IFB Industries — Warranty issue

I bought IFB machine in Jan 2022. Company provided 4 years Moter warranty and 10 years of spare parts warranty. Also there are some free services provided by company which I have never experienced.
I launched a complain to IFB customer care and complain no is [protected].

First of all, technician visited after escalation.
First impression from technician is that my machine is not in warranty. I tried to convince him that i'll show bill when he will reach.

When he reached and checked the machine ... I showed him the bill.
Further he checked and found a small hair clip and one spoon (use and through) in exit water pipe.

Based on that technician rejected the warranty of the product and demanded money for the Moter.

Although company fitted one filter b/w exit water pipe and Moter (Image attached below of white filter).
Technician rejected the whole warranty by saying that its a physical damage.
1. That hair clip and the spoon are not parts of machine.
2. The view which technician can check is uploaded below. I don't see any damage in that view for motor.
3. Motor is fitted inside the machine, no one can see what is happening inside.
4. If filter is there to protect motor from such object and its not protecting ... then its a fault of the design, not customer.

When complain escalated to area manager, Delar, technician, customer care... everyone has different views.
Everyone is trying to explain the situation from their own view ... but no one is answering that for hidden motor, which we can't see from nude eyes. What is the definition of physical damage.
If motor is not working ... no physical damage... what else can happen with motor which company is covering in warranty.

I am looking forward for the resolution at the earliest.

The microwave is under warranty. After filing a complaint about the microwave, the technician came twice but they were not professional, the technician did not fix the microwave, now ifb service center close my complaint without fixing my microwave.The reason they closed the complaint was that the customer did not have a copy of the bill, while the technician had clicked the photo of the bill both times, I am also attaching the copy of the bill, now today I have filed a new complaint. whose number is [protected]. I request you to resolve my complaint as soon as possible otherwise I will go to consumer court. ifb company service is very bad experience, ifb company technician not professional, they are untrade,

      I have registered complaint for washing machine not working on September 23, 2023. No one responded till yesterday . Yesterday I received a call from a lady +91 [protected]. I told her about issue. I was surprised that she was asking for service of machine. She has no idea of compliant. After learning the issue, she confirmed that technician will visit at 1130 am todat on Sept 27, 2023 but no one has called or any plan to visit.

      THE SERVICES OR RESPOND TO COMPLIANT FROM IFB IS TERRIBLY BAD .

      THEY WILL CALL EVERY 3/4 MONTHS FOR SERVICE AND THEN TECHNICIAN WILL CALL BUT WILL NEVER VISIT . THIS IS HAPPENING FROM BEGINING

      THEY TAKE CUSTOMER AS GRANTED.

      I WILL EXPECT PEOPLE TO BE CAREFUL OF THEIR ASSURANCES ETC, ALL FAKE

        There is an electric shock in the washing machine body and multiple tickets to resolve the issue. However, the service center is canceling the ticket without resolving it. Escalated this issue multiple times, but no resolution yet.

          My dishwasher is having problem of electric shock. I have raised complaint 2 times and it was marked closed without technician visit. Then customer care escalated twice. Still no one contacted.
          First complaint was raised on 28th aug 2023 with ticked id [protected].
          IFB complaint escalation process is fake, no priority or follow up by any IFB executive for escalated matters. IFB just do the routine service jobs only, if any service person defaults then IFB becomes clue less what to do. They do nothing then.
          It has been almost 1 month but no one contacted.

            Washing machine toppled over during operation even it was placed on IFB provided stand. I was shocked to experience this even after getting assured that it won't fall of the stand as it is made by IFB.

            I thought it may be a reason regarding load and else. But, it happened twice in a 2 month period. Need assistance regarding this.

              I purchased a new Microwave Oven on 5th of September wil order no DOA[protected] from Croma Nagaram with sales executive Mr Zakir Hussain Mob No [protected].

              After purchasing the unit till today i.e 11/9/2023 no one reached my place for SERVICE

              I am very upset with this kind of services from IFB and Croma, please request you to return my amount and arrange for pick up ur item from my home.

              This issue I am also escalating to consumer forum also in coming days.

                I made payment to your franchisee on 29th July 203 vide transaction ID[protected] . This was paid by mobile to your franchisee person Mr Arul Kumar who came home to close my service request


                it was indicated that there is some software issue & contract would be issued soon. i was in touch with Mr Khayaam Azgar of franchisee too on this issue & then with Mr Venugopal Reddy of your Hyderabad office

                After lot of follow up I was issued a contract 62188099 dated 10/8/2023 for one year only though I made payment for 2 years

                No amount of follow up with your customer service or Mr venugopal reddy helps

                Please issue correct contract to me

                    My washing machine had stopped working and I’d raised a complaint for it, numbered [protected] on 23rd august. The technician visited my premises and assured us of resolution of problem within 2 days but on the third day my complaint was marked as customer rescheduled without my input and technician gave us the reason that the part required was being sent in by the head office and will arrive by 1st of September. I was also asked to pay an additional amount for the repairs despite my product being under AMC package. Its been over a week since I raised this complaint and now the technician does not answer any calls nor have I been sent any communication from the company.

                        Scam IFB Service engineer Jeevan - +91 [protected], +91 [protected] and +91 [protected] . Scammed me with the complaint number ticket no is [protected] . He came and collected 5251 Rs for AMC to resolve the complaint and he is not picking the call now. IFB Bellandur service centre says he is not from IFB . If he is not from IFB how did he know the complaint details, my name and address. He visited with ID card. IFB sharing the customer information and cheating the customers with this kind of scams.

                            Hello Team,

                            I have placed an order for top load washing machine on 19th Aug 2023 through IFB portal and stated it will be delivered within 3 days but till now no one contacted me. when I reach the customer care they are keep on saying that you will receive the call in next 10 mins 20 mins but no one call me. I have wrote mail to the customer service also thrice but there is no response from them. I request IFB team to look into the issue ASAP.

                              I am writing this email as one fraud happened with me due to breach of confidentiality by company.

                              I had connected on registered IFB customer care number[protected] on 20th Aug 2023 (approx. 9 am) and informed to the executive about my washing machine problem.

                              As he told I will get a call after some time, and I got a call within 2 hours, and I have explained the details about my machine as he had claimed himself as a technician.
                              He has given the same ticket number which I received on the mobile when I registered a complaint.

                              After listening my issue, technician has offered me an AMC which covers my rubber issue.
                              Technician Number - [protected]

                              As services will be free for a year along with other benefits so I had opted that service for a year and instead of any link, he has shared scanner on What 's App where I paid 5015 INR via Phone Pe in the night.

                              He has sent the AMC receipt over the mail which I saw later and itself looks fake.
                              He stopped receiving my phone and no reply on what's App.

                              So, here problem is it's a totally breach of confidentiality by customer care executive as he had only shared ticket/mobile number of mines to 3rd party or Fraud person.

                              (A confidentiality agreement is a legally binding contract to protect confidential or proprietary information shared between businesses or individual).

                              What action you are going to take on this matter.

                                    I purchased IFB microwave model 30BRC2 on 26.12.2020, it has 3 years of warrenty on the magnetron which is the main component that heats the food., I still got the warranty sticker intact. Now that I called the customer care that it isn't working they are saying that the warranty period is expired and 3 years warranty promise is only valid for magnetron and cavity. But how can they judge without even having look at the microwave. And the worst of all, the dealer who actually sold this tells me I have to contact a private repair person when they explicitly stated in their terms if I make any maintenance or repair by third party, my warranty is not valid!!

                                      I purchased IFB washing machine in December 2020 from a store in Sonipat, Haryana. The machine is in guarantee/warranty.

                                      I called customer service to register a complaint that my machine is not drying clothes completely. They registered my complaint and issued me a ticket number *********. The technician didnot visit my home and told me over phone that my machine has bad shockers and they need to be replaced.

                                      I was surprised how he knew without visiting my house that shockers are a problem. He asked me to share the model number on his whatsapp number and he would place the order. He came after one day with shockers to my house and said that my machine is on a local stand hence guarantee stands cancelled and i have to pay money for it. During installing 2.5 years ago they themselves gave the stand, when i told the agent about it he is asking me for stand bill. How ridiculous!! I called customer service to file a complaint and they said a senior team will look into it and call me.

                                      No one called and i called customer service again, now they are saying part is not available. I don’t understand why they are doing like this. Why customer service us not following up with us.

                                      This is sheer fraud and i am really upset. I called cust service at least 10 times and they connected me to some rude person Mr. Manish. I am upsat with the rude behaviour of Mr Manish, who claims to be working with IFB sonipat. This man has no manners to speak to customers and is telling me Do what you want!

                                      I need an answer and solution to this problem.

                                        I purchased a washer dryer IFB LaundriMAGIC 3-in-1 machine (WD Executive ZXM 8.5/6.5/2.5 KG machine) from Flipkart Seller Consulting Rooms Private Limited Seller. Machine doesn't complete spin cycle and keep on running in loop. Raised return with Flipkart but they refused replacement and cancelled by themselves. Checked on Flipkart Policy, they only replace damaged products during delivery and faulty products/defective products needs to be replaced by Brand (IFB) itself. Then we CONTACTed IFB service CENTER & IFB branch head as well. They sent a senior technician and technician confirmed that issue is there with the machine and can be replaced. But the branch head is refusing this replacement and not escalating this issue. Now we're in middle of nowhere. Both the company are ###, I am regretting this purchase from the core of my heart. Even they're not repairing the machine before replacing. So, world's best pathetic experience is guaranteed with Flipkart & IFB if you don't want peaceful life.
