Here is another finding
- As mentioned earlier, on 10th of Dec 2021, the account was short of 119 rupees. In this case, neither HDFC bank limited or HDFC limited could proceed with the EMI payment making my account balance as -119. which could have easily been recovered as this is a salary account.
-On 21st December 2021. there was an ACH debit return charges. I believe this was by HDFC limited. In this case both parties happily put my account balance to negative to process this.
So HDFC and HDFC bank did not want to help the customer. Instead of creating a minor negative balance that benefits the customer, They can only do it for a bigger amount that completely work's against the
customer.
Thanks to the terms and conditions that I accepted. I understand this can never be solved, but just want anyone reading though to know that its strictly business only. Customer service is only applicable within a frame and not outside that.
And another bitter truth that I realized is that, its hard for an immediate switch of the accounts, and ever harder in covid time. Will be stuck as an unhappy customer HDFC home loan customer for a while, But definitely is looking out on a longer run. It is fairly easy to switch your salary and personal loan account, which is in process.
