i had purchased the 1.5 tonnes split ac of Onida company, model is Grill on 7-5-08 from Punjab tv house, sarhandi gate, Malerkotla-148023 (pb). from the very begining i am complaining for improper cooling of ac to my dealer.Dealer had gave me the tel.no. of ludhiana complaint office. Repeatedly i had complain over there and every time they send a serviceman but always he was unable to satisfy me.Then i contacted patiala office, they were also cant satisfy me, they said that the area is bigger where ac is installed, the area is 10' into 20', if it is so then why even i never feel chilly although my sitting place is just under the ac and secondily at the time of installation of machine no body had suggested me that 1.5tonne is insufficient for this place neigther the dealer nor the company men but i am suffering from it .Please do the needfull at the earliest.

I purchase 1.0 ton split A.C. from Vasanth & Co., Mylapore, Chennai-4 on 24.2.2009 and asked for three star rater and the bill also refect the same. But to my utter disappointment on viewing the date of manufacture it was manufacture during 2/2008, where there was no production of star grade at that time.

Further the cooling is also very insufficient, even in 16 degree is very meagre.

Further, only after persistent callls from me only the Company has sent for demonstration and service is very poor.

I repent for purchasing a low profile product.

    This is the worst TV I have ever had in my life time and upon then it is the worst service experience. I purchased a Onida 21" Theatre tv with woofer and additional speakers with theatre system. The picture zooms automatically, woofer never worked till date and even after problem was solved, the same problem gets evolved again and again after short period. The company warranty got over and now they want charges even to visit me. Till date I have never heard the woofer system, the picture is zoomed and there are only 30 tv channels inside, so it hardly matters whether its a normal tv or a theatere tv.

    onida ky theatre — not working products and poor service centres

    I am the consumer of so many onida products like A/c, washing machine, TV etc. First we got the complaint of a/c and I informed your service centre they didn't attend, then we got the complaint of TV. Then also we informed your service centre, they attend the complaint but they can't repair, the reason they told that spare part is not available. As a world wide established esteemed comapany, we never expect as irresponcible dealing from your service centre. They spoil our trust with your product. We hope, as a normal person you will consider and solve our proble as early as possible
    I am expecting a soon reply and action.

    You are 100% correct. We have bought the same TV and it got completely failed (with the
    noise of picture like diwali crackers for several times) just even before 4 years. Now,
    no hopes o[censored]sing those SPEAKERS attached to TV given for music mode.
    NEVER BUY ONIDA TV
    ONIDA zooming issue is there with me too. I dont know why this problem occurs?
    Are there anyone working for Onida showroom can help me?
    Automatically the picture got zoomed and the picture is cutting out.
    Is there a solution. Please let me know.
    And now the picture is fuzzy and of course the TV is out of warranty and worst of all the part it needs to fix is not available in India it is a Chinese IC. Stupid company with stupid product. Please spread the words so others don't get ripped off.

      I Had bought 1.5 ton window ac last year . after three days of purchase the ac is not working your service station people is repair it in seven days this time there is a noise in fan moter as per your machinic talk this noise is gone after some time but this noise is increaseing before one month back I complaint again regarding noise of fan moter too much machinic visited my home and check the ac and he said that moter will be change he open the moter for change still it pending from last seven days I am living in Rajasthan In Bikaner There Weather Tempreature is 46 Digree you know that a Huge probleme for my Family. Nobody responce me Properly from your service station end.

        I made a call on[protected] on 4th july 2009 to Ms. Mamta for filling up gas as it was suggested by the service man of Adoni service center man fro Ahmedabad center. She told that on Monday 6th July 2009 she will send person . As I am doing job I had taken a leave on that day, she called me in noon that she will send it on tuesday 7th july but no one came .

        When I called this morning on 8th july she replied that she will do somthing, it means she is not sure that she will send any or not. Finally I talked to in-charge Mr. Akhtar, but he was not aware about anything so ...

        Since past 4 years they are using the same pattern. Attend the call, give any fix date and no one come for the complaint .

        onida split a.c 1.5 ton — ist servicing

        Dear sir/ Madam,

        I have booked a comlaint on phone regarding the ist servicing of my split A.C 1.5 Ton. From last one month the A.C is not giving cooling effect.
        COMPLAINT NO. [protected] DATED : 11/10/10.

        There is no response from your side till date. what is the issue . when the customer purchases of your band the goods that time you have commited that there is no problem in service, then why this thing is hapening.

          Dear Sir,
          A complaint was lodged on 29/06/2009 regarding non-working of TV. The next day 30/06/2009 one Service man attended and told that the ONE bord is to be replaced. He wanted to come next day with bord i.e on 01/07/2009 but nobody has turned up so far. I gave a ring to Mr. Khadarbhasha stated to be incharge of service centre (many a times), he has not responded properly. His mobile no is [protected] and his office no.[protected].

          I request you kindly to look after the case immedately. If not possible tell us clearly to go to Private repairer.

              I purchese onida split ac model no.SZ12GRL2. After 3 months of installation gas leaks from outdoor unit, and noise come from indoor unit, and cooling not come. i was complaint to nungambakkam, Chennai[16.06.09] ref.no.56381794. They told me that ur complaint attending witheen 4 days.But onida company not attending the problem.please attend the problem. VERY VERY POOR SERVICE OF ONIDA .

              i am also highly dissatified with onida customer care, even after registering complaint 5 times, no one has turned up till now, there is no cooling at all in my split a.cv. which i purchased on 13th dec'09 vide bill no. 30136 from m/s, hari om electronics, ashok vihar, new delhi -110052, prior to this also i complained several times for free service, after lot of follw ups with customer care, one boy turned up with very poor approach & said that waht vere comment you want to write on paper you do it, i am least bothered. therefore, i request you to pl. look into the matter & help me in sorting out my problem.

                I am very sorry to declare that renowned Company like ONIDA manufacturing defective TV pieces and also very poor services and responses.

                Hereunder is the list of complains which I have in my record and against that I have taken every time pain to restart my faulty TV.

                Considering above complains I would have paid half time of TV cost for the repairing only.

                In past I have corresponded to your representative Ms. Mona (Mumbai Office) to replace this defective TV with new one but any action was not taken from your Mumabi office. Your ONIDA Vadodara service representatives are also fed-up & they have informed that this is being faulty piece and their Quality control department has deviated their norms... While the visit they have inform that there might be spark problem in the Picture tube / Yoke problem / Once after so many visit we have requested to resolve the problem and they have change the circuit board.

                During the breakdown visit ONIDA representative have broken the slot for the Bass woofer that also needs to be highlighted, But still the Breakdown story goes on... Still Live

                This time I am very fedup demanded for the replacement of ONIDA make faulty piece.

                Sir,

                Even I have faced the same kind of service issue. I bought a Onida 29 Tru Slim and in the very first month it broke down. they said they changed the board and it took them 1 month to do this. again the tv broke down in its 4 month and now they say that they will hv to replace the board again. they kept quiet for a month and one fine morning called me up to say that they had the new board. i asked them to repay the money i had invested and i was not interested in their below par performing company both product wise and service wise.

                they say they will replace with any other brand of their.

                I sent them a legal notice and am going to now file a case against the company.

                    The capacity of the phone is huge. Also is having plenty of surprise menu point and it seems that Onida was trying to do his best.
                    But Basics bugs make the use of the phone as such, a real trouble.
                    Synchronisation to computer dont work at all.
                    The Menu logic is poor and not consistent. This means that the menu distribution change depending on the activity. It seems that each activity was designed from a different group, and no coordination was in between them was done.

                    BUGS:
                    - Phone dont allways recognised that RINGING is finished and the connection is executed. Therefor further menu acess is not possible, as th ephone believe to be in ringing mode.

                    - MENU access after Connection: Phone dont allways recognised that RINGING is finished and the connection is executed and accessing MENU is not possible (therefor activities such as reading Phone number, Voice recorder, Agenda and Task controll are not possible)

                    - Loudspeaker: is only available once the line have been connected, mean RINGING mode is finalised. It needs to be ON before starting Dialing. Many time also not available even after connection is executed, as mentionned above.

                    - LOCKED: once the phone goes to KeyLock mode, LCD is going in on mode after pressing any key. This is not very nice as is constantly ON while phone is in the pocket any keys are pressed . It should goes ON only when the Unlocked Key is pressed. This will also improve baterry consumption.

                    - ONCE in MENU, LCD display is going to OFF after time out, but Keylock is not activated. Results can be desastrous.

                    - Menu Point: "PhoneBook", "EXTRA NUMBER" is supposed to be within "SETTING", "DUAL SIM SETTING".

                    - DISPLAY SETUP: SHOW OWNER NUMBER dont work, it shows OWNERS NAME.

                    - DIALING 2#, 3# etc: result no Phonebook Entry. While it is supposed to dial the 2nd entry in phonebook or SIM.

                    - FLASH LIGHT: is under ORGANIZER, instead of SETTING

                    - E-BOOK reader: is ONLY a TXT-REader

                    - VIDEO: the video recorder is not able to record medium to high resolution video without interuption.

                    - FM radio: dont work without the earphone.

                    -PC Sync: only the Phonebook in SIM can be synchronised. All rest is buggy.

                    How to:
                    - Removing ON and OFF Noise/Music. This is very disgusting in a meeting to switch off or ON the phone!!

                    - Removing all reconfirmation. Once we pressed DONE, confirmation "you really want to save" is not needed.

                    - Alarms: sound is just for 30 sec. SNOOZE only delay the next remembering. For Wake up it is needed that this sound ring for 10 min. As soon the phone is "touched" it should snoozed.

                    - NAME: All name in SIM are allway visualised. Normmaly SIM names are security copyes of DATA available in Phone for backup purposes. The available SIM format is mostly not very efficient. Those name should be only shown when configured to do so. The SIM can be copy to Phone memory and there is therfor no need of showing it again in NAMES.

                    - Flight Mode: the short cut switch on the flight mode. Once in Flight mode, the same short cut should remove the Flight mode to normal mode. Means the Mode available before Flight mode was taken.

                    - Improve the speed of searching for a name in the phonebook. The speed have been set to 1 sec per name. So It take 40min to go through the Phonebook, searching for 1 name between 2000 number.
                    If you press the first leter then it will go there, but after clearing it will restart from A. So you need to press all the alphabet if you need to search for a number you dont remember.
                    MISSING:
                    - CALLING CARDS facility are completly missing. Which is nothing as dialing before number a certain TEl. Nr, then Once Calls connect to send as tones the preprogrammed code, and the shoosen tel. Nr.

                    - VOICE DIALING: Voice recognition is standard, needed during car driving activities and is a MUST for security reason, available since more then 15 years even for lowest cost Cells. It is completely missing.

                    - CODES: Memorising a list of special CODES, codified with insured password is missing.

                    - PHONE, SETUP, DEDICATED KEYS: missing possibility of long KEY pressing. Even if LONG KEY PRESSING for middle key is activating LED Light. It cannot be reconfigured for other more important activity.

                    - TIME SETTING: Summertime saving correction is missing.

                    - Pressing KEY CALL (green Phone), the last Dialed Calls are shown. After pressing OK & OPTION. DELETE is the first Entry. This is not safe. Safe is SAVE to PHONEBOOK, EDIT, DIAL, "CALLING CARD CALL", "ADD TO AGENDA TASK" SEND SMS, MMS, and Last should be DELETE. DURATION of Last call is missing, if connection have not been recognised.

                    - AGENDA/ORGANIZER. SETUP, Daily view is missing

                    - TODO list: Own grouping is missing

                    - SHORTCUT: JAVA Aplication execution is missing

                    - How to short cut: VOICE RECORDER, START RECORDING, during Call with 1 or max. 2 Key pressed. Filename & Number should be given automatically. Renaming can be executed in later phase, after phone call is finished.

                    - OBEX is not supported. Therfor standard Sync application such as MyPhoneExplorer, FMA or GAMMU are not able to sync with the Phone. Partial sync in simple AT command are possible only for SIM phonebook, SMS and Info. All the rest is missing and cannot be synced.

                    - Possibility of reflashing, updating, upgrading the phone via FD, USB or Bluetooth is missing. This is for a Beta version an advantage, and supported from almost all wellnamed manufacturer.


                    3) Following have been found not work at ONIDA PHONESUITE. V2.4
                    - Outlook sync : crash Phonesuite during sync with Outlook 2002, Outlook 2003 under Vista Home.
                    - same for Lotus notes V2.4

                    - Export of Phonebook, agenda/organizer and Task are missing, therefore the Phone is for any syncing not usable. A phone which cannot be synced is of no use.

                    - Lightning/Thunderbird Sync is missing.

                    - Time/ date sync is missing.

                    - Support of standard OBEX or AT Command programms, typicall for Syncing of Phone with PC, are not working properly due to no conformity of MTK2 commands.

                      I have purchased onida one tone split air conditioner in the month of may 2008, model no SZ12GRL2, SERIAL NO SZ12GRL12 12SGAL[protected] from local dealer m/s shetye sales syndicate mapusa goa, since i have bought this unit i repent as continuously its not been functioning properly, as many a times it does not cools and water continuously flows from the lowels . i have complaint about this on several occasion but nothing has been done and...

                      ONIDA 1T Split AC — POOR SERVICE

                      I Have bought onida 1T spilt AC from Chellamani & Co, Thjruvanmiyur Branch on 12/09/08, much against my family memebrs desire. Within Six months of service, AC fialed on 1 Fine night. I have registerd a complaint with service provider ADONIS (Ref No[protected] on 11th April 09, after several follow ups a mechanic from the service centre came to see the problem on 15th. Without even opening the cover he said fan motor has failed on seeing the indication (which i have conveyed when registering my complaint ). He said itywill be replaced the next day. But even today ( 18th apr) there was no reply. I have followed thrice and talked to Mr. Anabalagan ([protected]) regarding my requirement but he replied leisurely that was not his concern as time delay is because of non recicept of spare and he cannot assure the date which may take from 1 Day to 1week.
                      ACs are ment for elders in Summer. My parents are suffering for someone problem of nil stock.
                      I feel betrayed by Brand Name and More than services, the way people respond seems teerible.
                      Warranty, the best lie on cash paid is on stake.

                      i have purchased 1.5 split ac onida at sharp tronic tamilnadu trichy branch 620018 (phone[protected], 2761680) vide bill no cr10024 purchaced date 19 4 2010 due to poor response of cooling and a complaint lodged to the onida service center (complaint no 15) a person came three times to attend the fault but he did't do anything he just clean the dust and go away no response from that person and service center. still i am not satisfy so pls take further step and recover my problem

                        we bought onida split air conditioner and the fan blowing speed makes huge noise outside and it drips off often. lodged complaint and the complaint number is 56381004. but no reponse from the date and the phone request attended by the lady speaking harsh about the complaint.

                        Can you take it back to the store that you purchased it from (option?)?

                        If you ordered it by mail, it might be difficult to get anywhere with the company that shipped it to you but the actual manufacturer would be able to help you and you can alternatively report the business that sold it to you to the manufacturer so that it would put pressure on them to do the right thing for you as the consumer.

                        I got a worst experience with Onida, never saw like this in my life time. I have locked a complaint ([protected]) and tracking for last one and half of month but nobody turned up. I have called the customer care number many times, registered online, sent email to [protected]@onida.com, but no use. I dont know what they actually do. I would recommend all not to go for onida products here after. It has happened to me and it'll happen to everybody.
                        We got some issues with Onida oxygen TV before 1 year of purchase that means within gaurante period. So we called the authorised dealers and they have taken the board for 1 month and still isnt returned. We are chasing them every 2 days and they say within next 2 days.. Very pathetic and annoying.. If this is the scenario how do they assume the customers to buy other onida product. I have a ovan and TV of their's.. would never preferr the brand if this is what they can give in return.Complanit no is [protected].

                        ONIDA Washing Machine — lots of problems in Warranty itself

                        This email is in regarding of my Onida Washing Machine getting problem daily under warranty.Now Really i got fedup your services and as well as your product as its not providing any satisfaction to me. Every month your engineer visited here on complaint, but again and again i am facing new problems . Several time my washer timer and buzzer replaced and as well as lots of time facing problem in washer. Now its my request to REPACE the Product (ONODA Washing Machine) as its in warranty and giving lots of daily trouble which now cannot be tolerated. This is the last email before i move to any of the legal authority where i have to find some permanent solution from your product.

                        The service was really pathetic. We bought the ONIDA 32 Xaria Lite on 31st December 2009 and it started behaving weird since last couple of months. It used to auto turn off, change the picture colors, disconnection to the Cable Network. So, I had lodged a complaint by calling the customer care (complain #: [protected]) on 22nd March 2011. By then the warranty period had lapsed. I agreed to pay the service charge (even though I was not convinced). But I was told by the engineer who visited my place that the MAIN BOARD was damaged and he failed to explain the reason for the same. He informed me that, the main board would cost Rs. 4000/- and I have to bear expense since the warranty had lapsed couple of months ago. On top of it the issue becomes still worse after the engineer opened the Television set. I would request Onida to kindly respond to the above complain number in writing so that I can go further and fight legally to get my work done.

                        Note: We have an Onida Ego Series 21" Color Television and this is the second product we had purchased from Onida and I was about to purchase a Microwave Oven and a split Air Condition from Onida but luckily I experienced the very poor customer service before I purchased it.
                        The worst TV and the worst service which i have ever experienced "ONIDA".


                        Dear readers Please dont go for Onida Televisions, it will work only till is warranty period. After that either you have to buy a new TV and pay 5000 to 6000 to these service center to rectify the electronic problems.


                        The worst part is these electronic component which may cost some Rs.50 to Rs.500 is not available in the retail market for the local mechanic. Even ONIDA do have spares (electronic) with them. They will only recommend to change the full board or the complete set within an year.
                        I am extremely disappointed with the response from your team. Just to give a brief about our case, we bought ONIDA washing machine from the authorized show room. Recently we had water level sensors in the washing machine

                        very bad service, we have called the person for cleaning a/c, n god knows what he did it got spoilt n some part of the a/c is not working. now its has been more than a weak, still they r unable to get the parts. also we have talked to the senior level person on this matter, but no positive response. all of them r one n the same, no good service n still behaving as if they don't care damm about anything. if anybody from the company will read this then they should be shamed of this service. A very big shame on the service of Onida. I am very disappointed on their way of giving this bad n shameful service. take some action against this

                        Hi All, Due to video problem and push (On/OFF) button problem i have registered a complaint in onida CS. That's the only mistake i did in my life. After that the service engineer came to my home after few days and replaced with new Video IC and new button. Charged Rs.1450 with one month warranty. After few days we have faced more problem with the button and also the video also not that much perfect. After that i have registered nearly 4 complaints with the same issue. But Still am facing the same issue with almost TV is dead in last 2days. Am not sure whom i need to contact. When ever am going to call CS they will raise a new request but with those new requests i don't get any update from the service center. I called the area service manager also. But he responded for few calls after that he never pick my calls. As per my experience am going out of ONIDA. Service is very worst. Customer satisfaction is not there in ONDIA. Really onida want to sunset in india? Please let us know we will try to avoid such a great product in feature.

                        I am part of the huge list of people who are so disappointed with Onida's service.
                        I live in Adyar, in Chennai. I had complained about drier not working in Oct 2012 and the local service agency sent an untrained staff who didn't even know how to open the frame (the control board which we operate to drain / spin, etc). He tried hard to open and it broke off. Since last Oct, I am trying to reach the local service people and there is absolutely no response. I had continuously noted it to the customer care also. Still, there is no response. This is the kind of response we receive from the most reputed Onida.

                              Onida Split AC we bought on 25th April 2013 stopped working in 2 weeks. After umpteen number of calls and complain register, service engineer checked and said a part should be changed. Till date nothing happened to the complaint. the spare is not changed and there is no response from Onida. I spend so much to buy an appliance and it gets repaired in 2 weeks. There is no one to take responsible for the quality and to at least set it right.

                                I purchased a Onida Hydromatic 60FS washing machine in January 2008. By May 2009 it developed a problem in automatic water release system. The product is still in warranty, but my complaint to the Onida service dept. has gone to deaf ears. I booked the complaint on 1st June, 2009 and was given a 2 days lead time for someone to come and attend to it. As on this date, 24-Jun-09, there is no response yet. How long is a consumer expected to wait to get the service center's attention? Onida is a Superbrand and this kind of customer care is pathetic and will only bring down the brand image. I cannot recommend Onida to anyone else with this kind of experience. Is any responsible officer reading this from Onida?

                                  our onida split ac is not giving effective cooling.earlier we thought it was due to air filters, so we cleaned it.it worked fine for few hours and again the same problem started.even at 16 degrees it is not able to give effective cooling.we complained at the service centre..they came once but again the same problem persisted.plz help

                                    Sir/ Madam,

                                    I Balaji from Avadi, purchased A/C model no.S118TFL3/2009 from NEXT show room in Ambattur on (19-May-2009). After installation we found that, A/C indoor unit cover broken on the corner. We have informed to the next show room many times. We are not getting valid response. Moveover i had sent an email to onida company but no response from them too.

                                    So, i kindly advice you to take the complaint and offer me the replacement.

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      I have reported a complaint with local service centre ( VISAKHAPATNAM.{ A.P } )about 10 days back. The complaint was the ROOM TEMPARATURE is not going below 27 degree centigrade despite setting the SET TEMPARATURE at less than 23 degree centigrade. A mechanic was sent to attend to the problem who said that the BLOWER of inner unit need to be thoroughly cleaned for which extra amount will be charged other than the normal service charges. I agreed for the same and I have been literally REQUESTING the service centre to send their mechanic since THURSDAY ie. from 18-06-09.

                                      When I call them in the morning, they would say that they would send the mechanic in the evening, who do not turn up. When I call them in the evening, they would say that they would send the mechanic the next day morning. I have been personally been to their office on Friday, ie.19-06-09 and today, ie.22-06-09 who has been promissing that my complaint would be attended to immediately.

                                      Despite my repeated REQUEST and personal visit ( since[protected] to the ONIDA SERVICE CENTRE, my A.C problem has not been solved IN THIS HOT SUMMER DAYS.

                                      I started developing a feeling that " did I buy a POOR AFTER SALES SERVICE air conditioner " despite of having so many air conditioners available in the market ?

                                      You gentlemen, who ever is reading this mail, can only answer on behalf of THE GREAT ONIDA.

                                      I hope, some one from your main office would solve my a.c problem, ATLEAST BEFORE THIS SUMMER. Thankyou gentleman.
