I am complaing about the rude customer service

So i just brought a new IFB ac from IFB services, and the installation was a success but a few hours later and a person from IFB services contacts us ( note that we weren't sure if he was actually a person from IFR or not because in the contact service it was not written anything about the IFB people instead it said a shop's name we didn't know which) the person kept on asking a cancellation code saying to give it and give it, I kept on asking...

I purchased IFB washing machine wt 8 kg TLSPLAqua from Dealer Valsad DIGI 1 shakbhaji market near tower Balzac on[protected].As per massage received from IFB my request registered with ref No [protected].on[protected]. I have to intimate to your mind honour with great regret that the BOOKLET/information book for working of washing machine for my general knowledge not given to me with washing machine.It is requested kindly to do need full and supply it to me at the earliest.

    I am writing to formally raise my concern regarding the IFB AC I purchased on24th April 2024, which has been fault remote and AC temperature display.

    I have followed all necessary troubleshooting steps and have also reached out to your support team on multiple occasions. However, the issue remains unresolved. Since the unit is under warranty and the fault persists, I request a replacement as per consumer protection guidelines.

    Request has been raised last 2 weeks and either vendor nor IFB customer team do not have an idea when this can be resolved.

    It is disappointing to face such challenges with a reputed brand like IFB. As a consumer, I expect fair resolution and quality service. Please escalate this matter and provide a replacement at the earliest, or I may be forced to take further action through consumer forums.

      I, hereby lodge a formal complaint against IFB Industries Ltd., for selling a defective product and failing to provide a permanent resolution despite multiple service requests.
      Complaint Details:
      1. Product Details:

      2. Nature of the Complaint:
      Soon after purchasing the product, I faced repeated malfunctions.
      The PCB was replaced once in the last three months, yet the issue persists.
      This clearly indicates a faulty product, but IFB is refusing to replace the entire unit.
      Despite multiple complaints, their service team provides only temporary fixes instead of a permanent resolution.
      My repeated requests for a full replacement have been ignored, causing mental stress, inconvenience, and financial loss.
      3. Attempts to Resolve the Issue:
      I raised a complaint with IFB multiple times, including emails to customer care and service teams.
      The service team failed to visit as promised on January 29, 2025.
      Despite IFB’s assurance, my issue remains unresolved.
      Relief Sought:
      In light of the above, I demand the following:
      1. Full replacement of the defective unit.
      2. Compensation of ₹21, 140 for the inconvenience caused, including mental harassment, service delays, and repeated failures to address the issue.
      3. Immediate action against IFB for violating consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
      I kindly request the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission to take strict action against IFB and direct them to replace my unit immediately and provide compensation

        This is one of the worst quality services I have ever faced, I am a big fan of IFB appliances and have been using it for the past 8+ years. But this time my experience was a bit different.

        I bought a top load 7 KG washing machine in the month of Oct 2024, It hardly works perfectly for a week. After that I have registered 3 complaints and all three engineers have explained to me different, different issues but till today my issue is the same.
        Following are the issue:
        1. Machine stopped taking water in the middle.
        2. There is a chu-chu sound in the machine while washing. seems this sound coming from the motor belt.
        3. Though the capacity of the machine is 7 KG, if I put a bedsheet alone, it stopped working.
        4. Sometimes It doesn't work with 3-4 pairs of child clothes. 30 % tub fill.

        Within 2 months of purchase, all major parts of my machine had been unscrewed. Can I expect any help from here?

          We purchased a new washing machine but that is not working. Technician came to check and found the new machine to be faulty. The machine needs to be replaced, but there is no action happening from IFB side.
          We are struggling everyday to follow-up with them but still there is no solution.

          Update: After following up again, we got the confirmation from IFB that the replacement has been approved. But it will still take 3 days to deliver the machine. When we purchased the delivery was immediate then why does it take that much time to deliver the replacement?

            As my washing machine getting sound from past 1month I raised so many complaints regarding the issue till now the complaint not closed as I went to the service centre and asked about my problem he was very rude and using unparliamentary language with ladies and saying that he will sold that parts for money he will not service to the under warranty such a disgusting behaviour and he is wearing swamy mala which is shameful for the god.                 Hello Team,
                My washing machine is giving a huge sound along with vibration and hence immediately i have raised service request to IFB and IFB team visited my home and informed to replace dampers and since we are on warranty they said that they will request new dampers and will get replaced in 3 days and they closed my request.
                The above technician didnot responded to us even after many calls and hence we decided to raise a new request and the team had visited my home after 2 days and then they replaced with new dampers and said that the issue is fixed.
                We were out of station after the dampers were replaced and post that we have started to use washing machine and still got the same issue with huge sound and vibration. I think the IFB techinican team doesnt have good knowledge to find the root cause of the problem and then again I immediately raised new request (3rd request for same issue) and again new team came and found that the issue is not with dampers and now they came up with new thing called MOTOR. They took the motor and said they will replace with new motor and we dont have any choice we said ok. This is 3rd week since my machine stopped.

                After 3 days the team came back with new motor and stabilizer and forced us to buy new stabilizer from only IFB which is worth of Rs.6000 and it is Rs.2000 (Outside from a reputed brand). They argued with us and they denied to replace motor with out buying stabilizer from IFB. I have talked with manager and he said you need to buy either of the product from us like motor or stabilizer then only we will get motor replaced. How wierd this why i should buy motor since i am on warranty and how come you will force me to buy IFB stabilizer.
                I need below points to confirm,
                Is there any customer policy mentioned while purchasing washing machine to buy only IFB stabiliser then only we will replace motor.
                As per consumer act, we have total freedom to purchase products of my interest and company should not denied their service as we denied to buy your product.
                Is this the way IFB treats their customers.
                If this still goes on at some point IFB comes up with new rule to buy ony IFB clothes and use only IFB clothes in IFB Washing machine and if not we will not service you.
                IFB Team, Please do the needful and let me know the updates asap
                Please raise this issue at higher level.

                  I want to highlight the issue with my washing machine. In less than 2 years, the washing machine has had issues 4 times. Please let me know whether this model is suitable for household use or if I need to replace it. My experience has been very bad.

                    Water leakage

                    When the washing machine is spinning water leaks from the bottom. This issue had happened before and technician told that there was issue with manufacturing and changed the tub (he told). But now, after 20 days, the water has started leaking again...

                    We have raised a complaint AD451 with IFB for my front load washing machine. My machine was stopping abruptly while running, so one executive came from IFB third party service and said there is an issue with the motherboard and took it for repair for 2days but problem not solved. After multiple complaints one more technician came and did some soldering and charged ₹3, 500. But issue remains same. Now third party team is not responding even customer care team also not responding.

                      Initially my IFB dishwasher stopped working due to issues with its heater. After repeated complaints and follow-up, the technician came and replaced the heating component (with 3 months warranty) and took the defective component with him (not sure why, no other company takes the defective component back). Then from that day (25 June 2024) the water started leaking from the bottom of the dishwasher. We have been following everyday since then with the service center executive Mr. Prince Pathak (Classic Enterprise, Navsari) as well as his senior Mr. Dileep. However both of them have been non responsive. Its been a month now and they don't even pickup our phone. The dishwasher is leaking so much that the botoom of the body is fully rusted now. This is the worst ever service I can expect from worst brand like IFB. It was a huge mistake buying IFB products under the perception that its still a brand what it used to be 10 years back. Can someone please help in this regard. I find it ridiculous that being a customer I have to followup for a month without any response from these people.

                        Hi IFB Customer Service,

                        I am writing to express my extreme frustration and disappointment with the abysmal service I have received regarding my malfunctioning AC. Despite lodging a complaint, no one has bothered to reach out to address the issue. The error code "E0" has persisted for the past 10 days, rendering our AC completely unusable.

                        During a recent call with your customer service team, I was assured that someone would visit to check the AC. However, no action has been taken so far. This level of negligence is absolutely unacceptable.

                        I demand immediate attention to this matter. If prompt action is not taken, I will escalate this complaint further.

                        Below are the messages I received:

                        "IFB Ticket no- [protected] has been pending due to Customer Appointment/Re-scheduled."

                        Even after writing an email to [protected]@ifbglobal.com, I have not received any response. This service is the worst I have ever experienced. If this issue is not resolved today, I demand a full refund and will dispose of this useless equipment. It's better to buy from another brand than to deal with IFB.
