Hi,
1) I bought reliance netconnect+ Maharashtra Circle in June 2013 from nasik with postpaid plan Rs 950.
2) I did not use a single byte of data from this service (never dialed *228), as device was lost and I bought different netconnect+ device from reliance in pune.
3) First bill generated on 27 July 2013 with rental charges Rs 285
4) I paid this bill with dues after due date of 14th Aug 2013 - I paid Rs 385
5) I called reliance customer care and informed that device is lost and please discontinue my services, I told them I have paid first bill of Rs 385
6) No communication from reliance for one month
6) I got second bill in aug 2013 of Rs 967 on 27th aug 2013
7) I called customer care and told them I already registered request to discontinue my services
8) Their reply - As you have not dialed *228, we cannot discontinue the services from here. You have to visit nearest reliance world. I tried to argue with them I have discontinued the services in past and at that time I was not required to visit reliance world for same.
9) I went to nearest reliance world in Nigdi (Tilak Rd, Sector No. 27, Pradhikaran, Nigdi, Pimpri Chinchwad, Maharashtra 411035). The store was supposed to be open from 10 AM to 10 PM every day except Sunday and national holidays. This store was closed for 15 days, as there was some store rent issue. Any way I wasted two visits to this store. Finally on third visit I found the store open
9) I explained them my situation. They called their seniors asked me to wait and wait and wait for two hours. Finally they asked me to give contact number and they will come back to me within 3 days.
10) No reply for even after 3 days. I called the main person in reliance world after 3 days. He did not even remember what was my complain
11) Mean while I got 3rd bill of Rs 2100 on 27th sept 2013
11) I went back to reliance world again personally for forth time, explained my situation again.
12) After calling several times to their seniors, they assured that they will resolve the issue. They will send an E mail to their seniors to discontinue my services and I do not have to pay any bill as I have not even dialed *228 and device was not activated from my side and I have already requested to discontinue my services.
13) I started getting calls to pay my bill. Each time I explained them I have already requested to discontinue my services in august 2013 after paying dues.
14) I started getting SMS to pay the bill to avoid legal action.
15) I got SMS that as you have failed to pay the bill be present at pune court on 28/12/2013.
16) This is very short explanation of what I have gone through. Actual pain is greater. Long waiting time on customer care number and reliance world. Pointless arguing with customer care. Different reasons and answers each time from customer care. Explaining my situation each time again and again. And finally hearing we are sorry for inconvenience.
17) My only point is I have not even dialed *228, I have not even used a single byte of data, I have requested to discontinue my services several times and now I am getting this kind of massages
18) Reliance do not have proper processes to resolve the issues and this is not the first time I am experiencing this. I am an old customer and have used reliance high speed, reliance netconnect+, reliance 3g in delhi, reliance wireline broadband in goa on my name.
20) This is highly unprofessional and shameful on their part. Please advice, what should be done.
