Deduction of Charges

I have a corporate salary account with HDFC bank, when i was working with Tata Aig Life Insurance Co. as Businees Manager. I left the job in July,2008 and thereafter my salary is not being transfered into my salary account. My account was operating as a Salary account even after that for more than one and a half year. Then HDFC bank has started deducting Non-Maintenance Charges of Average Quarterly Balance in my account. They didn't...

I live and work in Gurgaon I own an HDFC bak credit card.I am a regular pay master but for last two months couldnt pay my monthly installments on time. I have been getting regular phone calls from this person who says himself Praveen Kataria from the recovery department. He has started calling my work place too and abuses whoever picks up the phone.
He threatens me for life.I filed a complaint on customecareservices.[protected]@hdfcbank.com
but havent got any call till yet.
Please look in to the matter and help me out with this un professional behavior .

I want to upgrade my existing credit card no xxxx xxxx xxxx 9378 to Signature card, with the enhance limit of Rs100000.00(One Lac only ), since myself is in need of same after one yr of regular use of the card at premium card level.

    This is in reference to the transaction made into my account without intimating me by hdfc bank.

    An amount of Rs 827.25 has been debited on 19th July 2011 from my HDFC salary account [protected], mentioning about 'DEPOSITORY CHARGES JUN[protected]' on demat account. I have used this account only once in the last year this was to be a life time free demat account.

    When the account was given to me it was told that it would be absolutely free.

    This is clear exploitation of customers.

    I called the Cusotmer Care they want me to personally go to the malad HDFC BANK and talk for it, they dint even register a complain for this with them.

      I applied for personal loan and my application is logged in[protected].On[protected]Saturday),I got a call from executive and told me that my loan is got approved and they need 8 check leaves and loan agreement to be signed.Then Monday[protected] again they called and told me that my loan is rejected.How come the approved loan got rejected on very next day.Why you people are cheating customers and wasting their time.And nobody is capable of explaining the reason why it got rejected.They are just reading whatever appeared in their screen and just telling they dont know what it means.Some how I came to know that,it is because of I am not staying with my family.I am staying in a rented flat.Not in PG.Those things are communicated properly in beginning itself with them.If that is an issue then they could have told it that time itself.I specifically asked about this because I got response from other bank that they are not able to give if I am not staying with family.But this people told me that that is not issue.I called customercare and they are telling they cannot help,contact executives.IF THEY CAN"T HELP THEN WHY THEY ARE GIVING CUSTOMERCARE SERVICE????For last 2 years I am using HDFC bank acocunt and now I am going to stop everything with HDFC BANK.These people are expert in cheating customers.I am not expecting any miracle from them because they are doing the same thing all the time.

        I am akhilesh shukla purchase HDFC mutual fund on 18 Mar 2008 against FOLIO No 4750530/38 , now I had deposited the same for the redemption on 19 July 2011 at their Lucknow Branch.

        After that I talked to their costomer care on 22 July but they not provided any information to me.

        Than I mailed to them on 22 July for asking the detials but till date they not answering me mail, just auto response mail revert against my mail, Four times I had given them mail, but no body resposing me.

        It is requested please personally interven in the matter and short out so that I can get my fund back.

          I had taken personal loan from HDFC Bank for 1.2 lakhs for 36 months. I had paid more then 33 EMI.Due to financial problems, i am not able to make payment for another three EMI.

          Bank Agent is calling to my office phone and started shouting for paying the rest of my EMIs, When i am trying to expalining him my

          financial problems, he is not even understanding my situaion, he his shouting in wild sound and repeating same words again and

          agian. And he is telling that he will come to my office and ask for dues.

              I have my HDFC loan since 2000 , I was regularly making my EMI payment previously through post dated cheques and later Online Payment , Since last two years they all of sudden Stop my online payment and after repeated emails to them they said you can't make online payment as it is difficult for our Account Department to reconcile the account. After repeted requested they started the service and send me an Email that you have to pay extra Rs. 50 for every Online Payment. This is Horiable....Any other customer of HDFC has the same problem ...Whole world prefer online payment with security and fastest process and this Company try to Still Money for online payment.....That is horiable.......I need some HELP even though my loan is getting over i am putting it here so other customer can raise their Voice against this Day time stilling.....looking for some solution..........

                My mobile number is changed at two months back. And I went to the Ongole Branch,Prakasam District and requested for change the mobile number for insta alerts The Office Staff asked me to fill a form.
                I did submit all the forms and Staff was told the change will reflect in 5 working days. It's been more than a month and still insta alerts are not come to my mobile number and situation is same. And I put a complaint in online complaint form (Reff No.'HBL=[protected]') but still no change.
                I can't believe the bank is so irreponsible

                  Before 2 or 3 years i have working with a BPO. they have provide me a HDFC Bank A/C. after left the company I went to Kerala. in the month of may i came back hear. sir I m a student & i cant bear this kind of charges. in the starting of July Month i called to HDFC Customer Care & they told to me Account is Activate, i can use this normally, there is no any single charges i have to pay. they didn't told me about A/C converted or AQD. when i got satisfy answer from customer care, My uncle who is working with Riya Arts' Company, I borrowed from him 3000/- rs. & deposited into my account without any hesitation. but on 19/07/2011, my all amount has been deducted in the name of AQD ( Rs. 827.00 three times & Rs. 528.00/- One times). sir plz i m student, u can inquire this, i cant bear this kind of loss of money. plz refund this into my account.Its a Request Sir, Please.                     I am pardeep singh employee code no. cp11538 ,i want to inform the higher authorties of HDFC bank that i have worked for this bank for 16 months , and i resigned on 2nd march 2011 by a written letter to miss Anjali Batheja because My senior Nipun kumar and Nitin kumar were not present in the bank and they told me that i 'll get my leaving letter later on ,At 19th,march2011 they terminated me even i have submitted my resign .and i came to know about my termination after two months when i went there to get my experiance certificate and that time i was told that i had been terminated when i asked them why i did not get my termination letter they replied that it's sent to my ex team leader Harjinder singh then i collected my letter from him , i know that why they did this to me because i used to pay 2000 per month my seniors Nipun kumar and Nitin kumar as i was told by them that i don't need to come bank evryday if i pay 2000 to them , after 10 months i stopped giving them 2000 money from my salary ,that's the reason they fraud with me regarding my resign , in adding to , they used to train me like if i am not able to open 6 accounts i can open my friends account with my own money with alot of money as i will get more insentive , on 1st march two gold loans were brought by me of surinder singh and shanky dhiman but both were transferred to any other code and , i did not get my insentive 1200, and my PF is 19200 but i recieved only 13400 ,it has mentioned in my termination letter that i 'll get one extra salary but i havn't recieved it yet , i request you to let me know regarding my PF and pending salary , and i request you that Nipun kumar and Nitin kumar should be punished so that they can't ruin any other employees career and they should be replaced by other honest and responsible officers so that Banks may progress more and have good image among people

                      Hello Sir/Mam,

                      I am holding a HDFC Bank credit card since 2007. Card No.4346xxxxxxx1506. I have been making the regular minimum payment last 3 years.
                      but last year I lost my job and I am not able to pay any amount since 6 month.after That I receive call for settlement from HDFC collection Dept. Delhi.
                      person name Mr.RAVI and I agry to pay settlement amount (22000) in 2500 rupees EMI . I have been making the regular EMI (2500/) payment but last
                      month June2011. My Grandfather died in my village And Thats why I am not present in pune not able to transfer emi because in my hometown (Deolgaon raja)
                      have no HDFC branch.After That in this month July 2011. The big bang now is that they freezed my HFDC account and all the money in the account is blocked now.
                      not giving any intimations for the installments delays. MY family are really having big trouble with this situation.I have already pay 14500/- of total settlement amount (rupees 22000/).
                      my only 3 EMI (7500/) remain so Request you consider this on sympathy ground.I want release my HDFC salary account no.022xxxxxxx1829.holding amount 16306/- rupees.

                      Hope HDFC will go through this.
                      1. I want to Pay the rest of the pending Installments in one shot .
                      2. Request you consider this on sympathy ground.
                      3. Our lives freezed as you people freezed our HDFC savings Account.
                      4. If you block the money in our account, how can we make the payment? we are fine if you take away the rest of pending amount of the settlement from our bank account..but HDFC deny this.
                      5. Why no one called during these 2 months.? and suddenly freezed the account before calling us?
                      6. Why they freezed our account when our account has a good balance , why not when it having a low balance?
                      7. Actual settlement amount 22000 , our statement analysis shows we have payed more than What I have used...and now still they want 51000 from me.
                      I requesting to you please help me ,in this matter.

                      what I can do for release my salary account?

                        While taking the policy i was not informed by HDFC Ergo that there would be 3 months waiting period and then 1 month survival period..... when i have received the letter and all the cards and insurance information then i came to know about the waiting period of 3 months. I have taken 2 policy with them and i have also requesteed them to cancel my policy on 31st May 2011, still date only 1 policy is been cancelled as per their timelines....... but for the policy # 50732889 and the ref #[protected] it is still not been cancelled by them..... despite calling them several times but no response from them at all.....I spoke to sujeta on 7 June and then Kushal on 15 July and Avinash on 19 July...... every time getting the different information....... I am really tired of calling them asking for the payment....... they always say that we will follow up and do the outbound call but the last call i received was on 6 June only............

                        Please help me for getting my money back from them.... I have all the proofs as every time i am sending en email to them and not receiveng any response on that email...

                          When I accidentally checked my account statement, I found a Rs.827 withdrawal without prior update. The transaction is narrated as "DEPOSITORY CHARGES".

                          I had a demat account with HDFC in last year, and I have closed it 6 months back. I guess HDFC is simply robbing my money from account with reference to the closed DEMAT account.

                          When I called Customer care, they were fooling me

                          FIRST TIME:
                          The lady forwarded to Automatic system. Which said that they already withdraw Rs.827 from my account. That's it. But I didn't get the reply to my questions

                          SECOND TIME:
                          The lady told me to go and contact bank branch. They say that these information cannot be checked by a customer care.

                          A customer care executive cannot say a word about my last transaction, which is readily available through automatic system on a button click... LOL

                            I have salary account with hdfc bank on 18th jully in my account the Rs-220.60 has been deducted regarding this ADHOC STMT CHGS INCL ST & CESS and i took the statement for opening demat account when i am taking this statement i have asked them what is charge for 6 months statement, then they told it is charge for 110 rupees & but they debited 220 ruppes

                            HDFC bank didn't issue Statement and any Passbook by which customer can keep update his own transaction book with banks statement. even bank did not any statement(free) for the taxation purpose.For account statement they charge Rs.100 each time. By this way bank charges extra to the customers.

                              I am an NRI customer and had secured a home loan from HDFC bank thinking that they are a reputed bank and I would expect to receive an excellent customer service. But I am gutted with the Level of Customer service I have received till date. It all started when I had some queries regarding my account and had written to the customer service team in October 2010. Since they could not answer all my queries, I was requested to send my queries to the Branch Manager to Mr Sameer Sharma. So I wrote to him with all my queries in October 2010 & February 2011, but he did not have any courtesy to reply back to my emails.

                              This year again during my visit to India, on 28 May 2011 I personally visited the Branch. As Mr Sharma was busy attending new customers and least bothered for existing customers, so I met Ms Beena and she wasn’t that helpful as I thought. Below is the conversation I had with her:

                              My First question was regarding change of interest rate and to my surprise she asked me that If I am going to pay that difference money now? That was a ridiculous question to ask, did that mean that if I was not going to pay that money, then I have no right to ask her that question and was wasting her time?.

                              I did also ask here regarding Mr Sharma not replying to me for the past 6 months for my queries and she replied that we hardly get time to look into emails and we are very busy? I would request HDFC to please remove the entire email id’s from your website as your staff are to busy to look into it.

                              She said that since Mr Nimkar had handled my case she will try to send an email to the operations team and also brief Mr Nimkar when he returns back on Monday. Then she wrote an email to the operations team on an urgent basis and informed us that she should get an update by Tuesday i.e. 31 May 2011. I am not sure whether she really wrote that email or was she just trying to fob us off.

                              Then I requested her to call me back with an update on the outcome of the email and gave her my mobile number. To my surprise again she replied that I have 10 different things to remember and we have just 1 thing to remember, so call me on Tuesday to get an update. Now that was really shocking, how could she say such a thing? Isn’t it is her duty to follow-up on my queries and let me know the outcome of it. So basically she refused to call me back.

                              Then as soon as we finished our conversation she did something unexpected, she said “Puooh”. Now that was really rude of her. What was that for, is that how you treat your customers and she was happy that we left?

                              Not to my surprise, as expected I did not receive any call from Ms Beena, so I had called their office @ 3.15pm trying to get an update, but I was informed that she was on lunch, so I left my name, number and account number with the receptionist and requested for a call back on Urgent basis and I was waiting for a call from your the Office until my departure from Mumbai i.e. 5 June 2011.

                              I think that reputed banks maintain their Business ethics and standards, but looks like all of those standards and ethics are being overlooked and not being practically adhered. Mr Sharma also did not address all my concerns raised in my complain to him and conveniently ignored carelessness and behavioural issue in all his replies. He also ignored my request of 20 June 2011, to provide me the Head Office and Ombudsman complaints procedure, as I was not happy with the way my complaint was being dealt.

                              I am still await a reply to my email of 26 June 2011 for the above matter from Mr Sharma HDFC Virar Branch. I don’t think that I would be recommending HDFC bank to any of my NRI colleagues as my experience was good enough for others to learn.

                                Myself Rajeev Bahuguna.I am having an account with HDFC bank Central Market Punjabi Bagh NewDelhi-26 since last 10 years,.my acc no-[protected].i have made several cheque book request through ATM & Netbanking between december 2010 to june 2011.In between i have also called up customer care they told me i will get cheque book with in a week,but all was invain .as i have not got cheque book till date.my last cheque book request was on 24 june 2011 & request no-4492A0.i am very much disappointed.Now i am not able to make any transcation.today also i have called customer care my complaint no-049073.
                                I want cheque book as soon as possible.
                                if there is any issue to continue my account then inform me i will close my account very soon.

                                Dear sir i had recived the sms from hdfc bank your cheque has dispached , and reference no also

                                Sir/ Madam,
                                I have a savings account at the Sion branch of HDFC Mumbai.My husband also has a similar account. We have been identified as classic customers.
                                Recently it took me a week to get a new cheque book. You do not issue cheque books at the banks but insist on mailing it to our residence by courier. We are both working (Doctors )—there is no one at home to receive the courier parcel .After the first courier visit –he left a -- I missed you note . I called up the courier company right away and gave him details of my neighbour to whom he could hand over the parcel the next day. I had left authorization note, identity card etc with my neighbour –but the courier person did not turn up for the next three days –citing the reason that he was short staffed! I literally had to call him daily enquiring about his impending visit.
                                I find this exasperating – I cannot understand why I cannot get a simple item like a cheque book from the bank itself like so may other banks. Moreover we both opened accounts here at the neighbourhood bank since at that time they used to work on Sundays and it was convenient for both o[censored]s. Ofcourse promptly after that the bank changed its schedule to a regular week day working!
                                I do not find any of the services customer friendly at all .
                                I trust you will pay due attention to genuine problems.

                                last more than 3 years i have been used HDFC bank i never got any problem , i am very sorry to say that your branch Patna Rajendra ram plaza exhibition road services are very worst condition . when my cheque book was finish ,i was applied in our nearest hdfc bank last 5 month i am waiting for our cheque book till now i am suffer i haven;t resived any check book so many time i call and e-mail too in your employee Mr.vivekanand Jha relationship manager he always given me wrong information never given me good respond ,so lastly i have decided i send them e-mail to you ,i hope you will be given me good respond to me

                                  Hi,
                                  I took HDFC Titanium credit card last month,after one month i got a message saying that you need to pay 274 rs as membership fee. I got the bill also, In the bill they have mentioned that as membership Fee of 274. I called the customer care executive and told the same thing they told me that it is annual Fee for the Titanium card ,and they told like. I have to pay that 274 now and after using the card for 10,000 with in 3 months that amount will return(274) back to me..But I have to pay the annual fee of rs 250 if I did not use the card for 10,000 with in 3 months.

                                  can you tell me what to do?

                                    To open a new establishment's proprietorship current account the HDFC Bank is strictly demending the cheque payment for the initial AQB deposit and voilating the RBI guidelines.

                                    I have submitted all the necessary documents required by the bank along with the duly filled form in HDFC Banks Peeragarhi Delhi branch on 04th July 2011 But they people have not opened my account till today nor they have returned my documents back even I have personally visited the banks branch as many as 6 times I have also drop two letters in regards of the matter in the branch's complaint n suggestion box but not received any reply
                                    They people are telling me that they will not open my account unless n until I will give them the initial amount required to be maintained as AQB through cheque only either from any of my savings or current account They people are misleading the facts by stating that these are KYC norms of RBI that no current account should be open through cash deposit of initial AQB
                                    You are requested to please intervene in the matter and state that weather it is mandatory to give a cheque of initial AQB amount at the time of opening the current account or it is just a malpractice adopted by the bank
                                    And if it is mandatory then you are also requested to please take such measures so that the bank should return my documents along with a letter stating the specific reason behind non opening of account as soon as possible because already 12 days has been passed.
                                    Is necessary to maintain aqb in private sector bank ? why RBI allow such type of thing to private bank .why do not aqb in gov sector bank. please control this. rules and regulation is equal for every one.because we are indian and bigest republic in this world.

                                    I think RBI sure takes nesseary action against this blgure gimic of private
