I am Neeraja N Menon. I had booked my ticket for April 14, 2014 with PNR number TCSC4H. The flight was scheduled to be leaving at 6.35 pm. But few days back, I accidentally came to know that the said flight was cancelled and my ticket has been rescheduled to another flight leaving at 9.40 am. I have some urgent engagements in the morning and because of that only I booked my ticket for evening flight. So I had to rebook my ticket for April 19th (that is only the next possible date on which I can travel) and I had to pay around Rs.3900 more for cancellation and other charges. Moreover today only I got a message from Spicejet mentioning about the rescheduling of the previous flight.. I feel this is a case of irreverence to the passenger. Because of this only I had to change all my travel plan and had to incur an additional expence of RS.3900. I request you to address my complaint and take necessary actions as soon as possible. I expect you to make the refund for the said amount.

As per the above P N R, I had booked a ticket from Kochi to Ahmedabad and back on
14th April 2014 and 18th June 2014 respectively. My
programs were scheduled accordingly and I was suppose to join for my internship
at Ahmedabad on 15th April 2014 morning. Fortunately when I checked
my P N R status on 15th March 2014 I have come to know that you have
rescheduled your flight timing of 14th April 2014 to 09.40 a.m. from
Kochi instead of 06.35 p.m. and this was not informed me also. I have got your
S M S only on 21st March 2014. If I travel to Ahmedabed according to
your new schedule (09.40 a.m.) I will lose my class on 14th April
2014 which is very important. So that I was forced reschedule my journey
according to the new P N R only because of your mistake.

You may kindly note that as per your new Air Ticket you have charged Rs. 3, 900/-
(Rupees Three Thousand AND Nine Hundred Only) as Change/Cancellation Charge.
But I really regret to say that it’s not fare to charge Rs. 3, 900/- from me for
your mistake. Hence I would request you to kindly refund me the difference of
Rs. 3, 900/- at the earliest. Otherwise I will be forced to take further steps
to get the refund.

Your early action in this matter will be highly appreciated and looking forward to
hear from you soon.

      This is with utmost disappointment am mailing . This is the second time am facing such a problem because of spice jet rescheduling flights. I have booked a 21:10 flight from Mumbai to Chennai for 1st april 2014 during the offers they came up with in jan 2014. Now, the flight is rescheduled to 20:30. As I will be arriving at mumbai airport only by 19:55 (by another flight from goa) which makes it impossible for me to catch the 20:30 flight because the check in counters will close by 19:45pm itself. I contacted the spicejet customer care agents and they that they will not be able to reschedule my flight because the timings changed is less than 90 mins.As they say only if its above 90 mins they give full refund or reschedule to next flight within 7 days from actal departure date.But these policies are not mentioned on their websites nor its mentioned in their terms & conditions which we have to accept during the flight booking. Seriously, this should not be a reason at all. Is spicejet fooling the public by putting up such policies. You tell me, what do I do now?should I again spend money /pay for rescheduling charges for other flights??/. This is not the first time this is happening, even last year the flight was preponed and i suffered losses because of that. Is this a new way of pulling money from public, put up unreasonable policies then reschedule flights such that you rake in more money?Is this how spicejet fleeces its clients The customer agent asked me to reschedule my previous flight . How can I do that when its on time? Will spicejet bear the charges of rescheduling my previous flight?? So, spicejet should either bear the charges for rescheduling my previous flight or reschedule my departure to their next flight from mumbai at no additional cost. below are the pnr details: 1.         I, Anurati Srivastva was sleeping on the flight, SG255(Spicejet) Booking ID - NF[protected] on 20th March 2014 when the cabin crew member named Neha spilled a hot cup of coffee on my head. My scalp was scalded. Her irresponsible behaviour has caused me both physical pain and emotional trauma. I am a student and was going from Delhi to Goa to my college after Holi break. I demand compensation as this is a breach of the Right to Safety and I could have been more seriously injured due to the negligence of the untrained air hostess, Neha. Please take appropriate action against her and compensate me for the damage and harm done.

          I booked a two tickets through online spice jet.com from Chennai-Hyderabad, Hyderabad-Singapore on 1-MARCH-2014 and my ticket status is confirmed.But the passenger was not traveled from Hyderabad - Singapore because the ticket is not confirmed from Tiger airways through mis communication between Spice jet & Tiger Airways and theTicket cost is Rs.10806.Passenger faced a lot of mental & financial problem and the passenger will escalate this issue from Airport itself no response from there they tell not able to do. You can call to spice jet customer care and i informed this issue to spicejet customer care through phone as well as email and then i make new ticket of RS.30814 from Hyderabad to singapore through silk air. Regarding this spice jet approved this issue and give the positive feedback but from the past two days no response from the spice jet team . So please take this issue seriouly against spice jet and i need my full refund amount it is almost 21 days ago.

            Dear Sir,

            The complain is regarding the poor SpiceJet poor mgmt decisions and to treat its customers as victims. I had booked a flight SG236 for 4th April 2014 on 21st Jan 2014. But just 15 days before, flight made cancel without telling reason to customer with out provising the option with in same time frame.

            Now Customer is sufferer and SpiceJet has no care for its premium customer (As I am frequent SpiceJet traveller So, Company nominated me as premium customer of SpiceJet) but Still no care at all...

            Really feeling annoyed after facing financial loss and lots of mental stress as gift from SpiceJet.

                Am Niveditha n a studying M-tech in Hindustan university, padur Chennai .My father booked flight due to an emergency on 07march 2014.flight number-SG 3307 Chennai to trivandrum.i reached Chennai domestic airport at 5.30 .In ticket they dint mention boarding time.and i get the boarding pass at 5.45.in boarding pass they mention gate number 4 but they didn't mention boarding time.after checking of baggage i was waiting at gate number 4 .where no officials of spice jet is there to confirm.i was waited till a regarding officials to come.after a long time they inform kochi flight i asked them about trivandrum flight.the person who is on duty said it gone in harsh and he says he call me more than 20 times and tried to call in my mobile number.the ticket was booked through an agency they give there number for contact that we don't know.the spice jet who is on duty on gate 4 was rude.I was waiting inside terminal and i didn't heard any calls .After getting boarding pass the officials who are working don't have any responsibility.and one of the worker of spicejet he take my boarding pass tell that he want to mention something in notebook and he didn't gave my boarding pass back.so rude from spice jet workers.as a young lady standing at airport at 7.and going back to hostel in this time make me mentally depressed and my parents too .no one helps me to said about other flights .And i booked other flight on jetkonnect at that night for next day.for going back to hostel it's 2hr journey...it makes me sad as well as my parents who are in trivandrum.waiting for officials reply

                  Missing baggage- PNR No.- E3BLKF Udaipur-New Delhi-Bangalore Boarded Spicejet Flight- SG2436- Udaipur to New Delhi, on 8th March 2014 With a through checking for 2 luggage till Bangalore Boarded Spicejet Flight-SG209- New Delhi to Bangalore on 8th March 2014 On arrival at Bangalore Airport, We could only locate one luggage out if the two, one suitcase with our personal belonging, The other suitcase- Aristocrat(company), violet color was not present at the luggage belt, A complaint was registered with help of Spicejet staff as BAGGAGE IRREGULARITY report number-60337 by agent-111637, The TN baggage number for lost baggage is - SG[protected] The contents in the suitcase along with the cost of suitcase comes to around -INR- 45, 000-50, 000 Still there is no news from Spicejet whether my stuff is located or not, and what was the problem

                    I, aaditya raj, had booked a return flight ( pune - cochin and cochin - pune) for 15th may 2014 to 19th may 2014 respectively with spicejet airlines through net banking from icici bank . I booked the ticket on 25th feb 2014 because of the discount spicejet was offering. Howevr the amount of 10, 226/- inr got deducted from my account but the ticket still did not get confirmed. On calling the customer care they said i will have to book the ticket again by making the payment again. I wasted the whole day in booking the ticket just to learn that the ticket will not be comfirmed even after making the paymnet and instead will be asked to make the paymen twice evn when my initial payment is credited to spicejet. Moreover, i am also unable to book the same flight again and this has caused wastage of my precious time and money.
                    Would request you to look into this and get me the compensation for the amount of money and time wasted due to the error of spicejet.

                      Dear Team, Reference: CR/277839/2013 Subject: Return of original fare and difference of fare from new booking This is in reference to the complaint logged in your so callled customer care centre. I received a call and SMS for cancellation of flight "SG 101 dated 18th Jan 2014 from Bangalore to Jaipur". I have informed it through email to your team that this is not acceptable at my end.When I have booked the tickets that is on 7th November 2013 (Direct Flight-Non Stop) the rates were reasonable for flights like Spicejet, Aircosta, Indigo but i have chosen the spice-jet due to brand name. As per our telephonic and email conversations, You were not able to provide me any other flight (Direct flight) and thus not able to solve my problem therefore I have booked another flight on higher rates.The invoice of the new booking was also shared with you on email. I have not received the (actual spicejet fare + difference fare) till date after so many follow ups from my side. Please consider this as my formal notice to you.

                        I travelled from Agartala (Tripura) to Kolkata (West Bengal) on 25th of January 2014. I had a single middle size suitcase weighing about 10 kg, which I put on luggage. Upon arrival in Kolkata, I found my entire suitcase broken and taped up all over (which invariably was done by the airline staffs), and several of my items missing. I would like a compensation for my loss of valuables as well as breakage of my luggage. To top it all no one from the company even had the decency to apologize

                          I was travelling on Spicejet's SG103 flight from Mumbai to Kochi. I had specifically requested a seat in the front row and if that was not possible then the last row as I was travelling with my baby and wanted to cause the minimum trouble for my fellow travellers. The booking clerk even after repeated requests gave me the fourth row. I can understand the first row being booked, but the last row was not. She didnt seem to understand my reasons too. During the flight, the hostesses were rude to us. I asked for a glass of water from one of the hostesses (didnt catch her name) and she rudely asked me to give her a minute. I didnt want to create a scene and so kept quiet. She wasnt doing anything, just holding onto the rolling cart. I waited for at least 3 minutes and she rolled her cart past my seat and it seemed that she forgot completely about me. They did not even come back to check with me later. I thought she forgot about it, but I did catch her eye later during the flight and she just turned away. I dont know what caused that. Maybe the ruckus my baby was creating was one of the reasons, but still it was very rude of them. By the way did I mention that the flight was late by an hour. thank you Spicejet. The journey sure was spicy, just of the wrong kind.

                            Hi, Feels so bad to say that time and again there has been lot of inconvenience in travelling with Spicejet. The rules have been changed and violated as per Spicejet's will and wish, and at the same time Spicejet is not concerned about their passenger. I had booked a flight from Bangalore to Srinagar for Dec- 27-2013. Flight SG224 Via Delhi. Due to change in plans I wanted to get down in Delhi. Around a month before travel, I called up spicejet customer care to check if I could get down in Delhi. I was not asking for a concession or change of flight or change of date or change of time all I asked was to let me get down in New Delhi and the answer by SpiceJet was "NO" and I was asked to cancel my tickets pay cancellation fee of 3500 Rs and book a new one from Bangalore to Delhi for the latest price. I wasn't happy with the response so called up couple more times, infact pleaded spicejet if they could let me get down but every time I called they were so adamant to let me get down. The reason that they put up was, doing so I would be "Violating Airline Rule and Breaching security at the airport" So I give up, cancel my flight and look for other means. Flight turned out to be expensive as the travel date was nearing, so booked a train to Delhi, ended up in a waiting list which got confirmed just few days before travel. Also had to book intermediate trains as backup options thereby losing money. Finally reached Delhi and then to Srinagar after finishing my trek. The return flight was from Srinagar to Bangalore SG209 on Jan-06-2014. I had booked it 5 months in advance. Called up Spicejet on the day of return to confirm if the flight was on time, well it was ! . Reached airport collected my boarding pass, confirmed whether it was the same flight upto bangalore and If my luggage would arrive at bangalore. Well the answer was "YES" its the same flight to Bangalore, same seat and the same boarding pass was applicable for the entire journey from Srinagar to Bangalore. Flight takes off and lands in Delhi. An announcement requesting passengers travelling to Bangalore to be seated in their seats and the same flight would fly them to bangalore. To everyone's surprise the announcement does not remain true for long !!! . Here comes another announcement after 5 mins. "The flight does not fly to bangalore anymore instead its going to Indore. Passengers to Bangalore are requested to get off the plane" "Not sure if I heard it right ... can you say that again .. ? " "You want us to get down .. ? So that flight does not go to bangalore anymore .. ? " Alright.. ! We get off the plane .. But then some questions popup in my mind... "Is this not a violation of airline rule . Isn't spicejet breaching security at the airport ..? " ofcourse it is ... !! isnt it .. ? Thats what spicejet had told me when I had called a month ago. We walk upto the staff at Delhi airport, ask whats happening, what is the alternate arrangement, what about our baggage, and of course what about the airline rule and security breach . For a while they dont have an answer to any of the question, later they make some alternate flight arrangement to bangalore. We were made to go out of airport, come back in, collect a fresh boarding pass, go through security check and all that.. Stopped by Spicejet counter to speak to Counter Supervisor(Satish Kumar). Narrated the incident and to my surprise I get a different answer . According to him, I could have got down at Delhi (while going from bangalore to Srinagar) and that was not a violation or security breach. So spicejet as a team/company are themselves not clear of the rules or are they just trying to escape the situation at hand .. ? Landed in bangalore and called up Spicejet Customer care next day, explained what happened, registered a complaint with them. Spicejet got back after investigating stating that the flight was needed to be flown to Indore and tried escaping with a mere "sorry for the inconvenience Sir" How could they not allow me to get down on requesting so much, on the other hand Spicejet made us get off without any prior intimation . I requested Spicejet to return the cancellation fee of 3500(Blore to Srinagar), which seems very reasonable and logical. The request was denied stating it was my personal problem. In that case, what about the scene/drama at Delhi airport, isn't it a personal problem with spicejet .. ? This is just playing with Customers(Passengers) . Breaking rules as per will and wish !! Customer "Care" as they call, hardly care for customers !! Dear higher management, What if you guys had to go through this yourself .. ?                               Hi Team, Such a horrible experience I came across while planning my travel with spicejet airlines. First, there was an intimation that my flight with PNR no D7ZQTJ got cancelled. I called up and changed the schedule by changing the dates. After 2 weeks, I again got an intimation message saying the changed flight again got cancelled. This time I called up customer care and asked for suitable options. They provided me with stupid options where I had no same day connection. Still, I went ahead and changed my onward journey from 18th jan to 17th jan via Bangalore and agreed to stay the night in the airport to catch next day's morning flight. I had only done this as my marriage date is fixed and I cannot afford reaching Agartala after 18th Jan. While this was done, the call centre representative told me my return journey flight also got cancelled. I now have to bear the brunt of staying in the airport another night with my fiancee as there was no same day connection flight from Agartala to Pune during the return journey. Such horrible and lame on the airlines part not to think about the customer. But wait that's not the end of the story. While I was making the changes for return flight for my PNR and my wife's PNR (E4667P), the call got disconnected thrice. I am now sure that my call was disconnected deliberately. The customer care agent was about to reschedule my return flight from Agartala to Chennai on 2nd Feb and next day early morning flight from Chennai to Pune. The call was disconnected when they were about to confirm my booking. 4th time I called up, this time a guy named Alam Mohammad picked up the call and directly refused that I cldn't take the flight via chennai and I need to take a flight via Blore only. Do you think I have all this time in my life to call customer care 6 times for this silly mistake of your unexpected cancellations ? Do you think that the call center guys helped me anyway by providing false information and disconnecting the call 3 times? Do you think Mr. Alam Mohammad did the right thing to plainly misbehave with me saying the flight reschedule was not possible even though three other staff committed to it? Why so many serious lapses by your team at one time? Was it a mistake on my part by planning my itinerary with SPICEJET Airlines? It has put me on mental trauma and I will think 100 times in the future for even considering you as an option. I request escalation of this incident to the region head/DGCA immediately. I need a call back within 24 hours and want my tickets to get rescheduled depending on my comfort level and not the airlines. Regards, Subhrajyoti Pal [protected]@gmail.com

                                I Booked the retur air ticket from Delhi to Goa through yatra.com, but the for the Ticket from Goa to delhi, but by mistake i booked the ticket for 11th Feb'14 instead of 12th Feb '14. Booking ID- JYKIWA-Ankit Sha and Ankita Khare, booking is from id ankit.shah.[protected]@gmail.com. The very next day, I worte to Spice jet and Yatra to waveoff the cancellation charges, but Spice jet did not replied positively for next two days, instead an increase in price was observed. It was done by mistake and can be worked out but the proffessionals from Spice Jet are not etall user friendly.Instead yatra agreed to waveoff tehir chrages if Spice Jet have considered my case. Also the customer relation staff was not responsding, the calls were not transfered to any senior person who can understand my problem, and niether to the concered department.                                   Hi, Travelled with spicejet on the 9th of Dec from Hyd to port Blair. The was a halt at Chennai. The pnr number is O3N32S. First of all, the flight from Hyd was supposed to depart at 6, this was delayed to 830. We had to call back Spicejet and rebook our tickets. Then, the flight landed at 1235, we wait endlessly at the airport but our baggage isn't there. We check with the Spicejet staff and they confirm it's missing. This happens despite reminding the staff at Chennai to ensure that the baggage gets to port Blair and doesn't get dropped out at Chennai. They said it's all automated, so there's nothing to worry about. I raise a complaint with Spicejet with the complaint number CR/275012/2013. I explained all the problem in detail when i logged the complaint. I get a call a few hours later from the call center ([protected]) they asked me for all the details again and they didn't even have an update. In fact they also took the number of the port Blair airport personnel from me. Just goes to show how terribly connected Spicejet employees are. As all this was going on, we had to spend a large amount of money on buying new things as all our essentials were in the baggage. We didn't even have a pair of clothes to change into. We had to cancel our tickets to have lock which were non refundable and had to stay at port Blair and again cancel our non refundable reservation at have lock too. Additional expenses summing up to about 15000 INR. After all this, we were informed to go to the airport this morning to pick our baggage up. Spicejet didn't even have the courtesy to send it to us despite their mistake. My honeymoon trip is not only ruined but I also had to pay up extra because of Spicejet's mess up. This is despite warning the staff at Chennai to take care of my baggage. This was sent as a mail to Spice Jet on the 14th of Dec, there is no response from them till now.                                     I am frequent flyer in spicejet, I faced 3 consecutive incidents with spicejet in 3 consecutive travels. 1. gave my laptop bag in baggage with locked, when received the bag the lock was broken, When I spoke to the person in charge standing in destination airport, he said we have camera, will check and get back to you. No call yet after 4 months. 2. 2nd incident was in SG - 524, From Bangalore to Kolkata on 6th December, When received my baggage, VIP new trolley, the handle was broken completely. It was a clear incident of handling roughly and throwing. Does it mean for everything we have to tag it fragile so that they treat properly? Again when i filed a complaint, they gave a bill number (5219) mentioned in the complain form, but no communication afterthat. My bag is broken and I need to replace the whole stand to use it further.
                                    3. While the 2nd incident happened, I travled back to my work place on 17th December in SG - 524 from Kolkata to Bangalore, with a new samsonite bag with a number lock system. Along with number lock i added a normal lock in my bag for better security. When i reached the destination and received my bag, it was again broken, clearly shown that it was been tried to open. I am very disappointed with Spicejet, I dont think I will ever fly again after 3 consecutive experience like this and no response.

                                    I came from spicejet flight SG740 from Delhi to Bangkok at 9pm -i put 2 bags, one bag lock is broken and another bag lock is number lock, it was stolen.

                                    This is the behaviour they are doing with the tourists

                                      I took flight SJ234 on Saturday December 14th 2013 from New Delhi to Guwahati at 3.10 P.M, as I boarded the aircraft I saw the overhead bin full (but unorganized, if properly kept space could easily be made, above row 5). As I was trying to organize the luggage above, one of the onboard staff (male) came to me and said sir I will take this bag and keep it in front you can collect at destination. Although I never trust them but since the flight was getting late they were rushing very one up(ofcourse its Spice Jet what do you expect), I let him took my bag. That was the last time I saw my bag. At destination I asked the same male attendant where is my bag? he said you will get it at baggage claim belt. I checked with him are you sure he said yes I am. I went to the baggage claim and waited, when baggage started coming half way thru I got suspicious so I located a staff near baggage claim and narrated her what has happened and I told her I am not sure that my bag was in with checked in luggage and that she should check with the on board staff. I knew the aircraft has not left and they must be boarding the flight, she told me don’t worry you will get it here itself and got busy talking to someone (very rude and insensitive behavior). I went back and waited and soon my hunch came true and my bag didn’t show up. I again went to the same lady and told her, she then started telling giving me all the stories it must be here, please check (as if I am blind and can’t see my bag, also the fact that I was the lone person in baggage claim area). Then I told her can you please check with onboard staff, she told me she can’t as the doors have closed (without even checking, as if she is god and know everything). I asked her to check and she said sir this is a airplane not a bus which we can stop and check (she was telling this to someone who has travelled to more than 40 countries, lived in US for 11 years and has been travelling internationally for over 15 years) STUPID LADY is all I could think then. Then I demanded seeing her manager and instead of taking me to the office she merely pointed me to a small room and said there is the office you can go there. I went there and again narrated the whole thing to a person sitting in the office, he told me to wait and that he will check. 15 mins gone nothing I went and checked, again please wait, another 20 mins nothing so I went back and checked and again the same answer we are checking it takes time so please wait. This whole thing continued for 1.5 hrs, with no result. As my car was waiting outside and since there was nothing I was getting and that I was getting late for the Wedding Reception I had to attend I decided to leave my phone number with them and asked them to give me a call. All my stuff that I had brought to for the wedding was in that bag, I was feeling so stupid that I travel from Jaipur to Guwahati attend this wedding I will have to attend that in a jeans and t-shirt. As there was not even time to go buy a decent one. The person at the kiosk told me that sir we will call you tomorrow to give you an update. Till date (today is December 17th) I have not received any call from them. I am still waiting to hear. On the next day when I was taking my return flight from Guwahati to Delhi I went and asked again where is my bag, is there any update. Again I got blank faces and no answer.

                                        we were informed two days prior that group(10 tickets) return flight from colombo to madurai on 10 november2013 was cancelled due to technical issues.on an international leisure tour we were neither given an option of another flight nor accommodation was provided.the refund supposed to come in 7 days is still pending.we had to book another flight on the same day in another flight at an expensive rate.the harassment to connect to spicejet group desk and then to customer care spoiled the entire trip.we had to reach on the booked date as we had our train tickets from madurai to coimbatore on 10.11.13. Also we had a flight on the next day(11.11.2013)to Ahemdabad. so at any cost we had to reach back.The response from the airlines is unacceptable. we stayed and reached back at our own costs.the airlines agreed to give us a refund but were unwilling to give it in writing about the cancellation of the flight. its been a month and the refund is still pending.we are connecting with the authorities but there is no proper response and delay in refund.When we last connected with them the informed it would take another 10 days. The unprofessional behaviour of the attitude is nothing new to us as we faced the same 16 months back when travelling from Coimbatore to Jaipur via Delhi. there has to be solution to this unacceptable behaviour and the harassment of the consumers.
