Respected Sir,
I had brought a RELIANCE GSM SIM card from the shop named 'ONYX' situated at JADAVPUR, Kolkata-32 near 8B Bus Stand, last Tuesday in the Evening ( 26.08.2008). At that time I had also submitted all the necessary documents. But after 8 days The number is not activated till now. My New Subscribed Number is : [protected].
I just wanted to know why my number is not activated till now and how many days it will take to get activated ?
I had brought a RELIANCE GSM SIM card but it was not activated till now.
i m 4m andhrapradesh, VIJAYAWADA studing b.tec.

i recharce with 81 for 7 days gprs serive, i call customar care and follow the instructions, but it not worked, my hand set nokia n72, still it hav not get the settings for gars, plz do something .

    From last 3 days(29/08/2008) no signal is here.It's a regular falt, though I'v allredy compalint to Reliance Smart GSM castomar care.but still no responce for feedback .I have recharged of Rs-303 for GPRS connection on 08/08/2008 at 9:29 PM. To day signal is running(from- 1:30 PM).Now I want the feed back for last 3 days signal defalt.please take action for that.

    Reliance Smart GSM — no signal

    I have a problem with a weak singal of network . when I keep my mobile in my room there is no network and my mob. always in out or range due to this reason i cann't keep my mob. in room. I keep it on 3rd floor of my house to catch network when I live on ground floor. connection is disconnect during communication period due to weak network in ground floor. so whenever I want to communicate with other i go to third floor and then I communicate.
    So please, remove this problem as fast as possible. Otherwise. I may move from ur service to other service providor

      We took broadband service 7-10 days ago and Reliance technician came and installed the modem/ or router.But internet is not working since the day one. We took reliance broadband due to name and expected high level of service but faced opposite of this.We called many times Mr SK Mehra at[protected] chandigarh but no response.

      I took broadband service 10 Months back and Reliance technician came and installed only phone and when i asked for modem or router he tells me after half an hour some other technician will come and installed the same .But from last 10 month still we are awaiting i had complaint so many times for the installation of Broad Band.But the result was ZERO and today also when i call customer care they gives me a no 30337777 which is not existing from last two months.bloody reliance service providers.

      We requested for two net connections ( one for personal use at home and another one for office use). We have given the required ID proofs, address proof & payment cheques one month back only. After that your Reliance marketing Team personnel visited twice to our SBI Bank collected telephone bill and insisted for our branch lience. Your Reliance personnel are telling that without branch licence they are not ready to give internet connection to us. We are totally upset with your reponse and time, you are taking for this request. Your Marketing personnel are not clear about new connection formalites. We request you that kindly take necessary action and do the needful to us. We are expecting from you good service and quick response.

      My Internet get dissconnected every 15 min . I have raised lots of request, but no one viisted at my place and even not provided any solution, my billing cycle was still going. I have paid 5500 to disconnect my connection, but still I am getting mails that we are working upon the problem and soon we will resolve. Since last 45 days this is going on... VERY VERY BAD SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN.

        sir i took a prapaid connection of Realince Before one month ago in july 2008 . but from that time i m suffering with it. i got a jharkhand connection number is [protected] .sir, i live at chirkunda which is 40 km far away from dhanbad my cell is working at dhanbad and i got every call and i can make a call . but where is my resident chirkunda i cant make a call and receive any . for this i make many complain in realince web world dhanbad and many center related to it . but i cant get any solution they said today and today or after 72 hours we shot out the problem . but i cant get any solution till dated 01 sep 2008.i cant make any call on the number *333 which is customer care number its always say its root is busy. then how can i contact with customer care ..

        I am Chandra Prakash Singhania working in Manikgarh Cement Gadchandur. I have purchased a pre-paid connection before 1 week from Gadchandur and I have given all the documents in time than after 4 -5 days my number shows to resume services than the shop keeper has committed me that your number will start on evening but it does not happen & after that I called him so many times but he always says that your number will start after 5 hours, after 6 hours means only wrong commitments.

        So because of this wrong commitments I am fully frustrated by service of Reliance Communication.This mail is my last hope after that I will quit my all Reliance connections of my family members.

        So I request you to please look after this urgently.

        This type facility, around my 150/- balance deducted in this last three month’s, and no any solution given by your company, If this type service is give by you than I will not use this RIM number, I am working in Intex company as a Customer support Engg.we give full support to customer and resolve his problem in hour’s,

          i have done shopping of worth more than Rs2500 approx from rel.one located in (radhekishan villa, Givind vadi, Isanpur, Ahmedabad) .my membership card no. is [protected]. My name is Ajay Shah. .At the time of issuing reliance one cared, your employee has explain me that i[censored] purchase more than 2500/-, the voucher of Rs. 17/- given to u for purchase of any item from the store. Now, I have done shopping more than Rs. 2500/-. But last 3 months, the employee of your retail store, not issue a voucher to me. They always asked me that the computer operator is not there. U come later on. If i gone to store at 8 O'clock, the concerned officers refuse to provide me a voucher and ask me that the officer had gone just before u come, pl come later on. From last three months, the reply of your officer is the same. Now, I am tired. This is not a matter of Rs.17/-. But this is matter of justice. The reliance ones tried to avoid for voucher. Yesterday, I have ask a complaint number or E-mail ID from Shri Hitesh, your sales officer, but he said that there is no any number or ID for complaints. My reward voucher is still not given to me. Kindly direct your officer to provde the same at the earliest.

          It is proved that Believing RELIANCE is a mistake. Shop for one amount and you get the points for another. your card points will be used by other person. But no action will be taken by the company people. if you ask the customer care people, they will give you some points but not actual points. after all, we are living in INDIA.

          Reliance One card is way to loot the consumer.So many time they are not returning money for saying they have no change so they included the change money in card, but u will never get the money return back from Reliance
          I am having Reliance one card. I went to Aurangabad, Maharashtra
          reliance mart mall. When I gave on the
          counter they told Reliance one card is not acceptable I have to open one more
          card as reliance mart then only they will sold the goods.

          When I have done shopping in vizag reliance mart they have
          accepted the reliance one card, they have not told me to open one more card.

          Why it is needed to open one more card of reliance mart.

          Why it is needed 2 cards in reliance, why 1 card is
          acceptable in some places and not accepted in other place?

            Hi,

            As Iam Balaji Singh.Y here from Bangalore Banaswadi, I have really faced lot of problems with reliance broadband connection.

            Thought I paid the bill (Receipt No : 20323, Rs.1360 ) on 16 / 08 / 2008, yet till now my connection did not get activated.

            I came to know this problem only on 24 / 08 / 2008 when I called up customer care of reliance with an doubt anticipation or to give a last try.

            And I really felt bad about how reliance works, why because without my knowledge they have suspended my connection, though paying the bill, so I raised a compliant on date 24 / 08 /2008 on this issue and the complaint No is 74542898.

            And before I could know it’s the provider fault (Reliance Broadband provider) the amount of stress and strain that I faced is endless why because I thought there might the problem of virus due which uninstalled

            my Operating System (OS ) and installed it once again, but still it was not working, then what I thought is their might the problem with the Internet Explorer, so I reinstalled it with much difficulty, but still this to gave

            a big hand and I upgraded IE 5 to IE 6 and then IE 7, but still the problem persisted as same, so at last I took it to my EDS team and made them to reinstall the whole OS once again freshly.

            And I was ashamed that I did not attend 5 standoff meetings and concalls, this really triggered my temper and that on 24 Aug 2008 I gave a last try by calling to reliance customer and I found that its not my

            problem or my laptop problem but it’s was reliance problem (“reason my account status was in suspended mode).

            And now it’s me I will teach reliance what is sufferings from customer side when certain things happen like this.

            I more bad thing is that false promises were made by the customer executives stating that my problem will be solved in 72hrs, but till date its under suspended state. Even more I was back of reliance customer care

            asking for things and status daily its really very strange and this had created Mind blocking issue for me with respect image/scope of me in company mentally and physically.

            And after me calling more then 10 times to customer care the status is the just same and my problem till date is not solved, so I am lodging an complaint in CONSUMER COURT regarding this.

            And no one from reliance had informed me about my internet connection status prior to suspended mode or to say no intimation was given to me in any form prior.

            And more over I had called up many times to reliance people like Mr. Krishna Murthy ( ph no :[protected], Lakshmi V (Ph :[protected],[protected] but every body wants to just escape from situation,

            slip away and putting problems on other departments, but no body took initiative on my complaint number[protected] till date .

            Mr. Yashodhar he is from the billing dept he is not picking up his mobile or landline ( [protected],[protected] I tried so many times though its ringing he is not picking up, I don’t understand what strange kind

            of persons reliance company is having him into job.

            Though having reliance internet connection at home what is use its not working due to suspended state for which I had to browse outside and unnecessarily I had bear the expenses of browsing and for reinstallation of OS and Internet Explorer on to my laptop

              I am a customer of RIM, I have taken its connection on 29/08/2008. I was assured that my number will be activated on the next day, It is already two days passed till now I am not getting any response.
              Therefore please consider my complaint.

                Respected Sir,


                PROBLEM :- Internet connection issued in negative area due to Reliance mistake --Now, asking security deposit and benefit not as per scheme (two months free internet on new connection).

                Details :-

                I purchased one internet commection from Reliance Webstore Ltd. RDC, Ghaziabad on 19 July 2008. The number was [protected].

                As per Reliance sales person at Reliance Webstore Ltd. RDC, Ghaziabad my connection was to start after address verification within two days.

                I waited for one week, no body came. I asked again, they told within few days.

                After 15 days i went to Reliance Webstore Ltd. RDC, Ghaziabad and inquired again, they told you give the correct mild stone of your home, i gave and waited for one more week. No body came and my connecion did not start.

                I went again to Mr. Amit Verma, Store mamager, Reliance Webstore Ltd. RDC, Ghaziabad and inquired, they told that my home comes under negative area (declared by Reliance due to recovery problems), due to this the conncetion could not be started. Mr. Amit Verma, Store mamager, Reliance Webstore Ltd. RDC, Ghaziabad told that, Reliance does not issue connections to negative area and told due to Reliance mistake the connection has been issued to you.

                Now i asked for the solution, they told you come after 5 days as he will inquire from seniors for the solution. I was keeping in touch with the latest but finally Mr. Amit Verma, Store mamager, Reliance Webstore Ltd. RDC, Ghaziabad told that Reliance can not start your connection and said that if you want your connection to be started deposit Rs 1000 as security. I was ready to pay.

                But as Reliance provide frree internet for first two months on every new connection (current scheme, it was also promissed to me on the day i purchased the connection), I asked what for me about the facility.

                I aksed that due to Reliance mistake my time is almost over, so that after paying Rs 1000 i should get as per scheme, but Mr. Amit Verma, Store mamager, Reliance Webstore Ltd. RDC, Ghaziabad told that the free internet for first two months (as per every new connections from Reliance) can not be provided to you now from the date you deposit Rs 1000. So it is a loss for you.

                I discueed the matter with Mr. Amit Sharma, Zonal mamager, Reliance communication, but no solution till now.

                I am ready to pay Rs. 1000 as security (however, this was not tole to me when i purchased it)

                I also must get the benefits of the scheme that free internet for first tow months because it was Reliance mistake.

                Because Reliance Webstore Ltd. RDC, Ghaziabad mistake i could not have internet connection with me and facing tension regarding the solution of problem caused by Reliance Webstore Ltd. RDC, Ghaziabad.

                Sir i request you to do the needful for me. Or to suggest me what should i do now.

                    I have been using reliance net connect Platinum plan ie 1500 per month plus taxes. I was offered datacard along with my new Compaq laptop. Even after that I have to pay Rs 3800 plus amount to register for internet connection. As my plan initially was pay on use plan. As I am frequent user of internet connection, i requested them to change my plan to unlimited ie; Platinum(Rs 1500+ taxes) as the Rs3800 was given in advance for 3 month rental and was not supposed to pay first 3 months bill. But I was charged from the first month onwards, when i inquired about the same with reliance customer care, they told me that due to the change of plan opted by me, I have to bear the loss of Rs 3800 plus without any proper reason. Two month before I opted to disconnect my connection. I didn't pay the last month bill as I was not given proper service as they promised. Now they are just sending bills and frequently calling me over phone and asking me to pay bills. As a citizen of India, I want justice without any flaws.

                      Reliance Communication — Activation of rim no prepaid

                      I had puchased a new rim prepaid connection [protected] on 31 august 2008. I had submitted all the required documents, at the time of puchase, to the dealer. On 09 september they deactivated outgoing call on my number. After that on 09 sept 2008 i inquired at the web world at batra in mukherji nagar. A representative neeraj said that your verification of address has been done so no problem your ougoing call on this number will activate today. But toll today i am suffering with this deactivation of my number. Beside this i recharge with RS 495 for std free call with validity 30 days i am loosing this facility.

This number was working fine during initial period but after a week I only able to acquire incoming facility. Then I consulted ATUL communication regarding this then they advised me to go NEHRU PLACE “RELIANCE COMMUNICATION”. There I again submitted address proof and also fill the form. Vikash Kumar (working in Reliance communication) told me that you number will be activated within 5 days but I have not yet received any response from his side also. Today I went NEHRU PALACE “Reliance communication” to make inquiry then he draft mail about my number to somebody.
                      Till how long I need to wait. Even your customer care executives are not responding positively. Today at 6:45pm I called customer care regarding number activation but he said that sir there is some problem in my computer so I could not help then I asked him to transfer call to you senior then he disconnected the phone. Every time your customer care executives have different problems (server problem, hardware problem, system problem, …).
                      From last one month I am facing this problem and contacted more than 10 times to customer care executives regarding this and every time I have to face same situation. How long I have to wait. This kind of services you are providing to your customers.
                      If this situation exist for two more days than I have to go consume court and you should ready for the consequences. I want this number to be activated before Monday (19|01|2009).

                      unfortunately i have taken one of the WLL connection from Reliance communication Limited, their franchies as EASY INFOCAM, INFRONT OF RAJKUMAR COLLEGE, G.E. ROAD, RAIPUR (CHHATTISGARH) when i disconnect and paid the final amount as Rs. - 2185/- ( Two Thousand and one Hundread Eighty Five Rupees only) to their authorised officer, who collected final amount as well as WLL Instrument9 on dated 22.08.2007), from my home and given one of the paper against our payment and assure that its sufficient and complete. But now advocate Mr. amit Tiwari sending legal letters that again payment the same amount which is not in record and entry. Now pl you tell me how i can payment what i have paid earlier, pl verify, coinfirm and justice for the same, neither i will knock to TRAI for the same. As i contact at raipur Head office, Franchies counter and also talk to their Advocate through mobile and fax them also inspite of them they are forsing pl tell me what i have to do.                         I purchased a Reliance Data Card in the month of july. The hardware cost for the Data Card was Rs. 3000/. The scheme promised, was Rs. 450 monthly rental with first two months rental free. From the first day of activation itself there was connection problem. The same was reported to the vendor who sold me the Data Card. The problem is that the internet is so slaw that it would take minimum of 5 minutes to open a page and majority of times it may not even open the web page. The internet is always down whenever i try logging on. I was promised amazing net speed throughout India and i dont even get connected to the net in a city like Delhi.
                        Please take some action against them.

                        I have reliance data card. when i installed it working for one day the next day it is not working.
                        Again I removed and installed the data card software from my vista os. Again it is working for one day.
                        this problem is coming frequently . Can any body help me what is the problem
                        I bought netconnect Huwaii EC1260 broadband + card. It worked fine for two days. After that it was deactivated due to verification broblem. When the verification was done, it was activated from server end. However I am not able to work as whenever I connect the data card it give error "device is disconnected or is unavailable". Its like the data card is totally hang or something. And the signal strength is always 0- or no signal, there is a cross mark.

                        Everyone I spoke with in Reliance has got the same steps : start computer again/uninstall/reinstall. But none of them have been fruitful.

                        No Idea how to go about it. Vendor from whome I purchased has stopped picking my phone. Wrote many emails to datasupport email, called thousand times to customer care...

                        Every telecom provider of these data cards is these days overselling their capacity. So the data cards work but the speeds are no way near the broad band speed promise... its good for any general browsing, but for any serious work, its useless.. i am seeing speeds not more than 5KB/sec to 10KB/sec which is NO WAY near to broad band... its like ordering a PIZZA and getting a chapatti ( that too without a butter).

                        I have not stopped at this. I complained to reliance and their response is sick. They tell me that the area has a large number of concurrent users.. but i see this in several cities as i travel

                        I have decided to escalate to their appellate officer (Rcomnodalofficer.[protected]@relianceada.com). Surprisingly they have not responded...

                        I am following and if needed will go to consumer court... they are cheating users like us.. they advertise broadband speed and what we get is less than 10% of what is advertised...

                        So users.. DO NOT just tolerate but do something about it

                            I have taken the connection in March'08, by paying Rs. 500/- as installation charges. Since, the service was poor I got it disconnected in July'08 and also settled the final bill.
                            Now again the company has sent bill for Rs. 1750/- as early termination charges.
                            This is the height of cheating, which i never expected from highly reputed brand like RELIANCE'.

                            As a consumer what I am supposed to do? Please suggest.

                            My sincere advice, pl do not take any type connetion form the Reliance other wise you will be in loose your peace and money.

                            At the time of Installation or termination of connection, they do not tell us about you will be fined by early termination charges that is much more than your monthly bill.

                            In my opinion Reliance (AMBANI) is the world biggest CHEATER company.

                            at the time of Installation they never told us about early termination charges.
                            I have paid Rs. 500/- for Installation, after one year due to some reasons i told CC to disconnect my connection. at the time of disconnection they don't tell us about early termination charges.
                            their executive collect the modem, instrument and all the wire pieces.
                            after two month they sent me a bill of Rs. 3250/- of early termination charges.
                            in my opinion they are cheating me.
                            So i suggest/advice, pl do not take any type connection from Reliance broadband.

                            Reliance broadband is the big cheater co in the Telecom Industry.
                            Ambani is the bigger cheater.

                            Pl suggest should i go to consumer court against their cheating.

                              Case Synopsis
                              •I visit Reliance web-world at Borivli West with 2 cell phones on Saturday, 23

                              August, and request them for handset change cards.
                              •Staff informs that the cards are now not available, and they would do the

                              transferring of the numbers to the new handsets directly through the system.
                              •I am attended to by Mr. Athmaram More. He manages to transfer 1 number

                              successfully to the new handset, but fails on the 2nd one.
                              •He notifies me that I could walk away assuring that the new handset would be

                              activated in 15 minutes.
                              •After around 45 minutes of an anxious wait I go back and check with him as to

                              why the handset has not been activated yet. He assures me that it would happen

                              in 2 hrs time.
                              •Disappointed, I call him after 12 hrs again on Sunday, 24 August. He asks me to

                              come down to the service center and claims that he would give me a new sim

                              card.
                              •Things turn around at the service center, and he tells me that a case?? has been

                              created in the system for the issue and the new handset would be activated within

                              24 hrs!!
                              •In the meanwhile I call customer care twice and speak with Mr. Nikhil and Mr.

                              Satish. Being unable to resolve the issue or give me a valid explanation, I asked

                              for a complaint to be lodged. They blankly denied this request to log a complaint.

                              On much argument, they lodge a complaint and give me the reference number

                              assuring me that the issue would be resolved and they would get in touch with me

                              within 24 hrs!!.
                              •On 25 August, I contact Mr. Athmaram again; he once again calls me to the

                              service center, and gives me a new sim card. However, this also did not help

                              activate my number. He once again logs a complaint and gives me a second

                              complaint number, assuring that the issue would be resolved within 24 hrs and

                              they would get in touch with me personally.
                              •Today is 26 August, and I am still waiting!

                                VERY UNFORTUNETLY I M ALSO A HELPLESS USER OF RELIANCE PRODUCT, i.e. net connection.It was deactivated due to a non payment of rs.8.64 thus i made a payment of rs. 10/-on 19th of august and got an assurance of getting it reactivated within 24 hrs. till last friday(22/8/2008)their 24 hrs was not completed.then on friday they asked me to submit my address proof, which i provided them on saturday, 223/8/2008, today is 26/8/2008 no action has been taken till date.if i, the customer, dare to ask questions to your customer care executives, they simply says we r sorry but u have to go to web world and once again give them address proof, AND DISCONNECT THE LINE
                                i got an assurance of get my line activated within 24 hrs. now it is 192 hrs.and still going strong it reminds me of a famous dialog from film DAMINI 'hamain mila kya sirf tarikh pe tarikh, tarikh pe tarikh'

                                hope now some thing can be done at least within this month of august 2008 (i write 2008 because otherwise reliance can says it is for 2009)

                                  From last 10 days there is very poor network or no network problem with RELIANCE smart.
                                  While in mobile it display full network, but at moment during dialing neither net- work appear nor communication done.

                                  Due to this neither incoming nor out going call is possible. If any ways it gets connect call is disconnect during call due to no network. Sometimes caller say something but listener unable to listen.

                                  I'm Deepak khosla bearing the subscription of Smart GSM having phone no. [protected] would like to inform you that, I've lodge the complaint regarding the ill network conditions here in Rourkela particularly in civil township, panposh and chhend . We usually face difficulty while listening and talking to people through out the day and in night time also, for which I and my friends who have the same problem have lodged several complaints to the customer care and was promised to resolve the same as soon as possible. But now It has been already 3 weeks and still we are facing the same problem.

                                  Therefore I request you to kindly look into this matter and take some action as soon as possible.

                                  Reliance Smart — Very Poor network

                                  Since the last two days in Orissa particularly at Berhampur (Gandhinagar) region SMART feels proud to give a very poor sevice to the fortunate customer. No calls are coming and going except SMS, it only shows connection.
                                  So I wanna draw the attention of the authrity who is taking money for that.

                                  Smart — no network

                                  in our busy schedule we cannot contact our buisness team for more than 24hrs... i was out of station and i lost my suitcase and at midnight i even missed my train... wiith no money in hand and just having my cell phone i could not connect to my family...

                                  I am using your service since last five year at bhubbaneswar, orissa but network is very very poor & now i am thinking to change the connection bcoz other telecom companies are providing good network coverage. Bhubaneswar is the capital of orissa, if your network coverage is not good in bhubaneswar what is signal condition in rural area it is better known. your company sent a message few day before that you are choose india's most trusted service brand in economic times survey, it is very sorrowfull matter that now bad service provider is choose for award.

                                      Dear Sir,
                                      I have one connection in the name of jay prakash heerwal ([protected]) from 5-6 years. i regularly receive messege from your network that "You Have Missed Calls". But i never switched off my mobile. then how it is possible ??
                                      My Friends/Relatives say that why you dont pickup the call. but my cell never ringing, and after some time one messege is coming from your network that "you have a missed call".

                                      I already complained in your call center - [protected] several times (6 to 7 times). They told me that your complain has been registered with us and it take 2 - 3 days to rectify. but the problem is not yet rectified. I am facing this Problem from last one month. I cant receive so many Importent calls and face many problems due to this.

                                      Please look into this matter urgently.

                                      Hi,
                                      Do you know the Height of Thefty by Reliance GSM. As usual there was a long period of ZERO signal in my mobile due to poor service in Haldia Township. After that i received a Message that you have eight missed calls, please send a message for knowing the missed call numbers. As I had acepted my facte for the last two years of this poor service provider i had send the message since my phone is official and I need to know the missed calls so that i can call back.
                                      On sending the message i got a reply that you hacve Zero missed calls. i was stunned and when i spoke to reliance customer care they refused to listen to the complant.

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        I (Sukanya Ray) have a RIM connection bearing no.[protected] from Dhanbad. My old set has already been damaged and I am unable to use my old set.Thus I had apllied for transfer of my number to a new set(SIM No.-RAXR U[protected] on 21.08.2008 with your Web World, Dhanbad along with all the relevant papers. However, I have not received any positive response from your Web World and your officials yet regarding this.Even though I am following up with your Web World almost daily from 21.08.2008, the staff of Web world as well as your officials are not bothering about this.I am facing lot of problems for the above reason.One of my friend has transfer his number ([protected]) to a new set within an hour from Web World, Ranchi.If only one hour is required for the transfer of number to a new set, I am not understanding why the web world, Dhanbad is taking so much time for the same work?

                                        Lastly I am like to say that the kind of dealings the web world staff as well as the company officials are showing to customer is not expected from a big professionally managed company like yours.
