I am frequent traveller in our KSRTC but this time felt very bad because of KSRTC driver. Details of the bus no "KA 40 F 387" and date of journey May 04, 2015, Time 22.48 belongs to Bangalore to Chennai. I don't know the driver name but his behaviour is very bad and also he took the alcohol while driving. In the same thing i have recorded video which misbehaved with passenger but i will not upload anywhere because i have concern about KSRTC. Hence forth i would request the concerned authorities to take necessary action against the Driver. Otherwise as lawyer i will go to the next stage. Please do the need full.

    detail of the bus no KA-35-F-142 belonging to HOSPET depo I am a regularly travel from Gangavathi to Hyderabad on the same route the conductor mis behaved with me and overloaded with more passengers, took extra money, and tried to dissembarked me from the bus near Raichur, this is the worst incident in my whole life, hence forth i would request the concernd authorities to take necessary action against the staff. regards Karthik Talwar [protected] [protected]@gamil.com

      Hi Sir/Madam, I am frequent traveller in our KSRTC and I feel very comfortable but this time it was not like that. I felt bad for 3 things. First one - Its regarding water bottle. Conductor gave me half ltr water bottle and it got over after some time and I requested for one more and he is looked at me as if he is paying from his pocket and gave big lecture on that. I want to know is there any rule for this. One btl for one traveller? Second one- after starting Shivmoga Driver and conductor started talking loudly and conductor was telling some story to the driver and using bad words. Third one - He was playing New Kannada movie, (Mr and mrs Ramachari and Power) as we know both the movies are new and they not released DVD, How can we play Piracy movie in public transport?       Sir, we are in receipt of your complaint, amd details has been examined. As per circular in ksrtc only one water bottle is giving to passenger at a traveling time. In humanity base and the request of passengers, the extra water bottle is given depending upon the conductor and concerned authority warned the conductor for his misbehavior. Concerned authority has also instructed the conductor for not play the piracy movies.and warned that conductor for play piracy movie.         I've booked a ticket to PUDUKOTAI on 21/09/2014 which was cancelled by KSRTC as the service was cancelled on that day due to the tension on Jayalalitha case verdict. But I didn't received the refund amount into my bank account. Please find below the ticket details Transaction Date : 21/09/2014 PNR Number : J45550124 KSRTC OB No. :OB13165297 Journey Date:27/09/2014 As per my KSRTC online portal, below is the cancellation details. Cancellation Date: 27/09/2014 Refund Amount: ₹ 410.00 I sent a mail to them on 10/11/2014 and even after so many follow ups, the money is not refunded and also no information on refund was given to me. It has been 6 months since I raised this issue to them I'm thinking of contacting the consumer court for further steps.

            Amount deducted but ticket was not confirmed.

            On ARP-11-2015, I have tried booking a ticket from BNG-TPT. Amount got deducted, but ticket was not booked. When i called for the refund, one of the customer executives asked me to send a mail to : [protected]@ksrtc.org. Now it is been 15 day since i have sent a mail, and refund is not yet credited. I tried to book the ticket many times and I encountered a failed transaction 2 times.                 The private buses which operate in this route jack up their prices during weekends and peak seasons People are helpless as there are no alternative options available. For instance, during the long weekend (May 1 - May 3, 2015) A query in makemytrip.com /redbus.in for a one way ticket from Bangalore to Ankola on 30 Apr 2015 lists around 30 private buses with most of them quoting prices in the range Rs. 1500 to Rs. 2500. One operator "Manish Travels" quotes Rs. 2900/- which is more than Bangalore-Mumbai flight rate! The same query in KSRTC lists only the 3 buses given below1. KARNATAKA SARIGE - 1 bus @ Rs. 4882. RAJAHAMSA EXECUTIVE - 1 @ Rs. 7523. NON AC SLEEPER - 1 bus @ Rs. 1036Surprisingly there is not even a single Volvo service in this route!However, the same private buses are quoted in the price range Rs. 500 to Rs. 1500 on a weekday (Thursday 14-May-2015) in redbus.in.Why is KSRTC not capitalizing on such a huge demand in this route, while private buses are exploiting people and misusing the opportunity? Obviously there needs to be some regulation in the prices of these unscrupulous private bus operators.We request KSRTC to introduce atleast 10 additional buses in this route (including VOLVO buses).

                  KSRTC Bus: PNR:J49915633, Journey Date:26/04/2015, Trip Code:2215TPTBNG, Bus Number:KA-01F8076, Depot:BENGALURU -2, Crew Mobile No.:[protected]. There was hot air emitting in last seats of the bus, namely 41, 42, 43, 44 & 45. we could not sleep at all and sweating all night. When we tried complaining to the conductor he was reluctant to help and also spoke rash to us. This was the service by ksrtc after having paid such a heavy bus fare.

                      I m daily traveller from BIDADI To BANGALORE, from Bus No KA- 01 F-270, at 9.35am On 20/04/2015 BusDivision Kollegala, This bus is not stopping at bus stop all the public is facing the problem as the Bus Driver in stopping 500mtrs far from bus stop, all the public will Run back to the bus, I tried to complaint the driver but the driver was very rude so we had an argument and conductor shouted with very bad language and vulgar language and asked me to get out of the bus in front of all the passengers...!! I request you to take a action on the conductor and driver the in bus.

                        Dear Sir, I tried to book 2 tickets from (Pond cherry to Bangalore) on 10th April 2015 from mobile service, my amount got deducted 783rs from ac but it is not refunded from last 23 days. There is a huge negligence in your service no one responding if i call your land line numbers ([protected]/[protected]).                           Rash driving by Superfast express of licence number KL-15 9194 in Venjaranmoodu. On 03/06/2015, due to rash driving by the driver of this vehicle, two girls on a scooter were killed as the driver of this bus was overtaking. Had the accident happened, even my vehicle would have been in danger as the bus was in the wrong side of the road. Please take immediate action against such rash driving. Lives are at stake.

                            Dear Sir, It was a horrible experience travelling in Airavat bus when we travelled from Bangalore to Gokarna in the vehicle KA - F8466 in seat no 35 & 36 where no A/C instead heat air was coming from the rear that made us almost suffocation. When contacted Driver and conductor they expressed that the temperature kept was 25 Degree Celsius. They also confirmed that the rear end was hot. We can not open the window nor we can tolerate the heat instead it was better we could have travelled in ordinary bus wherein we could at least open the window. We lost unnecessarily money and also the suffering throught the journey for nearly 11 hours. We request the authorities will look into the matter and fail to understand why this is not been checked before starting journey. I request the KSRTC should compensate for the same by refunding the amount. It is a fact and I am not making anything unnecessary remark as I have great respect and regard to our KSRTC bus services.                             A state owned company to have such good customer service is something of a rarity. Wish and hope that all state owned companies follow suit.

                              Seating arrangements in Bus

                              I would suggest to provide an option to differentiate ladies and gents seat in online booking. Because of this many passengers wont feel the comfortable journey. The bus drivers are also not responding properly. Its really difficult for ladies who travels alone by booking online. We cant depend or disturb other passengers to swap the seat....

                              I am narrating here a painful experience in KSRTC on 10 April while travelling from Pune to Belgaum with my sisters son. The behaviour from KSRTC crew was disgusting, Details of trip: PNR: T49412441, Journy Date: 10/04/2015, Trip Code:2350PNAHBL Bus no:KA-25 F3109, Depot: HUBBALI MOFUSSIL-3, Crew mobile no: [protected](as per SMS sent by KSRTC). After boarding into the 1 hour late bus, bus left the stand and the conductor comes to me and started shouting at me, take another half ticket for the child or leave the bus right now saying that boy is 12 years old. We had booked tickets online and boy is 11 years, his date of birth is 04 March 2004. The conductor was very very rude shouting at me, he is looking at me like i have committed some crime by boarding into the bus. He was asking me to leave the bus in "Kartaj Ghat" or take another half ticket. He is arguing with me around half an hour. He is saying that if the boy is in 6th standard then you have to take the full ticket and it is a rule in KSRTC. When i asked the proof of rule then he said we can ask the driver, beleive me driver is also supporting the cundoctor. After that i agreed to pay the full ticket for the child. Now again problem, while booking i have paid 75% of ticket amount i.e. Rs.435 for the child. now he is asking me to take another half ticket of Rs.435 which is going to cost me in total Rs.870 for a full ticket and the actual cost for the full ticket is Rs.580 i was shocked. No one is listning to me i asked him to call the controller then he denied saying its too late to call now. Finally i give up and paid Rs. 435 for the ticket, Rs. 290 additional for the full ticket. Ticket No. 00045780 Amount: Rs. 435 Conductor Details: No: 3303 Name: M. S. Pise. Depot: HUBLI The entire episode was humiliating and insulting causing mental agony throughout the journey. This type of rude behaviour from the crew of a Govt Organization like KSRTC is not acceptable, This has to be seriously viewed and action taken to avoid further implications.                                 I was suppose to travel from kanchipuram to hosur.when I approached the bus conductor for a seat, he simply told me to pay Rs. 500 against the availability of seat. When I asked him for the actual price, he told it was Rs.350 and when I questioned him for the extra levy of amount on my ticket. He just told me that there was some demand for tickets on the particular day. When I told him that I would even complaint about this to the higher authorities, he just told do what ever you can??. If such is the way of conductors treating the passengers then no passenger would prefer to travel through ksrtc. And I dint want to board that bus after all that unpleasant acts by the conductor. I travelled with PNR no J49581027 on the same date.                                     I am narrating here a painful experience in KSRTC two days ago while travelling from Ernakulam to Bangalore with my wife and son, I am in the senior management position in a prominent PSU in Bangalore, The behaviour from KSRTC crew was disgusting, Details of trip: J[protected]/04/15 Trip code :1828EKMBNG 18:28pm Bus no:KA 01F 9260 Crew mobile no: [protected](as per SMS sent by KSRTC) Soon after boarding, the conductor started demanding Rs.150/- saying my son is 12 years old and this money is for allowing him to travel in the bus . We had booked tickets online and my son is 11 years, his dt of birth is 10.10.2003. and we were frequent travellers from Ernakulam to Bangalore. The conductor was very rude shouting at me and my family and he stopped the bus saying the bus will not move unless we pay him the cash. When we asked whether he will give us a receipt, we were told that, if receipt is required the amount is around Rs, 800/- otherwise only Rs.150/-. At that moment to avoid inconvenience to the passengers I paid him Rs.837/- being the diff between the charges for a child less than 12 years and the full ticket. Ticket no:004579 dt.14/04/15 Time:19;48;07 was issued and the bus started. The bus driver was also supporting him by stopping the bus and thus forcing us to pay the cash. The entire episode was humiliating and insulting causing mental agony throughout the journey. Even my 11 year old son is asking me, ' why this KSRTC people are unfair to us? ', This type of rude behaviour from the crew and demanding money is uncalled for from a Govt Organization like KSRTC, This has to be seriously viewed and action taken to avoid further implications.
