I have applied for idea post prepaid connection. from My idea gallery At.post shikrapur tahsil.Shirur Dist.Pune .Maharashtra.412208.i have paid my post unbilled amt on 28th sep'2016 'as per intrusion by My idea gallery person.but idea post paid sim card service disabled on 1st Oct'2016.today 05.10.2016 date till time & date idea cellular was not connected my prepaid Sim card????.
i have contact to my idea gallery owner but he was not answer the proper my problem not responding.he was saying some time please wait 5 to 10 working days.
plz replay me regards where i have contact.

As per the idea telecaller told me that they will provide me the call rates 25p/min (std or local)for lifetime validity. but after port my number from vodafone to idea i did not get the call rates and validity as per the discussion.

    I am Bibekananda Tandia & my Idea mobile number is [protected]. I am a customer from Odisha circle. I had received 60 local minutes from idea gift offer on date 23 September 2016. But my account was only credit 30 minutes. I had received sms at 14:48 from IO-IDEA on Dt 23 October. I had raised a complaint through Facebook Idea official page. One of idea representive called me from telephone number [protected] at 16:49 on Dt 27 September 2016. She requested me to send a screen shot copy of issue/gift message to [protected]@idea.aditybirla.com . So I had sent email to idea. I have prove of email copy but one associate called me on Date 01 October 2016 at 18:02 from telephone number [protected]. She said to me I was not send email to idea. I said I was sent and I have proved of email copy . But she didn't belive and agree with me and guide to send once again. I thought one of Idea representive has ignore or deleted my mail. I thought Idea to take more time to solve the small problem.

    Once again as per telephone number [protected] conversation I had sent both of screen shots copy one is offer message and second is email copy which mail i was sent to idea for investigation on Dt 01 October 2016. But idea did not reply/mail me till 5 October.


    I had received a call from telephone number [protected] on Dt 4 October at 04:44 pm. Customer service associate said me to she will call back within 4 hrs. But she didn't call me.

    So I decided to highlight this fraud/Cheater service IDEA complaint matter to Consumer court.

      My wife's idea postpaid connection was registered for autopay in my HDFC account. I want to convert that postpaid connection into prepaid so I paid billing amount on 19 July 2016. But, due to some technical reason same amount INR 1, 466.50 was auto pay by my bank also.

      I visited Idea care at Sant Eknath Rang Mandir, Osmanpura, Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Customer representative told me that, we will refund you by cheque.

      After few days I again visited Idea care for refund update and that CSR told me that you need to wait for 60 days.

      Till date, I did not receive any refund. Recently, Again I visit that Idea care. Now that CSR telling me that to send an email to idea customer care.


      They also charge me additional some amount and refund amount is now less than INR 1, 466.50.

      Actually, they don't have a track of my refund. Completely crap.

      Initially, I had 8 idea postpaid connection and almost all converted to prepaid due to this third class service.

      Last month I was planning to convert existing 2 postpaid connections into prepaid. After paying billing amount I visited Idea care and CSR told me that no prepaid card available now, wait for 4 to 5 days. I told him to take my request to convert and he told me that he can't.

      They take almost one week to convert postpaid to prepaid. This is again BS and they charge rental for that processing period.

      Idea communication is worst telecommunication service I ever found.

          Please provide me my mobile call detailed statement from 19-Sep16 till 04-Oct-16 on my registered email id.
          Since in am fearing that my mobile no has been misused for doing the fraud Internet banking transactions(Money Transfer) which I have not done, my SMS's has been hacked, the URN/OTP which was generated during this fraud transaction on 02-Oct-16 2.46 am till 5.19 am from VK-ICICIB and DM-ICICIB on my mobile number was used by the hacker has been used to do this fraud transactions. Also I had received sms's from the unknown mobile no [protected] from 12.26 am to 5.51 am also through which these fraud transaction has been initiated. Please provide me the details of this mobile no.
          Please help me in provide me urgently with the detailed log files along with call statement for the period mentioned which i have to provide to Cyber crime cell for registering the case of Hacking/Phising.
          Also will request to get my mobile no tested from your network security cell whether is this number is still hacked or with any potential threat.

            I am user of idea mobile number [protected]. The mobile connection is a postpaid number.
            In april2016 i was using rs. 599.00+tax plan, then, i changed my plan to rs. 1, 299.00+tax for the month of may 2016. Then again i changed my rental plan to rs. 1599.00+taxes. All these change was made when customer care executive of idea cellular called me and i gave them only oral confirmation.
            That, the existing plan postpaid plan was with monthly rental of rs.1, 599.00 +tax rs. 201.00= rs.1, 800.00 (Rs one thousand eight hundred only) with effect from 07may2016 for which bill was generated in month of june2016.
            That, i want to change the rental plan from rs.1, 599.00 to rs 199.00. I requested customer care executive (Who called me) to change the rental plan in middle of may 2016. On making such request i was said “if change the rental plan in middle of monthly billing cycle then i would have to bear the cost of both plan i. E. Rs.1, 599.00 and rs.199.00 simultaneously for same month” instead of pro rata basis. Despite being unfair i agreed for the same and requested him to make it effective from next billing which was 07june2016 and record the same in your system. I believed the customer care executive as earlier my plan was changed without my written consent thus i trusted idea cellular.
            But, my plan was not changed deliberately by the idea cellular co. On 7th of june 2016. I the bill in toto on 22nd june 2016. Then i stopped using the said mobile number and sent an e-mail at ccare. [protected]@idea. Adityabirla.com which was obtained from http://www.ideacellular.com/customer-care/need-help/idea-office-locations#upw
            Then, again i forwarded the e-mail for change of plan on 10th july2016 on [protected]@idea. Adityabirla.com which was duly delivered but they did not change my monthly postpaid plan.
            It is to be noticed that instead of changing my plan, my mobile number was deactivated permanently in july2016 by the idea cellular but they continued to bill me for the services which i never availed that too at very exorbitant rate. I refused to pay unless my bill is rationalised. As, i am willing to pay the charges/bill at rs. 199.00 rental plan till the date of deactivation of my mobile number.
            On my stand they continuously harassing me by calling me 5-6 times every day and using inappropriate words and demeaning language, they even threatened me.
            Sir/ma’am i pray you to look into the matter and defend me against such evil tactics of a mighty mnc in the name of justice and good conscience.

              I am having cash card connection [protected] from the number i was receiving missed call from 5300123 like numbers from 3-4 days when i dial this number a computerised tone cam efrom pandit jee i disconnected the phone at 9.30 am now i got the msg that rs 7/- per week pack is activated on my no. Without my consent i made msg to 155223 to stop but no deactivation is done. I dont want any pack on my phone but the company is forcely deducted rs 7/- for a week and renewal will be automated.

              So please stop this type of fradulent activation of packs without our consent.

                Last week, on 23.9.16, i have received a msg that i can activate for local calls at the rate of 30 paise for 30 days for charging 39 rupees.
                I have done, but the benefit has not been activated...
                I have registered a complaint and send email to [protected]@idea. Adityabirla.com,... But no use...

                Again today [4.10.16], i have received the same msg and i have activated.
                My balance of 89 rupees have gone... But the benefit has not been activated.
                If i am not getting proper response, i have decided to quit from idea services..
                I have to use some other better service such as vodafone etc..

                I need voice customer service to talk about my issue..
                Otherwise i will drop your service.

                    My number ([protected]) was deactivated without prior information on 1 oct 2016. No notification about this was provided to me. According to customer care it was terminated due to telemarketing activity which is absurd because i've been using this number as a personal number for last 8 years. Customer care didn't have any explanation about to whom and when telemarketing calls were made (Because i haven't made any telemarketing calls, all calls were made to numbers i've been calling regularly for past few years.) i had balance of around rs 50 which was also usurped by the company in this act of harassment. I've been facing may problems due to this sudden termination of number. Kindly correct and reactivate the number asap.

                        I am raising a complaint today dated[protected] regarding my mobile no [protected] which is deactivated by you without any intimation as well as my credit limit on postpaid is rs. 600 only and without intimating in due course of time and credit limit, you raised the extra charges for my bill account no.[protected] due to 055315 vas no. Calling.
                        Upon receiving my bill on date 02-oct-2016 extra amount on my bill. I. E.1638/- out of rs.1965.00 charged by you. This call is not made by my side. I request you to waived off these charges. Also, from few days my calling service were deactivated.

                        Please waive off and activate my postpaid service. I need the solution on this as soon as possible please resolve this on high priority.

Surya ([protected]) from hyderabad given wrong promises and collected rs1640 money, and also original documents of adhar card on 26th of oct. But up to now i didn't get my original aadhar card and even i didn't get broadband connection also.                                 I am not satisfied with my recent billing cycle of 5425.03 for postpaid idea no. [protected].
                                Orry to state but when customer care was contacted, it was informed that on 25th of september some facility has been activated by customer, for which they are charging 3225.56. And the customer has to pay for the money. I had ported this number from vodafone anticipating good customer services, but this is something different, where i am feeling myself being fleeced of my money.

                                I have been customer of your company since long and so had been several of my boys. This kind of experience where i am feeling like duped, it is not digestible.

                                kindly look into my billing issue and revert back to me. otherwise, i have made my mind of not continuing with this number further.

                                Idea need to train this guy as how to talk. His way of talk was full of arrogance and nonsense, why do you employ such people without proper training in customer care?

                                please dont call if you have arrogant people in your command line to solve the issue.

                                My mail is with you guys. It would be appreciable if you guys communicate me through mail.
                                One thing is clear, you guys have wrongly charged me.
                                i999 plan can be double at the maximum if modified but not as you have charged.
                                it is requested kindly mail me in detail.
                                so that i can take up the matter for settlement outside this forum in other consumer places.
                                I dont see Idea solving this issue.

                                it is hard to understand that why Idea didnt inform by mail or message that they are going to charge on pro rata basis. your customer service associate on fourth october informed that it is the company policy that any change by the customer of i999 plan will go on pro rata data charges. This fact may be known to the company and those who are formulating such policy.
                                But why Idea didnt inform that to customer by a message or mail. Even when other promotional details are being sent by idea through mail and message.

                                Please revert back with what is being done with my case, so that i can plan for my next course of action.

                                As per pro rata calculation free benefit for the above mentioned pack for 23 days was 2649600 KB.

                                However, you have consumed 3455990 KB data during this period and overage usage of 806390 KB data had been charged at 4 paisa per 10KB.

                                I have few questions from the idea team.

                                Did any information was given to the customer i.e. to me for the levy of pro rata charges to the customer by any means by idea?

                                The executive who called me probably from higher up from idea hierarchy is not ready to consider my case. Who will consider this point that will a customer who is having the plan of i999 will consume just data charges of the tune of 3200? was it not the responsibility of the Idea to inform the same to the customer in between when this data was being levied?

                                I was not informed anytime about this issue, only when i received the bill, i get to know about pro rata charges.Is it the way of functioning of idea?

                                When in detail the matter was informed to the customer care executives, they are saying that customer should have contacted idea service? Is it only the responsibility of customer or idea also has got something to do?

                                I have been customer of idea since long and i didnt have any problem before. This is the first time I had a genuine problem and the response from idea is that of whatever the accounting department is doing that is right. This is pathetic and stubborn attitude.

                                I hope the team idea will take care of the points and will revert back to me with genuine bill.

                                  My number is [protected] and i am from Punjab. I purchased 4g plan of 6 gb for 945 rs from idea cellular website under 4g prepaid plan section. What i am got is 3g speed. Called customer car and they said that plan is not valid anymore. If its not valid how can they accept payment for the plan. Nonetheless, their website keep still showing 4g plans of 6 gb in 945. https://www.ideacellular.com/4g. The customer care is so irritating, they said to me on the first day when i started using this Internet that 4g is not working because I used all of my 6 GB data, this is most irritating to hear. Then later they said, plan is not valid and we are sorry and you will not get 4g and we cannot do anything, you can do whatever you want to. Height of shamelessness. I emailed the idea complaint center, but no reply.

                                  I use nearly 50, 000 rs worth of internet per year, this is how they treat a potential customer. I had just tried to check Idea's service, which I am never going to try again. I could have paid them 50, 000 rs per year for good service, but their back luck.

                                  I will stick to Airtel. Airtel gives 10 gb in 4g in 990 rs and 20 gb .in 1990 for 3 months. This is reality of Idea, charge too high than they deserve and still no service.

                                      I asked the idea company about this issue but they blaming on Jio nd Jio company blamng on idea.. In this situation where should I go and where should I resolve my problem..
                                      The maximum time for porting is 7days... But my sim porting time crossed 7th day, and presently it's 9th day
                                      So kindly I request consumer form to solve my problem

                                        Madam/ Dear Sir,

                                        I am using Idea Cellular Ltd Postpaid services with mobile no-[protected] and I have been recently transferred to JAEDDAH, Saudi Arabia for foreign assignment so I availed an international roaming pack of INR 599 from the captioned company for discounted international roaming charges and data uses before my departure to Saudi Arabia on 16.07.2016 under which I should have been charged Rs30/- per min for international outgoing calls and International roaming on incoming calls and Rs. 0.29/10KB for data uses. However, as per my itemised bill details I have been exorbitantly charged Rs 120/- to Rs130/- per min for any international incoming or outgoing call as well as for internet charges.

                                        Just two days after my visit I received a text message on 18.07.2016 cautioning me to pay a bill of Rs.23858/- to avoid barring a call and after few minutes my call was barred . I was shocked at the amount of bill which was beyond my financial limit to pay. I contacted several times to customer care of Idea Cellular Ltd through my relatives in India and the customer care executives were having no clue of why my services had been barred and I continued to suffer on my international trip.

                                        After several days of continuous follow up they were finally able to tells us to pay Rs. 8000/- for restoration of services. However somehow I managed to pay Rs. 8000 and my service was reinstated only on 20.07.2016 and same day I received the message to pay a bill of Rs.18718/- to avoid barring of call and again my services had been barred immediately.

                                        Later on in response to my e- mail dated 14.08.2016 the company replied only on 24.08.2016 that you have used the network of other company than our preferred network ''Mobily' and was the reason of such exorbitant call charges and charges for data uses.

                                        Firstly, the Idea Cellular ltd at no point of time cautioned or intimated me during my visit neither through an-e-mail or text message that I was using the services of the other company network which is not in their preferred network list and hence I was liable for standard call and data usage charges instead of discounted charges.

                                        Secondly, they barred my services during my international visit and hence put me in a very precarious position where I couldn't communicate to my family members and relatives for days and spoiled my whole trip.
                                        Then I approached the Appellate Authority, Punjab, Idea Cellular Ltd on 02.09.2016 and mailed them the whole matter and my grievance, but instead of redressing the complaint and giving a point wise reply they just wrote on 05.09.2016 that as the pack was applicable only for using "Mobily" services but I have used other networks so the charges are correct. I again approached them on 10.09.2016 to give me a point wise reply but again I got a mail from their side on 13.09.2016 writing the same old story.
                                        This company has harrassed me a lot firstly by barring my services without any prior information for a day or two then charging me a lot then by not responding to my mails quickly(my mails were responded after 10-12 days) then not giving me a point wise suitable reply to my complaint.
                                        Therefore, I request your goodself to kindly look into the matter and resolve my grievance at the earliest as the company has not intimated me anything regarding the services being used by me and charged me heavily.
                                        My this Idea Cellular no is still not working so please contact me on my alternate international number-[protected] or my family's number-[protected].
