Removal of paddle lock from check-in bag

On 05-May-2014 I have travelled by Spicejet Flight SG-509 from Delhi to Bangalore. On receiving my check-in luggage I noticed that paddle lock (yelllow in color) was missing from my suitcase. I would like to add some comments on Spicejet. I travelled to Calcutta on 23 April, 2014 via SG-819. After the doors closed I found that the front row was UNOCCUPIED.
