I had an idea prepaid connection for last 4 years, recently I got a call from some idea marketing executive, saying that my number has been shortlisted for postpaid conversion(i.e. same number but postpaid) . I went ahead with offer. This offer was offered to me on 28th June, on 30th June some executive came to me & gave me a postpaid sim.

Now issues:
Postpaid sim hasn't got activated yet, that is even after 22 days.
i tried to connect the Retailer about the connection but they telling that The executive who took my id and cash , he left the job and gone to his native
Your prepaid customer care people says talk to post paid customer care & post paid customer care says they don't have any information on post-paid sim no.

    Respect sir/madam

    I am a customer of your good quality network my no [protected]has been
    temporarily stopped i have submitted the fulldocuments please kindly
    me note that what is the problems with documents. You have to note
    that this no was one more time was stoped and i submitted the
    documents. What is the system of your checking the documents because
    you always wanting the same documents again and again. The nos is
    right now is temporiraly on hold.Check my email on 18th april 2011.
    Please do the needful earliest as possible. My idea new nos is

      I have taken Idea netsetter around June 20th 2011 in Idea Show Room, Nizamabad. ( Opp: kapila hotel) Andhra Pradesh. I never got it worked. I almost went to this store daily to get it to working condition for 4 days, but in vain. I have never used it but payed Rs 1600 for instrument and 170 for first month bill and asked the dealer to discontinue my connection. Now I received another bill on my email address. [protected], sim no.[protected], has not been activated yet after submitting all documents on 12th july'11 & add. verification on 14th July'11. only making fool by giving stupid excuses and taking complain and promising to get back to me in 15 days. is it fair?? postpaid no. is being activated within 24hrs after add. verification. Just shameless !!

          Whome so it may ever concern, sir , i have purchased Idea internet modem. in the month of january 2011, the speed in the graph is very low; so that the page i have openning ,that page wil not going to open.
          hence i have givenvisited Idea head office . Ihave given complintes several times. no action is has beentaken from the Ideacellour company. My problem is still here. Whatshell I do ?

            Hi Sir,

            Since 3 days back my card was blocked by IDEA due to "invalid documents." I have already submitted all the documents as you required.

            Including my Diving license, Electricity Lite Bill, My photo, Pan card etc. I am submitted all my documents 2 times.

            1 time to retailer and second time in your Mulund IDEA customer care center Directly. but still my card is not active. what can i do....?

            is there any hope to active my card as soon as possible..? Also i am trying to contact at your customer care center via telephone.

            But there also no any one give me proper response. telling like that "APKE TARAFASE KOI RESPONSE NAHI AANEKE KE KARAN APKI CALL CUT KI JATI HAI"

            Please help me to active my card. I facing lot of trouble because of inactive Sim-card.

            Yes...! Issue got resolved after taking long time...!

            It will take 6 days after submitting all the required documents...!

            However I am visited 2 times in your Customer service center for activated my CARD...!

            By the way thanks for your all the support...!

            Hope i will enjoy your uninterrupted service in feature...!

            Also be sure which problem i am facing that should not be happened with anyone...!

            Now the third time my Sim-card going to disconnected state..
            Even I can not call to customer care center.

            why my service has been disconnected by you again..? which documents needed to you and how many times...? this is your customer care service..?

            I am very regret to say that raly fake Service Provide by IDEA. Still may sim-card not activate.
            I am already visited many times in your Idea outlet. they accepting my all the documents and verbaly said my documents are valid against your policy. So why after some day my sim-card going to disconect state.

            If you need to verify my documents and my address proof come to the below mentioned address.

            Myself Mr.Mangesh Mahadik, user of Idea celluler sevice ([protected]) from past 2 yrs. Regular bill payee o[censored]r service. I have visited to Idea gallary at Karve Road, Kotharud, Pune for Bill payment.

            I am very much diappointed with your employees behavior. I visited there by 2.15 PM it was written there on door about Lunch timing. I agreeded with that. But your staff was just sat on the chair(having discussion, No lunch was going on). They asked me to wait, so as I. But then they asked me to go out of the Gallary. I said them that i know its ur lunch time, i am ready to wait for next 15 min. but till that i can have a sit in your gallary. but then ur staff speak very Arrogantly and ask to wait out of the Gallary. They make me to wait out on the road in Sunlight.
            Personally I felt this very Insulting behavior and I have never experience this kind of a service/behavior/hospitality any where so far. I dont understand what is going to happen if I wait there in the Gallary, , , , (as i m not going to share there lunch)
            So I suggest that though its ur lunch time, U should aks your staff to have lunch in Staff Room/Changing Room. and make arrangment for ur Customer to sit in ur Gallary (on whom your company is going on)

              when i m going in idea shop and say them i have need above no. sim replace that time they parson say we have not stock of this type sim. also i m cheking some more city like Anad . Vadodara etc. they give also asn... like above. thair in go some month and when come this type of sim card than a m going in idea care and give my docs... . after that they say me your demo is be delet in system so.. now its not give to u how to gate it please sassesong me my no. is [protected]

                I was recharge Rs. 100/- for Blackberry Internet Service for 7days on 19/07/2011 at 9.38pm. Before I recharge I was talked to Mr.Subhash (Customer Care Officer) on 1907/2011 at 7.15pm. and he advise me necessary process for blackberry internet service activation. After that I had contact several times to your customer care officer for activating my blackberry internet service, but they are all told me pls call after sometimes or talk to our GPRS technical. I request to you pls help me or I will go to consumer forum.

                I was also inform you that I was recharge Rs.44 on 19/05/2011 at 12.56pm. for blackberry service for 3days. But you cannot sucess to activate blackberry service to my mobile no. So I request you again, pls see the matter. My Name: Paulomi Bhattacharyya. Mobile: [protected]

                Idea Cellular — Issue with the activation of services

                I am Krishan Kishore D, an unfortunate customer of your idea cellular services. I took a 2 postpaid connections with the numbers [protected]/20. I did provide all the needed documentation to your executive. [protected] was supposed to be in 249 plan and [protected] was supposed to be in 149 plan. How ever they activated them the otherway round. My connections were activated on 29 Jan and I did clearly mention that for the verification I will be available only till 12:30 PM at my residence. With out any prior intimation and verification my out going services are barred from 1st of February. I called your customer care and they told me that on Tuesday some one will visit my place and out going will be activated. Which was not done, I called on Tuesday and they told me that my services will be activated by end of day which did not happen. I was promised a call from a superior who never called either.

                Finally fed up with all the services that were extended to me I wanted to cancel my connection I called CC they told me to visit any Idea showroom they will do it. I visited the showroom at Himayathnagar they told me that they will not be able to do it and I need to visit only head office. For the reason I asked an explanation they asked me to do " WHAT YOU CAN DO YOU DO" this is not the kind of service that is expected.

                Still my services are barred and I just want my connections cancelled. I want to tell you that Idea really changed my life. This is the service that is expected from a leading group.

                Blackberry — internet email not working

                i purchase blackbary mobile phone from dophin citylite road on 24th march 2010
                in this mobile i active email and internate service from vodaphone. but due to difectiveness of handsat its not working.

                Idea Cellular — Customer Service & Blackberry Services

                Their customer service is the WORST! Never helpful..always keeps passing the buck to another department which asks you to, eventually, contact the USELESS Customer Service, itself!! The Customer Service Reps do not know the meaning of Customer service at all, as it seems that the only purpose of them answering the call is to get rid of the customer asap, irrespective of his / her query being resolved. HIGHLY MANNER-LESS..!!

                Their Blackberry services get de-activated very often, for no apparent reason.

                But once you threaten them that you would change your service provider, the same complain that was going to take 2 days to be resolved, gets sorted out in a span of 20 minutes..!!

                I have recharged my phone online through Citi bank for 200 Rs and i get a message saying that internet service has been activated and i have been recharging my phone online from the time i have taken idea connection and never faced a issue but after recharging it on 6/7/2011i get a message stating that internet services have been activated which i did not subscribe for .And i spoke to the cus care agent who says nothing can be done and is asking me to change the mobile to use the services . The attitude towards cus is very bad so i would request you to kindly look in to it and refund the amount or activate a topup of 200 Rs as i am not interested to use internet services with IDEA. Mobile model (Nokia 1110)

And had requested for the Blackberry services (BIS 399 plan) on the same number on 3rd Feb 2013 at around 11.10am. The balance for the same got deducted immediately, but the service has still not been activated. I have been contacting the customer-care executives and their supervisors regarding the issue, but in vain. Finally, I wrote a mail to the customer care email id provided on the Idea cellular website. I got a call in response for the mail, but all of them have been just giving false assurances about the service being activated in 6 hours/ 8 hours/ 12 hours etc. due to some technical error on their side. If there has been no technical error for deducting balance for a service, why is there technical issues for providing the same service? Kindly help me with the same. Thank you.

                  I want to make a complain about post paid connection service provider of idea. They all are fraud as i have seen so far.

                  I have taken a new connection from one dealer who came in my office to give me a new post paid connection. I have given to him My identity proofs, photo and 250Rs/- on dated 22 june. Then i have waited for a call to confirm activate my service but nobody has called me. When I have made a call to the number which has given to me by this provider, then someone has picked the call and told me he has been Purged(nikal diya gaya hai) due to making so much frauds.Then I have talked to one officer, then he has provided me a number of the dealer. When i have contacted to his number, he is making so many excuses , the documents are misplaced so on.

                  I want to know, who will be responsible for this, if anyone will misuse of my documents.

                  I can provide the contact number and contact name of all the persons involve in this. Please take some fruitful action asap.

                  I have received a call from idea office they have offered me a service if i will make my connection to postpaid, then I was agree. One of executive came into my office to give me a new postpaid connection. I have given them my identity proofs, my photo and 250Rs/- on date 22 June. I have waited a call from your office to confirm activate the connection, but i have not received. Then i have contacted to the number which is given by your executive, when i have made a call to him, they have told me he has been released from the company due to making many frauds. Then I have talked to other officer and they have provided me the number of the executive who had given me the connection, But I have chased him a lot and after some days he has received my call when i have asked them then he was making many excuses. And told me your documents are misplaced.



                  May i know, Who will responsible for this, if anyone will misuse them.



                  It is very bad, i was using Idea prepaid services from last six years, and making this type of frauds with the customer is not good. It will affect on your company.



                  Please take action asap, i can provide you all the contact numbers and contact person name whom i have contacted.



                  I will wait for your positive response soon, as i am much worry about my documents.

After and all I also launched my complaint on 100 Number (D.P.).

                    Now You are requested, do some thing as I cant recieved any call belongs to Pakistan.

I am having second thoughts about continuing usage of idea services and therefore have not applied for a duplicate sim but I need my contact details for which I need my call history for the month of may and june 2011.

                          Please note that I have not requested for any VAS act and do not want any of them to be activated. I want IDEA to make a note of this and do not activate any VAS service.

                          I have already had a very unpleasant experience with IDEA where they had swindled money from me in the name of CH99 magazine which I had never subscribed.

                          I yogesh Sharma, Ihave mobile no [protected] in this no Bhakti sms service is activated 18th june and deactivated 20th june. But in july 20th july charge agaist my mobile no. Why. Kindly sortout my problem refend my money at dedcation as

                          This is happening with many operators. I have had to fight with my operator (not Idea) for over three months for game download charges deducted when NO such download was ever done on my phone. The operator reversed the charges, blamed the billing on some glitch at their end (which I did not agree), but never really bothered to investigate it fully and inform me the findings. This issue happened on two of my mobile numbers. I have got information from friends on similar fraudulent charges being deducted.

                          Please keep writing emails and get official response and submit to consumer forum.

                            now its been many times i've suffered from this problem that some foolish plan is activated by company's end which i don't need at all and the balance is deducted for that.just a few weeks ago i deactivated a plan which actually i never activated and had no idea about it and neither was using it but was paying 10 rs per day.Today one of company's executives called me and gave information about a plan and i clearly mentioned it twice that i don't want it but in the evening when i checked my balance i saw that the plan is activated and balance is deducted for the same around rs. 50.I dont understand whether the company is trying to make a fool out o[censored]s or company's employees are making a fool out of the company and even i am not concerned about that and i just want my problem to be resolved permanently and want my balance back as its not about money its about cheating and that too so clear.And if the company is not able to do that then i will suggest to wind up the business and sit at home because business is run by working and not by cheating.

                              My self Anil Kumar from Rudrapur,Uttarakhand. I have taken Idea Prepaid Mobile No [protected] 4 years ago. Now from last 6 months i am receiving daily SMS from idea for re-submit the documents. I have submitted documents 3-4 times from last 6 months but still i am receiving SMS.I have also verified many times my Name & Address to customer care but no solution.When i goes to idea office for verifying they says that we have sent the document but still no solution. Now i want to change the Service Provider to Vodafone. I have for porting request to vodafone but Idea has rejected my request. When i try to find the reason then they says that this number is activated 1 months ago.Customer Care says goes to idea office & idea office says that call to customer care, no one is providing any details about my number.I am very upset from idea services. Pl's resolve my problem..

                                  Recently I have ported my Delhi mobile number ([protected]) from Vodafone to Idea to get better services from Idea Cellular.

                                  On 5th July, 2011 my number got ported from Vodafone to Idea network and I was happy to see that my phone was on Idea network. But I came to know on 6th July, 2011 that only my outgoing services has been activated by the technical services deptt . of Idea cellular and the Incoming of calls along with incoming & outgoing of my SMS services has not been activated. So i called up the customer care services by dialing 12345 from my cellular and complaint about the same to the customer care executive. He assured to me that the services will start with in next 24 hours . But unfortunately it was not been started till date. I have been regularly giving up the complaint to the customer care executive from time to time( Complaint Dates : 5th July, 9th July, 10th july & 13th July )but my problem is still not been materialized.
                                  So I personally request you to solve my problem as soon as possible as I have already suffered a lot during these days due to non availability of the incoming services.
                                  Hoping for a positive reply from your end and see my cellular ringing once again.

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      I'm using Idea prepaid cellular service (+91-[protected]) and have been trying to port-out this no. for near about 2 months. I'm not satisfied with the network of Idea. I've applied 3 times and bought the Sim cards from TATA DOCOMO (the other service provider) to which I want to port my no., but 3 times my request has been failed. I'm working in HP (Hewlett-Packard) as a Software-Engineer and I've used this no. everywhere so I can't leave this. I'm giving the details below of the 3 times attempt to port out my no.:

                                      i) On[protected], I requested for the 1st time and got UPC code-IX342239. On[protected] I received call from customer care & confirm my port-out request and also got the confirmation message of MNP successful registration with the ID-2598419.

                                      From[protected], every day I've called to customer care and they were replying that "Sir, wait for 24 hrs. Your problem will be solved". On[protected], they took one complain and told me that my problem will be solved within 8 pm of[protected].

                                      On[protected], I called customer care at 7:30 pm, they said, "Yes, it will be solved within 30 min".

                                      At 8:10 pm I called again, they told "Sir, wait for 44 hrs. as I've raised one complain again to our back end team. It'll be solved."

                                      I asked them to transfer the call to their senior, but I couldn't reach them. I don't know why.

                                      Ultimately the problem was not solved.

                                      ii) On[protected], I requested for the 2nd time (UPC code-IX385155). On[protected] I received call from customer care to confirm request.

                                      After 7 days (as it takes 7 to 10 days), I started to ask them when it will be solved. As before they replied "Wait for 24 hrs." or "Wait for 44 hrs.".

                                      This time also I wanted to talk to senior customer care executive, but they didn't connect the call and told that everybody is busy.

                                      My port-out request again cancelled.

                                      iii) On[protected], I requested for the 3rd time (UPC code-IX434648).

                                      Similar kind of call I have made this time also. But there is no result.

                                      Every time they are blaming that I didn't submit my documents correctly. But I went to the authorized TATA DOCOMO outlet and submitted all necessary documents before buying the Sim cards and 3 times document missing can not be happened as the concerned persons are very careful about the service there are providing.

                                      I think Idea does not want that their customer go out from their service that's why they are cancelling porting request.

                                      I'm suffering a serious problem with my network and I really need to port-out this no. as soon as possible. Please look into this matter and take necessary steps.

                                        मैने आपके कस्टमर केयर नं पर 21 जून 2011 को एक कम्प्लेंड दर्ज करवाई थी कि मुझे आजकल कुछ नम्बरों से प्रोडक्ट प्रमोशन और मार्केटिँग वाले एसएमएस कुछ ज्यादा ही आ रहे हैं तब आपके कस्टमर केयर अधिकारी ने मुझसे जो-जो जानकारी माँगी मैने दे दी और वह नम्बर भी दे दिया था जिससे मुझे एसएमएस उस समय आया था। तब आपके अधिकारी ने मुझे कहा था कि 15 जुलाई तक हम उस नम्बर पर कार्यवाही करेंगें। और उन्होने मुझे कम्प्लेंउ नं 1-[protected] दिया था। किंतु मेरे मोबाईल पर रविवार 17 जुलाई को आपके कम्पनी की ओर से ये मैसेज आया कि जानकारी अधूरी है इसलिये हम कुछ नही कर सकते कृपया दुबारा शिकायत दर्ज करवायें।
                                        और आज सुबह जब मैने आपके कस्टमर केयर में फोन लगा कर ये पूछा कि आप लोगों द्वारा जो जानकारी मॉंगी गई थी मैने दी फिर आपने क्यो कहा कि मैने आपको अधूरी जानकारी दी। लेकिन आपके यहाँ से मुझे कोई संतुष्टि भरा जवाब नही मिला सिवाय कस्टमर केयर में अपने फोन हो बार-बार होल्ड करवाने के।
