I Today Received a call from your executive, Mr. HAFIZ ([protected])at 16.58pm
He wanted to introduce a saving plan to me. So he asked my Income and I refused to tell saying there is no income as i was not interested.
He Started talking so rudely and said 'DONT YOU EAT FOOD ?'
I replied that I DO,
He then said DO YOU SIT OUTSIDE SOME TEMPLE ?'
And then he cut the phone. I then tried to call him a couple of times..
First he picked the call but didn't speak anything and cut the call.
After that he was not picking it.

I am very annoyed with the today's incident . People like this are depleting the reputation of your bank.
I want serious action to be taken against Mr. Hafiz and to get the reply on what action has been taken.

    I have applied for DDs through online request on 03.09.2011 but not received till now (09.09.2011 - 11 am). When I tried to contact call centres (both [protected] and [protected]), no response also my call was cut subsequently.

    I registered online complaint through bank site and received feed back message to wait for 2 working days.

    When I already lost more than 5 days and how the concern authorities expect few more days. We make complaint only during emergency and if we get this kind response, how do we get confidence.

    Hence I request the concern to act prompt.

        Hi,

        This is in ref to an Auto Loan #19072282 which was disbursed on 27th July 2011 and the amount disbursed was around Rs.95,000 when the loan asked was for Rs.1 lack.
        The amount of Rs.5000 (approx) deducted was (as communicated) processing fees @ 2% which was Rs.2000 and Rs. 2300 was charged to submit to authority (as my original four wheeler RC was taken from me as it needed transfer of ownership and would also have HP of HDFC Bank).

        My RC and all other documents were taken from me on 20th July before giving disbursement, stating that disbursement and transfer of ownership on RC will take around 10 days.
        However since then I have been sent from pillar to post and I have not got any documents back. They also took Rs.1000 extra from me to give it to some broker to make the process faster.

        Moreover when I started calling them daily to know about the progress they gave me RTO slip which said that my documents were lying somewhere and no body deposited it to authority till 17th Aug 2011 which was almost after 27 days. Now that slip have expired on 1st sep 2011 and my car is now without Insurance and without RC and I cannot even take my car out on roads otherwise it will be seized.

        I have escalated the issues so many times however there is no one who is helping me with this. Only thing which I am getting is false promises that i will get a call back.

        The only thing I want is -

        1) Kindly resolve my issue and get me my RC with the ownership changed.
        OR
        2) Handover me the documents given along with the original RC with the money which was taken from me.

        2) Ashish - Auto Loan Department
        3) Amit - Ashish's Supervisor (Auto Lon Department)


        Hope to see this resolved within 2 days.

          Dear Readers,

          My complaint is about this girl Kiran who works with HDFC Loan Department at Andheri branch. I am in need of a personal loan and I registered myself on Apnapaisa.com to get the bets deal.

          This girl calls me and assures that she is calling for the HDFC bank loan department and can give me the loan of my required amount at 15% reducing balance alongwith 1% of processing fee. She also assured that she would wave off the 4% pre-payment charges as well. I found this offer very lucrative and hence processed my documents for the same. There was no mention of negoigating the rate of interest at all in her communication.

          Now after week, i got a call for confirmation with 18% of interest on reducing balance method and 2.5% as processing fee. I said the person not to process my papers further and speak to Kiran. She called me back and assured that she would speak to the team and get the thing sorted. Today, i came to know that she gave me fake information just to get a lead and show a file in her system on her name. Isnt this ridiculous? I mean how unresponsible and unprofessional people can be.....I never expected this kind of behaviour from a bank like HDFC.

          I would request all of you, please do not go ahead with HDFC ever in your life. I had heard many grievances about HDFC loan department, but thought it happens case to case. But today, i came to know the actual reason for it. I am not going ahead with HDFC for my requirement, but would like to share my experience with the rest.

            Dear Sir/Ma'am,

            Greetings!!!

            This is to file a complaint about my Hero Honda Passion Pro SS two-wheeler loan from HDFC Bank. I bought a Hero Honda Passion Pro SS dated 16 March 2010, the cost of which was Rs. 47,994/- from Singla Automobiles F1/22A Main Palam dabri Road ND. 45.
            I had given Rs. 18000/- as down payment to the Executive. He had given me 5 receipts for the same which are as follows:
            1- Rs. 13290/- against HP-HDFC Bank for PASSION PRO SS
            2- Rs. 560/- against Helmet
            3- Rs.1024/- against INS Renewal
            4- Rs. 1056 against Reg./Road Tax
            5- Rs. 1108 against ICICI Lombard Motor Insurance
            And he told me there are 18 installments of Rs. 2020/- against Rs.30000/- Bank Loan.
            I requested form the bank for the ECS facility and they completed all my documents. But from the 1st month they called me & said that the server of HDFC was not working properly. So, they requested me to give them cash and told me that ECS will be activated the next time. But the same thing happened for the next 3 months & I wrote them Cheques & took receipts also. Now, the HDFC bank executive is calling me repeatedly & saying that 3 cheques have bounced against my loan (But actually it has never happened with me as I always keep sufficient amount in my saving account) so I have to deposit penalty for that.
            Last Friday (2nd Sept. 2011) they called me again & said my total loan is Rs. 40000/- so still there are 6 more installments I have to pay. And on 5th Sept.2011 they deducted Rs. 2020 from my Bank Account.
            All this has caused grave inconvenience to me and I would appreciate prompt and immediate action in this regard.

            Dear HDFC Bank,

            Please specify which detail you require. And for your information I have given almost all details to you. I always receive same kind of comments from your side. I wrote to you a number of times on your customer care (subject RE:'HBL=[protected]' Complaint Form loan support- Mr. Susant, Mob. No. [protected]) and I always received the same reply - “We will come back to you”. However, you never did. But from your side I received the call as a threat. Due to these kinds of calls I have suffered a lot in my personal & professional life.
            From your side I never got support even when The ECS was not working for three months. You always called me, not for the solution but only to say “The server is not working properly so you need to pay Rs2020/- in cash”
            For that also I went to your Loan support branch “DearPark Safdarganj New Delhi Branch”. Again, I completed the New ECS from myself then it started well.
            If you want to solve this problem, please look into this matter ASAP.

              Dear Sir/ Madam,

              I Vikas Bhimrao Waghmare, a Unisys employee (268482) holding a saving account with HDFC Bank had applied for a Credit Card a month back.

              I would like to bring to your notice that I have not received my Credit Card kit till date. The more surprising thing to me is when I call up the Customer Care, they are not giving me proper response, they don't even want to listen to me. Always keep me on hold for 10-15 mins.

              Than, I called up one of your HDFC Rep, Sudesh to check the status as to where it is been delayed. He informed that your Credit Card request has been rejected, but didn't provide me the reason.

              Despite submitting the relevant documents, my request has been rejected thrice without providing me the rejection reason. I am sick and tired of calling the customer care. Its of no use, simply wasting money and our precious time.

              If this is the case, I will inform my HR to stop crediting my Salary to HDFC bank and will go for some other option.

              Hence, I request you to kindly look into the matter and resolve the issue at the earliest.

                I have a credit card account with HDFC bank bearing credit card Number [protected] in the Name of Vyakaranam Jyothirmai, I am regular account holder with any dues in account, as per the SMS sent by the bank I came to know that in the place of old card I am going to get a new card. But till today I am not received any new card from the HDFC Bank, but the statement are comming with the new card no. [protected], when I enquired with the customer care center of the Bank, The said card was returned with reason address in correct, but all statements issued by the bank was reaching to me successfully with same address. I requested the Bank people to cancel the Newly issued credit card but bank people repeatedly saying that they will deliver the same with in two days but till today I have not received any credit card, in these circumstances, I request you kindly close the credit card.

                Your courrier boy had come to my house to deliver my HDFC bank credit card. Since I was having a bath I had asked my maid to ask him to wait for 2 mins.He refused to do the same and said he would come back. Not only did he not come back, he has sent the same back to the bank causing me grave inconvenince, kindly train your staff to provide better service.

                I applied for a duplicate credit card from HDFC bank. In that context I sent a hard copy of application to their chennai credit card center. I sent that application through HDFC Patia Branch, Bhubaneswar. According to the branch manager the hard copy mail was delivered to Chennai Office on 3rd June. The mail was sent by by Cosmic Courier (AWB: 109657 dated 30.5.13). On 7th June I Made a call to Calcutta Credit Card help center but to my surprise I got this information from them that till 7th June 2013, the system is not updated with the receipt of my application in hard copy. That means their is a total miss-management in the system. In that context I also wrote a mail to Mr Aditya Puri, MD of HDFC bank on last week, but till now nobody from HDFC bank has even felt urgency to call me back in that regard. My net banking is showing that duplicate credit card has been generated against my account. But simply it is kept undelivered till date. Is it at all world class service from HDFC bank. I am also thinking of writing this story to social blogs and network. The mail I wrote to Mr Aditya Puri is as follows:

                Dear Sir,
                Its a very bad feeling for me that at last I am writing this mail to the highest authority of HDFC bank. I know it is not possible for him to pay attention to very small issues  occurring  everyday and every moment. 

                I am a credit card holder of HDFC. Due to some disputed transaction the card was blocked. The card no is [protected]. The case id was HBL=[protected]. Later on I also appealed for the issue of a duplicate credit card. The hard copy I sent through HDFC Branch: Patia, Bhubaneswar. When I went to that branch some staff member asked me not to drop that mail in the drop box when I asked him where to drop that one. received that mail (hard copy in a sealed envelop) from my hand by himself. Last day I rang Kolkata helpdesk of credit card center. There Ms. Bidhrohini attained my call and she explained the reason why the duplicate card has not been dispatched to me. The reason she expressed before me is like this.."As you did not give the written application for issuing a duplicate card, so it has not been done". I was surprised and told her that I by myself handed over the hard mail copy to the  concerned branch at Patia, Bhubaneswar. But she told that she is helpless since the system is showing like that only. Then I contacted the Patia Branch Manager Mr Manoj Parida and narrated the whole thing. He told that he needed 4 hrs (that time was 1:52 PM) since he has to contact Chennai office. I waited upto 6PM in the evening. I also gave him a mail intimating the same. At 6 o clock again I rang him and he informed me that the mail was sent from the branch by Cosmic Courier (AWB: 109657 dated 30.5.13) and the mail was delivered on 3rd June, 2013. I asked him to send the scanned document of that acknowledgement slip duly signed on that date. He told that last day evening it was not possible since that courier office is closed, next day morning (that means today)he will definitely send it. Today in the morning again I rang him and asked him when he will send it. I felt that he is a kind o[censored]nhappy with my question and gave the answer "it is not possible for me to give the answer, when it will come I will give it send it to you by mail only". His approach was like that as if I have done something wrong by making a call to him. That means he is not at all customer friendly. At around 1:10 PM today only another person from that Patia office(whose name is probably Debashish) called me from his no [protected] informing me that I can talk with that courier company delivering the mail to Chennai office for confirmation. I asked Mr Debashish why I will call that courier company? I also asked him why you are not sending the scanned copy of that acknowledgement slip? What is the problem? He could not give me any satisfactory answer. I also asked him "Tell Mr Parida, your branch manager to call me". But till now he did not show this minimum  courtesy to call me back. Another thing I have noted that whenever I gave any mail to him he has not shown any minimum courtesy to acknowledge that also. His way of talking is also a kind of rude because I can convey his statements to you but I cannot convey his attitude at that moment. All these things indicate that intentionally he likes to harass the customers. If he cannot serve the purpose he could directly tell me that it is beyond his capability, but he has no authority to make harassed simply by keeping me waited for more than 17-18 hrs. I thinks he is a intelligent lier. The staff member (Mr Debashis) wanted to to know that from where I have got this news "you have not given any hard copy of application for the issue of a duplicate credit card"? As if I have given them the wrong information yesterday. I asked him "ok now I have to inform this thing, the total miscommunication to MD of HDFC bank". 

                Yes I know that your contribution to the Indian banking system is beyond any comparison since now HDFC means a word of faith and dependency. You have come to this position by sacrificing so many things, but are your staff members are aware of that? I think they are only happy with their handsome salary packet at the end of month. I think they have forgotten this simple philosophy that if customers are not there they are also value less and yes the satisfaction of each and every customer is the prime concern. Since the satisfaction of one customer can help bringing another ten customers, the simple logic of business world. 

                I will go abroad very soon. So I do not know how I will accept the new credit card if it does not reach me before Saturday!! I think I should not use the HDFC credit card anymore because in the market there are thousand and one good banks who also offer this credit card facility.

                Another thing I also want to mention out that a couple of days back I also sent a mail to bank card email id requesting the delivery of the duplicate card. But they also did give no reply till date which is surprising to me.

                If you want I can put forward all the previous mails sent to different email ids related to HDFC for you kind verification.

                Still now I keep 100% faith on the highest authority of HDFC bank since I believe that the name "Aditya Puri" is enough in India. I know this name is the other name of faith and clarity among the Indian bank customers. I hope the solution will come out.

                  Dear Sir,

                  I am regular user of Card no.[protected]. I have received a monthly statement for the m/o July 2011 dt.21-08-11.In this billRs.923.00 is levied against finance charges & Rs.500/- late fee unnecessarily.I have deposited cheque always before 5th days of due date.But finance charge is levied .When I contact with your costomer care centre Iwas told that your Date of Birth is not match .So enquiry is not possible.

                  This is totally harassment by your bank.I was told that send proff of D.O Bby post.
                  Finally I am not going pay any other charges except purchase.
                  I hope that you will go through my grievances sympathetically and revert the charge whichover I can pay actual amount.
                  Hoping your favorable response so that our long relationship would not end bitterly,
                  Otherwise I will raise the issue on other available forums.

                    I am a customer of HDFC Ltd. I have taken a loan a year before. So far I have experiance with HDFC Ltd is not bad. But in terms of transparency with their customer HDFC Ltd is the worst (so far I came accross in comparison with other banks).

                    HDFC Ltd will charge fees for part repayment through net banking. The internet site of customer account in hdfc.com does not disclose the principal outstanding. They do not disclose the principal outstanding with what interntion is doubtful.

                    Please escalate this issue.

                      Hi,

                      My a/c no. is 12486391 and my a/c was lapsed due to non payment since July 2011. I am currently residing in Canada and before coming here I had submitted a new ECS form with my new bank information to your branch in Andheri (E). Inspite of completing all the formalities the ECS never kicked in and my a/c was lapsed the first time. I had to ask my brother to follow up with your branch with all the documents and everything was suppose to be fixed. We made a payment of Rs10000/- and it was revived. This time around it is lapsed again and when I called your customer service to check on it I was told that the ECS did not go thru b'coz of signature mismatch. I have 2 frustrating points to complaint about,

                      1. How come your bank woke up to process my ECS now and not when I had actually submitted it in April 2011. As now I am in Canada and I cannot do much about it.

                      2. I called up twice at your customer service spoke with Rene & Jyoti to make the payment for July & Aug. They both gave me different directions of payment and none of them worked. So my question to you guys is do you not train your reps with the right information? Why are they not guiding me properly so I can make my payment online and have my account revived? I am now stuck again and basically don't know how I shld make this payment online. I have tried the Revival option from My Account and nothing happens (as directed by Jyoti) I also tried the Payment option from the Customer Service link of your Home page and even that doesn't help.

                      Pls help me with the above or else I will have this escalated to the next level. It would be nice if I can deal with one person who can guide me appropriately and help me set up the payment method on my a/c.

                            Ir i have booked ticket on irctc railway site for my bank of baroda atm debit card using hdfc gateway payment option, and i have now cancelled my ticket on 23 and today is 29 august till now i have not recived my refund back. My transaction id was -[protected], [protected], [protected]. When i called irctc care center they told me this is usually happing with the use of hdfc bank gateway payment option on irctc, this has happened with me in past also. Why hdfc is doing so, if there system have been off then they should hire some good person or they should close the bank, really i will now think 100 times to open a account in hdfc, worst service, icici is much better than it. I am wasting my time in getting my refund back. I have to again go to bank of baroda then i have take the statement then i have to mail it to irctc, it really sucks, if any time hdfc looks on my complain plz reslove ur matter aur close ur bank and go to hell.

                            really hdfc sucks.this bank should be closed by rbi,
                            agress.HDFC sucks, even for booking irctc tickets.Never ever use it.

                                SIR,i am having a saving account no.[protected] at chowk,patna city branch at patna since the branch origien.i have gone through a heart surgery few months ago and implanted a pace maker.due to this reasion, i couldnt operate my account and it got locked.your branch manager told me to deposit Rs.100/- to restart my s/b a/c.i deposited the amount on 09/06/2011,but my account is still locked.again i contected the branch they said that they have lost the paying slip.so i provided him the receiveing along with another application on 26/08/2011 to do me the favour.now again the branch manager is calling me at branch which i cant do as your branch is on third floor and my doctor has not suggested me to use stairs.my staff did all the above procedure,but my a/c is still locked.i am 69years old and a senior citizen dont you think that the branch manager should send his staff to me for the prosses as the staff came to while opening the a/c.what kind of behaveiour is this to the customer.                                   I worked in HDFC Life Insurance co for 1 year , With the statement of Company going to downsize of company and we are closing branches ask for resignation in group.
                                  I left co in the month og Sep 2010 and apply for PF but after so many followups in writing with lot of reminders Co is not taking any action till date i have not receive PF .
                                  Pls guide me what action can i take ? where can i log my complaint ? I need my money badly.Pls Help.

                                      Dear Sir/Madam

                                      I applied for housing loan eligibility and approval from HDFC bank. For that Bank has checked the document from the house builder & not found rajachithhi/permission from municiple authorities. Builder has assured me that same is under process and will obtain the permission soon from municiple corporation. Based on this HDFC has tentively approved my loan of of 21,60,000 INR with out taking any housing documents and took the processing fees of around 10000 INR(When I got the bank tentative loan approval,I haven't booked my house even).

                                      While giving tentative approval letter, I asked HDFC representative that in case I don't go with HDFC bank for loan & if cancel my application, bank will return full processing fees.

                                      I decided to cancel my loan with bank,which was not even firmed with back up documents. The loan approval was just piece of paper.

                                      I just inquired with bank representative that how to cancel the loan(It was just inquiry) , and next day bank representative gave me cancelled loan check with half processing fees returned.I was shocked. when I inquired with bank official,this is new rule implemented. I said that it's mentioned nowhere in my letter & they say we bound by rule.

                                      I have to loose 5000 INR for just piece of paper,which was given to me before I booked house & deduction clause was nowhere mentioned in the tentative loan approval letter. Bank representative assured me full return of processing fees,in case I cancel loan.

                                      Even I filed on-line complain with bank (Complain No : HBL=[protected] Dated 28/12/2010) I haven't got any response to that.

                                      HDFC bank should stop giving fake assurance to its customers. It's matter of trust which I am loosing on bank.

                                      I request consumer court to intervene & resolve the issue.

                                        I had a two wheeler loan from HDFC bank. I cleared all the EMIs about 3 years ago. But till date i did not received NOC for my Hero Honda bike with Registration No.
                                        HR-51-Z 4496. Sir, now these days i have some financial problems and after getting the NOC i want to sell the bike to any other person. But for non available of NOC, i can’t sell that one. Please help me to get my NOC of my bike from HDFC bank and also please direct the HDFC bankers for providing me the NOC at the earliest possible.
