Hi Team, Its really frustrating to keep on calling the KSRTC helpline and keep writing mails without any response. The customer care guys keep on repeating the same lines saying that they cannot do anything, you have to wait. It seems there are so many people being cheated regularly when I encountered the same situation myself. I got weird answers regarding the refund request from customer care like your ticket was not at all cancelled, so no refund will be given, Then you have re-booked the ticket, but you did not travel so no refund will be give etc etc... I was in a dilemma, What is happening????? I told them I have a mail and SMS proof for the cancellation, but even then they did not pay heed to my words and kept saying the same thing again and again. Finally, after talking to their supervisor, I managed to get a complaint raised regarding refund for my cancelled ticket (PNR: J[protected] after seeing no response from KSRTC ( Complaint No. 12199) in last 25 days. But, to add to the great experience, I got a SMS in half an hour, that the issue has been resolved. I felt happy that my hard work finally worked out. But when I checked my account there was no refund. I call the customer care guys and informed them regarding the SMS, they told to check the account after an hour. I waited till evening and called again that no refund has come to my account. Again they started the same behaviour, that it is displaying that the amount is refunded on their side and we can not do anything. I asked how can you close a complaint without confirmation of refund. I asked for the proof of refund and guess what they kept on repeating the same above lines... This is complete harassment from KSRTC... I requested to raise one more complaint regarding this issue, but to my utter experience, they bluntly refused to register the complaint. It is completely ridiculous. I am not sure that any action will be taken even after this email as I haven't got any response for my previous emails. Thanks. Rajeev +91-[protected]

    Dear Sir/Madam, I Santosh R, daily traveller from Tumkur-Bangalore is here to say that I am the monthly pass holder from 10th March 2014 to 9th March 2015 with ID number K005138. I purchased the March month's pass on 2nd of March 2015 in Tumkur. The pass is valid till 31st of March 2015 but the ID card has got expired on 9th March 2015. Now the KSRTC driver/conductor is not allowing me to travel without the renewal of ID card. Why did they issue the monthly pass till 31st of March 2015 with the same ID number?       Anyone there, KSRTC is one of the biggest transportation system in KARNATAKA, where they can easily rob money from public. Passenger fare has been unknowingly increased to Rs. 80 per passenger. Imagine you are staying more than 300 KMS and per km the cost of KSRTC should be charging less than a rupee, but now it is more than 2 re. that means they are stealing blind folded from public. Even though the oil prices are slashed out. KSRTC real shame of you. One fine day will come when public will not use KSRTC transportation instead they will use their own vehicle as oil prices are cheaper and moreover it is less costlier than your fare rates. KSRTC - SHAME ON YOU!!!

          Two o[censored]s (me and my mother ) were travelling in a ksrtc Volvo on 15/03/2015 from udupi to bangalore . Below are the details PNR - J48946635 Bus number - KA-01F8331 Seat numbers - 1, 2 We were carrying 10, 000 rupees cash in our wallets. We were having the handbags near our seat all the while. When we checked the wallets in the morning, they were empty. I have been travelling in ksrtc from many years but never faced any problem like this. This incident happened with some of the other passengers of that bus too. I have called ksrtc customer care and filed complaint too. Did not receive any update on this so far.                     I was traveling from Coimbatore to Bangalore after meeting a customers in Coimbatore on 5th March 15, I took a Karnataka State Road Transport (KSRTC) bus (KA 01 F9274 ) with trip code of 2140CBTBNG (PNRJ[protected] seat no 31W at 09:40 PM from Coimbatore bus stop for which the tickets were booked online the same evening. The seats that were available werethe last-but-one seats and there was no other who sat behind us (last row) asthese are not comfortable to travel overnight. As I remember, one guy (UnreservedPassenger) boarded the bus around 10.30pm and took the empty seats in the lastrow. Everything was OK until 1.30 AM when the bus stopped for a 5 min break at Salem (Tamilnadu). I saw my bag at that time which was kept below my seatin-between legs. Thereafter I was half asleep and the bus was stopped at a remote highway junction 30km from Salem (Outer ringroad) at 2.15AM, and the persons who boarded at midnight got down at thatlocation. Within no time I was feeling the awkwardness about place wherethe bus stopped and the guy who stepped down. I slowly got up and checked to see that my bag is missing. I searched alround and asking the fellow passengers. Inthe meantime the bus moved forward while I was alerting the conductor and the driver. I was literally pleading the driver and conductor to either stop or take a U turn to the same location but i received careless answer from driver & conductor . Later on in order to register a complaint, I had to visit 5 Police stations who werenot ready to take up the complaint as they say the location of the crime does not fall under their limits please help me how to proceed further.                       Hi, I happened to travel from Vellankanni to Bangalore on 8th March 2015 (Sunday) in Rajahamsa executive - KSRTC. Initially the conductor told there are 2 seats in the last second row. So me and my brother took the seat and he informed that the ticket fare is Rs.550 per head. I gave Rs.1100 for both o[censored]s. The conductor told that he would give the ticket later. The bus boarded at 7pm. However, he never gave the ticket for 3hrs. Later in Tanjore he told gave the ticket for Rs.886 and told us if any one asks say that we got in tanjore. This is a pathetic service from KSRTC. Rs.214 has gone to the conductor's pocket. There are several incidents we have come across like this but KSRTC never takes any action on the conductors. Firstly you people charge so much and keep increasing the ticket rates every now and then and we face worse situations along with that. Ticket number: 021325 Please take necessary action

                        While travelling through K.S.R.T.C bus with Route no: H345 and ticket no: 422982 from ITPL, the conductor asked me to give INR 5 as fare. I gave him INR 10 and instead of returning back the remaining 5 rs he wrote down 5 on the back side of the mentioned ticket and said something in local language which I could not understand. Again I asked for the change but he did not give me that. My stop Hope farm came and I had to got down without the change. I think this is an illegal process of returning ticket changes and should be stopped as soon as possible.

                          I booked the ticket from Bengaluru to Thiruvanantahpuram for return
                          journey (seat no.21 and 28, dtd. 20.02.2015 and 21.02.2015)on 16.02.2015
                          at around 11.40 Am. Rs.2301/- is debited in my account but the ticket
                          is not confirmed and also I booked complained
                          online booking No.OB14791793 and OB14791896.

                          With reference to the above subject I logged the re- complained against
                          online refund the amount of Rs.2301/- on 26.02.2015. Complained No.12010
                          at 12.00PM.

                          With reference to the above subject contacted at AWATAR Cell
                          No.[protected] on 28.02.2015 at 13.00 hrs and they suggested to send the
                          mail:

                          It is bring to your notice that the above said subject for refunding the
                          amount of Rs.2301/- is not yet refunded even after several reminders
                          and requests of three weeks(Complained no.12010 and ref. No. OB14791793
                          and OB14791896.

                              Hi, I have send an email to '[protected]@ksrtc.org' regarding my refund amount for failed transaction. I have couple of time to call center no response from them. Below is the details I have booked online as a Guest user. Transaction got failed but amount got deducted from bank account. I have called customer care number, they suggested to mail for refund to an amount. Here are the details.                                 Hi, Bus No - KA 47 F 658 Bangalore to Hosur Route This bus was not stopped at the gudlu gate bus stop. When I went to complaint the conductor and the in charge of KSRT buses in Hosur bus stand are talking rudely. Atleast the driver said that becse bus was full he did't stop the bus. I request you to take a action on the conductor and the in charge person in Hosur bus stand.

                                    Hi, This is in relation to my trip from Thrissur to Mysore dated 1 Feb 2015. PNRNo. J48052463, bus number - KA-01 F8436. Me and my friend were travelling in this bus and the bus conductor was very rude to us. He neither offered water nor gave us any blanket. Instead he was trying to scare us and show he was the leader there. A very small example of this, I and my friend were talking and the conductor was sitting right behind our seat. About 25-30 mins later, he got up to go beside the driver seat I suppose! Coz there was a movement I just looked up to see what was happening. The conductor looks at me and shouts "What do you want???" I was taken aback... I had not said a word... I just said nothing. The bus was supposed to reach Thrissur at 9 PM, but it had not come there till 10.45. This stop is not that safe for ladies to stand all alone so late and so my friend had called the conductor to check what happened to the bus. The mobile number was switched off throughout. On checking with the conductor after the bus came, he said the phone is on roaming and so he cant keep picking up calls. If being on "roaming" is a problem, why is the number even shared by KSRTC. We understand that there can be traffic blocks due to the metros coming up, but is it not right to know what is keeping the bus from reaching the stop. This was one of the main reasons the conductor was behaving rude, just that we asked the conductor why the mobile ws switched off!!! Another reason was that I had requested for a stop in Edappal which is on the way to Mysore and there is no detour to be taken. I was not well and so travelling to Thrissur would have taken me atleast 1.5-2 hours. Not only this, the conductors previously had allowed me to board at Edappal and they always used to tell me just call and let the conductor know. This was so stressful for me and my parents for no reason. After booking the tickets, why should a person be subjected to such tension. I would request the KSRTC team to talk to this conductor and request him to be more kind with the travellers. Like him, we are also humans who are tired or have our own problems. Showing irritation does not help any o[censored]s rather KSRTC team would lose some very loyal customers. I have been telling people about my experience and I hope something is done so that the service is improved. Thanks,

Due to some unknown reason my transaction got failed but the amt Rs.2686.00 (ON 15th Feb, 2015 at 15:56: 45 at KSRTC Central Office) got deducted from my credit card no XXXX XXXX XXXX 1271. My KSRTC OB numbers are OB14767546 and OB14767278, Kindly process my refund. I have emailed [protected]@ksrtc.org yesterday but no response till now and I have called 10 times to their help line but no body is picking the call.

                                      refund of cash for a failed transaction

                                      on jan 26 i booked a ticket which eventually turned out to be a failed transaction but the cash was deducted from my account so i request for a refund to my account
