Updated by ASHISHS1 I placed an order for a wallet from jabong.com priced at
1295.42 after discount (Order No: [protected]), didn't liked it so
called customer care for getting it replaced, the agent on the call didn't told
me that the actual cost of the Exchange wallet (Order Number : [protected]
) is less than the previous one, the new wallet came it was good but when I checked
the bill it was of 1110 while the earlier one was of 1295 I was shocked to see
that, I called Jabong customer care and
they told me that now that if I am getting the Item Exchanged and amount is
lesser so Jabong will not refund the extra amount which they should actually
tell at the time of Exchanging order but not after delivering order.
The behavior of the customer care executive was not at all professional
he was shouting on the phone as if it is a mistake done by me that I purchased
an item and got it exchanged too.
He told me that if you want the remaining money back you
need to refund this order than we will refund 1295 in a week time and then you
should place a fresh order again. So I have gone for that option.
But actually I can see that Jabong has to do shipping and
return for 4 times unnecessarily and wasting time of customer by this long
process and also there resources as well.
I have done a lot of shopping from flipkart.com and they
have always done refund or exchange in an easy way.
This is actually companies like Jabong.com due which
customers in India are still afraid of buying goods from online websites.
Thanks Jabong for such a Nice Experience, you are already
losing a new first time customer and lot more in future due to stupid policies
which are against consumer base.
