Re: - Replacement of Nokia 1650 set Batch no.[protected]

We are shocked to bring to your knowledge that we have recently purchased the above-noted set which is infested with certain technical problems. In the starting time automatically blinking 3-4 time then start completely and after 4-5 days totally off. One time already repair in Nokia care at Bagga agency, Gondia and set receive after 25 day. But after 2 days problem is same steel. Please give suggestion what I do?

    Sir,
    This nokia handset, Model 2760 was bought only on 11th instant. I found two black lines on top running vetically through the display cutting the signal and time dsplay. Initially, I thought this is some design. Since it is covering certain vital data, I checked up with similar sets, then only I could understand that this is a serious display fault. When I contacted the seller viz., Akbar Mobiles, Chandra Nagar, Palakkad, they informed that this is out of their purview and only Nokia Service Care people could resolve this and no replacement possible. Accordingly, I contacted the Palakkad Service People. My complaint has been registered at[protected]/080616/54 - Set IME No. [protected]. The service people stated that they have to refer it to higher ups and would take about 15 days tme. It is very frustrating that such a big Company like Nokia takes this much of time for repair/replacement of this brand new set. I would be grateful if you can interefere and arrange replacement within a coupleof days instead of waiting for such a long time. The set it seems has been referred to Ernakulam service care from Palakkad service care.

    last months back my cell phone got some display problem so i deposited my ph to nokia service center at raj nagar ghaziabad / when i go there on delivery date they said that they can not repair the set and they suggested me to take your ph any other sercive center

      NOKIA INDIA IS WAITING FOR ANOTHER EXPLOSION IN BL-5C BATTERIES AS THEY HAVE STOPPED REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE 46 MILLION BATTERIES

      I had lodged the request for replacement of the battery in Aug 07 through internet on NOKIA BL-5C product advisory website .No replacement was offered by NOKIA at all for the reasons best known to them . Then afterI was informed by NOKIA helpline in the month of Dec 07 to lodge a request at nearest nokia care center as they have stopped deliveries through courier and accordingly I lodged a request with INFOCARE SERVICES UGF-1, 2, 3, Shanti Complex, Faizabad Road, Indiranagar, Lucknow, Phone:[protected]/4049813 on 28-12-07 with sl no 428. Since NOKIA care (who does not care at all) failed to provide the replacement even after more than 3 months period I emailed NOKIA customercare. NOKIA representative called me on 13-04-08 at my cell ph [protected] and informed me to contact customer care no 30303838 in Bangalore who advised me to contact the NOKIA care where I had lodged the request for the replacement of battery which I did. The person managing the above center simply told me that they are not getting any replacements of BL-5C batteries for the last 2-3 months and they have only delivered 275 sl no till date that too 2-3 months ago. He was correct to state that in case nokia is serious about replacement why they do not talk to him directly or through conferencing .Again after repeated emails (about 30 in nos)and telephonic calls to nokia care Bangalore several times I am back to squire one.You would kindly agree that this is not expected from a worldwide company like NOKIA. However you would agree that nokia reputation has gone down by BL-5C episode. I t is further being tarnished by such irresponsible actions noted above. In case nokia is seriously interested in replacement of batteries they should do it immediately as this type of batteries are available in abundance in all the NOKIA stores all over the country including Lucknow as it is used in 54 handsets and is the most widly used battery by NOKIA .May be NOKIA INDIA IS WAITING FOR ANOTHER EXPLOSION TO OCCUR IN BL-5C BATTERIES which may not be far ahead

        I visit to green park, nokia care centre, on[protected] at 1500 hrs. for delivery of my N-70 phone at the enter on counter where the deliveries of phones. I saw that there is no executive on reception where the token gives, i stand on the counter atleast 10-15 minutes after that i ask to a security man, he came to the reception and give me the token no. there is no AC working on the fully covered room the temperature is so hot. no executives on the other desk for delivery counter. too much rush on the delivery counter peoples are waiting for long time, when i asked for manager, security man tell that he is not available. I stand there half an hour but the number is not going increased. please do something for customer's good faith. otherwise the people did not faith on nokia.

          Sir,
          I am using Nokia 3310 and 6600 hand sets since 2003. As such I have purchased a “Nokia 2600c-2” hand set on 22/05/2008 from a dealer at Belgaum in Karnataka (ESN /IMEI No.[protected]-Cash Memo Copy Enclosed) with a belief and confidence that Nokia hand sets are the best hand sets.
          Now I wish to bring to your kind notice regarding the performance of my newly purchased hand set “Nokia 2600c-2”.
          After owning the hand set on 22/05/2008, the set was kept ON for charging at 9.00 pm on the same day and the charging was found completed after 12 hours i.e. next day morning .When the set was put to use in the morning, after some time it was found “hanging” ( Key pad Locked) showing particular display. So, in the after noon I contacted the dealer. The dealer opened and closed the rear cover and battery. Then the set was found ON and the dealer remarked that it was a minor problem and not to worry about this.
          Then on-wards the hand set has started displaying (without connecting to the dialed or incoming number) “error in network” for outgoing calls and “not in coverage area / switched off” for incoming calls every now and then (not continuously).With the said problem, I used the set from 23/05/2008 to 27/05/2008 .Only when it started causing the above narrated problem continuously, I contacted the dealer again on 27/05/2008. The dealer advised me to change the simcard. Accordingly, I contacted the BSNL authorities and they informed me that the simcard is OK as it was working satisfactorily on the other sets. Hence, on the same day I approached the Nokia Care Local Service Center at Belgaum regarding the said complaint. The Center has accepted my complaint duly checking the sim on other set and taken over the set for attending complaints (Job Sheet No.[protected]/080527/74). Next day evening the set was given back to me with an instruction to replace the sim. Accordingly the new simcard is obtained from the BSNL authorities and it is inserted to the set on 29/05/2008 by the Nokia dealer from whom I have purchased the set.
          The new sim was activated on 30/05/2008 in the morning. But the set has started giving some other problem i.e. it has started “automatic switching off” continuously. By observing the performance of the newly purchased set from the day one, it proves to be a defective set. On the same day it has been shown to the dealer. And the dealer has in turn informed the Nokia Care Local Service Center at Belgaum on phone regarding the above complaint and the service center has also again taken over the set on 30/05/2008 and informed that the set will be sent to the company for attending complaints. But the job sheet for having handed over the set to the center has been given to me on 05/06/2008 due to server problem as informed by the Nokia Care Local Service Center at Belgaum (Job Sheet No.[protected]/080605/196).
          Then onwards, the Nokia Care Local Service Center at Belgaum has been giving me readymade answer that “the set has been sent to the company and is yet to be received from the company” when enquired with the center.
          Even though, I have purchased a new handset by paying prescribed amount, I am unable to use the same since the day of purchase. And also I have wasted my valuable and precious time for so many days to contact your dealer and local centers several times. This is my bitter experience after purchasing the new handset. Instead of enjoying the facility and comfort after purchasing the Nokia handset I am, on the hand, undergoing bitter experience, apart from being humiliated by the treatment and non co-operation being extended by the Nokia dealer and staff in service center. Similarly so many other persons may be facing such or other problems. In view of the above, I am now coming to the conclusion that the Nokia is manufacturing sub standard handsets or otherwise it is releasing the handsets without any quality control check to the market.
          So, in my opinion, Nokia has to take steps to improve the quality of manufacture or to conduct efficient quality control before releasing to the market.
          Therefore I request your kind self to send me a complaint free handset (Nokia 2600c-2) at an early date as it is already over delayed. Even after receipt of the handset by me from the company, again if it starts giving above such or other problems, I will be forced to approach the consumer’s court apart from communicating the facts of my bitter experience to my friends, relatives and media.

          NOKIA N95 — hang when i use gprs

          hi, i have nokia n95 and it hangs up when i use gprs on my cell and on, my pc too. i upload firmware but its not working. still the same prob occurs. and it hangs up again and again. then it need to put off battry out of cell and then i start it again. plzz tell me wat is d solution of this prob.

          Dear Madam/Sir
          I have purchased the 2600-C handset from Hotspot shop in Nehru place New Delhi on 05/May/2008 at 14:00 Hrs as per above details. On using the phone on 6th May I found that the phone hangs while sending SMS and this facility does not work. On 7th May 2008 I went back to the hot spot store and requested them to replace the phone as it is a defective piece though I went to them within 2 days and as per Hot Spot store policy they should have replaced the phone but they advised me to visit Nokia care shop in E – 13 Kalkaji. The store incharge Mr Ravi Shankar was responding in a very stiff posture indicating “If you are stuck with a defective piece it is your problem”. I have mentioned in the visitor book kept at the store about my discontent. I visited the Nokia care shop on 7/may/2008 in the evening. The Nokia care advised to come on 8th as they were closing. On 8/May 2008 I again went to the Nokia care store and after waiting for One and a Half hour I was told that the phone has some problem and it has to be sent to Banglore for at least 20 days. Additionally the store did not inform that one cannot park in front of the store and as a result my Vehicle was also towed away.

          The on 8th may I contacted the Manager of Hot spot stores Mr. Manoj (Mobile no [protected]) who again advised that he would take the phone and follow up with Nokia care. I was a bit shocked that he is expecting a different reply from Nokia Care then what I got. Pls inform me why I am being harrased like this? Is it a crime to trust "NOKIA" as a brand or “hot spot” as good stores?

          Instead of harassing people who belive in Nokia and hot spot store the store staff should have just changed the handset instead of putting the customer in trouble and prompting the customer to take up legal methods for redressal of grievance.

          Kindly respond within a week by changing the defective phone and sending me an apology letter otherwise I would be constrained to take up legal action.

          I have been using Nokia N -72 ([protected]) which I purchased on 25th January 2008 from Vickrant Entp, Mumbai.

          The said hand set is not functioning properly and it suddenly starts hanging. Some times, it re starts on its own while at other times it continues to hang for days to gether.

          We have complainted to the Nokia gallary at least three times and submitted the said set for inspection. However, each time it is duly retiurned to us with absolutely no improvement in its functioning.

          Under the circumstances we request you to perform the quality checks again on the said hand set and ensure that it functions smoothly.

          Frustrating!!!
          We need a a system where any product that is purchased from any seller(or company) can be returned in a month of time as in USA markets. That will give a comfort in buying stuffs. So that no need to be a begger behind these service guys on company supports.

          We need value for our money we sepnd. Should not be cheated by any more NOKIAs and make them responsible for each of their product.

          I shocked to bring to your knowledge that i have purchased the above-noted set in feb-2008. after workling wel for two months it got out of work. when i go to your customer care center they said that it is due to some software problems. then they repair it and give me in working condition. but after working 1 month the same problem occurs again. then again i go there they again repair it and give it to me. but after that working 9 days in a proper way it again get out of work. then again i go there and requested to repair it in a well manner. they request me to wait for 20 days. on that day the date was[protected].after 25 days when i go there to bring my cell then they said that e have'nt recieve ur cell from our head office please wait for one week. but when after oneweek i go there then they said that till now we have'nt recieve your cell. after getting to much irritation i have take this step. now i am too much irritated. now it's too enough. i am sending this mail to inform you about your customer support executives. but now if i dont get my cell in working condition till saturday then on monday[protected] i'll go to consumer cout too complain for your company. i dont want take that type of step but ur executives force me to do that. also ensure that such problems do not creep up in future and that our faith in Nokia remains undaunted.

          2600 C (2) Nokia Handsets are real problematic.
          I purchased one in April 2008 and right from the beginning it is having exactly the same problem Er.B.G.Huggi had.
          My vendor in Bhopal also told me the same story that the SIM is a problem. But now I am told by the Nokia care Centre at Bhoapl ( where I had to finally deposit the phone for repair/replacement on Sept 19, 2008 when it switched off (Dead) - Sameer Music that there is Liquid problem and hence it is not covered under Warranty.
          When the product was defective and hence not functioning properly from the beginning itself, how the story of Liquid in the set can be justified.
          The company has found a good way out to get away from its responsibility of shoddy products.

          I purchased Nokia 2600c-2 mobile on 17/06/2009, IMEI: [protected], at Proorvika Mobiles Private Limited, B.O.: #57 Vellalar Street, Mount Madavakkam Main Road, Adambakkam, and used as per prescribed instructions of the company. Unfortunately on 18/06/2009 at about 7.00 PM display unit of my mobile phone gone defective automatically. Nothing was visible in it. Recieving and transmitting units are working well. Immediately I went to the shop where I purchased the equipment and reported the same to him. In turn, he doesn't taken any responsiblity and simply said to consult or approach the Nokia service centre. In this regard, I disappointed with shopkeeper as well as your product and mentaly depressed sofar. Request look in to the matter personnally and instruct concerned quarter to take appropriate action and intimate a line to me.

          Recently I borrowed Nokia N95 mobile. But, though the battery is full and no viruses are also detected, still the opening of aplications is very slow and always gets hung.           I bought a Nokia E 71 mobile hand set on 4th January 2009. The hand set is not working properly due to the software problem. It is getting heating up of the mobile,system hanging,switch of automatically and gets swithced on,GPRS is not working properly(cut off and hangs up ). The hand set was given to the Nokia dealer - mobile stores and sent to service two times durig waranty period, and they repplied that there was soft ware problem which we have rectified. But the problem is still persisting and unable to do any thing with the supplier or manufacturer. Requests your guide and support.

            HI friends,

            I want to share my experience with NOKIA cell phones with you and want to ALERT you regarding the drastic drop in it's quality in recent years.

            The Nokia that once upon a time was famous for it's quality and thus managed to get a upper hand than other player is now not the same.

            Here are my experiences and sure that I am not the only one:


            1. I bought a Nokia 6670 and after 1 year it's keypad started giving some problem, I took it to NOKIA care ( bigest mistake) they told me that there was some problem with keypad and they fixed it and charged me around Rs 300 but after one week same problem came again and after a long struggle they were ready to repair the phone again but again the same thing and after 2 weeks it again had the same problem. I thought that Nokia care center has some problem and took it to different nokia care they charged me Rs 650 and told me that they have fixed the problem but after 1 week the phone again had the same problem and when I took it again they fixed it but again after 2 weeks that phone stopped working after that neither I had time nor money to spend so I decided to buy new phone. But the excellent care of Nokia care didn't stop here please keep reading.

            2. I bought a Nokia 2626 and on the first day I found that the display had some problem and the dealer had replaced the phone (again the quality).

            3. I got a replaced Nokia 2626 and it worked well for 2 months and after that suddenly one day it stopped working and when I gave it to dealer, after 3 weeks he informed me that it is water damage and said that Nokia is asking rs800 to repair the set but I am 100% sure that the phone never came in contact of water but still I though that set may have come in contact to sweat bc's I can't think of any other reason.
            So I collected the set from dealer and gave it to Nokia care myself and after 3 weeks this is the reply that I got

            "ELS failed.liquid log on system connector, INTER track MISSING, so not in warranty can't be repair so RWR"

            I don't know how without anything the set came to this state and when first time nokia was ready to repair it for 800 how come second time it can’t be repaired. I am sure that now nokia care is full of incapable guys who has no or very minimum knowledge and I can't have more strength to be with nokia and switching to motorola.

            In case you have any plan of buying a nokia phone I will suggest you to visit any nokia care shop and you will come to know about the customer’s frustration with the quality.


            In case anyone knows about any legal possibility in this case and had such experience please let me know.

              Mr. Dinesh Mehan told me it’s not possible could you tell me why if I purchased nokia mobile I did a crime. If you can not provide me good facilities why have you opened a lot of nokia service centre? Mr. Dinesh Mehan is not a responsible person doesn’t know
              What is the mean of customer’s service and customer’s satisfaction?
              I realized that I did a crime because I have bought nokia mobile phone I am saying you with my folded hand please replace my mobile phone this is my humble request and give me a response waiting for your response.

              Dear sir,
              I brought nokia N73M(music edition) on August 15th, 2007. within 3months i gave twice in nokia care for software update.Everything was fine for six months.Then owing to some technical problem i gave my mobile in nokia care, punjagutta, Hyderabad on[protected]. I was told that the problem couldn't be rectified and will get replacement within 2weeks. I HAVEN"T GOT IT TILL NOW.

              It's been almost TWO AND HALF MONTHS i haven't got my replacement.
              During this period it wes around 8 to 10 times i have been to the nokia care they keep postponing the date.I was given the HEAD OFFICE CARE NO.[protected] THEY AREN"T RESPONDING PROPERLY.

              Kindly look after the matter to the earliest possible.

              First :- Charger pin broken.Within the first month of purchase i have to pay for that .
              Next within one week the set become switched off automatically and on clossing the camera slide also the set turn off automatically.I approach Nokia Care and they told that it is the problem of the phone software and they serviced the set and gave me back.Again after one week same problem arouse and the same procedure repeated .Now also the phone in getting switched off automatically and when the camera slide is tapped or closed.Same occurs also when it is placed on a surface.

              Iam a Medical College Professor, round the clock Iam busy and I have no time to visit the Nokia Service Centre regularly.I have bought the Nokia N73Music Edition only because it is an internationally reputed company and assuming that it complaint free handset.Now Iam very much dissapointed
              because of the troubleshooting Nokia N73 handset.The service of the Nokia Care in calicut and also the shop 3G Mobile World are not at all satisfactory .In this Juncture Iam inviting your kind attention into this matter for replacing my handset.

                  I have purchased the above model mobile from Supreme Mobiles, Tirupur on 10.09.2007. After 4 months the irregular switch off of the mobie occured frequently. Eventhough the battery was in full charge this problem arise always. When I insert memory card the mobile was continuously switched on and off itself. The error notified in the screen was "Check info Service" error always notified in the screen regularly. When I entered the Airtel live also the same problem occured. On the adivise of the seller I have service my mobile in Nokia Care, Tirupur. After that also the problem is not solved. I am not satisfied with the mobile.

                  Nokia 3110C — Recharging Problem

                  Respected Sir,
                  I got some problem in my Nokia 3110c regarding charging (it takes more than 3 1/2 hours for recharging) from the day i bought it i.e.[protected]it's under warranty). Til now i have given my handset 'thrice' in Nokia Care(s) for repair. But the problem remained the same. Rather it's giving more trouble regarding hanging for which they suggested software update. This time i went to Sameer Music, E-5/1, Shop # 5 & 6, Opposite Habibganj police station, Ajay Tower, Bhopal on[protected]. They said that the problem is a bit complicated and the handset has to be sent to the higher office situated in M.P. Nagar, Bhopal and the mobile will be delivered in 10 days (maximum). Since then they have been postponing the delivery date by saying that the mobile has to come from higher office, some transport problems etc. Even though the problem exist, there should be some standby handset provided to me. Its already been delayed for 10 days and no replacement or standby been provided. I am very vexed with their behavior and so do other customers.

                  I thus humbly request you to kindly look into the problem and help/ suggest solving it at the earliest.

                    Dear Sir,

                    I would like to mention that I have purchased one Nokia handset 6600 two years back recently there was problem of only no display screen in the handset but all other function were ok

                    I gave it to the one of Nokia care Centre (Anurag Marketing, Nagpur ) for repairing on date 28.05.08 but on date 13.06.08 they returned my handset and told that it has been dead during repairing. Mother board my set and other components of my set are destroyed during repairing work.

                    My question is that why Nokia care centre was not able to repair such common problem and why was mother board and other part damaged during repairing while volume sound and other function was ok.

                    If Nokia care is not able to repair such common problem of their own handset and they to damage during repairing, then where customers should believe.

                    Nokia6600 — Against Authorised Service Centre

                    I purchased a Nokia6600(IMEI No [protected]) on 22 Dec 2005.So fer it was giving me very good service.For the last 4/5 months its ON/OFF swich was giving me trouble.I have shown the set to a local repairer but he was not able to give me the original switch.So,I decided to take it to the authorise Nokia Service Centre(MANASI,Sethpukur More,Barasat,Kolkata-700 124,India).They promised to give me the original Nokia switch.It is worth mentioning that the set was fully functioning.
                    After some time the repair man said that he can not service the set as its display unit is unseviceble.We tried to persude them that the set was fully serviceable,they did not listening me.I again came back to the local repairer and came to know that my display unit has been changed.
                    Now if the authorised service centre is doing this where shall we go? Is there any way to get my original display unit? Please look into the matter seriously.

                      Dear Team,

                      Subject: Problems faced after buying a Nokia handset.Model No-5610d-1

                      I bought a Nokia Handset model number- 5601d-1 and IMEI number- [protected] on 21/04/2008 .
                      Since that very day I am facing the problem of low audibility. I tried to get the same repaired at one of the authorized centers for Nokia but to no success.
                      Nokia care job no[protected]/080526/1 dated 26 may 2008.
                      The problem still persists. Even when the mode is changed to loud speaker, incoming voice is faint.
                      I have checked other sets of the same series and make. There was no audibility issue with them.
                      Request you to provide a resolution for the same ASAP.

                      Looking forward for an early revert on the same,

                      1) Low audibility
                      2) No option to stop the audio or video only pause and come out from there
                      3) Ringing volume also not satisfactory
                      4) Not satisfactory behavior from The Mobile Store & Nokia Care also. According to them, this is a manufacturing problem.

                      i recently bought nokia 5610d-1 and im having problems with it!
                      1)the recordings are not loud on the speakers
                      2)the phone restarts after continious playing of music.
                      3)the batteries do not give as much playback time as nokia says
                      ermmm...i think the price of the phone must put lower...about RM100 or RM250...better you put RM1.00 or 2.50 ONLY, buy nasi lemak also can

                        I bought NOKIA3110C phone on 10/09/2007 from NIRMAL TV CENTRE Address:sultanwind road, AMRITSAR-143001(PUNJAB) for . I opened the box when reach my home and realise that its sound seem to be not so clear.I go back to the dealer and compaint about it at the same date.Dealer said he is not liable and suggest me to go to the customercare which is at R.S.Tower, hall bazar, AMRITSAR.Cutomercare changed the RINGER of new purchased phone and give it back to me. But this works for only 5-6 days.After that they have chaged its same part 3 times and at every time wash phone's memory but still my phone is facing the same problem.Hardly for 20 days my phone would have worked in good manner.Today I go there again and they again says to change RINGER and submit phone for 1-2 days again.And advised me to sell phone and get new insted of solving this problem permanently.I want to complaint about bad behaviour of customercare and request NOKIA to please do the needfull and to not waste its customer's money and customer's faith in nokia brand

                        My Nokia3110c purchased on 01May 2008, have the common complaint restaring problem and automatic updating the music filesAnd the main one more complaint is the out speeker give qualityless sound with some vibration sound like damged speaker.And the display shows scanning lines regularly.I didnt expect this from NOKIA and very disappointed in ur service.and I have only one mobile, and for servicing that may take time.But mobile is very essential for my job.Without mobile i cant do my work. Please repply and give suggestion.

                          My battery which is of SERIES 5C is swollen and for the same purpose i have registered on the date[protected] but since then no action has been taken and i did not get my battery replaced yet.
                          When i open the site it shows the battery delivery is in process for the date[protected] but since then 8 MONTHS has gone passed but still i did not get the replacement of same.
                          Currently my battery has swollen to an extent that my mobile cover is not locking it. Also all nokia care centres have insufficient battery supply.
                          For this i can take a serious action as it is HARMFULL TO ME and it can BLAST any time.
                          So, please consider my request to replace my battery as early as possible and please reply on my email id.

                            I would like to mention first that why i felt the need to write a mail to this level. I am totally disspointed and frustated with my Nokia phone and mainly the response and solution that i have got from your various service centres. None of them have been able to address the problem even to sub satisfaction levels.

                            Bought: Roughly 6 months back.

                            Since i have bought this phone, i having been facing a few problems. I have given it your service centres for more than 5 times. The phone, rouhgly has been at your centres for around 45 days total, if you can take a look at the history at your end. From the day one the problem of hanging and switching off in between is existing and everytime i am told thats its reparied and software problem, etc etc but STILL its the same. Now even the camera is not working. I have give the phone again to one o[censored]r servce centres few days back but same thing no response, ur customer care tells it will take 15 more days. So eventually my phone stays mroe with you then me but result is still the same, unrepaired.

                            I kindly request you to look into this matter. Please try to replace the phone as the its been many times i have to u for repairing and it has gone to all high levels ( once it was kept with you for a month). I hope you will understand that to what extent the problem is and my state of frustation.

                            Lookin forward for "Nokia Standard" Response.

                              i took Nokia N72 on 16-may-08 from univercell telecommunications india private limited
                              Ameerpet Hyderabad andhra pradesh india. on first day charger is not working properly, when complained aganist, then they replaced it. i observed Nokia N72 for 10 days battery is not working properly back up is not good charging is last only for 1 hour 12 minutes only. when i complained they chaged the software of the cell from nokia care, and they observed for 5 days but battery is not supporting. i compalined on 10-june-08 about battery but they are asking the 15 days of time to replace.

                              i am suffering with lots of problems with nokia N72 series i am feeling so disgusted and mental pressure about nokia N72 i want you to take special care to solve the problem

                                Sir, I have purchased the nokia 2626 set from Essar telecom retail ltd. Jain complex Russal chowk Jabalpur on 16/01/08 vide invoice no. MP/01394/0001/2405. My set no. is IMEI:[protected]. The battery of the mobile is not working properly. The same has checked by the nokia care Jain complex Jabalpur on 16/06/08 and he inform that the battery is not original. I have contacted the firm from where i have purchased the set and the firm has denied that they have supplied the duplicate battery. The battery is BL-5C and no. is[protected]k[protected]. Kindly confirm that the same battery is provided in my set or any other battery. Please indicate the battery no. if other battery is packed by the nokia in above set.

                                  Dear Sir/Ma'am,

                                  This is regarding my Nokia Mobile nokia1110, IMEI no. [protected], which is under warranty, recently it developed a fault, that "8" button wasn't functioning, I took it to Nokia Care SCF 71-72, Sector-15 Market, Fardabad. They said it's because of liquid damage, and seeked 450/-. Whereas there was no corrossion found in the circuit. I defended but all went in deaf ears,

                                  As i was sure in my statement i decided to get it repair from a local shop for they insisted me to pay 55/- for estimation check, despite the warranty status, they mentioned NO WARRANTY. Moreover harrased me also.

                                  Later on when i showed it to two local dealers, both confirmed the same fault i:e keypad circuit wasn't functioning properly also acknowledged that there isn't any liquid component present. Now my set is working fine in just 200/-.

                                  I request the concern authorities to take sufficient step against these authorized dealers who just cheat the customers on any behest, What's the point of having warranty when we are being duped in this way.

                                  Kindly help, as we have a great trust in Nokia Brand.

                                  Nokia — Warranty denial

                                  On October 27, 2011, my Nokia handset E52 became dead while charging. I immediately went to Nokia Priority Centre in R.T NAGAR as the purchase was made less than a year ago & was under warranty period.I was directed to the Nokia Care Center at R.T.NAGAR. As communicated by the Nokia Care centre (SHILAK Inc), the phone was registered under physical damaged & the reason given was circuit "Board Bended". Hence it can’t be repaired under Warranty & declared warranty void. Iwas inforemed that the estimate cost & damage would be informed by 2-3 hours. However after followup I was informed that 2-3 components of the circuit board had damaged & it would cost Rs 3000/- (min) for the hardware replacement and will take 10 working days. I sought clarrification from them as to how would a circuit board bend inside a phone & reported as physical damage (to ensure Warranty voidness), for which no satisfactory response was given. As the damage is for the components of the circuit board which happened while charging the phone instrument & that the phone was under warranty period, I see this as cheating on part of the Nokia Customer care to make the customer pay for their costs.
                                  I am surprised that Global Giant like NOKIA has appointed such customer care centre which is customer unfriendly & tarnishes the image of the organisation.
                                  I hope to see a response if the organisation believes in ETHICAL PRACTICES.

                                  2. try contacting tv channel's consumer protection programs on cnbc awaaz and bloomberg utv. i sometime see these programs and have found if they take up case like this, the companies suddenly become axious to resolve the issue. you may try your luck.

                                  there must have been mfg defect that's circuit board has bended. but dealers and service centres generally have tendency of not accepting it to be a mfg defect when repair is costly.
