I had bought a Spicejet ticket through Cleartrip .com. I was suppose to take the flight on 30th of September 2009 from Delhi to Kolkata. I had an medical emergency in Kolkata where my mother stays alone. I reach the airport 15 min before taking off since I was caught in traffic. The representative simply refused to listen to me saying they have closed there list and every one has boared the plane and also refused to refund my money. I had to take some other flight to get to Kolkata.

You can approach consumer court but you need to show negligence on the part of the Air Lines. The Air Lines are well within their rights to leave a passenger who reaches late. However, non-refund of ticket for the flight you never took can be a subject matter of negligence on the part of the airlines.

All airlines close their check-in counters as per their schedule around 20-30 minutes before scheduled departure, depending on airline to airline. This helps them in ensuring that flights take off on time. If they start entertaining a passenger who reaches 15 minutes late, then why not 10 minutes or 5 minutes late or even later. This way airlines can never function on time.

No-show is never refunded, be it Indian Railways, any movie theatre etc...

Only refund that is legal is the Passenger Service Fee (PSF) of Rs. 229 per passenger, which airline had collected on behalf of the Government. If passenger does not board the flight, he can ask for refund o[censored]npaid taxes.

You should think logically before complaining.

I was traveling from Pune to Chennai on Thursday, 28 Mar 13 SG 219 Pune 23:00 hrs

Due to heavy traffic i reached at exact 22:25 Hrs, on the counter at pune airport, the person denied a boarding pass for me & told i cant board the flight because I am late,
& the flight take off time was 23:00 hrs i& i reached almost 35 minutes earlier, only 10 minutes passed for 45 minutes before departure, the person talk so rudely to me as if some uneducated person is standing in front of him, the very rude & disgusting customer representative i saw in my life, I am a frequent flyer from Pune to chennai almost 1-2 times in every month through various airlines but saw a worst service with spicejet.

Even 2-3 times with Indigo & Goair i boarded flight before 15 minutes, & they had allowed me to board as i found they give value to the customers,
the person argued with me for 15 minutes & wasted 15minutes but haven't even bothered to check, whether he can allow me to board me on flight & when i went to raise a complaint to the Spicejet manager even the manager was not available & the person told me that i can meet manager after 12 midnight only.

I wasted almost 6000 Rs to take a different flight to reach Chennai from Pune, because of the rude & misbehaviour of the representative, & in future will see to that i will never travel & prefer Spicejet to any of my Company members who are traveling daily from Pune to chennai & have also informed my HR to not book any tickets with spicejet in future.

Refund of ticket cancelled by spicejet

I am pnr: M8QCQG. I have submitted all the necessary documents for the refund of the my ticket to my friend's bank account but till now I have not received the refund. I do not know whether I need to take the help of Consumer Court.

    I had booked my ticket for date 28 september 2009 .Due to some reasons I wanted to change the date of ticket from 28 Sept to 8 Nov so I saw rates of tickets on your official website it was Rs 2700 including taxes . I called spicejet toll free number[protected] on 20 Sept. , I was informed by Ms Nisha that I have just to pay Rs 745 as charges for changing the date . On 21 sept i.e. today i went to airport and Ms Aurpita charged me Rs750+Rs529. I checked on 20 sept in evening, in morning of 21 sept and after coming from airport at 12 o'clock the ticket still charges Rs 2700.
    I am your regular customer and now its your responsibility to give me back those Rs 529 to me.

    I had booked my ticket for date 16 february 2010 .when i book my ticket on the ticket THIS IS AN INDIAN ARMY FORCE PERSONAL BOOKING this msg is diplay on the journay date mean on 6 march when i am at the cochin airport the security is prohibited me to enterned in the airport so it is so unconviniant to me and my family I am also a class one officern working along with the maharashtra govt. and that kind of your respons to us is very bad.
    If by mistake the booking show that it is an indian army booking so you must ask the identy number or any recognization of identity of indian army but you ask nothing so they charg me on the airport rs 9, 684/- and the amount of first ticket is totaly west so refund my money which is extra charge by you.
    I am a regular customer and now its your responsibility to give me back those Rs 6000 to me.

      Dear Sir/Madam,
      I am a serving IAF Officer presently posted at Air Force Administrative College, Coimbatore (Tamilnadu). I had booked a Round trip from Coimbatore to Delhi for self and my daughter Ms Apoorva Yadav for travel on 19 Sep 09 and 04 Oct 09 respectively by Spicejet Airlines vide PNR No. R1M9CR. Due to my domestic constraints, I realised that I will not be able to perform the journey as per my earlier plan, hence I telephonically contacted the Airline staff for cancellation of the ticket wherein I was informed that the ticket cannot be cancelled as it has been booked under Promo scheme for Defence Personnel and that the matter is beyond their purview and I was advised to contact [protected]@spicejetcom. When I contacted the Customer care service as advised , they confirmed the above said views of the airline staff. On subsequent Enquiry on the rationale of my losing out the complete booking amount of Rs 13173/- without availing any of the airlines facility. I was given a reply that Cancellations/Preponement/Postponement can be done if I approach them atleast 2 hours before scheduled departure. Accordingly, when I contacted them at the given number([protected]) at 0815 A.M. on 19 Sep 2009 Two hours before Departure. I was told that THE TICKET CANNOT BE CANCELLED. Under the circumstances I stand to lose the complete booking amount of Rs. 13173/- I would like to give you the fare details-Basic fare-3998 and7198,-1x defence personnel-7597, Domestic trvinsure-258,PSF-916, Fuel charges-8000 and Airport Fee-400. And I lose RS 13173/- without seeing even the hind sight of aircraft? May I request you do something about this seemingly UNFAIR situation which is violative of the BASIC PRINCIPLES OF NATURAL JUSTICE. My contact number is [protected]

      Low cost carriers have there own fare rule i belief they wont allow you to cancell the ticket at the last moment..
      but i've an experience while flying to delhi with the same airline from chennai i reported late to the counters by the time counter staff denied my boarding and they book me to another flt of spicejet in the evenin..
      i felt good with these people...

        This is the third time I have had a bad experience with Spice Jet airlines and I have sworn never to fly with then again, nor would I let any of my near and dear ones do that.
        Following are my experiences:
        1. Flight from Delhi to Pune: On reaching the airport I was told that the flight was pre-poned by 1 hour and had already left. I had received no notification about the same.
        2. Flight from Delhi to Mumbai- The flight was clubeed with the next flight to Mumbai ( no explanations given) and was hence delayed by 2-3 hours.
        3. Latest experience- 2 days back- Flight from Delhi to Ahmedabad- was cancelled. SMS was sent 7 hours before the departure. No explanation was given.

        I would request everyone reading this to please avoid flying with Spice Jet as they are extremely unreliable and unproffessional.
        Agree! Spicejet guys don't have a clue as to what is customer service!

        I made a date change for one sector. Was charged for 2 sectors. Also, was additionally charged for 2 additional meals! That is for 4 meals on 2 flights. Was told that some "seniors" in customer service dept will call me back. Hasn't happened yet.
        My PNR : N29SCF.

        Made a request for cancellation for one passenger (from PNR Q1Q7BC). The name was removed to another PNR. But, no information of the new PNR - neither by email nor by SMS. Over 2 weeks! On calling Spicejet, they refused to give me the new PNR on phone. Said they've sent email and SMS. So, now I have no new PNR, and cannot cancel the booking. So I lose the money paid to them! Great!!!

          On July 4, 2009 - Mumbai Airport 1B terminal - Spice Jet annouced delay of his Chennai flight at 5.30 a.m (dep. time 6 a.m.). They said flight will take-off at 8.30 a.m. We had our connection flight from Chennai to Trichy at 10.30 a.m. Accordingly we approached Spice Jet officials, they cooly pacified us by arranging us (Mother (Senior Citizen), Brother, Brother & Family -3 Adults +1 child +1 infant) Kingfisher Airlines from Chennai to Trichy (dep at Chennai -12.35 p.m.). But Flight took of at 11 a.m. from Mumbai. So, we missed our 10.30 flight from Chennai to Trichy and Kingfisher airlines also because of this delay. When we reached chennai at 1 p.m and approached spice jet officials for alternate arrangements, they washed off their hands by saying we can't do anything.
          When contacted Spice jet official (over phone) in mumbai they said we tried our best and we can;t help. When confirmed with Kingfisher airlines (using our PNR) in chennai airport counter they said ticket has been cancelled and 100% refund is recommened. Since Spicejet booked that, they got money back. This is the act of cheating.

            On 6 July 09, I booked a ticket through internet banking for a trip from Mumbai to Bangalore on 15 July 09 wherein an amount of Rs. 3523 was deducted from my HDFC account but no ticket was booked. I request you to please look into the matter at the earliest so that a ticket can be booked for my planned movement.

            On the 22 Apr 09, I booked a ticket through internet banking for a round trip from Srinagar to Bangalore on 28 Apr 09 and 03 May 09, wherein an amount of Rs. 8886 was deducted but no ticket was booked. Further the same incident occured the next day, 23 Apr 09, and an amount of Rs. 10136 was deducted. Complaints have been registered with the company (Complaint nos. 34025 and 34126) where they expect the money to be refunded within 5 working days. The amount deducted will not allow me to book a ticket in another airlines as it has reduced my bank balance. I request you to please look into the matter at the earliest so that a ticket can be booked for my planned movement.

            Spice — deduction of money from account

            My spice prepaid mobile no. [protected], now taken over by idea.On 29th April 09 at 11.24am a message came to my phone that "Cricket pack has successfully been activated . Call 5646601 to enjoy. Valid for 30 days." When I did not accept for a code below, again received the message at 11.34 am that " U are successfully deactivated from Cricket TRYNBUY offer for IPL" But by that time a sum of Rs.49 was deducted from my account, which was not credited back . I contacted the customer Care but the executives did not cooperate.
            My Compliant: PX-T20 (cricinfo.com) who deducted Rs.49/ to activate the service without my consent did not credit back the money when successfully deactivated the package.
            Unnecessarily a lot of vague messages would appear from PX, IA-XI-IDEA etc which are disturbing.

            I too booked the ticket and the payment was deducted and till now no confirmation
            On 7/12/2009, I booked a ticket of 2 passengers through internet banking for a journey from Bangalore to Delhi of which the departure was on 19/12/2009 by flight no SG-254, departing at 16:40 hrs, wherein an amount of Rs.10, 752 was deducted from my SBI account towards my fare charges but no ticket was booked due to some error for which a case number - SG[protected] was provided. Hence i request you to look into the matter at the earliest and book the same ticket of my journey and post it to my e-mail mentioned above.

            Spice Jet Airlines — Refund not Paid

            my flight for Kolkata to Bangalore was cancelled on Jan 1 (PNR KZTSPB). ever since then I have not received the refund. I called up the customer care 100 times and nowadays they are not reachable, Please help me get my refund.

              I booked two Spice Jet tickets to travel from Kolkatta to Chennai - Aug 15 2009. Today is July 3 2009. I called the Spice Jet customer care to cancel the ticket.

              I did not fly due to a personal reasons and was unable to inform Spicejet 2 hrs prior to the flight time for a reschedulement as per their requirement for which they charge an amount.

              I was booked for a Spicejet flight between Cochin and Delhi on 2nd June, 2009 supposed to leave at 11.30 am. When I reached the airport at 10, i was informed the flight had left at 9.30 that morning. There were some 20 people stranded. The staff insisted we had been informed through sms, which none of the stranded passengers had received. The company failed to take responsibility for this inefficiency and lack of customer care.
              But I have received everytime I have booked Spice Jet.
              I agree with this complaint.Spice jet has failed miserably( and may intentionally) in communicating ot the passengers!! We reached the airport at 6:15 for a flight which was to take off at 7:40. If all check-in s have stopped by 7:10 ( so atrict as per their 'manager' there'), atleat an announcement can be made by them so that passngers who are already at the airport go and check-in rather than not being allowed to board the flight for being '5' minutes late!!
              I recommend people to NEVER use Spicejet!!!
              Low cost airline like spice jet can only be :CHEAP: Although I had heard about their cheap gimmicks, its sad that we had to experience to know the truth.So all those whoi do not agree with us, ALL the BEST guys--You can learn on ur own experience!!!
              i had to board my flight from delhi to goa on 30th of june 2010, departure time 10:40am.i had checked iin my luggage and was waiting at the gate.at 10:25 am when i asked the officials they told me that the flight has already departed.spice jet did not even bother to make any announcements regarding the flights.i ultimately had to return from the airport since they paid no attention to my complaints.the only solution to all problems seems media now.unless you get media coverage on a problem no one bothers listening..

                My in-laws traveled by this flight from Kolkata to Bangalore. I had pre-booked VGML for both them. Surprisingly, they were provided only 1 meal. Even after repeated insistence by my father-in-law, he was 'explained' by the hostess that the cost was paid for only 1 meal!

                Be careful!
                Do not buy any of the addl services offered by them in the internet. For me, I will never fly by Spice!!

                  I booked a spice jet ticket for my wife on spicjet flight SG104 dated 13 June 2009 from Ahmedabad to Delhi (Booking reference number S6B1CN). I later changed the flight to 12 June 2009 (same flight number) and paid Rs. 750 as the rescheduling fee. On 11th June I was informed that SG104 for 12 June has been cancelled. I called the airline and they told me that they will issue full refund of the ticket cost but not the rescheduling charge. I argued with the person attending the call that since the flight is being cancelled by the airline, they have no moral or technical basis of retaining the rescheduling fees and should refund that amount as well. The person then conferred with her senior and assured me that full refund including the rescheduling fees will be sent to my credit card.

                  When I checked my credit card statement I notice that they have refunded only the ticket cost and have against their word and assurance retained the rescheduling fees. This is morally wrong and unethical and I request the consumer complaint forum to take this up with the airline.

                  I am requesting to SBI call center as an when I recieved the call to send the clear statement along with your representative to clear the all amount and sent mail in this regards but no action and simply they wants to drag the issue so that there intrest will go up. This very strenge to such National organise bank doing such chitting and wants to make money in this way.

                  I severeal time regreting to serender the cards but they are not replying.

                      I bought air tickets for Banagalore to Kolkata and return.I had to change the dates and hence went in for cancellation.I had purchased the tickets through Srivinayaka Travels, one of the partners of Onestopshop.reference ID nos are[protected] and[protected]. Instead of deducting Rs750/ticket they deducted Rs1820 and Rs.1739.Therefore the total amount deducted in excess is Rs2059.Request you to pl redresss the grievance

                        Respected Sir/Madam,

                        I have done 2 transactions from spicejet website on 10-June-2009 (through citibank debit card). But when I have cross checked with citibank I found that there were 3 transactions done from spicejet. Please rectify how and who have done the 3rd transaction.
                        Transactions that I have done are:

                        Confirmation Number: I6SWAN Amount: 3980
                        Confirmation Number: Q6QTLV Amount: 6920
                        [protected][protected]---- Amount: 5190 [I am not aware of this transaction]

                        I have informed about the same problem to SpiceJet through email and got response that they will investigate and resolve the complain within 24hr. It's almost 48 hrs now and I am yet to hear anything from spicejet. I also tried contacting spicejet on [protected], [protected] and, [protected] but no one picked the phone.

                        Looking forward for quick action. Thank You.

                          Hi,

                          My Parents had Spicejet booking for 29th May, 2009 evening flight from Ahmedabad suppose to arrive delhi at 8:55 P.M.

                          a) Firstly, no message was sent to my parents at the communication telephone number which was given at the time of

                          booking about the flight delay which itself is a big misconduct.
                          b) Secondly, When customer reached airport on time, upon inquiry it came to forefront that flight is delayed by 1

                          hour.
                          c) After one hour, opon lot of repeated inquiry, it was communicated that flight was expected from somewhere and it

                          is boarding at previous location and shall reach to Ahmedabad after 2 hours, then it shall depart to Delhi.
                          d) At 10:00 P.M., it was finally announced that flight would depart at 10:40 P.M. and everyone started for security

                          checks and boarding pass.Boarding pass has time of 10:40 P.M> and flight was delayed again and finally flight was

                          boarded at 12:10 in night.

                          After much shout, airlines arranged snacks(No Dinner), I wonder if airlines members have snacks at 10:00 P.M. and

                          probably lunch at 2:00 A.M.Again after much shout, they offered meals, the rice was stale due to which my mother

                          had a bad stomach.

                          At Delhi Airport, flight landed at 2:10 AM which was actually expected to arrive at 8:55 P.M.
                          What pitches off is the unconcerned attitude shown by the airlines, as if the passengers are beggars and they are

                          king.

                          1) Through out this trauma, information was not cascaded correctly.
                          2) No arrangement of food was done to satisfactory levels.
                          3) No transportation was arranged for passengers from delhi airport to their respective destination places.
                          4) No apologies were given.


                          I belive Indian consumers are taken for granted by majority of servive providers and I feel the need of having a system of fast processing of these complaints.

                          Vineet is right;

                          I have flown Spicejet five times in the past two months. there was a delay every time. On two occasions it was an understandable delay.

                          Every time they talk about technical snag; same airline having multiple technical snags over a short time span gets bit too scary!

                          Other three were real nightmares for me. All the three times I was made to wait for more than four hours. Once I waited till morning 03:00 AM for a flight that was supposed to start by 08:00 PM.
                          On the same day, there were two more flights those were having unknown status...(For Bangalore & Chennai).
                          Last friday (16th July) there was a huge furore by passengers at the IGI because of a delay in flight SG 309.
                          I am avoiding Spicejet from now on, unless they publicly announce some countermeasures

                              A new rule has been made by spicejet that on cancellation Rs 750 will be deducted and rest amount will be kept by Spicejet as 1-year credit. It will be NOT be returned to the customer immediately.

                              I had booked ticket from Pune to Chennai (25th May 2009) and later I wanted to cancel the ticket and too my utter surprise I came to know this rule. I couldn't say anything because spicejet kept on repeating tht you have agreed to terms & conditions.

                              I did agree to terms & conditions but I was under the impression that Rs 750 will be deducted and rest amount refunded (as is the case with other airlines and till not very long ago spicejet also followed).

                              I feel airline is cheating the passengers. They are taking advantage of ignorant customer.

                              the terms and conditions are not simple or straightforward; it needs analysis and deep thought, before we may, i repeat "MAY" understand the terms and conditions; the cause of my digging today, is that i am unable to understand the price structure and refund policy easily;
                              Very nice o[censored] that u have told the unfair policy of spicejet . I have stopped bookings with the spicejet. Let someone advise what legal action is possible in this case

                                Subject: Spice Jet no more a Safe Airlines for Passengers. Loss of
                                missing Articles valued at Rs 1Lac.

                                I have been compelled to write to you to bring to your kind notice for the Safety of my Fellow Passengers that travelling by Spice Jet Flight is no more Safe & that stern action should be taken against Spice Jet Airlines since innumerable cases are taking place regarding missing of Articles when we board the Flight and One such incident took place with my Daughter Kanika Mathur & my Wife Rajni Mathur travelling by Flight Nos:SG118 to Delhi on 29th April, 2009 at 9.15pm.

                                They checked in with 3 Bags at Mumbai Airport and since the Flight was late they reached Delhi at around 11.40pm and they were in for a rude shock to find to their utter surprise that One Polo Bag was missing out of the 3 Bags loaded .

                                Moreover they had a harrowing time at the Airport as no One was prepared to lodge the complaint. Ultimately after a great deal of ordeal they were able to Lodge the Complaint with Spice Jet Official after undergoing through severe, anxiety, tension, hardship & trauma being Ladies that too at dead of Night for no fault of theirs but on account of negligence, carelessness & mishandling of Luggage by the Spice Jet Staff.

                                After considerable persuassion & follow up the missing Bag was delivered at 2/2, Kalkaji Extension, Delhi next morning ie the 30th at around 11pm and my Daughter 'Kanika Mathur- Asst Global Brand Manager -Unilever' was for an another rude shock finding that the seal of the Bag was broken & the New Polo Bag was in improper condition & shape and to her utter surprise found the following items missing from the Bag:

                                1. Six Designer Sarees with Blouse & Peticoats. 2. Two Salwar Kameez 3. Cosmetic Bag containg 2 costly Perfumes, lipsticks, Shampoo etc; 3. Two Nighties. 4. 2 Copper Mugs etc.

                                It is also surprising to note that Lawrence -Loader of Spice Jet when questioned pleaded ignorance that it was not his fault but was asked by his superior Mr.Ritesh Dubey to deliver the Bag on as is where is condition and he had pointed out to Mr.Ritesh Dubey that the Seal was broken. we have taken up the matter to the highest level and we have till date not recieved any positive reply.

                                I am also at pains to feel & my heart bleeds that Spice Jet Officials do not come on the Phone Line even inspite of innumerable calls made to their Office and are passing time and they lack in etiquettes & courtesy to shy away from the matter and their responsibilities towards the Customers & taking it lightly by not responding.

                                Respected Sir, we would request you to personally look into the matter inorder such incidence do not happen in future. Moreover It is Our right to know as to How out of the 3 Bags this particular One Bag which had Designer Sarees in it was left behind and only delivered next day morning that too after a great deal of persuasion & Follow up. We would like to see the Camera recording & footage of the Loading & Unloading to safeguard the interest of all Our Fellow Travellers/Passengers so that such incidence are not repeated. Sir, How you would feel if such an incident happens with your near & Dear One’s particularly with your wife & Daughter & would you not be compelled to take Stern action in the matter.

                                In the light of the above facts we appeal to your Good self to personally look into the matter as well as refer the matter to Head of the Vigilance Department to conduct a through investigation in the matter, inorder such incidence does not occur in Future.

                                It was very distressing & shocking for me to learn from my Wife & daughter Ms.Kanika Mathur that on landing in Delhi they found their One Bag missing out of the 3 Bags loaded at Mumbai Airport and since the flight was late & they reached Delhi Airport at around 11.40pm they had a harrowing time lodging the complaint since your officials were passing time, and were not answering & informing whereabouts of the Bag and were disappearing from the scene from time to time and particularly they being Ladies were under great mental tension & trauma seeking explanation from your person Himanshu Panda & his colleague, as the stress of loosing 6 Designer Sarees with Blouse/Peticoats, Salwar Kameez, Cosmetic Bag containing 2 costly Perfumes etc; were reacting on their minds causing great anxiety & annoyance to them as they had come to attend a function in Delhi but were forced to pass time at the Airport late at Night. Ultimately after a great deal of ordeal they succeeded in forcing Mr.Himanshu Panda to file a written complaint lodging a claim of Rs.One lac, with a promise that the missing Bag would be delivered the next morning.

                                You cannot imagine the plight of the two ladies that too at dead of night for no Fault of theirs but because of carelessness & mishandling of Luggage by your Spice Jet Staff.

                                After this nights episode my Wife/Daughter were thrilled to recieve a phone call early in the morning at around 6AM that the Luggage has been located & would be delivered on arrival of the Flight from Mumbai at 2/2, Kalkaji Extension, 2nd Floor, New Delhi-19 where my Daughter Kanika Mathur & Rajni Mathur were residing at my wife’s Sister Reshma Dayal’s Residence at Delhi.

                                However this happiness was for a short while and we were in for a rude shock when my Daughter Kanika Mathur opened the Bag on delivery, at around 11Am on 30th April, 09 in front of “ Mr. Lawrence the Loader of SPICE JET” and found that the seal was broken & the New Polo Bag was in improper condition & shape and to Our utter surprise we found the following items missing from the Bag:

                                We called up Ritesh Dubey to ascertain the facts of the statement of Lawrence & made Lawrence also speak to him but explanation given by Ritesh was unsatisfactory. Mr.Lawrence’s signed recorded statement & being witness to the proceedings when the Bag was opened infront of him speaks volumes of the tactics adopted for Missing of the Articles from the Bag as well as carelessness & late delivery of the New Bag in this shabby Condition. Our all relatives are witness to this incident and are at great Pains to learn that a reputed Airlines like Spice Jet can be so careless when we customers had pinned complete faith in your Airlines & we Travelled for Our Convenience. Your’s is a Service Industry & your Company should learn to look after us well rather than cause undue Anxiety tous by such reckless behavior and act of your Careless Staff.

                                It is really unfortunate that I have to enter into such a correspondence since I have consequently no choice left but to seek your help as We feel cheated particularly by the act of Mr.Ritesh Dubey when infact he knew well in advance before delivery that the Bag was a opened & tampered One and the above Articles were missing and made the Loader deliver the Bag iin such a condition & state of affairs and therefore I have no doubt left in my mind that the knowledge of the Missing Articles is between two of them.

                                I am also at pains to feel & my heart bleeds that your “General Manager- Gitanjali” does not come on the Phone Line even inspite of innumerable calls made to your Office and Mr.Deepak Sharma lacks in etiquettes & courtesy to shy away from the matter and his responsibilities to the Customers & taking it lightly by not responding & passing the Blame on us as if we are the Culprits & liars and it is all a made up story and the Staff of Spice Jet is clean, inspite of this arrogance act.

                                It is under these prevailing circumstances that I need to make our feelings known to you particularly of my Wife Rajni & Daughter Kanika who have lost these valuable articles as mentioned herein above & therefore needs to be compensated adequately besides they have also undergoing strenuous anxiety, stress, inconvenience & hardship for all these days as they had to attend a family function in Delhi and therefore made this trip by Spice Jet.

                                It is Our right to know from you as to How out of the 3 Bags this particular One Bag which had Designer Sarees in it was left behind and only delivered next day morning that too after a great deal of persuasion & Follow up. We would like to see the Camera recording & footage of the Loading & Unloading to safeguard the interest of all Our Fellow Travellers/Passengers so that such incidence are not repeated.                                 I call upon you on behalf of my Wife Rajni Mathur & Daughter Kanika Mathur to take strong immediate action in the matter & find the Culprit & conduct through investigation in the matter.

                                In the light of the above facts as mentioned herein above, We appeal to you as Gentleman and request you to make good the loss suffered by my Daughter & Wife forthwith without any further delay and also refund of the Flight tickets as the trip was wasted or else we will be compelled & forced to adopt such suitable proceedings against your Company & Staff in the Consumer Court and move the Press, Media, TV to Publicize this case for Justice as well as call upon forensic Department to examine the missing Bag entirely at your entire risk, costs & consequences arising as a result thereof and You will be liable & responsible to pay damages for the inconveniences, hardships, mental trauma, annoyance suffered by my Wife & Daughter on account of the negligence of your Staff of Spice Jet Airlines which please note.

                                I hope you being the Head of the Organization will act in an upright & honest manner visualizing the ground realities and understanding the Plight of your Customers and accord all help & consideration and be just n fair in your dealings.

                                Subject: Complaint filed of Missing of Bag Tag no:[protected] by Kanika Mathur
                                travelling by FlightNos:SG118, 9.15pm from Mumbai to Delhi along with her
                                mother Rajni Mathur at 9.15pm to reach Delhi at 11.10pm, with Himanshu Panda
                                with a claim of Rs One Lakh on Spice Jet Form No:22708.

                                It was very distressing & shocking for me to learn from my Wife & daughter Ms.Kanika Mathur that on landing in Delhi they found their One Bag missing out of the 3 Bags loaded at Mumbai Airport and since the flight was late & they reached Delhi Airport at around 11.40pm they had a harrowing time lodging the complaint since your officials were passing time, and were not answering & informing whereabouts of the Bag and were disappearing from the scene from time to time and particularly they being Ladies were under great mental tension & trauma seeking explanation from your person Himanshu Panda & his colleague, as the stress of loosing 6 Designer Sarees with Blouse/Peticoats, Salwar Kameez, Cosmetic Bag containing 2 costly Perfumes etc; were reacting on their minds causing great anxiety & annoyance to them as they had come to attend a function in Delhi but were forced to pass time at the Airport late at Night. Ultimately after a great deal of ordeal they succeeded in forcing Mr.Himanshu Panda to file a written complaint lodging a claim of Rs.One lac, with a promise that the missing Bag would be delivered the next morning.

                                You cannot imagine the plight of the two ladies that too at dead of night for no Fault of theirs but because of carelessness & mishandling of Luggage by your Spice Jet Staff.

                                After this nights episode my Wife/Daughter were thrilled to recieve a phone call early in the morning at around 6AM that the Luggage has been located & would be delivered on arrival of the Flight from Mumbai at 2/2, Kalkaji Extension, 2nd Floor, New Delhi-19 where my Daughter Kanika Mathur & Rajni Mathur were residing at my wife’s Sister Reshma Dayal’s Residence at Delhi.

                                However this happiness was for a short while and we were in for a rude shock when my Daughter Kanika Mathur opened the Bag on delivery, at around 11Am on 30th April, 09 in front of “ Mr. Lawrence the Loader of SPICE JET” and found that the seal was broken & the New Polo Bag was in improper condition & shape and to Our utter surprise we found the following items missing from the Bag:
                                1. Six Designer Sarees with Blouse & Peticoats. 2. Two Salwar Kameez 3. Cosmetic Bag containg 2 costly Perfumes, lipsticks, Shampoo etc; 3. Two Nighties. 4. 2 Copper Mugs etc.

                                It is also surprising to note that Lawrence when questioned pleaded ignorance that it was not his fault but was asked by his superior Mr.Ritesh Dubey to deliver the Bag on as is where is condition and he had pointed out to Mr.Ritesh Dubey that the Seal was broken.

                                We called up Ritesh Dubey to ascertain the facts of the statement of Lawrence & made Lawrence also speak to him but explanation given by Ritesh was unsatisfactory. Mr.Lawrence’s signed recorded statement & being witness to the proceedings when the Bag was opened infront of him speaks volumes of the tactics adopted for Missing of the Articles from the Bag as well as carelessness & late delivery of the New Bag in this shabby Condition. Our all relatives are witness to this incident and are at great Pains to learn that a reputed Airlines like Spice Jet can be so careless when we customers had pinned complete faith in your Airlines & we Travelled for Our Convenience. Your’s is a Service Industry & your Company should learn to look after us well rather than cause undue Anxiety tous by such reckless behavior and act of your Careless Staff.

                                It is really unfortunate that I have to enter into such a correspondence since I have consequently no choice left but to seek your help as We feel cheated particularly by the act of Mr.Ritesh Dubey when infact he knew well in advance before delivery that the Bag was a opened & tampered One and the above Articles were missing and made the Loader deliver the Bag iin such a condition & state of affairs and therefore I have no doubt left in my mind that the knowledge of the Missing Articles is between two of them.

                                I am also at pains to feel & my heart bleeds that your “General Manager- Gitanjali” does not come on the Phone Line even inspite of innumerable calls made to your Office and Mr.Deepak Sharma lacks in etiquettes & courtesy to shy away from the matter and his responsibilities to the Customers & taking it lightly by not responding & passing the Blame on us as if we are the Culprits & liars and it is all a made up story and the Staff of Spice Jet is clean, inspite of this arrogance act.

                                It is under these prevailing circumstances that I need to make our feelings known to you particularly of my Wife Rajni & Daughter Kanika who have lost these valuable articles as mentioned herein above & therefore needs to be compensated adequately besides they have also undergoing strenuous anxiety, stress, inconvenience & hardship for all these days as they had to attend a family function in Delhi and therefore made this trip by Spice Jet.

                                It is Our right to know from you as to How out of the 3 Bags this particular One Bag which had Designer Sarees in it was left behind and only delivered next day morning that too after a great deal of persuasion & Follow up. We would like to see the Camera recording & footage of the Loading & Unloading to safeguard the interest of all Our Fellow Travellers/Passengers so that such incidence are not repeated. Sir, How you would feel if such an incident happens with your near & Dear One’s particularly with your wife & Daughter & would you not be compelled to take Stern action in the matter.

                                I call upon you on behalf of my Wife Rajni Mathur & Daughter Kanika Mathur to take strong immediate action in the matter & find the Culprit & conduct through investigation in the matter.

                                In the light of the above facts as mentioned herein above, We appeal to you as Gentleman and request you to make good the loss suffered by my Daughter & Wife forthwith without any further delay and also refund of the Flight tickets as the trip was wasted or else we will be compelled & forced to adopt such suitable proceedings against your Company & Staff in the Consumer Court and move the Press, Media, TV to Publicize this case for Justice as well as call upon forensic Department to examine the missing Bag entirely at your entire risk, costs & consequences arising as a result thereof and You will be liable & responsible to pay damages for the inconveniences, hardships, mental trauma, annoyance suffered by my Wife & Daughter on account of the negligence of your Staff of Spice Jet Airlines which please note.

                                Spice Jet Airlines — Baggage Loss(contained passport)

                                Sir

                                I am Priyank Kanade. I was a passenger on the Mumbai -Varanasi Spice Jet flight SG114 on 26th Sep 2009.My pnr was J2B7BR.

                                Spice jet lost my red coloured check in bag...cotaining my valuables like passport,original certificates,camera,hard disk,clothing etc.(total valuables of worth Rs 50,000).They are unable to give back the bag.

                                I made a complaint regarding the same. complaint no. 47463 on 26 sep 09. Baggage tag no. 015120

                                There has been no confirmation from them.Above all they are reimbursing just Rs 2400 or so.

                                I dont want this trivial amount.I have to travel abroad soon.Passport reapplication itself costs Rs 4000
                                Spicejet is an unrepenting organization and continues to treat the customers as non-entities. I had my new Samsonite (hard back-non repairable) and American Tourister bags broken (new again). How can they break a hardback luggage! They are trying to offer me a compensation of Rs.500 (a new bag costs close to Rs.8000). I can only laugh this off.

                                  I have purchased air ticket from spice jet airlines, but due to some reason i have cancelled it.
                                  Instead of returning my money they send me a mail that ...


                                  Any amount remaining from your original booking after the change or cancellation fee is applied, it will be kept in a customer credit for 1-year from the date of cancellation. That customer credit can be used by quoting the above Reservation Number. Customer credits, if any, can be used towards any future SpiceJet Booking. Please contact our SpiceJet's 24-Hour Guest Sales & Reservation Centers at [protected] or [protected] if you have any questions about this Booking.

                                  It means if i ll not travel by spice jet in future my money will go in their pocket.What the hell is this.
                                  They should refund my amount immediately i don't want to travel by spice jet any more.And i don't need any credit for future.

                                  They are cheating customers.

                                  spice air ticket — spice air ticket

                                  This is in connection with the complain lodged by miss Tenzing Palzom regarding deduction of airfare without issuance of air ticket for flight SG 321 from Chenna to Bagdogra on 20.12.09. The confirmation code to her mai was 01144. In this regard, it is requested that the reply sent to her may also be sent to me since we are miles apart and i want to follow up the matter.

                                  non booked amount deducted

                                  I booked flight from bengaluru to jammu on 4-3-15 for the dt 6-3-15 an amount of rs 7236 deducted from my idbi account but flight not booked. Please refund amount

                                  Ticket amount not refunded

                                  cancelled two tickets one 23rd April 2014 same day within 2 hrs and full amount of the ticket was supposed to be refunded still the amount is not refunded and 2nd on 17th July still the remaining amount not refunded.

                                    Complaint: The issue is: I had booked one Spice Jet Air ticket as under- Reservation Number: X5BWDB Booking Date : 06 March 2006 Guest Name : JASVIRSINGH BUNAIT *This ticket was cancelled well on time and as per their policy, the amount of Rs. 600/- was deducted and the balance amount was kept reserve with them against my wish. *On demanding this balance amount, they have informed me that "We would like to inform you that as mentioned earlier, the amount of Rs.770.00, which was placed in the credit shell, under the above mentioned PNR, has been forfeited by the company" vide their email msg. dated 19th August 2008. *How can they forfeit balance amount lying with them when they have already charged cancellation amt.? *It is good that my case is for only one ticket. if it would have been for more, Spice Jet would have forfeited my huge balance amount. I have my own doubt that "Spice Jet" might have made lot of money like this.

                                    I haven't travelled by spicejet. I booked my first ticket a few days back but I had to cancel my programme. But I cannot cancel my ticket in the real sense. Apart from the fact that they will deduct 750 from the fare the balance will also be not refunded but kept with them that too for only one year. They must be making good profit through these 'transactions'.

                                      I have initally booked ticket on 24/01/09 for jaipur and due to unavoidable circumstance was not able to travel and therefore had asked the airline to cancel the ticket and refund the amount . However they have informed me that the amount cannot be refunded and i have to use their services once again. I have rebooked the ticket for may 27th 2009 for jaipur again. Now I do not wish to travel and once again requested the airline to refund the amount . But understand that they will not refund the amount . The airline is forcing me to use their service when I do not wish to travel . I want my money to be refunded. Kindly intervene and help me out in getting my money back.

                                      I have wrongly booked ticket from Delhi to Bombay on 9th.oct 2010 but i was immediate cancelled the ticket and they gave Reservation number A59ZBC booking dt 7.10.2010.

                                      In this regard I have sent so many mails. But till date they do not reply the status.
