Hi All,

My PNR number : OI4MDA

I had booked below flight for Ahmedabad - Goa and Goa - Ahmedabad.

When I book the flight the actual timing of the flight was as per below :
SG - 137 Deprat Time : 12:20 and arrival : 14:00
SG - 138 Depart Time : 14:30 and arrival : 16:10

Later my SG -137 flight was delayed and I was not informed any thing about the reschedulement. When I was checking flight for my friend then I came to know that the flight time has been changed for that particular flight.
When I called the spice jet call centre they said we are sorry, & they can provide me another option and it will be connecting flight from Ahmedabad - Hyderabad - Goa as per below.

SG - 917 Depart Time : 06:00 and arrival : 07:55
SG - 1071 Depart Time : 12:25 and arrival : 13:55

Again few days later I got call & sms from spice jet on 16 Jan 2013 that my flight SG - 1071 is delayed and now it will be operating from Hyderabad at 13:10 so, on next day I called to spice jet beacuse I wanted to reach goa at 2 PM. When I called spicejet I came to know that my flight SG - 917 and SG - 1071 both are cancelled not rescheduled.
Then after spending my hours of time I take the below option.

SG - 104 Depart Time : 07:00 and arrival : 08:30 at New Delhi
SG - 253 Depart Time : 11:05 and arrival : 13:30.

On 17 Jan 2013, I received an sms that my SG - 138 flight is delayed and now it will be operting at 21:00 from Goa.

When I called to call centre they were not ready at all to listen me and was giving me just arguments. When I informed this to Ajit (Spicjet Executive), He said SG - 138 is cancelled not delayed and later he told that it is just delayed. (He was not sure about the flight status at all.) When I asked to talk with the Manager, He transfered my call to her TL (Megha) saying that She is only Leads available as of now and she is very rude on call and was not ready to listen on my concern and was just informing the terms & conditions every time.
As per her, It is mentioned that Spice Jet is having the rights to cancel, amend or reschedule your flight without any prior notice. where correct condition is as per below. Where nothing mentioned that spicejet will change the flight timings and will not inform to customer.
" 5. SpiceJet will not be liable in any way for delays/ cancellations/ diversions whether due to bad weather, government regulation or for instances beyond SpiceJet’s control. Further, SpiceJet operates on a point-to-point basis and will also not be responsible for the consequence of delays including onward journey on a connecting mode of conveyance."


Now I am mentally harrased due to this and want to do the case against them for mentally harrasment and also want compensation for the same.

Not happy at all with the pooooooooooor services of Spice Jet. They have the worst customer care with whom I had interact.

Now i want to take legal action against them. Please help me for the same.

    I had booked this ticket for my sister who was traveling from USA and was on her way to Hyderabad.

    Please read the horrible experience we went through the SpiceJet checkin process :

    1) Since my sister was an inter-country passenger, she had luggage as per the international guidelines.
    So what does a human being needs to do if they reach any intra country airline ? Throw away the extra luggage since your rules and the international rules does not match.

    2) The executives there were so rude to her as if they were owning the airlines and instructing my sister what to do and not HELPING her with the situation.It seems that they were the part of the CORRUPTED India wherein they just wanted to to make my sister pay for the baggage and fill their own pockets with money.How pathetic of this.

    3) Somehow my sister managed to take out some stuff and give it back to me in the airport itself.Then second time when she went to check in , they started telling that the cabin baggage measurement is not according to their rules.what are filled in spice jet.Who the hell runs this airlines, JUNGLE people.
    Don't they know that the cabin bags are sold as per the international norms and not as per their foolish airlines.So everytime some one comes to India and travels by spice jet, they need to carry a pair of scissors so that they can tear it of and make it as per their pathetic rules.

    4) After the second round, they asked her to check in the cabin bag in the luggage and pay for it.How dumb and pathetic employees are with spice jet.They just want money and they will even make us sell our kidneys to pay for their luggage.
    No respect for the female gender.

    5) 4 guys surrounded her and they had no idea that I was watching from behind but they were using sign language at each other and conveying that they will make my sister pay for the baggage.What do they think ? Are they any mentally retarded people and need to send to an .asylum

    6) They made my sister perform a third round of hard work and she took all her necessary clothes and medicines in small bags and left the cabin bag with me again.

    7) Most importantly, the SPICEJET guy laughed on my sister's face that this ticket was for Rs.2000 - and GO IBIBO made a fool of you by charging Rs.6900 -bucks.I don't think I will be booking tickets through your website anytime in future now.
    Thanks for your inflated ticket.

    Seeing all this, I just came to a conclusion that there is no humanity left with the people and specially with the god forbidding airlines called SPICEJET.
    I will use all my power and social media to convey this to each and everyone how NOT to use this corrupted airlines and also register a complaint with the ombudsman.

      I booked an e-airticket on spicejet website on 13/01/2013, for Delhi
      to Hyderabad date 05/04/2013 dep:19:40 arr:21:45 I made a NetBanking payment
      from Kotak bank account.An amount of 2392 rs has been
      deducted. But I didnt see itenary or eticket after that.I tried
      reaching customer care no. But could never reach for a long time . . . .

          I booked flight tickets for 3 people from Delhi to Goa from my American Express credit card, I got the message that the amount of Rs 14078 has been deducted but the tickets were not booked as they got sold out while I was booking the tickets. I lodged a compalint with spice jet after making several attempts to call them and now they want me to wait for 2 days to hear get a response from them.

          I have bought tickets from spice jet of Rs 50000 today and due to this transaction, my Rs 14078 has been blocked.
          Spice Jet, please help me on this.

            Dear SirMadam,
            I am regular flier of Spicejet. I was travelling from Mumbai to Goa with my wife and son Booking no.
            MakeMyTrip Booking ID - NF[protected]
            Booking Date - Wed, 05 Dec 2012.
            On 24th December 2012 for Christmas Eve celebration on the 3.20pm departure flight no. SG-248.
            When I reached the airport I was shocked to know that the flight was delayed and your staff kept on giving false promises to send us asap but the flight departed from Mumbai at 8.30pm spoiling the whole celebrations and gave me a loss of Rs.30,000/- which I had already paid to resort people and had to pay Rs.5000/- extra to the taxi guy for waiting charges.
            Other shock was when I boarded the flight there were no seats to sit after you had given the boarding passes because some smaller aircraft was sent and the number of Passengers were more so none of the passengers were sitting on the seats alloted and I had to keep my son on my lap for the whole journey as there was no seat left for him.
            So why should I buy a ticket for my kid if I've to travel him on my lap only. I'm very disappointed with the service of spicejet.
            It's a humble request to refund the money for my kid Ranveer Kalra Ticket and also compensate for losses I have beared monetarily and emotionally.
            Your prompt and early reply would be appreciated and encourage me to continue travelling with Spicejet.

              Hi

              I flew from Srinagar to Delhi on 25th Dec (SG 209). At the Srinagar airport, my hal[censored]sed perfume bottle was taken and an SRA given
              On landing in Delhi, the perfume was missing. Despite lodging a written complaint, I have not heard back from Spice Jet (this is after an assurance of 24 hr return call)
              I will proceed to now lodge a complaint with the consumer court. The question is not of a perfume but of the uninterested and callous attitude of Spice Jet personnel

                Dear Sir/Madam,
                We had booked onward flight ticket from Kolkata to Hyderabad by Spice jet flight no.872 scheduled departure time 17:20:00 on 13/12/2012 and return ticket on 16/12/2012 at 11:40:00 by their flight no.871 from Hyderabad to Kolkata vide ATO reference no.AT137504, Airline PNR:ELJBLG AND CRS PNR:ELJBLG.
                I reached Kolkata airport at Spice jet Reservation counter for guidance with my E ticket at 16:30:00 on 13/12/2012 to catch the scheduled flight. The person sitting at reservation counter directed me to go to inside for boarding pass. When I reached at Spice Jet Airlines' first counter for issue of boarding ticket the person manning the counter said that it was 16:35:00 so I had to request the supervisor Ms Shivani sitting at last counters of the row for order to issue the boarding ticket. I went to Ms Shivani and requested her for help. She refused me and said I was late so I could not be allowed to board. I repeatedly requested her to issue boarding ticket to enable me to board the scheduled flight. When she did not accede to my request I demanded Complaint Book to lodge my complaint. She refused that this facility was not available. In this course of request/discussion 10 minutes passed. Then I requested her to give me in writing if she could not provide me the Complaint Book. Then she noted the reporting time 16:50:00 on 13/12/2012 with remarks No Show. She also replied that she could not wait for all passengers and flight was airborne at 16:50:00 thirty minutes ahead of scheduled time 17:20:00. On request of refund she replied that she could not refund or cancel the ticket else I would be allowed in next day flight on 14/12/2012 at same time 17:20:00. Since I had to attend an important programme at Hyderabad on 14/12/2012 and 15/12/2012 I again booked my ticket by Indigo and reached Hyderabad 13/12/2012 at 23:00.I paid additional amount of Rs.7978.00 and suffered mental as well as physical harassment on account of airline staffs' behaviour. I request you to arrange/order for refund of my money and compensation for suffering mental and physical harassment.

                Group Flight Tickets — Mental harassment

                I have booked a group flight tickets of 35 Passengers from Hyd- Del-Hyd i was quoted a higher rate than the airlines quoted me directly.

                2ndly when i asked for a name change of a passenger from Del- Hyd sector and gave them new names Make my trip agent changed the passenger name from both the sectors. And after informing him about the mistake he has done he has not rectified his mistake till now. i have been calling the Customer care for days now and when i write him a email out of office reply comes.I dont know if anything will happen on this, just trying my luck if he can change the name again in time, as we cannot do the name change within 10 days of the flight.

                  My self Aritra Chatterjee was travelling from Guwahati to Kolkata on 13/12/2012 by Spice Jet SG 529.
                  I was chatting with my father regarding the slow services of Spice Jet, then suddenly one of their staff whose name is Mr. Debashis Sinha came to me and he uses abusive words against me and my father in X-Ray Baggage Department at Guwahati Airport. When I reacted that person Mr. Debashis Sinha showing his Id. card to me and he was saying, "Jo Ukharna Hai Ukhar Le".

                  I wasw really shocked.

                  Spice Jet people they don't know how to talk with the customer, really its the Worst Airlines in our country

                      Dear Sir,

                      self along with my family availed Spice Jet Flight SG322 from Guwahati to Kolkata on 31.10.2012 and the PNR no. was YJEHBA , On reaching Kolkata i found that while all my luggaes booked came out but 1 is being delayed abnormally while i enquired about the same with Spice Jet groung staff it was said that it is on the way when it finally reached i found that the trolley handle( Aritrocrat hard top fibre 360 deg rotation big size) is broken and immediately filed a complaint with them and they issued me a (Baggage Irregularity Report) bearing no. 21366 and they accepted the damage and the compensation requested by me and photograph was taken with a confirmation that i will be contacted within 48 hrs.

                      When they did not contact me i called them up and a fresh case was created by them with no.CR/218753/2012 on 05.11.2012 and again it was delayed and i got a call on 6th of Nov that they had decided to pay me Rs.800 against the damage which i refused to accept.

                      Sir, I requested the Airliner to visit my place to have a look at the trolley again as the same was totally out of order in the Airport itself and i managed to bring it somehow to my residence and again i had to transport other family members in a seperate vehicle as the the filing of complaint was getting delayed at Airport.

                      I request you kindly look into my case and ask the Airliner to pay compenation to get the baggage rectified if possible from their end or replace the same.

                        My name is: Juliyana Leslie
                        Traveled by Spice Jet Flight no: 264 this afternoon (2nd November 2012) Coimbatore to Mumbai
                        The scheduled departure from CBE was at 3.10 PM but the flight was delayed by an hour or so.
                        I had 2 bags for security check and in one of it had a box of ear-rings (A couple of pearl ear-rings, a couple of semi gold ear-rings and others were artificial)
                        After the security check I opened my bag only a while back when I got home and found my ear-ring box missing.
                        I am 100% sure it went missing at the security check counter in CBE as the box was in the bag before the security check.
                        I need to know how it got missing there.
                        Plz...help....I expect quick action as this shouldn't be happening to customers who trust the secutity check staffs. What if gold and other costly items go missing thus?
                        Please help...me find my box..

                          First flying to delhi, i was informed of the flight being rescheduled and then while returning to mumbai my flight was preponed by 4 hrs??? How does a flight get preponed?? clearly the tickets i had booked were probably sold to some other person at a higher cost. The cheats even say that they cannt help it and obviously there can be no reason for a flight to get preponed. this was the worst flying experience with any flight till date, as if the customer is supposed to give them the money for letting them torture you. SPICEJET YOU SUCK!

                          Spicejet — Preponing their flights

                          SG237 is the flight from Hyd to Coimbatore. In the ticket, the flight time is given as 7.50pm but the flight leaves at 7.30pm. When we ask their customer desk, they give all lame excuses like we sent you an SMS etc. I missed my flight because of this reason.

                              I'm field automobile engineer working for Cummins and travel frequently. On 21-JUL-12 I boarded flight SG219 Kolkata to Pune. Following are issues 1. Rude and unfriendly staff. By mistake I spilled cold drink and what i got was only napkins no assistance from staff. 2. Continues giggling of Air Hostess made travel uncomfortable. 3. My luggage was damaged, pickle oil was spilled on it, damaged my Shirt too. Note I was not carrying pickle oil.
                              I have raised concern to travel desk of Cummins to abstain from Spice Jet.

                                Hi,

                                I had a ticket booked with Spicejet (PNR - XEC7AL) on 17th Aug'12 from Mumbai to Delhi ( flight No SG118)
                                I had made the booking on 24th May , well in Advance to avoid high prices.

                                On 14th Aug I received an email from SpiceJet stating that the flight has been cancelled owing to some Operational Reasons.
                                I contacted SpiceJet but they did not have other flights to accomodate me, neither did they provide me a booking on any other flight.

                                I had to cancel my ticket and then rebook on a different airline (all by myself) which cost me much because it was booked at the last moments.

                                I want some compensation from Spice Jet as it has caused me mental hassles. tensions, money and also my schedule has been affected.
                                Because this cancellation was from their side they should have provided my adequate arrangements on some other flight (not merely a refund of ticket amount).

                                  Time and again Spicejet airlines, will change their flight timings to suit them and putting passengers in great inconveineince.
                                  1. We booked from Delhi to goa, they called to say flight preponed, so we cancelled booking much later they tell us that the flight is on time.

                                  2. Booked a flight at 12 pm from Kolkata to Goa, they call to say that we have to take an earlier fight at 8 am, all I can figure is that due to competition they put up 2 flights and then put passengers to inconveineince.

                                  All they say is a sorry but offer no other options.

                                  Its time they realise what it is to value commitment, I am forced to alert travelers to be careful..

                                    The arrogance of SpiceJet and its ability to obfuscate the real issue amazes me.

                                    I have been subjected to extreme stress, trauma, agony, harassment and inconvenience by SpiceJet. I got a call on the morning of 4th Aug and a recorded message communicating that my SpiceJet flight to Jammu on 11th Aug has been cancelled. I was dumbfounded!!

                                    • When I had called up at SpiceJet customer care nos after receiving the recorded message Shalini the CSR offered to refund my money. It is much later when I expressed my deep displeasure and requested for alternate connections that she admitted that the same was possible.

                                    • When I called up the 2nd time after consulting my travel mate the CSR (I forget his name) spoke in the same language..we will give refund but no alternate connection..its only after I insisted that I be connected to Shalini he decided to speak to her directly and then and then only he admitted that alternate connections can be given.

                                    • This leads me to believe that SpiceJet doesn’t have a customer centric attitude and policy and believe and indulge in unfair practices

                                    • The connection offered to me is very very inconvenient. Instead of arriving at Jammu at 10am in the morning , now I will arrive at 3pm (approximately) in the afternoon. This will upset all my downstream schedules and logistics. Hence, I had requested that SpiceJet books me either by IndiGo (10pm) or GoAir (9pm) on Friday evening so that I can stay overnight at New Delhi and catch the early morning SpiceJet flight to Jammu. This would have helped maintain by schedules and logistics. This request of mine has been consistently refused on the grounds that SpiceJet company policies does not permit the same.

                                    • When Sandeep had called me up I had again explained the inconvenience SpiceJet had caused to me and I again repeated my request to provide me with a booking by by IndiGo (10pm) or GoAir (9pm) on Friday evening so that I can stay overnight at New Delhi and catch the early morning SpiceJet flight to Jammu. I had clarified to you that I don’t want SpiceJet to provide me with acco in Delhi. It is worthwhile noting that the fares of IndiGo and GoAir and SpiceJet are the same as Spicejet fares (as quoted by travel sites). BUT Sandeep AGAIN REFUSED IN THE GROUNDS THAT SpiceJet POLICIES DON’T PERMIT THE SAME. Now the question arises that is it a fair principle? You charge passengers for cancellations and rescheduling. BUT when YOU CANCEL flights you don’t compensate passengers. WHY?? Logically you should compensate passengers as per the market fare in an alternate airline for the same day and same route because that is amount of money a passenger will spend to travel on the same day which is what he had planned to do.Still you have refused to book me into either IndiGo or GoAir.

                                    • Please NOTE that the connection that you have currently provided is NOT AS PER MY CONVENIENCE.INFACT IT IS GROSSLY
                                    INCONVENIENT TO ME!!!! IT IS BECAUSE I DON’T HAVE AN ALTERNATE THAT I AM FORCED TO TAKE THIS OPTION.

                                    • I HAD REQUESTED Sandeep TO SHARE THE EMAIL ID OF THE HEAD OF CUSTOMER CARE AT SPICEJET. Sandeep REFUSED TO DO SO. This leads me to believe that this is a cover up and there are no honest intentions from SpiceJet.

                                    • Can SpiceJet please explain what can be the operational reason because of which they had to cancel the flight 1 week in advance? I would imagine that it is a ruse and an unfair practice to book profits at the expense of innocent passengers. You can force passengers’ to take refund of their money and then sell the seats at higher prices so that SpiceJet can make better profits. This is your ploy isn’t it? What a dirty game!!

                                      Spice Jet has couriered a cheque(Amt. 7098/-) from Chandigarh on 15th July to be delivered to Mr. Benoy Krishna Roy, Indirapally, Shibmandir, P.O. Kadamtala, Dist. Darjeeling, Pin - 734011. But we have not yet received the cheque.

                                      When contacted , Spice Jet has provided docket number RLA 6988, but we are unable to track the cheque based on this.

                                      Kindly help us to get the cheque as it is very urgent.

                                        This is to bring to your notice that I was travelling to Goa via spice jet flight no.SG803. On the 9th of July. On arrival at the Goa, my check- in suitcase was missing. This undoubtedly came as a rude shock to me as it had my belongings which were important, as I had to attend several meetings there and was left without even decent attire. I immediately followed the regular procedure and filed a complaint of my missing bag which your airline was unable to locate.
                                        It was appalling that, in an airline of your caliber, a bag should go missing, causing severe inconvenience to me. Despite that, your staff has shown absolutely no cooperation and hardly any follow up has happened. I am absolutely aghast at the laxness and unprofessionalism of your organization.
