Hi,
I want to let everyone know that subscribing reliance netconnect after paying 2800 as connection fee and then more than 1000 Rs every month, was one of the worst decision I've ever made. I was told by my friend to not to take reliance but I trusted this brand and now very frustrated with their service. In summary, below are the problem I've been facing -

1) Never seen 3.1 mbps anywhere in India not even close to 1 mbps
2) My plan is of INR 1099/month but credit limit is just 900 so almost every 20th of the month when my usage go beyond 900, they change my plan automatically to Highspeed 1x without telling me. This has affected my work in big way and frustrated me all the time.
3) Last month, they had changed my plan to 5 GB all time without my request but I was using it as my original plan of 10 GB night & 2 GB day..This has taken my bill amount to 3500 Rs. I've complained about it almost 5 times and have been following up with them almost daily from last 2-3 weeks but there is no proper response from them.....

The issue is beyond credit limit; I’ve been living on 1x speed from last 10 days but there is no resolution to the problem. After checking my bill, I could figure out that my plan has been changed to 5 GB 24/7, which I’ve never requested so please escalate it to resolve it ASAP.

In that case, please stop promising services to customer. Why did you give me a plan, which cost beyond my credit limit? This is utter non-sense. Anyways, I think I will prefer to get disconnected from this non-customer friendly service by end of June so thanks but no thanks.

I was told by few of my friends not to go for reliance but I trusted the brand but I believe that they were always right.

Hi Dhiraj,

One more time I am facing problem with reliance card because of my credit limit. Last month, I was working on 1x connectivity for almost 2 weeks since my usage was beyond my credit limit (INR 900), which has caused lot of work related problems.

Again, from last 3-4 days I am getting 1x and could figure out the reason that my usage has gone beyond the credit limit (INR 900) and system has automatically changed that setting to 1x from broadband.

I just wanted to understand the concept behind keeping credit limit less that the total monthly bill amount; I’ve been virtually paying the bill even before it is generated, which is quite frustrating.

Please take a quick action to resolve the issue because I don’t want to continue to spend my time on this.

This is so frustrating to see that company is not giving satisfactorily response to its customers even after charging huge amount of money. Last month, I had requested one of the customer rep to change my plan to 5 GB day/10 GB night, which was confirmed back to me. After confirmation, I started my daily browsing/work activity during day time but not when I receive the bill, it is still saying that I am on 2 GB day/10 GB night and charged me 400 INR for extra usage.

I am attaching the email request with response from Reliance to escalate this issue and adjust my bill since it was not my fault.

Reliance Mobile- Broadband — No disconection after exceeding Credit limit

I have reliance broadband connection no. -[protected].

Its credit limit is 1900.00.

My connection was not disconnected after exceeding the credit limit and my bill reached 10000 .

Reliance /Reliance Netconnect Broadband — No activation since last 8 days after taking cash

I had applied for Reliance Netconnect Broadband 0n 06th of september through net. I receiverd a call from Reliance customer care stating that one person will be receiving the application from me. Sunday that person contacted me and Taken the application form from me after i paid Rs 3500/- for the Reliance Net connect instrument. They told ( Named Arun And Manoj)me that somebody will be coming for address verification and my connection will be activated within 48 hours. But neither anyone came nor it was activated. After contacting so many times to reliance customer care we submitted another application to Reliance webworld Jayanagar, bangalore and was confirmed that within 24 hours it will get activated. but still i am struggling with it . please help me out. Because the last hope is consumer court only.

After harassed by Reliance Communications + Vriti Interactive(Sales Chanel Partner for
Reliance NetConnect+ Internet Connection)I decided to do some writeup exercise.I do not have Contact details of Pune Mirror Reporter to explain my problem.I will appreciate if anybody can provide contact details of Pune Mirror reporter.
Problem: I am already having Reliance Wimax connection at my home but due to speed issues and frequent connectivity issues I decided to go for Reliance NetConnect+ as Reliance promised user will get speed upto 3.1 MBPS.Even though I had bad experience with my existing connection I decided to go for Reliance once again.
I filled online application form to book the connection online on Monday 14 Sept 2009.After some 2-3 hours I got call from Dipti Sharma from Vriti Interactive Noida office to confirm details and internet plan.She promised that If you do the payment of Rs.3400 you will get connection activated by tomarrow afternoon.As per our discussion Reliance Data Card delievery person visited my office in the evening and collected copies of required documents[HSBC Bank Cheque(No:859878)PAN Card, License, Photo] and told me to send the electricity bill on email id o[censored]lhas Patil(ulhas.[protected]@vriti-interactive.com).As per the discussion I immediatly forwarded the Electricity Bill[I used to get on my email id every month] & got confirmation from Ulhas Patil for the same.Next day I got call from Dipti Sharma Vriti Interactive Noida that If you do the online payment then only we will process your application today otherwise you have to wait till cheque processing.So I decided to make the online payment[Payment Reference Number:1664552] and wrote couple of payment confirmation mails to Dipti Sharma and Ulhas Patil that not to process HSBC Bank Cheque(No:859878) as I am already done with online payment.After online payment nobody from Vriti or Reliance revert back to me for Address Verification on that day.I tried to contact Dipti Sharma and Ulhas Patil but nobody pickup the phone.Next whole day I did the same thing and same result.In the evening Ulhas answered my call and said that I need to send the Electricity Bill again to complete the registration process.I send it again in hope of application will get process soon.On next day[17 Sept 2009] morning I got SMS alert from HSBC bank regarding Rs.3400 cheque debit from my bank account[as I already told them not to process the cheque].I mailed Dipti(dipti.[protected]@vriti-interactive.com) and Ulhas couple of time but no reply from them.So finally they deducted Rs. 6800 from my account for single connection.I understand Reliance/Vriti people need to follow certain process to give new connections but they should not make false promises to people and cheat them.I strongly feel there is lack of co-ordination between different department.Nobody is knows what other person is doing.They only know how to get money from people and make them fool..Both the companies have 'Communication' and 'Interactive' words in their name but in actual they dont understand meaning of those.I dont know whether I will get connection on time and refund of Rs.3400 they deducted from my account.I think the only hope I have is to go to Consumer Court.

I can totally empathize with Mr. Rajeev Sinha. Vriti people are very effective and almost get to the point of harrassment to ensure that you make the Rs.3500/- online payment towards the Broadband Connection. But once the money is received into their accounts, they promptly forget that they have to still activate the connection.

ADAG — Reliance Netconnect Broadband

I purchased Reliance Netconnect Broadband+ in the month of April, 2011. My Id is [protected]. I am staying in Hafeezpet, Hyderabad. From the first day itself, I am getting speeds in the range of 20 Kbps - 40 kbps. I am not getting the speed promised for High Speed (1X) network. I registered a complaint for the issue on 12th May, 2011 and the team from Reliance (Support as well as network team) visited my place to resolve the issue. They said that the problem may be because of network and asked me to wait for some time for the problem to be resolved. But as of today, I am getting the same speed 20 Kbps - 40 kbps. When I called up the customer care, they say that it will take about a month more to solve the problem. I have already been suffering for the last two and half months because of the slow speeds.

    Respected Sir/Madam,
    I want to file a complaint against Reliance Communication (Anil
    Dhirubhai Ambani Group) regarding deletion (Deactivate) of my mobile
    no. [protected] records on Ist May, 2010 without any intimation. I have
    made lot more calls and complaints in their customer care through e-mails & phones and i didn't
    get any response from their end. I was gone to reliance web world many
    times but i didn't get any response from their end.
    My above mentioned mobile no. is very important to me & i have used the
    my above mentioned mobile no. approx previous three years. I have very
    loss by financially & mentally by above mentioned work done by the
    reliance communication. So i want to file a complaint against the
    reliance communication.

    Looking forward to receiving an early sympathetic consideration from
    your end.

    Reliance communication customer service is nothing else just a waste of time. They just hung up you and you will never receive any solution. Desi company we should proud of our company RELIANCE COMMUNICATION this is showing my anger.

    It was my pleasure to have this connection. It has been 2 and half years, accidental one day I have activated a message pack paying Rs 11 and used it for a month. After completing one month it has been renewed automatically I was shocked because I brought this message for one month and was never willing to continue. I talk with customer service rep and describe the problem he replied the this will automatically renewed he told if I wish to deactivate it I need to send a message I followed the work procedure and send the message I got confirmation message your service has been deactivated however, again they deducted Rs 11 It has been 5 to 6 month I have been facing this problem I have talk with customer service rep more then 15 times and they assured me that the service has been deactivated from there end and in future this will not happen again. I was surprise with there service it's a very simple problem which I have but again they deducted Rs 11 and still I am having this problem. Now I am going to change my connection this is the conclusion. So I would suggest you to don't use Reliance. If you you don't expect for any customer service.

      As per Reliance Mobile Company policy the call unit is measured as per usage but in actual before the call is connected to the other mobile the call unit counting getting started. the company is measuring unit as per running second. if it is true then every call is consuming around 10-15 seconds extra. and we are suffering a loss. pls reply me. on [protected]@sify.com

        reliance offer - messages sent to my mobiles informing recharge of 599 would avail unlimitted calls to local & std reliance phones and 30minutes free call to any phone in India for 30 days. I had also called up their customer care to know about it and was informed the same but before 30 days the offer was over and lost my credit balance on my phone. When i called up the customer care they informed me about the offer that the offer was only about 2500 minutes. And the customer care officer had asked me to file the complaint as he also feels it to be unfair on part of the management to give such an information. irely on reliance network and they have cheated and lost my valuable money.

          Hello,I saw an add in which it was mentioned that buy a reliance data card and get 2N/3d stay in goa.i filled the enquiry form after which i got a call from a representive of VRITI INFOCOM PVT LTD from delhi which is a partner of reliance.They said that they will send me a pdf form if i buy the connecton.I buyed RELIANCE 1X data card which they delivered in one hour.But after taking money their attitude changed.They didn't gave me the MDI no for 4 days.They made me to call them again and again and talked in an unappropriate manner.Even their representive who delivered the card didn't picked my call for 4 days.I called their representive in delhi who gave me a call first first made a fool of me for three days and made me to talk to his senior who told me to forward a complaint to customer support and disconnected the call.Its been 5 days neithe r i have got the pdf form nor my net has been activated.These people should be booked under section 420.

On 2nd Feb 2012, suddenly cricket updating sms were come without my permission and they deducted 30/- from my a/c. My mobile no is [protected]. I don't want any value added service. Stop all the value added services and refund my money. Please do it.

              Hi, this is Mr. Paul from Kolkata. I want to unsubscribe all VAS from my number +[protected]. Stop creating nuisance. Customer Care are horrified!! Every time I ask reason about any deduction they only say "Our server is under maintenance . Please call after 10 minutes." Getting refunds is way out of question, but stop harassing customers.

                I have 15 rcom CDMA prepaid numbers and to each and evry no. they charge me umwanted amount by activating any of the VAS os deducting the amount by telling that R world is used.
                they do not have any details for claiming the same.
                Some times the caller tune pack is activated and there is no caller tune but amount is deducted.
                against this i have send more thn 10 E-mails to the following locatons.
                1)customer care
                2)Nodal officer
                3)reliance store manager mulund west.
                4)RCOM applet authority.
                Also i tried to take the help of police but it was of no use.
                i am ready for any legal procedures.

                Your gallery at mulund west is not at all co-operative.

                i have shooted more than 10Emails to your customer care and 5 emails to nodal officer but they didnt bother to send me a reply.

                  I am Naushad khan Using reliance Data card with No [protected], I am based at Gurgaon,haryana.

                  I am using reliance data card, since quite some time, more than 05 months,
                  Reliance dat card working nicely till 3 month.After that when
                  i do recharge that prepaid data card for Rs250/- on a regular basis, From april 2010 when i recharge our data card , our all limit finish(300 mb) within 5 minute to 60 minute(some time 5-5 minute, sometime 30 min, 60 .............).
                  the data card is used only for checking email, browsing only.naukri web site.
                  It is connected only to my LAPTOP with windows XP. In In april month i had recharge our data card 5 times(3 times -250-250 Rs, two times 50,30 Rs.) . TILL 25.05.10
                  i had recharge our data card 9 times but all times our limit finish in a hour or half a hour(only using naukri website or gmail browsing.) .. I had complaint many times but no response from your side. PL. look into the matter and do needful as soon as possible.

                    Reliance Broadband — Recovery Agents Harrassment

                    This is to bring in to your notice that my staffs and I have being harrased by your collection department for the payment of dues though I have already informed them that Im going to pay the outstanding amount on 20th of November (Due date was 1st November) including late fees and interest charges but your collection department was absolutetly rude on this and has used absurd langauages against my staff.I have being a regular customer of Reliance and have paid the bill regularly
                    File Police complaint against such person and get him arrested. If local police do not act, complain to the higher ups without hesitation.
                    Same scene happened with me today.. I received a call from number[protected] saying that this call is from Patiyala house count and they are going to issue a non-ballable warrant against me if I do not pay bills(they were actualy flase bills by reliance). She asked me to call another number ([protected]) for futher discussion on that. A lady of [protected] again used abusive and threatning language ... I guess they are not advocate or from court but a recovery agents.. I am planning to file a police complaint against them..

                    Today I also received call from number ([protected]). She said that the call is from Patiyala court and they are going to file a case against me for a case of fraud. she was trying to give me a advocate number but i refused. i have done call to this number from police station but it was not received.
                    I think somehow the customer’s information might have leaked out (thru call center or some other way) to such jobless people & they might be taking advantage of this. I hope even Reliance is unaware of such things going behind them...

                    This lady called me today ([protected])and said there is case being filed against me in patiyala court for fraud and frogery and asked me to call advocate Abhinav singh ([protected]) and get details from him regarding the case.

                    Can somebody stop these guys from troubling us with some new technology to trace their address and put them behind bars.
                    This is just recovery technique from call centers reps or agents...so DONT pay anything. If they wont come up with this harassment technique then you wont be panicked and if you wont get feared then you wont pay them. Call center reps sounds like punjabi and they cannot speak in English. One rep become Inspector and other become Lawyer...Infact these are NOT the job of Inspector and Lawyer. Beware of their names like Kulwat/Rana/Singh/Saxena/Balbir, etc.
                    They buy bad debt customers information from Reliance/Aitel and call customers to collect fund.
                    Please ask for bar association number and collection license and ask them to fax or email the notice. If they are NOT legitimate then they would hang up the phone or wont give you a call again.. Remember they are using Patiyala or Delhi court so that the people from distance location find difficult for them to access physically. If you are resident of Patiyala or Delhi then they would say they are calling from Chennai or Mumbai or Kolkata and would have to appear in Chennai or Mumbai or Kolkata Court. REMEMBER, they wont say same city and same court or else they would get trapped. FINALLY, IF YOU WONT TRAP THEM THEN THEY WOULD TRAP YOU.
                    One more thing..if you have outstanding from Airtel then would call from Airtel if you have debt of Reliance then they could call from Reliance. Everymonth they change their phone numbers...
                    PLEASE ASK FOR THEIR PHYSICAL ADDRESS ALSO WHICH THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU.
                    This happened with me as well, I got a msg from a guy who told me he is a government lawyer and his name is Rajeev Mittal and he is a government advocate from Delhi High Court. I had a Reliance Broadband connection back in 2009 and which I got disconnected after using for only a month, as the sales person from reliance conned me with a different plan, an expensive one(which I didnt ask for). He said Reliance has filed a case against me for not making payment of Rs. 6000, and if I dont make the payment before 3 PM on 13/02/12 there will be a arrest warrant issued on my name.
                    I really got scared and made the payment as I didn't wanted any legal hassels. The payment was unjust and I am really feeling bad about it. Is there a remedy against this?

                    FIRST OF ALL COURT NEVER CALLS .. they send summon & if not delivered it will be delivered via local police station
                    then if you check your bill you will see that " SUBJECT TO LOCAL COURT JURISDICTION" meand if reliance has to file a case they will file locally ! for maharastra not in Delhi !!
                    enjoy the calls & play along ..Doing same for last 4 years .. Reliance had my deposit of 2000 Rs when i disconnect they were suppose to pay me the balance .. but these people are keeping my account active so that they can call & collect money .. Mr ambani Enjoy Free money

                        dear sir/ Madam I have a sim card of reliance GSM and the no is [protected] but ten days ago unfortunately I have lost my mobile phone and that time this sim card was in this phone. Then I have complaint in police and RCOM customer care and stop the service of this no on temp. Basis. Then next day I want to my nearest web world which is at Ambedkar Road Ghaziabad but the Manager of this web World is said to me that there is duplicate SIM cards are out of stock and you will come after few days. Then after two days again I went there but that time he say that SIM cards is not available but if you have any urgency then I will give you but you have to pay Rs 150 in place of Rs 25.
                        So I want to know that what is the problem with this person. Is by company not paying the salary for him.
                        If yes then why he is doing this with company's repo.

My name is Mukesh Singh I had registered for a broadband service for my company named Virtual World on 03/04/2010.At the time of the installation I was charged Rs 3503 which I paid by a cheque.I was told that the rental will be RS 2700/pm but was sent a bill of RS 9874.80 on 22/5/2010.I called up the customer service department but was upset with their rude behavior.In the meantime I kept on receiving calls from the billing department for the payment of the bill.Now I don't know what to do.It's my earnest request to the consumers please do not buy any broadband service from reliance or its channel partners.

                            Reliance Broadband — Overcharged bills

                            I disconnected my broadband connection by calling the reliance call center on 15th March. Executive told me that someone from reliance will call me to see if they can retain the customer. I told her that I have no intension o[censored]sing reliance broadband and i already have alternate MTNL connection so I will not pay after 15th March and I also asked her to mention that in the system.

                            Trying to retain me they kept calling me and i had more than 6 calls and the actual disconnection process took around 1 ½ month. Reliance has now charge me for this extra time in which i did not use reliance broadband at all. Now I keep getting calls from reliance for bill payment which causes serious inconvenience to me. I have already informed executive no of times that since I used only till 15th March, I will pay only till 15th March and that they should sort out things on their end and then talk to me.

                            Now I also got notice from theirside today asking me to pay within 14 days or face legal action at my cost.

                            Any advise, suggestion on how i should go about this would be sincerely appreciated.

                              Reliance GSM Mobile — wrong deduction of amount

                              with refrence to above i like to bring your kind notice that on 24.05.2010 evening a sum of rs 30/- had been deducted by the system
                              while inquiring to the toll free customercare i was informed that a packnamed nazara been activated through internet that so called pack was not activated by me nor know wtat this pack is my interaction no to customer care is [protected]on 25.04.2010 at 8.15 a m now i request you to kindly refund my amount deducted wrongly by the system as the pack is also deactivated by your officer.
                              i have been using internet for quite some time but this type of problem is arising now a days
                              waiting for an early refund

                              the above message war sent by me on 25.05.2010 but the reply was computerised ,which was a matter of great regreat i once again requesting you to kindky refund the amount of rs 30/- wrongly deducted by you at the earliest

                              I would like to log a complaint against your service.i am using your connection from last one and half year and till now i am waiting for a good reponse.
                              On 14th of aug. nearly about 7.30, automatically my balance has been deducted from my account.i was trying to contact costmer care from two days but failed to do so because of busy network.finally i made a call on monday 16th aug. at 10.30 pm and got Mr. MANOJ online, he was from HARYANA.when i asked for my problem, he replied in negative and said "we are sorry, your problem has been occured due technical problem".then i asked to refund my bal. he said u must have to call within 48hrs of bal deduction.We can't be able to refund the balance."
                              Moreover i regretfully wants to inform you that this my third time when i am facing this problem and thats why i complaining for the bad service.check my details if you think that it is a wrong complaint.
                              i would like to here from you that is this the way to provide service to the old customer? is that the way the customer care executive talked with me.i want a revert call from on my issue within two days.after two day i am going to throw this SIM out and also never suggest anyone to use your service.

                                  I Have Heard about the Reliance Unlimited 599 plan for prepaid & i Contacted to the Customer care for the Plan or Scream the told me the Unlimited Call to any Reliance Number & i have taken the New Number [protected] & Activated the Plan 599 on my number on 24 May 2010 & than Started Talking to Reliance Number Free & than Than after Few day's My Talk-time is Decreasing Today & When i contact to the Customer they told me that we don't have your Document's Detail so we can Give u the information about the Number & This is not the Unlimited plan this plan was only of 2700 Minute's only this is not the Unlimited plan.

                                  Sir Please Help Me Regarding the Complaint Try to solve the Problem & this is not the Way To Tall Customer's That this is Unlimited plan & after Few day's they Tall that this is not the unlimited Plan

                                    My fiace's purse along with her two samsung handsets was stolen from the train.
                                    She was travelling from Kolkatta to Jalpaigudy. She had activated mobile tracker, provided in my samsung mobiles.
                                    now, i got a sms from relience no. [protected] which was sent by the mobile tracker application of my phone.
                                    So please provide me the details of the subscriber or any helpful details for this number.

                                      Dear Sir/Madam

                                      I have taken CDMA Prepaid No. of Reliance before 1 months. and also i have taken samsung mobile model no -559 before 1 months. Now i have lot of problems. When ever I talk with anybody they say to me your voice is not coming properly, due to this reason our things is not able to complete. I request you to pls sir do some thing. There is so bad service, I am fed up with this. If I will get good service then i will use this CDMA no otherwise i will have to chang any how. so pls do the needful on urgent basis.

                                        Hi consumer forum Team,
                                        I have one complain regarding the recharge voucher of the reliance communication.
                                        In the Recharge voucher of the Rs. 599, they are mentioning that unlimited talk time to Reliance to Reliance.
                                        How ever the scheme this is not the truth, and its 2000 min talk time, ited tanot the unlimlk time to the Reliance to reliance.
                                        Due to their wrong marketing policies we loose lots of money and also time to discuss this with the customer care, and mentally harassed to the general people

                                        Even though there product brochure they have mention Reliance to Reliance unlimited talk time

                                        Even the there retailer also telling same thing Reliance to Reliance unlimited talk time

                                        Kindly plz look into this matter so that further no one wiil loose their money and also
