I had taken a new connection from Reliance India Mobile, Bokaro. I was given Number as [protected] but there is no incoming as well as out going calls possible; giving the message " This no is temporarily out of service." When approached the RIM office at Bokaro, the RIM official investigated and found that address checking has failed. I had given copy of landline telephone bill as address proof, wherein my address was clear ie. Qtr No 1056, Sector 4F, Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand. But in their records Qtr No 1056 was miising due their mistake.
I once more gave my address proof on 28 august 08, still the problem is not liquidated. I have gone to their office nos of times., still the problem persists.
It is very sad to say that this is the service we are getting from such a big service provider.

Kindly guide me next course of action.

RIM — temporarily out of service

dear sir even though i have submitted my full documents to my retailer, but still my outgoing and incoming call even sms are deactivated since last friday so i'm facing problems as my phone no. [protected] is deactivated
who is going solve my problem????kindly look into matter

My father's mobil no is [protected].It is a RIM network. He check his balance in10/08/09 at Morning is Rs.60/-.But in evening it shows bellow Rs.10/- balance.He never call to anybody.

i have a RIM prepaid mobile with 490 scheme.on 8th aug 2009 i have taken this plan.my outgoing calls for other rim set is not possible.Please take the step as soon as possible

    I use reliance GSM and got blocked due to my carelessness. Then i took another way and just entered maximum Zero's when its asking PUK and it asked New Pin and then i entered my own pin. :) I got unblocked :). Try it, Enter maximum Zero's in Puk Code

    Reliance GSM Service — GSM sim being rejected by the cellphone

    i bought a GSM sim card bearing number [protected] in spetember 2009, after 15 days my sim card got rejected when i complained they said i should go to a reliance web world n get that card replaced by paying sum amount. when i searched i got to know that these GSM sim cards are of very cheap quality n that is why the customers are facing problems. while the sim cards of vodafone n airtel are of superior quality n reliance maes sim cards of very cheap quality.
    yeah thats true even i got a GSM sim which was rejected just in 2 days. the sim are of very cheap quality. they shud take a step n improve the quality of these sim cards!

This happens to all who are trying to use security code in mobile Call Customer care no [protected](Toll free - Will not be charged) or *333 (From any reliance mobile), from different mobile. They will ask for your locked sim card no. and will provide PUK code for your mobile No.

        I have invested in Reliance Mutual Fund both in lump sum and SIPs. However, it is unfortunate that the irregularities in investing in SIPs was there in this month. Though I have sufficient balance in my account the said amount was not deducted as a result I lost the opportunity of the down trend of the market. I request you to kindly look into the matter deduct the SIP on that date’s NAV and oblige.

        Reliance Mutual Fund — Amount debited, no response

        Online application
        Rs 5000.00 debited from my bank account on 03-02-08.
        No response to several emails and phone calls.
        Refund not received.

        I have invested through online in Reliance Mutual Fund on dated Feb 17th, 2008 on behalf of my wife. Due to absence of PAN Card (PAN is available) transaction not process. I have make several request through email & written application but still waiting for refund.
        I was memeber of Reliance Mutual Fund family (A/C No. [protected] & [protected]) and was investing Rs. 1, 500/- each under SIP Plan. However, on my request in the month of August for discontinuing from the above scheme, redemtion money towards it was released in the same month. However, it has been noticed that, even after above process, deduction of an amount Rs. 1, 500/- each for both accounts has continued after the above date and money has been deducted from my Bank account. You are requested to look in to matter and refund me the amount at the earliest.

          Actually I was purchaged the Relience Prepaid last year from Agra (UP) and converted in to Life time but as per call center calling they said that plz recharge ur phone with min 200/- so that life time is continued but after 7 days automatically temperarily barred, now i recharged my mobile with 200/- on 25th May 2009 but still the incoming and outgoing is barred. how much time u take for activation.

            Though this is a good feature, that a customer can choose what the person calling you hears, rather then old tring tring. But sometime, privileges are misused, it could purposely or could be due to one's ignorance.

            I got a message from one of my friends that someone was worried about me asking for me, and for a call back @ [protected]. When I did call, there was a "caller tune"/it could be a recording too, not sure, with some girl abusing of abusing her. It could be funny for some, but not for all.

            I would request the mobile company/service providors to monitor on what caller tunes that they are offering to their clients, so that its not disturbing for others.

            I got a message from a friend to call the same number. This is a scam. Don't call the number
            I got the same call and when i did tried this no, it was busy, then i searched it on net and found this link. Reliance has no right to disturb someone's privacy and this should be stopped by law.
            My friend received a similar call from [protected] enquiring about me and they are worried. When i searched through the net i got this site. Plz do not panic because this is a fraud number.

            i've received a msg from one of my frien askin to cal on same number...i've searched on this number on net n found this link...the ques thoug is...how does the caller knw about u????
            This is pathetic and done in a bad taste. Reliance should check and take some action. This sure is a recorded message but I am not sure whether the person at the end picks up the phone or doesn't coz' the phone goes dead. How is it possible to have just a recorded message playing then the phone goes blank?
            It is so ironical, that the telecom companies do harass the consumer for the services he doesnt opt for and swindle money instead of earning it by providing the useful services.
            what heck can a consumer do apart from mulling. when a consumer calls up the Customer Care, you end up talking to a live machines who does not understand the customer requests. Its really a pathetic way of servicing a customer. Moreover the attitude of the Service managers in some branches are so high that they think people who are using their services are a ruck sack. Sometimes I feel its better to lauch my own satellite for the communications .
            Reliance Should Take Hold On This Number. As I Had A Similar Problem Like ( Mr. Shobhit Bhatnagar posted above ).. i guess its a software run by some person having alot of [censored]in free time...
            i guess it goes this way...
            For Eg.
            1 . if that software scans my phone directory it will pick up two number randomly from my phone book...
            eg: Aki & Vicky

            3. and then it picks up two numbers randomly from Aki & Vicky each and call that 4 numbers which was from aki's phoonbook and vicky's phonebook. and the chain goes on..

            *** in most of the cases its a girl.. it can be that when the software picks up two numbers randomly and makes a call to one of the ramdomly chosed number..the guy or the girl for pure fun would talk and give the reference of the other randomly choosed number..

            well veryy simple.. and logical.. spam technology is as huge as internet technology.. its like a regular spam u get in your mails..

              Hi,
              I have taken the WiMax Internet connection from Reliance on 14th July 2008. It was a 300kbps unlimited connection (Plan WICF999) in bangalore.
              The connection was ok the first day (I didn't use it much), but soon I started to see that the speed was not the same and dropped to 50-80kbps on average. And then it finally gave away and then no service!

              I then started lodging complaints and they kept keeping them. Till today there was no assistance from the so called technical team to help resolve the problem. I could connect to service intermittently but without a continuous service. I added more complaints to the list which I didn't keep, the last 3 ones were: 72929641, 73064209, 73112590

              I had called the customer care 8 times until 28th July. There had been no call from the technical team till date to resolve my issue.
              I work for a IT firm and corresponding to the reliance connection I had committed to my company to be *available* online round the clock.
              Thanks to your services I have never met the expectations.

              Though I was told the technical team would resolve the issue within a hr, I have not been approached by any of your teams. Inspite of my repeated calls to the customer care there had been no resolution.
              The last service request I had raised on 28th and until then I have not been able to connect to the internet. Till date there is no answer from your team. I had even taken a promise from the service engineer on 29th to get the issue rectified by 30th and it is still pending (seriously no one want to attend to problems!)

              I then decided to terminate the connection and from Aug 31 I have been sending them email notifications to terminate it as there is no service and I was DOUBLE SURE they would charge me of this NO-SERVICE period.

They just say out technical team is going to call you back, which never happens!!!

              The service never gets terminated neither there is internet connection and they add that the billing waiver request after bill is generated. They (and even I ) know once the bill is generated they had better ways to make me pay than giving waiver. So I requested that the waiver better be processed before bill gets generated, and again they went silent.

              After 10 days (on 21st) they replied my mail and said the connection was terminated!!!

              beautiful, they make it as expected, so many emails requesting them to close it and they never come back now they expect me to pay the extra money, it is not just money, one could clearly see how pathetic their service is. They just want to extract money out of nothing, this is one damn service I would never suggest anyone. Few of my friends have been dealt with really bad language for not paying the bill.
              I have replied them to reconsider their decision (which I am sure they are not going to bother about).
              Hence I have one suggestion never trust these guys they are real pain and there is nothing you are going to get out of this except frustration and losing money.

              Wimax- Broadband service — Neither getting connection nor repaying amount

              i took tataindicom broadband services last month, one month completed, it is not getting connected properly, every day calling customer services and trouble shoot, there is no permanent solution giving. i asked the repayment of money, they are not giving that also.
              Neither giving proper connection not repaying the amount. Really TATA INDICOM Playing with their customers. They are least bother about customer problems.

              Reliance Broadband — Wrong, inflated billing

              We have a reliance broadband connection with landline ([protected]) in my father Mr. Arun Chandra Sengupta's name. We are getting inflated bills for internet usage which we really did not. We requested them to modify the bills and terminate the connection. They have "suspended" our connection but have not adjusted the bill. Their help desk said that we are using the net excessively and a huge amount of money is still pending.The fact is, - we have not used the net for years. They surely have our last two years bills. Those bills will indicate that we have not used the net for a long time as the service was extremely irregular. I complained (# 84818506, dated 03.01.09) at your help desk but the matter was not resolved. To add to my perils, I received a telephone call from your office stating that another four thousand five hundred rupees or so have been accumulated as internet charges all of a sudden! I was completely bewildered and tried to disconnect the net immediately as I anticipate a series of fabricated bills of any amount in future. So, I paid the erroneous bill of 23.12.2008 in full and wanted to terminate your Broad band connection. However, your office said that I have to pay the remaining Rs. 4500.00 and thus making a vicious loop so that I can never terminate the connection and remain vulnerable to erroneous bills forever.

              I have attached a summary of the bills from 2004 to 2008 and that shows an average of Rs. 610.00 when internet was not available/irregular and Rs, 892.00 when internet was used. I have never used the net to generate a bill of four thousand five hundred rupees.

              I may add that I am 84 years old and a senior citizen of India. Your telephone calls regarding the fabricated internet bills have traumatized me beyond apprehension. Therefore, I request you to refund Rs. 146.00 and amend the ensuing bill of January 2009 immediately and terminate the Reliance Broad Band connection.

              I had requested for the termination on the 17 Feb 09 (Before the expiry of the plan) however the connection was still not disconnected. Latter without intimation request ID (Termination Request On:[protected] was closed on 19th February 2009.

              Connection was taken on November 2008 for the period of 3 months, and as such connection was post-paid connection I was supposed to pay 3 months advance payment for usage, which I paid already. Now since I have already paid in advance for the period Nov to Feb 09 hence I am not suppose to pay for anything after I requested of the termination of services.

              I called up your Customer service and was here are the details of the most uncomfortable and time consuming conversation that I had with your not so helping call center team.

              I spoke with John at Retentions dept Mumbai (location); he said call customer care department again and try to log new complaint. That’s it.

              Then I spoke with Sulekha another one of your employees in the retentions dept (did not provide location), she disagreed with me and refused to entertain anything apart from what she wanted me to do. The only resolution that she could tell was to pay the advanced rental for next three months and she told me that the amount will be refunded after 60 days from the termination.
              One of the most uncooperative people to deal with.

              Latter I spoke with Bhagashree, she also told the same thing and when I requested her to log a complaint her system started giving errors. I told her that I ready to wait till she has her system running; however she requested to call me again.

              Please note that I had to go thru all the above during my Business hrs and I have lost my valuable time and energy for no fault of mine.

My plan was changed from 300 KBPS to 600 kBPS without any such kind of request being raised from my side and for two months( bill dated 19/04/2011 and 19/05/2011) i was charged for 600 kbps plan. Even after sending no of emails my complain was not resolved by them and no proof of any kind was given by them on request of change of the plan.I can provide the communication with reliance customer care if required, the name of Reliance Customer Care executive was Sonali Bhagodiya.                   I have purchased a Reliance Data Card after seeing adv. of 144kbps of speed of data transferring. But the actual speed of Data Card is only 1kbps-2kbps . Then I have contact to customer care @ *333 but unable to contact . The customer care officials are careless to care customer .
                  I request from the Reliance Company that don't cheat the customer in the name of good service, high speed of data transferring by Reliance Net Connect Data Card .

                  Reliance Data Card — very low speed

                  This is Mahender Singh from uttam nagar, new Delhi.

                  I purchased a Reliance netconnect data card (Huawei make).

                  You promised a speed of 512 kbps upto 3 mb.

                  I am getting a speed of 20 kbps +-, which is not aaceptable to me at any cost.

                  I opted a plan (Broadband + 1 gb plan), of rental 650 rs . per month.

                  I am not going to tolerate this anymore, and therefore request you to rectify this problem as soon as possible.

                  I am using this plan since 18th april 2009.
                  I too have the same experience. Its speed is pathetic. Customer support guided me to check the speed using speedometer at mcafee's site and it showed just 100 kbps speed. Then they gave vague reasons like to antivirus software not allowing loading o[censored]sb drivers. Please do not go for reliance dataconnect. They just cheat the customers with their tall promises and pathetic performance.

                    Hi,

                    I was a happy customer of Reliance Prepaid mobile for three years. But since 27th August, the Reliance service is a night mare for me.
                    I have rechardged my mobile with Rs. 49 STV with paper voucher. I got message that recharge is successful. But my call tariff didnt change to STV tariff.
                    I spoke to customer care and registered a complaint. They said there is some problem and they are escalating the issue and will be resolved in 60 hrs. The agent also told me that the charges of calls which I made during that period will be add to my balance later.
                    I have waited for 3 days and as the issue is unresolved, called the support again. They said they will escalate the issue and asked me to wait for 60 hrs. This process repeated for 5 to 6 times and they keep on telling the same thing. In between I got message that the charges are appropriate. Which is wrong .
                    On 8th Sept, I am tired of calling and recharged again my mobile with 49 STV. Recharge is successful.
                    But for my surprice when I try * 225 the STV expiry is shown as 27th Sept(this is earlier STV-28th Aug expiry). But when I send sms to 53670, the STV expiry is shown as 8th Oct( the latest STV)
                    When I call customer care they didnt responded properly. One is saying STV expires on 27th Sept where other is saying STV expire on 8th Oct. Also, the free Reliance call minutes which I had till 7th Sept are lost though they are supposed to expire on 27th Sept. When I ask the support for the same, they tell different stories every time.

                    I feel this is the forum to express my concerns regarding the bad service I got.

                    I bought a new connection of Reliance prepaid mobile no.[protected] on 15.10.2009 and then received activation sms, I recharged with Rs.96/-for Rs.125/-balance every month upto six month and thereafter recharged with Rs.48/- for call rate STD /Local/sms/ 50paise but till time received only sms not received any Rs.125/-balance.

                    I complaint more time in customer care but not rectify my problem and customer care executive answer different time different difference then my call not connect to customer care executive after this case. Please help me.

                      Otherwise I cut the monthly rental daily wise.

                        We bought reliance mobiles by getting attracted to the 496 (All India rel-rel free) plan.

                        While taking this plan they did not inform us that it will get expired if you dont recharge before the month gets complete i.e when you take this plan on 1st of a month, you should recharge it before first of the next month to continue in that plan . If you miss to do that then you cant use that plan anymore.

                        The second month when we went to get it recharged, they informed that it is expired and we cant do that. We were out of station when it got expired and inquired in that state whether we can recharge for another state's number. They said that it is not possible. Now after coming to our place and tried these people simply rejected.

                        They should atleast have sent a message stating that your recharge period is getting expired and you should recharge before so and so date.Instead they send mere waste messages .

                        The customer service of reliance is deadly.

                            The worst service I have ever seen. I suddenly stop getting incoming calls from last night and when I call the customer care, an employee Mr.Ravi, emp id[protected] says that there is network problem and the services will resume only in the evening. This happens nearly every month with outgoing calls, but this time it started with incoming calls also. When I demand his Managers no, he says every body is busy and could not give the no. I can call only after an hour for talking to manager. He talks so carelessly that nobody can do anything. When the reliance is not able to provide services, atleast they dont talk carefully. Do these people think that once the life time is made, the customer is gonna stay with them! I have been with reliance for more than 3 years and now I plan to change my number.                                 I had taken your smart connection which is on 312 offer
                                But after 3 months of that when I have recharged with Rs110 they have not given me the total balance
                                That is what they have said in there offer.
                                The great thing is happened when I rechared my account with Rs 110 on 30th july and they said to me that it is not shown in my account.

                                After so many talk with customer care ex. One of your supervisior mr Wasim has told that whatever has happened I can’t make it right but I will assure you for the next recharge and you will definetly get 110 on 110 recharge then I have recharged my account on 27 sep and after not getting Rs as promotional charges I registered complaint about that

                                On 2 sep when I called they told me that your complaint has been solved but till now I have not received my 32 balance.


                                If you can be able to do any thing please do it otherwise I am going to file complaint in consumer forum..

                                had a similar problem with reliance CDMA...but i switched over last week to the new tata docomo GSM service...trust me it is awesome...its got a brand new 1paisa/sec offer which means any call in india (not necesarily only from tata to tata) will cost you just 1p/sec!!!...was surfing thru their site and got some tariff plans if you'd like to take a look (http://tatadocomo.com/prepaid-plan-details.aspx)..do give it a look in

                                  I have been a reliance broadband customer since May 2008. My customer id is[protected]. Till date, I have not recieved one single Bill.Despite this I made payments for two months, requesting them everytime for a bill. Now, i get a call from them every week saying that they are sending a person with the bills, and to collect payment...but none has reached here as yet. Moreover, eveytime i need to connect a "broadband" connection, it is imperative to call the customer care, where it will invariably be a "software upgrade" problem that will be fixed in anything between two hours to two days. But, on most occassions, the service just does not connect. Now, the services have been suspended for non payment of bills that i havent recieved. Nobody is even ready to tell me the outstanding balance. I heard that relaince services were bad...but never imagined such calloussness from a "reputed" company! They are just not worth it.

                                    I had been today[protected] to get a prepaid handset to BTM Layout outlet. When enquired about the handset I was asked to submit a Local address proof. As I am person who had recently shifted to Bangalore on a 3 months business trip I was not having any Local address proof. I was ready to give my permanent address proof the VOTER ID which he was not accepted.
                                    A person by name IRFAN in this outlet was rude and showed attitude(telling me that even if I roam whole blore I will be unable to purchase a handset).

                                    When I enquired in the Forum Outlet, they said that they dont have a handset in 999 offer(LG3500) and was ready to give the same LG3500 for 1300 bucks. When I agreed to it I was immediately given a form and asked to fill it. I got the connection.

                                    Being miffed about this, I stormed into the BTM outlet and asked Irfan why he had behaved in such a manner when there is no such constraints in other outlets. He gave some silly reason called "COMPANY POLICY" which I really don't understand how it can vary from outlet to outlet. Meanwhile he called some other fellow and canceled my activation.

                                    How could such a big brand like Reliance be so careless about it outlets and keep such people on work who throws away the customer. Its a real shame that this has not been taken care of...

                                    I am totally frustrated with the service of reliance mobile. I have been continously complaining the customer care that I do not receive my bill in time, for which i suffer a lot. Recently, i have logged a complain on 8.08.09 vide complain no.[protected] for the same. But till date i, e. 14.08.09, there is no any response on the complain. Today again i called up customer care, and upset with the service. Now i have made up my mind to surrender the connection immediately.

                                        I had purchased a one year packaged deal from Reliance communication - Vashi Webworld about a year back but could not use it for more than last 6 months due to persistent problems.The entire amount was paid in advance and it was effectively a "Zero" monthly rental for all this time.

                                        After expiry of the package. Reliance communications has unilaterally renewed the membership without my consent or knowledge.

                                        I had made a complaint to Reliance customer care on August 28, 2008 immediately on receipt of their bill and asked them to disconnect services immediately. However, I have received a response today asking me to pay-up Rs.399.59 to effect the disconnection.

                                        This matter requires intervention of the consumer complaints forum to ensure for now and for future that Reliance communications does not continue to make it a practice to exploit consumers by renew memberships unilaterally without even the knowledge or consent of the customer.

According. to this plan, Reliance to Reliance local calls are unlimited free, 600 min other local network. but still i charged rs. 0.50/ min for every call. i.e. Reliance to Reliance Call is free now. but 600 min. on other local network that was promised to be given by company, according to plan 299, was not given to me......i tried many times to complaint to customer care. whenever i call to customer care, they said, our system are now updating, or have technical fault..
