Hi,
I received an email that from Nokia Lotto stating that I have won a prize money of One Million Five Hundred Thousand Great Britain Pounds(1,500,000 GBP), vide TICKET NO: [protected] &
Ref: NKN/UK 110241/01.
I have been receiving several emails since yesterday in this regard. In the beginning i ignored the mail & treated it as a spam, but then by evening similar mails started pouring in. Therefore, i went through the details & finally out of disgust, I made a call to the following guys:

Also i am surprised the way a reputed website like Yahoo! has promoted this scheme under the name "Yahoo New Year Financial Promotion".

I saaw a reader who was asking if the winnings of the Nokia N'series was legit, and I can easily assure her/him ( sorry, I'm not familiar with Indian names) that this is a scam.     i had sent my Nokia 6233 headset for replacement on 5 dec 07 & i received it on 31 jan after 25 long days. but now the problem is that they have given me the headset of 6233 music edition which is of white color. my piece is without music edition & it has black color headset with VOLUME control on it. but the new replaced haedset does not have that facility of VOLUME control & is not at all matchng with my balck color handset because of white color headset. how careless kind of replacement they have given me. its very bad & now they are not giving me the replacement of black color headset.

    is this a way to solve the query of your customers????
    n if this is the way then what is the use of there big brand name???

      I bought Nokia N70 in May 2007. From that very time the software was very slow, but someone tell me that the software of N series is slow as compared to other models. But then it starts hanging. I already i have 1 GB card in that and has enough space to load songs, but when i try to load songs then it shows " music player not enough to support memory" altough the memory card shows arnd 1 GB memory. I bring it into the notice of Nokia Care in Gurgaon 3 times, but still that complaint is not resolved. I already had waste so much of time in Nokia Care but all goes in vain, as the same problem still exists. And now some of its keys are even not working, and the guys in nokia care always says the problem in Software & reinstall it every time but no solution.So i am sending this complaint to your website as i dnt want to criticise nokia, because this problem can be of handset not of company.So please do something in this regard, either change my handset as it is stll in warranty period or do something, as i am very much frustrated with this problem

        I bought a Nokia 2630 last week and it have software problem. It hangs every time i rceive a call. my retailer through whom i bought the mobile and Nokia care people fails to replace me with a new mobile.

        We trust big brand like Nokia and why dont they pay back us or replace us with a new mobile

            I purchased Nokia 6233 last year in December. Only three months after this purchase, the phone had reception problems. It was sent to customer care/service centre at vadodara and surat. After a month, it was replaced with another handset (which was used one, not new). The replaced handset started giving problems within a month. The phone was getting hung while memory card access.

            Since then, i have sent the handset for almost three times at various nokia service centres and customer care centres but i have still not got the problem solved. The problem remained as it is after a year also. The handset has memory problem.

            I am fed up with the nokia customer care services.

            i want to know how many customer care centre in surat city?
            and i also want to know all customer care's contact numbers of surat city.
            dont go to nokia care centers!!! I also own a 6233 and suddenly it bogged down. When I consulted a nokia care center here in the Philippines (alabang branch) they told me that they need to change some part.They also reminded me that it is not an assurance that it will still work because the phone was not bought here in the Phils.
            Well I was told by other repair centers that my problem is only software which can be reformatted. Thats why I went to a NOKIA just to make sure everything will be taken cared of. But it turned out they are more WORSE. They have to change a part - imagine that?!!! Nokia?!!!

            In the end I went to a small repair center and had it reformatted. IT WORKED and it hasnt bogged down to this day!

            Know what these Nokia Care Centers, since you cant see visually what they are doin' on your fone, they can easily change some parts without you knowing!

            I thought small repair centers do these unscrupulous things.

            Maybe NOKIA should BE AWARE of these PROBLEMS. Their representatives are ruining their IMAGE!

              Hi I saw the program on CNBC peheradar the show is very good and i would wish

              I have an issue with nokia n 95 Handset
              which i purchased in the month of july for 32 thousand rupees
              i had a hanging problem and the the power shuts down automatically
              so i gave my handset to nokia care at kormangala service center for rectifying the issue
              at the time when i gave my handset to nokia care it was working condition
              and i got a call from nokia care on the nextday that there is a liquid damage
              but however there was no liquid damage when i delivered my handset to them
              and the manager told me that the handset should be set to chennai for rectifying the issue
              after one and half months i got my cell back in dead condition
              and the manager told to the handset cant be repaired.
              i told the manager when the handset i gave to you i was fine and liquid damange only the problem i had is phone hangs and pone switch off automatically and if there was a liquid damage earlier hw the cell phone works.
              he game a toll free number of nokia and asked me to complain about this issue
              but no result
              then i took the same handset to Nokia care jayanagar branch
              and they told me that the handset is tampered i told them that i was done by Nokia care kormangala branch
              and they too came out with the same answer phone cannot be repaired
              and also they charged me Rs 110/- inspection charges
              i am really disappointed with the service provided by Nokia
              and i want to ask one Question to Nokia care that why the prepare these kinds of handsets which their own company cannot rectify the problem and also do other damages to the cell phone by the branches?

              I hope that i will get the issue sort by CNBC Pheredar

              I m Meenal Chawla & i Had a Demat A/c with Anget broking . I kept my 30000/- Inr there to purchase Reliance Power. In the meanwhile Mr Raghu, the executive of Angel broking purchsed shares twice & thrice with my acceptance & sold it but one Day he purchesed 70 Reliane Capital without my acceptance. After 8 or 9 days i called up him in the office that Raghu i didnt recieve any of your call Wats going on & then he told me Mam i purchased Reliance Capital for You 70 shares. When I called up in the Pitampura Branch & spoken to Mr Roopak Aggarwal...he told me that he ll sot out the matter positively & even there was no voice recording of mine coz never ever I gave the acceptance for the shares even i was not aware when thses shares were purchesed. Atlast he said i cant help you out speak with the Vice President Mr Satyen Mishra... I called up him so many times & even send him a mail but no resonse through mail. At last when i called up him he said do wat you can do. I cant help you out in this matter.

              because cheaters will be cheaters.

              u should be intelligent.

              first of all if raghu had brought shares without ur permission.

              u should have either bought a recording mobile or phone.

              then u should have speak to raghu about purchasing shares without permission and record it and then u should take copy of this recording and show it to manager and after that to raghu if both of them denies to pay lossess just go to court...thats all

                earlier i had nokia 6225 model and then i purchased a new 6275 and transferd the no. to new mobile.
                unfortunately i lost new set and so i want to immeaditely switchover to my earlier 6225 model but for that rel personal are asking for RSN no. but unfortunately the no. is not their neither in mobile nor i am having that box. pl. help me to find it.
                also i want to make disable my new lost 6275 so that nobody can use that i asked to rel. and nokia cust. care for both problems but they are not giving any proper reply nor any solution.

                  It has been a great discomfort to me because of the new Nokia N-72 that I had bought a month back , to tell about my self I am a Nokia customer using 1108 and N70 from the past one year , now recently bough one Nokia N-72 from Big Bazaar , Mangalore .
                  From the day I had bought this set I had been facing problems like the set was getting hanged and the display keeps blinking when opening new create message and the set getting slow day by day , then the concern was taken forward to the nokia care in mangalore and they told that they had to get the display unit changed and I agreed for that also , I don’t know what happened then after two days while I came to take my set I still found the same old problem ,and while consulting I came to know that most of the handset having the same problem , also so I had asked for an proper piece and after a long struggle I was successful in that also , wherein after a period of 10 days I go the set exchanged after speaking to Mr .Prasad “ Customer care head south zone” on the promise by Mr.prasad that I will be given a brand new handset , and I also believed that Nokia as a brand confidence that I will be given a brand new set but,
                  The set that was given to me was a scrap set and now the set has got a serious problem that I am not able to hear ie the ear piece is not working properly when consulted to the nokia care I got the information, and also now I am not able to even sell the set in a good value cos the vendor is not agreeing for the scrap sets to give a better value , I am now feeling that I am being cheated by nokia its not only a open cheat , its like trapping a customer and cheating … cos when I asked that I would be given a statement of exchange so that I will deposit the problematic set in nokia care and get an exchange in big bazaar only where I have bought the set , cos now I don’t believe in nokia executives any more for anything, they might give a still problematic set to me , and also I do not want my new set to be tampered so soon ,
                  Kindly give importance to my problem and get me the statement for exchane of the problematic handset in big bazaar …. Cos they are the guys who have sold the problematic set first of all..

                  Ps Note : This mail is been written with a confidence on the customer service of the Nokia company , if not got a good reply then it will be left as it is and only I will be the bad customer who has got all my 100 above friends using nokia and their friends ready to buy nokia to share my harsh experiences with them , not to forget my friends who have got two sets replaced and are still facing the problems with the new set given , please scrap all the scrap sets , do not allow it into the market again it’s a kind request as customer .

                  Nokia N72 — Replacement not received

                  I am Vinayak Garg, and I purchased N72 in Nov 2007.

                  In first week of June 2008, all of a sudden the phone went Dead, and I submitted it to Nokia Care Centre.

                  I submitted my phone on 7th June 2008, but I am yet to receive a replacement. I am being told at the Nokia Care Center, that a replacement was sent by the company but that too was defective.

                  - I have had so much inconvenience, had to buy a new phone for interim period and also lost 2 month woth of warranty, how will that be compensated?


                  Please look into the matter and expedite replacement procedure.

                  Also ensure that I get a new working phone as replacement.

                  Nokia — N 72

                  I had purchased a Nokia phone N72 from Big Bazaar, Wazirpur Delhi; on[protected].I had been a satisfied customer of Nokia phones till then. I needed to upgrade my phone from 6610i and being a neurosurgeon my prime and only use was to have a decent looking phone with good battery back up. I do not have the time to use the complicated features the phone offers. The next thing I understood soon as that the battery was not lasting more than a day, even though my talk time was never too extensive, since I have to keep my phone free (about 100 hours till now). I persisted and then adjusted with the little battery time even though I was disgusted with it. You know as a customer the biggest draw towards Nokia phones is the battery time. And then after one and half months I saw that the keypad was driving me crazy as I would press something and something else would appear. Now this was very much trouble some and for this I kept another phone with a different Sim card to make calls. Since my phone book in Nokia N 72 was about 650, I could not afford to put it off. I had to make many of the calls through the other phone. I however did not have enough time to find out from a care center about what to do but was sure that once I do so they would rectify the problem. This is the second big reason why the customers prefer to purchase Nokia phones. I saw the website and since I stay in central Delhi, the closest to me would have been one touch communication in Patel Nagar, and I called them up, they would not pick p the phone. I called up center in Pitampura and they picked up at once and gave me the number 30303838, and I spoke to Mr. Pramod who was kind enough to guide me that I should speak to the care center by going personally. I did that and when I spoke to Mr Manish today who attended my complaint he told me that these phones have a basic defect and that these problems were common. Then he said suddenly that you must have put your phone in water, and before inspecting he had made the decision that the water would have caused the problems. And then he opened the phone and when he could not see anything to suggest the water anywhere, he said that it must have evaporated and gleefully said that since your warranty gets over because of this we will not do anything further. I asked what about the battery, and he said that you complain to the same number 30303838. I asked him if there was any senior person whom I can meet, and to that he stared saying angrily that you go and complain to the company now, take my name and number and you can do whatever you can. I was surprised, shocked and stunned by his behaviour. I have been using the Nokia phones for past 6 years now and i never had to go to the support center till now. This was my first visit and the most horrifying. As I understand the situation now I do not have a video evidence of this episode but there were 3-4 other customers who saw all this but I do not think anyone would testify for this, and neither I have enough time for this. I may not even go for the repair or replacement of the handset and plan to purchase some other set. I will first go to the care center of the company whose phone I intend to purchase and then would do so. But even though I say and think so, I feel deeply hurt because there have never been such experiences in my life, and sometimes I feel that I should not lose my trust because of the indifference shown by a single person. I just thought that I should bring about this feedback to prevent any more similar episodes in future.
                  After all this horrendous experience I do not wish to get any further on this accord but I just wanted to bring it to your notice as I felt that feedback is the way a company improves its services; even though honestly saying it pains me to write such a feedback to such an esteemed company as yours for such a small issue as this. I had to arrange a lot of courage and my time to do this.

                  We are shocked to bring to your knowledge that we have purchased the above-noted set on 15-09-07 which is infested with certain technical problems. The key Pad of Set is not working properly. The Screen Light of phone is also not working properply. The phone also hangs.
                  As the Mobile is under warranty period, we approached Nokia Care at Hotel Zoom Building-Ludhiana on 14-08-08 and 28-08-08 for the repair/replacement of the set.But the Nokia care team refused to replace and even to repair the set.They asked us to pay Rs.2500/- as the estimated cost of Phone repair.
                  After one month when we approached Nokia care to know the status of Set they told us that its some components has totally damaged due to some liquid entered inside the set, such as sweat etc.and set cann't be repaired.
                  As it is a technical designing Fault of set due to which the sweat entered inside the Set and even at the time of Purchasing the set we were also not instructed by the company/Dealer that the same set can be used only at the minimum weather temperature.

                  Since we have purchased the phone at a very dear price and We are suffering our business due to non availability of Set for more than one month period, we expect full value for our money and ask you to replace the set at the earliest. Also ensure that such problems do not creep up in future and that our faith in Nokia remains undaunted.

                  there was some problem in my N 70..i sent my phone to nokia care centre..when i went there, they gave me other mobile..i said this was not my mobile..they said this was your mobile..so i had to take that mobile..i fought with them but they simply said sorry...i want strict action..otherwise i would go in consumer court..

                  As the Mobile is under warranty period, we approached Nokia Care at HCL green park, New Delhi on September 08 and it has three times bounce from nokia service center and a lot of discussion with nokia service center at Bangalore via mobile, the agreed to replace it, and suddenly this nokia center has been closed in 31 December 2008.

                  After closing of service center they have returned my mobile on 11th Jan 2009. At center we check our new set, but it has some network problem. Immediately, same day I asked to center but they said, our center has been closed, we are only response to return the set which has earlier submitted in our center, we can't submit your set for checking, you can submit it to other service center.

                  Now I go to Nokia Communication service center, near south Axe, New Delhi, They open the set and said it is only software updating problem, the simply update and return me. Still it has the same problem and again goes to same center, the Nokia care team refused to replace and even to repair the set. They said it is damaged we can't repair under warranty; you have to pay Rs. 3200 for repair.

                  Same problem, we discussed with Nokia Service center at Allahabad, they said it is under warranty, but it is risky to repair, if you will submit your set then we will not be responsible for and damage.
                  What can do in such case?


                  Since we have purchased the Nokia N72 set at a very dear price and we are suffering our business due to non-availability of Set for around one year period, we expect full value for our money and ask you to replace the set at the earliest. Also ensure that such problems do not creep up in future and that our faith in Nokia remains undaunted.

                    Hi,

                    I never seen so worst and poor service center like Nokia Care.their employee does not have manners to deal with their customers. For last six months i am struggling with Nokia Care, i have given my mobile for low bettery and network problem. Nokia Care not responding properly on time, for small things they tooks 15-20 days to repaire, some time more then that and some time they don't do anything and just return without doing anything.
                    My name is Ritesh Kesharwani, am living in india,State: Maharastra City:Pune Area: Shivaji Nagar.
                    I would recommanded do not purchase Nokia Product at all, because you wouldn't get proper service.

                      I have missed by mobile phone on 24.12.2007 by 08.00 am morning while proceeding to my office where I am employed in BHEL, Medical department, Trichy.

                      I am using this service since 2006, unfortunatily my mobile was lost. I have launched the complaint to concern authorities subject to BAR my number.

                      From this I request BSNL organisation to BAR my SIM CARD and my service number of[protected].

                      If my lost mobile phone found in future, I may request yours for to activate for my usage.

                      Till such time, I request to stop / deactivate of my SIM CARD due to avoid my excess usage charges in my bill.

                      Please, do the needful at the earliest and do acknowledge.

                        I am Bhagesh Puri; I am working with Xavient Software Solutions, Noida. I purchased a NOKIA 7610 in the month of April 2006.
                        It stopped working few days ago so I gave it for repair at NOKIA CARE, Sector 2, Noida -201301. When I gave it for repair it was working fine, the only problem I faced was that it was dead.

                        The moment you will press the ON/OFF button it will give you the white light, however it will not show you NOKIA on the screen and the white light goes away.

                        Now I got it repaired for Rs. 675. It is working now but it hangs a lot when I will try to open the Camera and at times if I will click some pictures it will give me half blank picture.

                        And the other problem which has started now is that my voice echo a lot whenever I talk to someone and the other persons voice comes a bit distorted as if the speaker is damaged but I have checked the loudspeaker also it’s the same.

                        These problems were not there previously.

                        I tried changing the SIM but the problem is the same. I think that it was not repaired properly. I am sorry to say this but I am telling you what I feel.

                        I don’t know what to do now as I have already paid the money. So could you please help me regarding this.

                          Sir,
                          I bought T-Mobile in Chicago USA , but now I want to use my mobile in INDIA.I had called the T-Mobile customer care today. They gave me the unlock code for my mobile nokia 5300.I entered the unlock code and it said " sim was not restricted " instead of "sim 'is' not restricted".
                          Does this mean that my mobile was already unlocked. I remember I tried it once in USA also after asking T-Mobile customer care, but still it is showing no network coverage??
                          Please suggest what shall I do so that I get network coverage in INDIA.Is there any setting changes I need to do in my mobile??

                          Nokia 5300 — not yet started my number

                          from yesterday my number [protected] is not been started so plz kindly started this number and forward this to ur senior officer who is incharge of this team

                          Nokia 5300 — loudspeaker not works properly

                          I m belong to karnal (HR). my number is [protected] nokia dont care about my product.i have nokia 5300. My 5300 mobile under warranty period.but they dont solved my problems.
                          I also had nokia 5300 from USA..
                          I unlocked it successfully..and it does not show any coverage in India except for Airtel...
                          I asked my sister in India to check with Airtel SIM card and it worked..but it does not work for any other SIM cards..
                          Is anyone facing the same problem??

                            The brand new Nokia 2310 Mobile phone bought was found to be faulty & did not work. Nokia Care does not want to replace the unit which could not be operated at all, but insist on repairing it, which is not acceptable. Such a reputed company supplying poor quality product in Indian markets is shocking!

                            i purchase nokia 1208 but seller did not give me scratch card they told me scratch card is not available, every day they told us come tomorrow, what can i do

                            hi iam ishan dutta from gurdaspur, punjab. ihav purchased Nokia 5800 music phone for Rs. 20, 000, but it has started giing problems. it does not open any menu items and replies that Memory full close other applications and try again even thogh there is no application opened.I contacted local Nokia customer care centre and after 2-3 attempts on repair, they send the phone to Delhi for repair for 12 days. The phone has just came tommorrow and noew in the morning it has started the same problem. So even Delhi was not able to repair it, so I request u to take some action quickly and help me find my Problem

                            2310 — customer care not satisfactory

                            When I asked meaning of Liquid damages and reply is not liquid but may be damages by spit.I also says that Nokia should care and protect sets from spit.                             Nokia — Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Faulty Device handed over

                            Hi have purchased Nokia 5800 XpresMusic handset in May 2010.Since then I have submiteed my handset in the nokia care for three times till now.There is no incoming or outgoing with the headset while callig.Every time they say its reapired and done, but within a week I have to again submit it for the same reason.It has been sent twice to Delhi for repair.Also my handset parts were replaced and I had to fight out with the nokia care guys to get a changed part.This is very annoying and irritating.I want a replacement for the handset,i mean a new handset.We have got the worst service for such a costly model.I have invested 14000 bucks for that handset and Now its a causing me lot of problems , also due to this I have missed many of important business calls.                               1. The Battery gets drained within half a day.
                              2. The set gets heated within 2 minutes of attending the call
                              3. Gets switched off automatically
                              4. I purchsed this nokia 2630 set from Nokia Priority Dealer, 395, 100 Feet Road, Opp. to Ganga Yamuna Kaveri Theatre, Coimbatore 641 012 vide Bill No.5481 dated 4/11/2007 with one year warranty. I approached them with the above mentioned problems but was asked to contact Nokia Care, Shop No.4 & 5, Century Towers, 636, Sathy Road, Near G P Hospital, Gandhipuram,Coimbatore 641 012 Tamilnadu, India.
                              5. I had given my mobile for computerised checking at Nokia Care, Shop No.4 & 5, Century Towers, 636, Sathy Road, Near G P Hospital, Gandhipuram,Coimbatore 641 012 Tamilnadu, India.. But no proper response.
                              6. I then again approached the dealer from whom I purchased the set with the above mentioned problems but the response to these problems were not to my satisfaction and I am still having these problems with the set.
                              Due to the reputation of Nokia I purchased this set which is a new model recently introduced. Kindly Instruct your Nokia Dealer to get back my defective set replaced with set in good working condition. I expect your early reply to my mail

After using 10 to 12 days the mobile is auto restart then I visited to you Nokia Care In Tollygunge, they said this is Software Problem and update a new Software in my phone. From then to till today I updated the software in my mobile at least 6 to 7 time. Today i.e. 22/12/2007 again same thing happen and I visit to your Nokia Care and tell them this is very dificult to use the phoen in this condition, please change my mobile.                                 My Previous three Job Sheet No. - 1005/2, 1011/60, 1115/7

                                So, I request you to please make a decision about the my handset. I am not able to use this set longer because all time the same thing happen. This is not possible to come to your Nokia Care all time to doing a job in a Privae Company you know better. I bye a Nokia Product to belive this is better in market but this set is change my mind because this 3 months give me a lot of experience about your product. I never use this phone's features like music player or camera or video camera or memory card because I all time feared that my phone is again restart.

                                This is my humbly request you to please change the set or if possible please give me a another Nokia Set because I am very disatisfied with the Nokia 3110c. Please do the needfurl and oblige.

                                While am inserting Memory cared my restarting aganin n aganin. after swatching of againg am swtching on also its restarting. after updating software also am facing problem. plz give the permnent solutation for Nokia 3110c Mobile. features like music player or camera or video camera or memory card because I all time feared that my phone is again restart.

                                  When you donot know how to take care of your customers then why are you running a company. We bought nokia3230 in 22-8-07 and we are paying for that becouse just after three month its camera stopped working and we complain in nokia care office of Bhilai named Chattisgarh electronics on 15-12-07 they said that there is some software problem and it is needed to send to company and take a lot of time up to two months then we came back.After two to three days we conformed to leave this mobile to for two months,and now they open the whole mobile upto its end there is some component missing they havenot specified that it is a camera component and some other.Now they want rRs2500 to repair it.We are not going to pay a singlepaisa during its warranty period.So you please make away for us in just two to three days or replace this mobile.Please make early decision and callus on [protected].

                                  3230 — Missing components after repair

                                  Good Day Sir / Madam,

                                  Wish to inform the followings:

                                  I switched off my phone model 3230 (Nokia) during an office visit but after switching on found that display was litting for a couple of minutes then going off and not getting switched on.

                                  The set was shown to Nokia Care center Mohali (Job sheet no. 1535 dated 10/03/09). The S/E told me that problem is either with the display unit or IC had gone bad. Then he checked the set and said that IC needs replacement. The set was given to them in the morning of 10th March 09 and I was told to collect in the evening. Self called the nokia care in the evening and was told that IC was replaced but still not working. Self visited the Nokia care after above conversation on phone and was told that Power IC needs renewal. Charges will be Rs 1000/- but chances are 50-50 i.e. either set will start functioning or will become useless. Self got the set back as they were not sure. Self went to another repair shop and the mechanic opened the set in front of me and found that two IC were missing.

                                  Self went back to Nokia Service Centre immediately thinking that the S/E had forgotten to put components back in place. But to my surprize, the S/E who handled the set flatly refused.

                                  I have no other option but to buy another Nokia set and had already bought one.

                                  In the meantime, self is also trying to get same repaired from outside.

                                  Please look into the matter. Nokia is a great company and self always use Nokia Sets only.

                                    I am a resident of Gandhidham, a town in Kutch District of Gujarat, India. Some days back I had encountered some audio related problems in my Nokia N72 handset.

                                      I am Sandeep Kumar from supoul bihar. I buy your Nokia model 2310 in August 2007. Currently I am new delhi.But since few days,any call is coming or outgoing there is no any voice but call is activated .But i can not know about that call. Due to which a lots of problem is faced by me .

                                      nokia 2310 — balance related problem

                                      my set cell no [protected] i have problem in my cell.my bsnl
                                      my problem is the call rates are too high as compared to my original planning rate. it is a 89 power voucher where the call rate is minimum in other networks but in my case it is more than the original call rates. whenever i call from my cell to other network in locality i am charged more tahn my call rates as laid down in the original 89 power voucher.
                                      i have lodged a lot of complaint to the call centre and my compplain number is "2764554", "2813961". but thgere was no response from the authority .please help me out in this case.
