but i already took a snap of the form attaching with this. This experience have completely led a very bad impression for Go Air. Will definitely not fly with Go Air if i have a choice. I just want the Go Air Authority confirming that they cannot help a customer who arrives exactly on the last check in min. Previously i have flied with spicejet airway who let and truly help me board my flight even though i arrived 25 min prior to my flights departure. So as far as i feel the experience with Go Air was truly a bad one. Thanking Go Air for that

Hi I am Shubhi Jain, my flight was of today morning i.e. Oct 30, 2019 time 5.50 am. I reached the airport by 5 am and I can show my cab details as well. When I tried to take the boarding pass from machine, due to some problems I didn't get it. The support person also tried 2 times and he also didn't told the reason. When I went to the counter, they denied to give me the boarding pass. And not only me, there were around 20 people who were not allowed to board the flight. For 45 minutes we begged before them to allow for check-in. The person was very rude. And he didn't help at all. Whereas other airlines like indigo was supportive for their customers. They not only allow customes, also give them another flight without any charges. Goair changed me rs. 3250 and then gave me another connecting flight via bagdogra. It just wasted my whole day and my money. I just had that money only with me.
I request you to consider such issue and help me with this.

I got a message today morning that my flight has got cancelled and I have to visit www.goair.in or call [protected] / [protected] to modify or cancel my booking at no extra fee. I have been trying to call right from the time I got the message at 11.22 AM, but they keep me waiting and waiting until I cut the call out of frustration. I have been wasting a lot of time to reschedule my ticket, but it seems the customer care numbers are just a joke and are virtually non-existent. Didn't expect such a lame behaviour from an airlines like goair. I am a frequent traveller and I have seen other airlines handle cancellations much better. Amongst all customer care services I have dealt with in my life, I have never had such a terrible experience.

    Refund for flight to Srinagar

Due to heavy floods I had to cancell my ticket to Srinagar. To my surprise Goair deducted Rs.1500 per ticket though in media it is reported no cancellation fee will be charged due to natural calamity. What shall I do next?
My parents was about to travel on 20th march with go air! But they cancelled the flight and even after so many calls and email they are neither replying not solving the issues, I m not able to reschedule the ticket nor they are refunding. I want my refund back as we are not planning to travel in future. Please help

This is with reference to my Booking cancellation Reference: 2LAT9O. The ticket has been cancelled on 7th September, however till date the money has not been returned as yet ( 13th October). To enquire the same to your customer care, no one picks up the call. why it is so? is it that people are crazy to fly with Go air or you give a damn to your customers?

Hello Sir, I have raised the complain at Delhi Airport itself for the same in order to claim the Checked-In Baggage Damage which causes loss to me approx 40k because of Mishandling of Baggage by the Goair Airlines. I was carrying high quality liquor of 3 Bottles which airlined asked me to put as a part checked-in baggage in Goa and while hard baggage handling it got broke and destroy everything on my bag, I had filed the complain to the airlines and took the complain letter from goair at Delhi Airport as well for the damaged checked-in baggage. They have investigated and provided the letter for the same and given commitment to get it settled within 2 days but Since then no response from your end.. This is a direct case of which I can put for passenger ignorance due to Airline Baggage Mishandling. Note : I have attached the Complain No. with letter of Settlement request which GoAir Airline Authority had given on 28th September 2014. Service request number is G[protected].[ Which they had given me while filing this issue to go Air Customer care] Flight Details: [protected] Flight PNR : IFQXCE Airline : GoAir (G8-285) Departure : Sun, 28 Sep 18:35 ( GOA) Arrival : Sun, 28 Sep 21:05 (New Delhi, Terminal T-1D) Passenger : Mr Ashutosh Kumar Ticket Number : IFQXCE-1 Complain No. : Attached Complain Reference No. Which they had given at Delhi Airport : DEL/A081 Please resolve my concern and compensate the loss incurred of Approx INR 40 K within your settlement stipulated time.. With ref to PNR No.74L4CD, Its been great to deal with your organsisation by having fake commitment day on day which means to say all your call center representative are not trained enough so that they can have clear communication. By having said communication gap is the commom word I should use while dealing with u .

First call I had on 10 sept, 14 for the cancellation since then all your
honoured commitment started. On 11 sept, 14 I got an receipt from your side
stating the refund amount and your 7 working day journey started and till date
its not over yet. In every communication there was variation and infact not able
to define 7 working day even . Now when I have again called on 23 Sept, 14, I
came to know that within 24 - 48 hrs I should receive revert. But you forget
about revert today when I have again called new story has come up into picture
that my refund intiated on 23 instead of 11 September, 14.

All new stories on day n day basis sometime by having bulk cancellation,
natural calamities, etc n etc .

I simply dont understand when other airlines like Indigo n all can refund
money in 3-4 working days then why not u.

See now I am worried that I would be having refund back or not or your 7
working day journey is going to be over or not.

Let me tell you one thing this was first and last time I have experienced
with u and this is hampering your own brand image and myself being professional
suggest you atleast have your commnication clear this is what I can say in
          last.

            Hi team of GoAir..

This is my third time complaining about the same. I had taken a flight from DEL to GAU on 10 sep (G8/151, NRSUZY), My brand new baggage was torn and also some items were lost when i reached GAU. They had taken some pictures and did some formalities and that was it. The GoAir officer said i will get a call back, which never happened. Whenever i called, it only tells me that it is in progress, and mostly, calls go answered. I was promised a refund for the loss and I'm eagerly waiting for it.

            Regards,

I cancelled my ticket booked thru go air website. But even after 20 days, they are not crediting the amount back into my account. GOAIR is a total fraud airlines. Worst ever customer service I have encountered from any company. Never ever book your tickets thru GO AIR airlines.

On the 10 of September 2014, we arrived at the Chatrapatti Shiva international airport Mumbai at 6-00 am-we were travelling to Guwahati on route home to Shillong. On checking in at the GoAir counter we were informed that our two pieces of luggage was booked through to Guwahati and we were handed two boarding passes. The first one was for the Mumbai New Delhi leg of the journey bearing flight Number G8-327 and seat number 16 A and 16 B STD 7.50 am and the second bore flight No G8-151 and seat numbers 16 B and 16 C, STD 10.35 am. That immediately told me that I had to change planes at New Delhi. The flight took off on time. Our STA at Indira Gandhi International airport New Delhi was 9.55 am. The flight took off on schedule but during the flight we were informed by the pilot over the intercom that the flight was delayed. I was not worried as this was quite normal. The flight G8-327 landed at 10.21 am -26 minutes behind the scheduled time and that when the nightmare started. We rushed out from the arrival lounge and headed for the departure lounge which was located in another building on the first floor. We entered through gate 7 was headed for the security check. Once out of security, we ran on to gate no 9, where we were confronted by the digital announcement board that that the gate was closed. We approached the three GoAir officials at the gate and explained that we had just got out of flight G8-327 from Mumbai and that we were there to catch flight G8-151 bound for Guwahati. They told us that the flight had departed while rudely demanding to know why we had deplaned as the same air craft was bound for Guwahati. I was perplexed for a moment but showed them the second boarding pass for flight no G8-151 and asked them if the same air craft was flying on to Guwahati why were we issued two boarding passes. To which they replied that it was ‘standard procedure’. One of them took away the boarding pass and asked us to follow him. At the counter we were told to wait. I watched them as they stood a little away their face grim as they discussed the situation. After about 15 minutes I walked up to the counter and asked for the fate of our luggage which was booked through to Guwahati. They asked me to be patient and wait as they were bringing it. 45 minutes or so later our bags were wheeled in. One of the airline employees tried to remove the baggage tags but I prevented them from doing so. By this time I had begun to realise that the airlines was attempting a cover up. So one again I approached the counter and demanded to meet their superior to register my complains. But I was stonewalled again and again. When I persisted they haughtily informed that they would rebook my ticket for the following day. A young man, in the airline uniform was given my boarding pass and was instructed to ask me take me to the reservation office to get the paper work done. However at the exit gate the young man passed on that chore to a lady colleague. I followed her on to the reservation office and was asked to wait at the lobby while she disappeared into the maze of offices with the Delhi Guwahati boarding passes. I waited for a very long time but I never saw her ever again. My patients ran out after a long wait and so I walked behind the counters trying to locate the lady. She was nowhere to be seen. Just as I despaired ever getting any where I noticed the air line staffer who had guided us from gate no 9 to the counter. I caught hold of him and demanded to know the status of the rebooking of our tickets. He asked me for the PNR no on my Mumbai Delhi Boarding pass and within seconds I was holding the new tickets booked the following day. I then demanded that the airlines make arrangements for the hotels at our unscheduled stop over at New Delhi. He coldly told to take care of it myself; once again iterating that the air lines were not at fault and so was not liable. I lost one whole precious day thanks to Go air. I also had to shell out of my pocket for my lodge and board plus taxi fare for the unnecessary stop over at Delhi. I boarded flight G8-151 bound for Guwahati the following day but not before I extracted the information from the flight manager that flight G8-151 originates from Bangaluru and not Mumbai as claimed by the officials’ of GoAir. Some questions If the same air craft was on ward bound to Guwahati why were we issued two boarding passes? With two sets of seat numbers If our luggage was booked through to Guwahati how/why was it unloaded at New Delhi air port. Would they have treated any other passenger from the ‘mainland India’ in the same shabby way? I can only conclude the following:- This is a clear case discrimination against people from the north east of the country Ingenious way to harass passengers Blatant racist attitude. The air line in risky one and I strongly advise travellers to avoid using their service The airlines had better pull up its socks if it wants to stay in business I was travelling with a cousin who is a cancer survivor on our way back home after his annual medical check up at the Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.

Dear Sir/Madam, It was very unfortunate that I had booked my family trip (6 Adults & 4 Kids) (PNR No. 91HT0J and FN2CIX)through your airlines for Srinagar/Kashmir. Though all the airlines are refunding the complete money for the booking made for this particular sector, your staff talks rudely and ask for a deduction of Rs. 1500/- per passenger. Not only this he asks me to change the date which no one know that how much time Srinagar, will take to get normal. I am planning to travel with kids of ages between 3-10 years (4 kids), please tell me if you have a family, will you take a risk like this. This is Natural Calamities which are beyond the control of anyone. If as per the Government provision for refund has been made that why is it that I am being bothered again and again. Everytime I have been told to call after 2 days. I am not interested to get into mess or go legal, so hereby I request you to kindly refund the money. Looking towards your kind co-operation. Thanking You Yours Truly Suraj Goenka Ph. : [protected]

                          Address: Chandigarh, Chandigarh

Please find my mail to Go air. This is my comlpaint also . Nodal officer at GoAir It's highly unfortunate that I need to escalate a grievance to you. I would like to bring chain of incidents happened when I was traveling with my family, i.e. my wife and 5 years old daughter, on 20th June 2014 with GoAir with below flight details: GO AIR PNR UTUC8G IXC -BOM FLIGHT 382 20JUN 11:30 HRS. Passengers: 1. Jaiprakash Hasrajani - Male - 36 Yrs 2. Gursimran Kaur - Female - 34 Yrs 3. Mehar Kaur - Female - 5 Yrs Following is what happened: 1. Check-in Counter experience: We arrived at checkin counter in Chandigarh well before time of 45 minutes prior flight time and were checked in without any concern by your airline counter. We got shock when without asking us / confirming with us, we were given three different seats. When questioned to checkin team, they (lady at counter and manager there) said we cannot do anything and flight is full. I requested that I have 5 yrs old kid and she cannot be made to sit alone. To which manager said he can't do anything. When I insisted, he said take upgrade to business class and pay for it extra if I want seats together. I requested that it doesn't make sense. Asked to Give us atleast 2 seats together so child doesn't sits alone to which he (manager) said he can't do anything. He refused to show any empathy or even try to think through as what can be done. Another lady at another checkin counter gave me lecture that I should have come 2 hours earlier if need seat together or done tele checkin. Very good lesson for us but didn't help the problem in hand. Certainly we would ensure we do book seats earlier going forward. My requests heed no results so I moved to aircraft hoping inflight crew will help. 2. InFlight Experience: I got bigger shock when I spoke to first inflight crew, Mr Chetan. He completely refused to even listen and said we should have requested at checkin and he can't do anything. He simply asked us to take the seat. We spoke to another inflight crew, Shradhha P. She further shockingly and very rudely asked us to take seat and that she doesn't care about child sitting alone and that we have to take seat. We, my wife and I, tried explaining to our child to sit alone (in middle of two strange people to her) to which our kid started crying. I requested inflight staff again saying my child is crying and can't sit alone, but she (Shradhha P) simply and rudely asked to take respective seats. This is all when my daughter was crying and we had to console her that we would sort it out or it's ok for us to sit separate for couple of hours of flight. She was obviously not consolable as this was shock to her too. Then came ground staff, asking us what is the problem. When we explained him, he saw tickets and said rudely that we have checkedin pretty late and that it's our problem and we need to take seat. My wife tried explaining him that we can't leave 5 years old girl with strangers and sit in separate seats while she is crying. He didn't pay any hoots to it, rather shockingly and very rudely asked my wife to take seat or threatened her that he will "offload" us as we are stopping flight from taking off. Are we some damn luggage that you guys will "offload" us? He went on repeating "offloading" us till I requested my wife to cool down as she lost her cool as listening to most rude statement ever. Forget about empathizing. This was most insulting and derogatory remarks we have ever heard. This was happening while Captain of the flight came out of his cabin and was told by his inflight crew about what's going on. Captain Rajeev in this case, simply made face and went back to his cabin. He didn't even come to talk to us or try to help. We then requested fellow passengers to give us a seat, when few refused, one finally gave up and said he would give. And then my wife could sit down with my daughter while fellow passenger came to embarrassing rescue in last. Through the flight we kept hearing about special preference GoAir gives to kids, your feedback form (when we asked for) says about customer experience as prime motto of GoAir. We couldn't have felt more annoyed seeing your company says something and does altogether something else. We filled 2 feedback forms and gave to ground staf[censored]pon arrival in Bombay. Copy of my feedback form, which I took photo of after filling is attached for your reference. Post feedback I have received two calls one telling me that airline is working on giving us seats together and that internal investigation is on. I received next call after 2-3 days saying that we have been given three seats together on our return flight and that investigations are done at your end and action taken. I asked for what action and I was told that it's internal matter and I cannot be told. So my question to her (person calling from airline) and to you too is, that of all the turmoil we went through your solution is giving us seats together in next flight? Can't we do this on our own and won't we surely do ourselves after such horrifying experience?? Also I would like to know what action is being taken. I was refused by your team member on phone. I asked her to send me email which she said she would and it's more than 3 days now but she hasn't send it even after confirming that she would send. Based on all above my daughter now have started dreading to fly, we were starting our vacation when above incident happened. We went post the above flight to Goa from Bombay. And in both flights, going and return from Goa, my daughter refused to take flight and started crying that she doesn't want to go in flight as flight people will make her sit separate/alone. It's with lot of difficulty and assurance with which we made her board the flights. She has developed this fear of flying in her now due to this such a bad experience with GoAir. Is this what customer experience you build that people start fearing taking flights??? We took SpiceJet flight to and fro Goa from Bombay and to our surprise on our return we were already allotted three seats together as we were family traveling together. Here is SpiceJet who would know what their customers would want. And in your case of GoAir, you won't proactively manage customer but rather insult them and make them suffer to fly with you. Our vacation was completely spoiled with above start. We are back from Goa and still in middle of vacation in Bombay when I am escalating this. Needless to say numerous discussions we have had within ourselves and our extended family about this, where all have recommended to sue airline and lodge complaint in consumer court. All this is going on when we are on vacation which we rarely take. It's really disgusting to see above behavior from a national airline of such a large country as India. An airline which is from a very reputed Bombay Dyeing Group. I am demanding answer from you as: 1. what will make my daughter's fear go which has developed due to above experience with GoAir 2. What about our entire vacation spoilt 3. What about insult of treating us as luggage 4. Making mockery o[censored]s in front of all passengers 5. What exact action you taking on above all and against your staff and management including captain of the flight that ensures nothing like this ever happens with any passengers. Thanks, Jaiprakash Singh Hasrajani

Proper customer service is a necessity when it comes to airlines. When boarding the flight from Ranchi airport to Mumbai, Shilpa Banerjee at the check in counter was downright rude and to the point that she came down to arguing and quarrelling with me like some local uneducated person. This really diminishes the standards of an airline. They should maintain a level of courtesy and sophistication be it any location. I expect that the concerned person be reprimanded and at the very least be made to understand the basic requirements of working in a service industry. Do let me know on the same

I came in for check in of baggage at Mumbai airport terminal IA today at 1800hrs to board flight G8 341 for Delhi leaving at 1920hrs. My PNR No was BNJ8FB. There was a huge rush at the boarding counters that time and a long serpentine queue of passengers as a no. of Go Air flights were departing almost at the same time. At 1830h an official of Go Air Mr. Sushant Pawar asked the standing passengers in the queue if there were any passengers for Delhi. On hearing this 7-8 raised their hands and were distributed to different counters. I was sent to a boarding counter where Ms Farah Shaikh, Customer Care Executive was handling customers. The passenger before me produced an e-ticket for Nagpur but was mistakenly given a boarding pass and baggage tag for Delhi by Ms Farah Shaikh. This confusion diverted the mind of Farah elsewhere as she did not know how to rectify and cancel the error in the system.During this while I reminded her twice to attend to me as there was an urgency to give me a boarding pass. On both occasions she asked me to be patient. Meanwhile, after a lapse of 10 mts at 1840hrs Mr Sushant Pawar came to assist Ms Farah Shaikh. At that time I again reminded her to give me the boarding pass. Mr Sushant standing nearby said that security check in time is over and no more boarding passes can be given. I pleaded my case but he expressed his inability to come to any help or adjust in the next flight of Go Air. Not only did I not reach my destination in time, I lost money on my ticket, I have hired a room outside Mumbai airport to board the Air India flight to Delhi tomorrow morning. The cost of damage to me is upwards of Rs12000/- other than harassment all due to negligence and carelessness of your employees. I may be reimbursed with the cost of damages due to the fault of your employees and having far few boarding pass counters than the no.of passengers boarding.

I have lodged a complain to Mr Kundan at the Delhi Go air customer window completing all formalities for the same.Ever since I have not received any call from them. It is even more exasperating that i have made dozens of calls but of no help.Mr Kundan has not even lodged an official complain so to say. Go air I am ashamed at your casual attitude of your employees.

I booked a flight from Lucknow to Pune under independence day offer. I booked the flight for 4770rs, GO Air cancelled the whole flight and told me that they are cancelling the whole flight. When I asked for alternatives they told that they can only give me flight from Delhi to Pune or Lucknow to Mumbai, when I asked I have paid uptill Pune why shall I get down at Mumbai they told me to take the refund that is what they can do. I faced a lot of trouble a I had to book different for which i paid some 1800rs extra. Also they changed my plan due to which I faced a lot of inconvinence.

Respected sir/madam, I mr mahendra verma passenger on your flight G8-383 PNR - 9LPCOG to Jaipur had checked-in at the counter on time.i had received my boarding pass which was not having gate no as I was told it will be displayed on the monitor.after some time I went on the gate no. mentioned and asked one of your go-air ground hostess that I'm waiting to board Jaipur flight, she directed me to the seat and said the gate has not been announced yet.i told her I'm waiting for Jaipur flight, she said still time for the flight. As some time passed and no announcement was made I panicked and went to an asked same hostess which gate am I suppose to go for Jaipur flight and she said the flight has already left.i panicked and I told her I asked you twice, but she said I thought you asked for Jammu flight. She didn't hear me clearly and was a new staff and wasn't much experience.it was her mistake and I was left standing without boarding on the aircraft.i went to the manager, but nobody seemed to help me, instead blaming me for the mistake made by your new staff.i had to pay for cancellation plus fare difference for the next day flight. Is this the way your Go-air staff operates without any humanity and instead of accepting the mistake trying to put blame on me by saying I'm at fault.i have decided to go to media and put it across to the head of your company of this unprofessional behaviour towards the passenger. Kindly look into this matter and I expect justice by refunding my money which has been charged to me without any mistake of mine.. Thanking you, Mahendra Verma
