dear sir,

i have bought my nokia N70 in june'08. but now my set is totally hacked by the hacker, means someone dialing from my phone and my balance decreasing. it is happened to my BSNL and AIRTEL sim. plz give me the solution.should i change the software of the my nokia N70 or throw it?

    DEFECTIVE SET BUT SINCE IT WAS DIWALI TIME THE SHOPKEEPER ASKED ME TO COME
    AFTER 4 DAYS. THEN HE ADVICED ME TO TAKE THE SET TO NOKIA CARE.THERE THEY
    DID SERVICING AND THE NEXT DAY THEY RETURED THE SET SAYING IT WAS OK. I AM
    A STUDENT STUDYING IN KOTA RAJASTHAN SO I TOOK MY SET AND WAS BACK TO KOTA
    BUT TO MY UTTER DISAPPOINTMENT I FOUND THAT THE FAULT WAS STILL THERE SO
    IN MY NEXT HOLIDAY I AGAIN WAS BACK TO MY HOME TOWN AND GAVE THE SET FOR
    REPAIR AT NOKIA CARE AND THEY PROMISED ME TO RETURN THE SET WITHIN 15 DAYS
    AS THEY SENT THE SET TO KOLKATTA.I GAVE THE SET ON 18TH DEC 08 BUT TILL
    TODAY THEY ARE NOT IN A POSITION TO RETURN MY SET. I AM A STUDENT AND I
    LIVE AWAY FROM MY FAMILY IT WAS THE MODE OF COMMUNICATION WITH MY FAMILY
    BUT AS A CUSTOMER

    once i performed many functions at a time such as transferring data through bluetooth, it was connected to tv and it was on charge.suddenly it hanged. and from that time when i open a video it hangs and it vigourously starts updating.when i go to restore factory settings it require password and i type 12345 as it is the required code mobile shows the code is error. i think the security settings has been corrupted.

        I would like to bring in your notice about the problem with my N73. I bought a new N73 from M/s Mehndiratta Music World on 31/08/2008 via receipt No. 19799 IMEI:[protected] . About a month ago I noticed that my phone is hanging and also its keys 2, 5, 8 were working even on mere touching. They were working as soon as you keep finger on it. For this problem I contacted Nokia Care in my city named as Yamuna Telehut. The engineer out there reloaded the software of my phone but because they didnt have the internal keypad, so told me to wait for about a week so that they can arrange it and replace. I went to them about a week and then they said that it is not available right now. They said me to wait for another week. After that I went to them next week and then they said that now that part is out of stock as we have replaced them for customers you were already waiting for it prior to you. Then they asked me to wait for anothere week. Now today I went to them regarding this part. I had a minor argument with the Manager of the Nokia Centre Mr. Hardeep Jindal. He was behaving in a very non-professional way and didnt listen to me at all. Some how he agreed to change the internal keypad of my cell. But after that he told me that he will not change the internal keypad as I have made it out of warranty because it got damaged due to some liquid. He told me that now you have to get it replaced on paying the full amount of internal part and also it can not be replaced at any other Nokia Care centre also since we have voided its warranty.
        I beleive that it is result of my argument with him for delay in service. Now he is not willing to accomodate me anyhow.
        The keys 2, 5, 8 which were working before depositing my cell to Nokia Care are not working now.
        Please help me either by repairing the keys or replacing the internal keypad.
        Since nothing can be done as they have made remarks about the damage of my cell phone I believe its my biggest mistake to trust on brand like Nokia and to visit Nokia Care which is nothing more than a place where you can get insulted.

          when i switch on my mobile it is sking about restriction code, cn i get this code so that i can start my phone...
          On entering a picture in the memory card, my nokia 5300 shows the phone is restricted. Without memory card it is displaying the same thing. In addition to that my p.c can not detect the phone further. Now what to do?

There, he was told that it may take a month as the set has to be sent to Service Centre, out of station. On visit to Delhi, my son approached Nokia Service Centre, M/s Ace Communication, 13, Kapil Vihar Main Road, Pitampura, Delhi on 6-5-2009. On seeing the date of purchase, M/s Ace Communication refused to accept the set on one pretext or the other but on intervention by Nokia Customer Care, set was taken on 8-5-2009. After lapse of quite considerable time of about one month set was returned. On using the set it came to notice that headset defect was not properly rectified and another defect cropped up i.e. on connecting to computer, set was not getting connected. Set was given again to M/s Ace Communication. After some days, they returned the set saying it cannot be repaired. We contatcted Customer care, they also expresseed their halplessness. Subsequently, we had shown to other service provider on chargable basis but after examination, we were told that set is beyond repair as the mother board has got major defect.

          Does it mean that our money has gone to waste on buying Nokia Set? Can something be done.

            I had purchased a Nokia 5310 Music Edition Phone and noticed that it has very poor signal reception. When taken to a Nokia CARE Centre, the phone was returned to me after nearly 4 weeks without any enhancement. Now again the phone has been submitted to the Service Centre and its been nearly 3 weeks and they are claimimng that I will get the phone next week.

            Have I bought the phone to keep it with the Nikia Tech Team?? Doesnt Nokia have some business ethics and provide me with a replacement if they cant fix a defect?

            Nokia — Very very poor quality of service centre

            I have Nokia N 73 which was giving some problem with the software. I gave the mobile to Today Telecom Nokia Care in Elphinston road, Mumbai on 6th. Even after 9 days they are saying that they have not started working on my mobile. 9 days waiting to reload the software which is done in just 5 mins by road side vendors, I understand no that why people go to road side vendor rather than going to Nokia care.

            Adding to that no one ever pics up the call at the centre, so I had to go 5 times to the centre to enquire about the status. Today the centre manager very rudely returned my moblie back. Name of the centre manager is Jagdish Girri. He said to me that I can go and complain wherever i may feel like he dosen't care.

            Can anyone let me know where I can esclate this issue to?

              i am rishi jauhari, i had purchased my nokia 6500 S mobile . it was under warrenty, but i was facing problem of very less battery backup problem, so it was given to Nokia care, indira nagar branch
              branch add: INFOCARE SERVICES
              VIBHAV COMPLEX, FAIZABAD ROAD

              so they explored my mobile and told me that the mobile has liquid log problem . and it will not be covered under warrenty and after opening my mobile it's warrenty will be over, as per my knowledge my mobile never got into water, still i accepted that may be for some reasons it can happen. but when they had given my mobile after repair, its condition was worse than before, now its flash light not working, mic not working, battery getting discharged in not more than half an hour. and they charge me 800 RS. for this work. now when i complained them back that my mobile is still not working, then they again took it and every time saying that u can take it after 2-days . but dont know when are they going to deliver it to me., and i have to go abroad, so i am stuck with this nokia care .
              even the attitude of this nokia care branch is so bad that they neither speak to customer's properly nor behave properly.
              i dont know whether this nokia care is attached with the nokia company or its an individual body which works on its terms and conditions, for which nokia is not responsible, if that the fact then i must say to consumer's, they should not buy nokia product as the company is not responsible for the repairing and warrenty matter's.

                had purchased a 3500C Nokia Mobile on 30.03.08 from Mobile stores, Indore .After 5-6 days i found following problems:-
                1. Horizontel lines appears if mobile shake the lines appeared at photo capturing.
                2. Display Screen Heat.
                3. Less battery backup.
                4. Poor quality of sound with speaker.
                The mobile stores refer to contact Nokia care in first instance 2 engineers said that set is ok. Then i shon the problem to Care incharge.After a long discussion he agreed and sent the set to HCL Bhopal. After 10 days set was came with a remark tat the "All functions are OK".Again discussed with Care incharge he convinienced and have a words with bhopal care incharge.The HCL bhopal sent a replacement .repalced set was having same problem Local care incharge had changed its display then first problem was ractified rest were comprmised by in that duration my new set was with care apporx 25 days. Again on 03.01.09 i reported Ringer problem. The Ringer was changed but problem was not ractified than again set was sent to HCL Bhopal 21.01.09 .It was again informed me for repalcement.Today i received the repalced set and found again following problems:-
                1. Horizontel lines appears if mobile shake the lines appeared at photo capturing.
                2. Display has greeinsh tone.
                Rest problem has to be observed.

                Today i have come to know the said mobile is not repalced it has been swaped for your knowledge updation i am giving the defination given to meby nokia care
                "We would like you to be informed that when the service centre decides to swap a phone, it is subject to the availability of stocks. Kindly be informed that a swap phone (working unit) is arranged from a service stock and not from the sales stock. A swap phone is a working unit and may have reengineered components of your previous mobile phone. Also the swap would have warranty from the date of purchase of the original handset.'"

                It means the set is old and reassembled with the help of other unreparable set.I have already written to them that the set has manufacturing defect but noboday is accepting it. I am fully dis-satisfy with the services and solutions provided by Nokia .I had requested them to Replace with another model

                I am trying to lodge the complaint against them for refund the moeny with interest and compensation on A/c of tension and harrasment beared by me such a long time.

                I will suggest you everybody not to purchase 3500C model

                          I bought a Nokia mobile model 2630 from a friend who visited me in Italy from london during the new year celebration, since he left for london I have not been able to power the hand set, it kept on requesting for RESTRICTION CODE which I dont have,
                          Every effort to contact him proved abortive as his contact has been changed, pls I need your assistance to enable me use the phone, pls forward to me the restriction code.

                          Nokia Mobile Phone 2630 — no servicing no reoairs

                          I purchased NOKIA 2630 hand set IMEI Number [protected] on 10.11.2007 from dealer ‘Magic Mobile, Mahajan Market, Sitabuldi, Nagpur with bill No.10703 dated 10.11.2007.
                          2. The next day it hanged and was not found working. No reports can be made as 11.11.2007 was Sunday.
                          3. I was out of station up till 17th and was not able to complain. On the other hand I presumed that this is a new hand set and one has to give time to get acquainted with it.
                          4. I reported to NOKIA care (R.J. Trade link) Mahajan Market, Sitabuldi, Nagpur on 19.11.2007 and was asked to contact after two days.
                          5. After two days when I enquired about the status I was told to contact after two weeks as my hand set was sent to Pune.( HCL Info system Ltd.D-2, Ganesh park, opp. Tanera ware house, Pune –Nagpur Road, Wagholi, Pune).
                          5. Service engineers at Nokia care Nagpur did not respond my telephonic inquiry about the status of the set. I launched a telephonic complaint to Nokia help line after that I went to Nokia care in person.
                          6. On 15.12.2007, I got my hand set with a claim that it had been repaired.
                          7. Problem persisted on 16.12.2007 and since I was again out of town on 17.12.07 and 18.12.07 and was able to report about the fault on 22.12.2007
                          8. I was told to submit the hand set again for repairs.
                          9. At present the handset is again with NOKIA care (R.J. Trade link) Nagpur

                          Nokia Mobile Model No. 2630 — Faulty Model

                          Dear Sir,
                          I am a owner of Nokia Mobile model No. 2630. It was purchase at Amravati (Maharashtra) on 17th Jan. 2008 from Nokia dealer "CELL PLANET" for Rs. 3800/-. Its IMEI No. is [protected].
                          From the date of purchase it starts giving problem of hanging. I tried for two days but the problem remains as it is. So I rush to dealer and convey the problem, he send it to company and after about 40 days he return it to me . Then I tried it for a day and the problem is still as it is . So I again complained for the same to Dealer, he again repeated the same procedure and return it to me after about 30 days . But the problem of hanging during receiving or outgoing of every call remains as it is . Now I request dealer to give me another model of the same company of same or slightly higher price range excluding model No. 2630 . But he told his anability. So. I complained it to you and please give me a justice. As I invested Rs 3800/- since last three and half months but I could not availing the service of that mobile.

                            Do not buy nokia mobiles, I lost my money purchasing one N72, on 30 dec 2008 when I was talking over phone all of sudden mobile screen went blank and i took that to the nearest nokia care there they said I can collect my mobile in 4 days, but I have received my mobile only today ; they are telling that water log on mother board, hope I should have opened the mobile while I was talking and should have spitted over the board

                            For the kind information the mobile is still under warranty, he is telling it wont come under warranty and giving nokia rule RW 12, Poor nokia service, I don’t know how comes a customer is responsible for board problem.

                            If they continue the same type of servicing, it’s sure NOKIA will be out of INDIA soon.

                            Nokia — I LOST MY MONEY; BUYING NOKIA

                            Don’t buy N72, i have wasted my money, it hangs often recently as usual it hanged and I tried to restart it unfortunately it didn’t, so I have given it for service in Nokia care they have taken 11 long days!!! To find the issue and finally they came to the conclusion that the mother board is dead!! ? for the new buyers info I have purchased that phone just 7 months before, so I told them its under warranty there immediate reply was its due to water (strange ), I asked them how comes !!! There reply was while talking over phone I should have spilled!!! I don’t know, I think while I was receiving call I should have opened the panel and spilled over the mother board Nokia care is a place where its cares only about NOKIA, sorry to say if this kind of servicing continues!!! Nokia will be out of INDIA soon…

                              Dear Sir,

                              I have purachased a nokia-6233 from a nokia dealer ( THE CELL POINT, SEC.- 14, GURGAON) on 14 August, 2008. But in December It switch off automatically and didnt on. I thought it may be a software problem so i go to nokia care( Gurgaon). They told me it was a software problem they scan it and give it back to me . after some days same problem appears, screen goes white itself some time and mobile switch off. It never on again. This time care executive told me it was a battery problem and software problem. they take my cell n give me a new battery after 15 days. after some time same problem appears it is third time . Now i m getting fedup with mobile and your service. this time executive send my cell to headoffice (Delhi) for 15 days. Please look after the matter and do the needful. It already killed my lots of time. This time i just want a OK handset otherwise i will go for some other actions.

                                Hello,

                                I am really fed up of visiting these so called Nokia Care centers. I bought a brand new Nokia N81 from a Nokia Showroom(Nokia Sector 22, Chandigarh) for Rs.14, 200 about 20 days ago. Only a week after the purchase the Navigation wheel stopped working all together. And just 2-3 days after that phone camera also stopped working. Whenever i try to activate the camera an error appears (Camera feature not supported). And when i went to Nokia Care center(Sector 34, Chandigarh) they checked my phone and told me that it will take about 10-15 days to get my phone fixed and it will cost me around Rs.2 to 4 thousand. When i told them that my phone is within the warranty period, they told me that i must have dropped my mobile. They said it because their warranty doesn't cover the malfunction due to external damage. Even when i argued that there is not even a single scratch on any part of the mobile, they kept saying it must have fallen. I kept saying that i purchased a leather cover for mobile at the time when i bought the mobile. I have always carried mobile in that leather cover and i know, i never dropped my cell phone. And absence of any scratch or mark on mobile proves my statement.

                                I am being harassed unduly by the Nokia Care people. Its been 9 days since i visited Nokia Care shop and in the mean time i have again visited them twice. But my phone is still not working properly. This careless attitude of Nokia has to be dealt with.

Previously they have replaced phone's motherboard, now after two months i have again faced the same problem, IT'S MORE THAN A MONTH NOW I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY PHONE YET, GAYATHRI PEOPLE ARE TELLING ME WE ARE WAITING FOR SOME ONLINE APPROVAL, CUSTOMER CARE PEOPLE 30303838 TOLD ME YOU SHOULD HAVE GOT YOUR MOBILE RIGHWAY WE HAVE CLOSED THIS JOBSHEET...                                       It is brought to your kind notice that I submitted my NOKIA Mobile (N 72) IMEI No.[protected] at my nearest Nokia care named as M/s. Mobtech Solution, Mangalam Complex, Samad Road Aligarh-202001 U.P. as my handset was out of order as the SIM Card was not working properly, it gives a Message like SIM CARD NOT VALID and it is also mentioned in the service job sheet no. 2553 which is provided by Nokia Care during submitting the handset on 24 Dec. 2008

                                      As per my regard the honour of this Nokia Care is Mr. Ansul Gaur contact No. [protected].I made 4 to 5 times contactwith the honour and he gave a new false excuses at every time and made me fool. On 10 Jan 2009 I again called him up to know the status of my mobile and he said that it was completely O.K. When I went to receive my handset I found that my handset was accussed with a new Problem as it restarts after a fixed time(2 minutes).They said to me to visit again next week.
                                      I contacted on phone to Care and they misbehaved me and tortured me mentally, economically and by wastage of time because they called us to visit on reqd. care many times and I still not got my handset and the Honour of Care refused me to repair my handset. He refused me that we can not repair this handset and he demanded 800 Rs.for back your phone As he had told the charges to repair completely the handset.but it was in worst condition than I submitted on 24 Dec. 2008
                                      And my handset is not repaired.
                                      I request you kindly look into the matter and you are requested to solve my problem at the earliest.I would rather avoid dealing with Nokia Care. I am not satisfied with their services, The honour is such ill-mannerd person who don't have the etiquettes how to behave with the customer.

                                      sir i had submitted my nokia 5233 at nokia care center aligarh on 7 jul 2012 17:36 pm. the problem was that the music player was not working and software updating. so the given the dilivery date of 7 jul 2012. from that day i m ragulerly going to the care center to take my mobile but they r not giving it back and says only 1 thing that ur mobile is not repaired come tomoro and tke it but there tomoro had never came so pls take some action against them otherwise i will go to onsumer court

                                        I am a resident of india and i receved a sms from :"WEBSMS", message center number : [protected] on 30th jan 2009. It read : "CONGRATULATION YOUR MOBILE NUMBER HAS WON YOU 500, 000.00 GBP IN THE ONGOING NOKIA NEW YEAR BONANZA FOR MORE INFO EMAIL- [protected]@live.com OR CALL [protected]" . As i had just purchased a nokia phone it seemed very convincing so i called them and spoke to a person named Grice Phillips. In reply to our conversations, I got a very convincing mail that included a scanned copy of a U.k. passport of the name Grice Phillips. Unfortunately i had replied to his mail and also scanned and sent a copy of my driver's licence. But when i had to pay for the cheque to be shipped to India, it costed me 1000$ which when cnverted is Rs45000 and is a LOT!!! I was asked to transfer the cost via "WESTERN UNION MONEY TRANSFER" to a person said to be a representative of a courier service based in the U.S.A called "Virgin Couriers". Ony the sum of Rs 45000 brought me to reality and made me think twice!!! I urge every one not to be fooled by this scam because it is very well done and quite convincing.
