Hi Team, I, Irfan Mansoori, would like your assistance regarding illegal charges that have been levied on my CC account. I had applied for CC loan from SCB CC team which I was given on a monthly EMI of around INR 5300 pm. My primary account "A" was bifurcated by the CC team into 2 separate accounts "B" and "C". My first payment I made in Dec'14 on my primary account "A". To confirm the receipt of the payment, when I called the CC team, they confirmed that yes the payment has been received and it will be bifurcated into the accounts "B" & "C" and henceforth the same will be done automatically. However, this was not the case. After 2 months i.e. in Feb'15 statement, I was shocked to see that INR 1500 has been charged to my account for non-payment of my dues (which I had already paid in Dec'14). On cross-checking with the CC team, I came to know that the they had not deposited part of my payment in account "C" due to which the charges was erroneously debited to my account. When I complained about the same, they confirmed that the charges will be reversed, however still asking to pay around INR 750 i.e. half of the charges since the statement was generated. Why should I bear the consequences of the error done by the CC team ??? I had made the payment on time, and if its not properly updated in SCB system, is it my error ??? Today, I even went to SCB branch at Malad Link Road, besides Infinity Mall II for assistance. However, the lady at the Service Desk was not at all looking interested in even understanding my query. Indirectly, she was telling me to make the total payment (including false charges) or there will be trailing interest on the same. Is the accounting system of SCB so worse that they cannot even trace and correct the entries of payments or reversals ?? Is the system of SCB so week that they cannot rectify their own errors. I, hereby, would like SCB to immediately take necessary action and remove all the unncessary charges and generate a new statement with the exact and correct dues to be paid on my account. I request the concerned team to henceforth make such required arrangements so that next time no innocent should fall prey to such unprofessional team of SCB CC.     and, at my request, this account has been closed. However, I continue to receive your monthly
    credit card statements even now.

    I had been granted a Credit Limit of Rs.1, 000, 000/- and a Cash Limit of Rs.100, 000/- and these
    figures are shown in all the statements generated by you month after month. As I am on tour
    frequently, I do not wish that any such statement should fall into the wrong hands in my absence
    and thus give room for its misuse. Please, therefore, DISCONTINUE generating monthly statements
    on the above card.

    A line in confirmation of the above will be appreciated.

      This was with reference to my Standard Chartered Bank Credit Card whose account was closed long back around March ‘2009 . For closing my Card Account, I had called Banks Customer Care number for an outstanding account on my card so can make an immediate payment and get my card accounts closed. After getting details of amount to be paid by Customer support officer I have paid payments to my SCB account and always had an understanding that Card had been closed with no outstanding left . But to my surprise, I got a call form SCB around year 2010 (don’t remember the month) about settlement for outstanding against my Card .When I had told them there was no outstanding in this card they called up to meet me in their Andheri office . Upon meeting them I was told I was told by them that there was outstanding payment of approx Rs.900 on my card which now been accumulated to approx .Rs.3000 for which I need to do immediate payment or else my name will blacklisted in cibil records. I explained my case as below 1. I never knew any balance outstanding on my Card as outstanding payment was made only after confirm banks customer support office. 2. I had never received any mail/hard copy of Card Statement from Bank detailing any of outstanding . 3. Or had never been communicated by Bank about any balances to be paid or any due amount. The card settlement team did gave me proposal for settlement by paying approx. Rs.900 which I never agreed to – as it was not mistake but banks and I have been victim of banks irresponsible negligence . Also explained them that my payments records for on this Standard Chartered Bank Credit Card was always been good and was always an good customer of bank . But my request failed on deaf ears of Card team as they were hardly accepting mistake from bank . Recently when one of credit card was rejected due to my written off cibil score, I came to know about that written off outstanding with the card was close to Rs.26000 . When I again had called them a year back - the settlement team inform him about negotiating with them on settlement for the closure of cibil score, which I feel is an blackmailing for no fault of mine. Appreciate i[censored] can help/ guide me how do I get this dispute resolved and how do I file a case with Standard Chartered on getting my dispute resolved ?

            Complaint against credit card

            I'm using standard chartered Bank MANHATTAN Platinum credit card ending with **** **** **** 9315 since Nov-2013. As per my card policy if i spend more than 60000 per year, there will not be any Annual charges. I spend more than 60000 between nov-2013 and oct-2014. But in my November credit card statement issued on 4/10/14 they charged following charges.

            As the standard chartered bank master card details of which are given above was issued to me without my consent/knowledge and a bill of Rs.2499 was raised for which I regularly made telephone calls in your office inquiring that how this card was issued to me and i was assured by the banks office staff that they will not charge any amount in lieu of this card. However till date the bank failed to do so and the amount regularly appeared in my bills, for this I had written the letter to the manager customer care standard chartered bank 3rd floor express building, 9-10, Bahadur shah zafar marg delhi dated:-05/04/2004 (copy of which is attached) Now today ie.s 28/01/2015 i went again to narayan manzil barakhamba road office and have again requested/written the bank authorities a letter for doing so. This mistake of not getting the debt cleared is now reflecting on my CIBIL which tarnishes my image as i am unable to get loan/financial help. Kindly resolve my matter at the earliest and i would be highly obliged

              This is to bring to your kind notice that my earlier credit card No. [protected] was misused on 6th Jan 2015 with some overseas transactions. i came to know of the same through the instant SMS at the same time & immediately i have authorized the bank to cancel my aforementioned card. The total amount misused was RO.396.123 (Three hundred & ninety six & baisa one twenty three Omani Rials only). I immediately received a confirmation from customer care stating that the card has been blocked & the transactions were done at Walmart US (total of last 8 transactions). I was also informed that i will not be liable to pay the aforementioned amount as the card is blocked.The card was given back to SCB at Muscat, Oman on 6th morning. I was issued with a new credit card[protected]. i was surprised to receive the statement on 11th Jan asking me to pay the aforementioned amount. I have sent a mail to customer care on 11th Jan after receiving my new statement. But i have not received any response from the customer care dept. Request you to kindly take a note of this & revert at the earliest.

                Mail written to SC bank as below, which is self explanatory. Dear Sir, Further to chain of trailing mails, please note that as per RBI notice no. RBI/ 2011-12/63, DBOD.No.FSD.BC. 14 / 24.01.011/ 2011-12 clause no . 3(a), card issuers has to ensure that there is no delay in dispatching bills and the customer has sufficient number of days (at least one fortnight) for making payment before the interest starts getting charged. In order to obviate frequent complaints of delayed billing, the credit card issuing bank/NBFC may consider providing bills and statements of accounts online, with suitable security built therefor. Banks/ NBFCs could also consider putting in place a mechanism to ensure that the customer’s acknowledgement is obtained for receipt of the monthly statement. In addition to above, I would like to illustrate my case here again with specific details and sequence of events: 1. Only after follow-up and request, I received my statement of Jan’12 on 28/02/2012. 2. After receipt of the above statement net balance was Rs. 3055.55, of which I had paid (Rs. 3050.00) on 05.03.2012 3. Despite intimating that the statements are not being received by me timely, the subsequent statement of Feb’12 dated 26.02.2012 was also received late. The net balance was Rs. 4669.54, which included balance amount (Rs 3055/- of last bill) and progressive expenditure of Rs. 984.5 +Late/interest charges of Rs. 629.49/-. a. As explained above, my complaints of receipt of statements late in previous months has not been addressed by your organization, yet I was victimized and penalized by slapping a late fee + interest charges are charged. I was never in agreement that for flaws in your system, I should not be penalized. It is the responsibility of the Bank to rectify and reverse such an amount. b. On experiencing the poor service and highly un-coordinated customer care system I have specifically requested your bank to close the card and discontinue the services provided to me in the month of Feb/ March’12. c. Even though I was not convinced, and did not receive the statements, I took a step forward to settle the bill upto March’12 by making payment of Rs 1700/-(on 31.05.2012) to close the matter. This included the forcibly charged late fees and interest charges upto the month of March’12 d. To my dismay nobody is reviewing the case in its true merit and an individual is being victimized unnecessarily. e. No transactions has been made on the card since Feb’2012, as it can be seen, how disappointed I have been with the service and customer support. 4. Considering the issues with delay in bills/statement, no SMS alert, Self has request bank in Feb/March’2012 for closure of credit card, which is also confirmed by bank for closure, hence charges applied later on me are not my account. 5. Even after closure request bank is sending bills, such one is I have written to bank on 07.11.2012 that bills are still receiving late & again request to close the card, since same will not be entertained further. 6. Even on my repetitive requests for closure of card, bank is continuously levied charges on me, for which I am helpless. Such conduct from such conglomerate group is not expected, now even your assigned claim team has also agreed, but due to procedural constraint they are unable to reverse the amount. Mr. Jagdesh & Mr. Sarvana, instead of approaching to higher officials, they are compelling to settle the amount and frequently hinting that if I will not settle it will continue affecting CIBIL rating. I would like to understand when I am not at fault, then why should I pay to settle. Bank has to take corrective action for closure of this issue.

                  I asked the customer care to cancel my credit card and then they asked me to pay whatever is remaining balance and I paid that. After, I received a mail saying that the card will be cancelled with in next 10 days. I haven't checked the status after that. Now after 3 months when I verified, I was charged Rs.5000 and interest on top of that and the credit card is not yet cancelled. I have no clue with out making any transactions how can they even charge me. And the worst part is that the card is not yet cancelled and I am being billed for the interest as well. I am not getting any monthly statements of the credit card to my email. When I write to customer care no one even cares to respond back. My credit card number is [protected].                     Sir, 1. i had a credit card from standard chartered ending 7517, which expired on jul/13. before the card expired i have clearly written to standard chartered bank that i do not need renewal of your card. inspite of that they have sent a new card, which i have refused to receive. the card was not accepted by me, inspite of that they have deducted the annual fees and my remaining credit balance is still pending with bank. One year has passed and i have not got neither my Credit balance nor refund of annual fees for the card which i do not possess. 2. I further state that i have not used their card for even a single day (returned the courier as it is).                       2013 June charged annual fee 6741.00 including other charges. July 12128.59 and august 13303.90 paid RS.13304/- No any outstanding and card was closed but Sep and Oct another statements for annual fee and other charges 7474.63 and 8449.82 respectevly I contacted your office regularly and reported this duplication finally Nov statement your office accepted this mistake and reverse the annual charges but your people not cancel the interest and other charges, that amount is acumilated every month now it is more than Rs. 8000.00 Every month I received pending call from your office and I explain all this matters by phone and mail also, but no any action on this till today.                           (Mail sent to Bank) This is one of the worst experience of my life, wherein the credit card guys were continuously chasing to fill the form inspite of not interested with standard chartered past experience, but still gave a thought of filling the form, details below:- Information available for the form filled:- Standard Chartered credit card reference # [protected], Mewa lal collected the documents twice, filled the credit card application twice. Approval assurity given by Nitesh Kamble (Contact no shared – [protected]). We are continuously following up with Nitesh Kadam who is reluctant to give the status (Replying the documents have gone for verification and pending at manager level for approval), as our credit check is done, multiple time based on the documents submitted which is not at all excepted, which is spoiling the customer’s name & record as the database being checked multiple time and spoiling the image of the customer. This mail is not a request or communication, its and order, as this kind of service cannot be tolerated, making a fool, of the banks image in the minds of the customers. Do the necessary investigation & reply the status with immediate effect.

                            Dear Sir / Mam, I had made the payment for total outstanding of my credit card before due date for statement generated on November but late charges & interest applied on my Card on loan account for statement generated in Dec14. I have made the total outstanding payment in time to my credit card account but I was not aware of paying it separately to Loan on card account. So Late charges & Interest charged to me even after paying the total outstandingly. When I called to customer care & told them no one has informed me about this, they told it has already there in IVR.                               I was compelled to pay in cash of Rs.2468.00 &amp; Rs.612.00 against Credit card no. ************4112 & ************8377 respectively due to your continuous chasing till 20th August 2014, whereas I didn't purchased any articles of same value. Actually I had decided to pay the amount to get escaped from your fake critical trap. I had called to your customer care to close my accounts permanently after paying your demand amount on 24.08.2014. But from the reverse end you had an apology tune for recovering of excess amount and had an assurance to return back the entire amount to my account and earnest request to continue the accounts. I think it has a voice call record in your system and it may tell the truth. But every commitment or assurances are in vein and again you are chasing for yourself generated due payment. Hence my humble request to you to close my accounts permanently to avoid the future difficulties at the earliest.

                                Credit Card No – [protected] Name of the card holder – Rajinder Singh With very disappointment, I am writing this email to you. My Dining Card ( which is optional with Credit card ) was renewed without even informing me and then handed over to someone else. As per Term and condition standard chartered should communicate when they renew the old card in an email form or over Phone. I was not at all informed about it. And in the month of May 2013 I have changed the Job & current Address(which is not updated with Bank). Then how come the Dining card was handed over to some else. Who signed to receive the card or the courier people took it ! Please help me out . I didn't receive any email on the day the card was renewed. Directly received the global statement July-2013 with the charges of renewed dining card and that time I talked to Standard chartered bank executive and he ensured me that they will be waive of the charges. But after some time their executive officer sent a email to me. And I replied on that email Dated 28.04.2014. And after few month they sent me a separate email (dtd. 26.08.14) and I replied on that email on dated 01.09.2014 but I have not got any reply and I send a reminder email on dated 17.09.2014 and They said we will handle this issue & get back to you within 4 working days.its been 4 months, response is still awaited and in between without intimation They put my civil status in negative .So I am facing a lot of problems. Please help me out.

                                Dear Sir, My credit card no is : [protected]I have already mailed several times regarding the issue of pending payment of Rs.10, 718.35.I
                                mailed on 28 April 2014 against your mail regarding my outstanding
                                amount, then they instead of replying me for the previous mail, again
                                mailed for the same, then I replied for it again on 1 sept. 2014, but
                                every time same response was given " will get back to you within 4
                                working days ", and till date the issue is pending .My
                                dining card ( which is an optional card ) was renewed even without
                                informing me, I never told to renew my card ( acc. To terms &amp;
                                conditions you cant renew my dining card until &amp; unless I asked for
                                the same ) &amp; send the card to my address but the card was returned
                                to them as till that time my address was changed( as I changed my job) .
                                Then standard chartered bank informed me that your card is returned,
                                that moment I came to know that my card was renewed &amp; when I asked,
                                your executives told that the amount charged for renewing will be
                                waived off to me . this conversation was of July 2013 and now instead of
                                waiving my money back to me you people are charging from me, and that
                                too an amount of rs.10, 718.35 .I have not purchased anything using this credit card, so it is not possible that any amount will be due on my side . I got your last mail on 23rd Dec. 2014 &amp; I was not able to reply form last week as I met with an accident few days back .Kindly
                                go through the history of my mails once .Its been more than around 8
                                months ( where I have already mentioned all the details), no solution
                                is provided . And your executives are still giving those lame excuses.If
                                any of my mails or messages you have showing that I told to renew my
                                dining card then I am ready to pay my dues ( as neither I asked to
                                renew the card nor I was intimated from standard chartered bank for the
                                same ), otherwise I will have to take a serious action against all the

                                    I got a message from a service delivery boy on 15th Oct 2014 for collecting my credit card but i was not able to collect it that time after that i called him but he said the card is not with him so i want to know where the card is right now.Is it with bank or courier company which delivers it.
