Dear Sir/Madam

I would like to tell you that no bank will provide loan sanction letter before getting loan; if you are mentioning about sanction letter after getting loan, then, I am not eligible for the amount I require to purchase, due to this personal loan (EMIs)...
When I spoke to your official and told about this, I was asked for Agreement photocopy. As per the discussion, I went ahead and made agreement. If you mean it doesn't have any value, then you mean Bond paper doesn't have any value in India?
Apart from this I need not have to fool you people by telling I am buying house, as its just 3 more months to complete 12months of EMIs.
I was not allowed to talk to HDFC manager (Indiranagar branch, Bangalore) in person regarding my problem.
I have been requesting everyone in HDFC from almost a month now and I realise now that I have been fooled and made to commit a big time mistake of making agreement of 2lakhs rupees by wrong instruction, which I may have to loose.
Its frustrating that though I am ready to pay 3 EMIs together and then loan amount+penalty, I am not allowed to do so. I am not eligible for housing loan due to this. Every rule has an exception, But I wonder you don't have any exception!!
In future I would not make any mistake of taking any loan from HDFC for the least understanding from the team...
I would even suggest my friends and consumer forum not to commit this mistake and share about the problems, inconvenience, that I had to face...

Dear Swati,

As per the discussion with your official Swaroop Hegde, I had sent a scanned copy of home agreement on June 26th. He has forwarded it to his higher officials, but till now they have not reverted back to him. So I have not received any response. I need to close the loan and apply for the home loan. I have only 2months of time to get it registered from the date of agreement. Also I have spent 2 lakhs for agreement, so as to provide you for proof, which I might have to loose in case of delay. Please help me to close the loan as soon as possible. I obtained the personal loan from HDFC within 2days and I look forward for the same kind of service from your team. I request you to kindly look into this issue and help me out at the earliest.

      whole i was in kolkata, i got an sms from hdfc bank that my credit card has been used at Dummy Mer Retail in bangalore. I contacted the helpline immediately and the hdfc official assured me that the amount transacted would be reversed and result of their investigation will be apprised by them to me within 48 hours. But after 72 hours when i contacted them, they refused to make any enquiry unless I fill up a Form downloaded from their website. the also refused to reverse the money tranacted illegally. The behavior of HDFC Bank surprised me. I suspect, HDFC bank officials are involved in the racket of fraud. I request Reserve Bank of India to intervene and take stern action against the bank for their act.

      Hello Mahes,

      Even I have faced same problem today and got the sms 2 times saying that card has been used at BANGALORE, DUMMY MER RETAIL, when I have called HDFC Credit card customer care they said they dont have merchant details and asked me to call after 2-3 days. But if more transactions with higher amount made I will be in trouble so asked them to block. I feel something fishy behind this incident.
      HDFC Credit card should be held responsible as online transaction cannot be done without Master Secure/Verified by Visa and Direct transaction requires Physical Card.

      I guess this has happened as we might have submitted our photocopy of the credit card (front side) to somebody. Even then I held HDFC responsible for the transaction as the credit card is safely in our pockets
      Hi Folks,

      I am surprised to find so many people getting such smses o[censored]nknown transactions viz "Dummy Mer Retail".
      The customer care is unable to answer on the transaction. I have blocked my card, I guess had no option.
      Anyone from Mumbai got this sms?

      I got the same thing today but on mu CITIBANK credit card. There must be some explanation.
      I just got it confirmed from the Citibank Customer care. He said that when we apply for a different card credit card or for a credit transfer from another card, the other bank verifies by making this transaction. I have applied for a new Manhattan credit card and gave the Citi card as proof. I am assuming that must be the reason i got the alert "Rs 1.00 was spent on your Credit Card on 13-OCT-11 at DUMMY MER RETAIL."
      Hi do you apply for any other creadit card and its verification is tack placed on same day when you get this message. I have got reply from HDFC call center that if you apply for any other card mostly Standard Chartered Bank India then you will get this message .

      Hi I am using HDFC CC and I faced the same issue today. Rs 1 got deducted and SMS says card was used at DUMMY MER RETAIL. I have applied for Standard Chartered Card too some time back. Upon investigation with the HDFC bank I came to know that it was a dummy transaction to validate my card for standard chartered. Money has not been deducted. Its an exercise to validate my card. Its not a security concern.

      Its true that all executives at HDFC are not aware about this. First executive I spoke to could not explain this and blocked my card. Then to investigate more I called again and I was lucky this time to come across an executive who was aware about this and even before I told him the whole case he completed the case and gave me a logical explanation about this incident.
      Just had the same experience! Got a message and email about a transaction of Rs.6 on my Citibank Credit Card! Checked and got confirmation from another bank where I had applied for Balance Transfer, and they had done the transaction to verify my Citi Bank Credit Card! So all's well! :)

          HDFC STANDARD LIFE — Providend Fund Withdrawl

          I have been with HDFC Standard Life from August 2006 to May 2007. I have a PF contribution from my side was RS 960 P.M.. The same amount has been contributed by the Company also.
          This amount was a Part of my Cost To Company.
          I have submitted a withdrawl of in the month of January 2008, till date the amount has not been credited in my Bank Account.
          In fact when I went to submit the form, I come to know that they have their own charity for PF.
          They are not ready to listen and whenever I visit their Kolkata office, they harass me on the same.
          I think this is in their policy that they love to harrase their previous employees because I was also working with HDFC Standard Life from Jan2007 to Aug2008 and I am also facing the same problem...
          They only talk about their strong HR policies, Values and ethics and I think they are worst at this but as I am also experiencing the same thing like you buddy... I think we need to take some hard steps as I am going to take e.g.
          1. You can complaint against them in PF commissioner's office
          2. Lodge a complaint in Consumer forum because they have a provision for this.
          3. Lodge a complaint against them in Civil court under labor law and demand PF as well as compensation for mental harrasment as I am also going to do the same and i think they deserve to be slapped by the court... don't loose a faith in Judiciary...
          and don't stop fighting for the things you deserve as well as they deserve... don't be like a honey because they don't understand the sweet language...

I worked with HDFC Standard Life Since 09.07.2009 and i resign to company 12.04.2010 my Emp No.50730 & PF NO.MH/Esst CODE NO.211273/A/c No. 35232but still i not received my PF i applied already 28.01.2011. and also all documents send HDFC Standard Life Departments & soft copy also send to PF Queries <[protected]@hdfclife.com>, pfqueries <[protected]@hdfcinsurance.com> they are replied like this : Dear Mr. Abid Hussain,

          We have recd your PF withdrawal request on dt. 29.03.2011

          We are in a process of transferring the entire PF Trust to Regional
          Provident Fund Commissioner's Office - Bandra. During this transition
          period all PF withdrawal and transfer settlements will be on hold. Once all
          the funds and files gets transferred to Regional Provident Fund
          Commissioner, the entire Provident Fund settlement i.e. withdrawal and
          transfer will be handled by them.

          Regarding the time, we will not able to commit you since it would be
          settled by Regional Provident Fund Commissioner.


          The PF Trust handover process is still going on with the PF commissioner.
          Till then we cannot submit any claims since clerk and group no. is not
          allotted to us. We are requesting the PF commissioner to speed up the
          transfer process.

          Respected Sir,
          I am Ex Employee of HDFC Standard Life Insurance and My Employee Id is 50758, After leaving the company i applied for Pf and after several reminders to HR through telephone calls and visits to Branch and even i called Pf Deptt for the release of Pf no one concernd is taking steps, I called up several times to Pf Department but they are not listening to my query and i am following the issue from last one year but i am unable to solve my query.Even to know about my Pf No i had to call several times to HR Department and the Pf Department of HDFC then they gave me my Pf No, My Pf no is 35254.

            Sir,
            I had made an transtion for widrawl of Rs. 10000 from my ATM Card No.[protected] at HDFC Bank ATM in town Kalayat of district Kaithal (Haryana). after some time the ATM Machine showed the transaction timed out. later on I checked my account and found that Rs. 10000 has been deducted from account for above mentioned transaction. I have complaint about it but not get any response. So you are requested to kindly look into the matter and refund my Rs.10000 as soon as possible.

I left the job in July,2008 and thereafter my salary is not being transfered into my salary account. My account was operating as a Salary account even after that for more than one and a half year.                   I live and work in Gurgaon I own an HDFC bak credit card.I am a regular pay master but for last two months couldnt pay my monthly installments on time. I have been getting regular phone calls from this person who says himself Praveen Kataria from the recovery department. He has started calling my work place too and abuses whoever picks up the phone.
                  He threatens me for life.I filed a complaint on customecareservices.[protected]@hdfcbank.com
                  but havent got any call till yet.
                  Please look in to the matter and help me out with this un professional behavior .

                    This is in reference to the transaction made into my account without intimating me by hdfc bank.

                    An amount of Rs 827.25 has been debited on 19th July 2011 from my HDFC salary account [protected], mentioning about 'DEPOSITORY CHARGES JUN[protected]' on demat account. I have used this account only once in the last year this was to be a life time free demat account.

                    When the account was given to me it was told that it would be absolutely free.

                    This is clear exploitation of customers.

                    I called the Cusotmer Care they want me to personally go to the malad HDFC BANK and talk for it, they dint even register a complain for this with them.

                      I applied for personal loan and my application is logged in[protected].On[protected]Saturday),I got a call from executive and told me that my loan is got approved and they need 8 check leaves and loan agreement to be signed.Then Monday[protected] again they called and told me that my loan is rejected.How come the approved loan got rejected on very next day.Why you people are cheating customers and wasting their time.And nobody is capable of explaining the reason why it got rejected.They are just reading whatever appeared in their screen and just telling they dont know what it means.Some how I came to know that,it is because of I am not staying with my family.I am staying in a rented flat.Not in PG.Those things are communicated properly in beginning itself with them.If that is an issue then they could have told it that time itself.I specifically asked about this because I got response from other bank that they are not able to give if I am not staying with family.But this people told me that that is not issue.I called customercare and they are telling they cannot help,contact executives.IF THEY CAN"T HELP THEN WHY THEY ARE GIVING CUSTOMERCARE SERVICE????For last 2 years I am using HDFC bank acocunt and now I am going to stop everything with HDFC BANK.These people are expert in cheating customers.I am not expecting any miracle from them because they are doing the same thing all the time.

                        I am akhilesh shukla purchase HDFC mutual fund on 18 Mar 2008 against FOLIO No 4750530/38 , now I had deposited the same for the redemption on 19 July 2011 at their Lucknow Branch.

                        After that I talked to their costomer care on 22 July but they not provided any information to me.

                        Than I mailed to them on 22 July for asking the detials but till date they not answering me mail, just auto response mail revert against my mail, Four times I had given them mail, but no body resposing me.

                          I had taken personal loan from HDFC Bank for 1.2 lakhs for 36 months. I had paid more then 33 EMI.Due to financial problems, i am not able to make payment for another three EMI.

                          Bank Agent is calling to my office phone and started shouting for paying the rest of my EMIs, When i am trying to expalining him my

                          financial problems, he is not even understanding my situaion, he his shouting in wild sound and repeating same words again and

                          agian. And he is telling that he will come to my office and ask for dues.

                              I have my HDFC loan since 2000 , I was regularly making my EMI payment previously through post dated cheques and later Online Payment , Since last two years they all of sudden Stop my online payment and after repeated emails to them they said you can't make online payment as it is difficult for our Account Department to reconcile the account. After repeted requested they started the service and send me an Email that you have to pay extra Rs. 50 for every Online Payment. This is Horiable....Any other customer of HDFC has the same problem ...Whole world prefer online payment with security and fastest process and this Company try to Still Money for online payment.....That is horiable.......I need some HELP even though my loan is getting over i am putting it here so other customer can raise their Voice against this Day time stilling.....looking for some solution..........

                                My mobile number is changed at two months back. And I went to the Ongole Branch,Prakasam District and requested for change the mobile number for insta alerts The Office Staff asked me to fill a form.
                                I did submit all the forms and Staff was told the change will reflect in 5 working days. It's been more than a month and still insta alerts are not come to my mobile number and situation is same. And I put a complaint in online complaint form (Reff No.'HBL=[protected]') but still no change.
                                I can't believe the bank is so irreponsible

                                  Before 2 or 3 years i have working with a BPO. they have provide me a HDFC Bank A/C. after left the company I went to Kerala. in the month of may i came back hear. sir I m a student & i cant bear this kind of charges. in the starting of July Month i called to HDFC Customer Care & they told to me Account is Activate, i can use this normally, there is no any single charges i have to pay. they didn't told me about A/C converted or AQD. when i got satisfy answer from customer care, My uncle who is working with Riya Arts' Company, I borrowed from him 3000/- rs. & deposited into my account without any hesitation. but on 19/07/2011, my all amount has been deducted in the name of AQD ( Rs. 827.00 three times & Rs. 528.00/- One times). sir plz i m student, u can inquire this, i cant bear this kind of loss of money. plz refund this into my account.Its a Request Sir, Please.                                     I am pardeep singh employee code no. cp11538 ,i want to inform the higher authorties of HDFC bank that i have worked for this bank for 16 months , and i resigned on 2nd march 2011 by a written letter to miss Anjali Batheja because My senior Nipun kumar and Nitin kumar were not present in the bank and they told me that i 'll get my leaving letter later on ,At 19th,march2011 they terminated me even i have submitted my resign .and i came to know about my termination after two months when i went there to get my experiance certificate and that time i was told that i had been terminated when i asked them why i did not get my termination letter they replied that it's sent to my ex team leader Harjinder singh then i collected my letter from him , i know that why they did this to me because i used to pay 2000 per month my seniors Nipun kumar and Nitin kumar as i was told by them that i don't need to come bank evryday if i pay 2000 to them , after 10 months i stopped giving them 2000 money from my salary ,that's the reason they fraud with me regarding my resign , in adding to , they used to train me like if i am not able to open 6 accounts i can open my friends account with my own money with alot of money as i will get more insentive , on 1st march two gold loans were brought by me of surinder singh and shanky dhiman but both were transferred to any other code and , i did not get my insentive 1200, and my PF is 19200 but i recieved only 13400 ,it has mentioned in my termination letter that i 'll get one extra salary but i havn't recieved it yet , i request you to let me know regarding my PF and pending salary , and i request you that Nipun kumar and Nitin kumar should be punished so that they can't ruin any other employees career and they should be replaced by other honest and responsible officers so that Banks may progress more and have good image among people
