I am holding a credit card of Standard chartered bank no. [protected] I received statement of last month having a big interest amount on it. I used the card for a hospital bill and made the payment too before the last working day. I tried paying the same initially online but it was showing error while paying due to which I could not able to make the payment and paid the whole amount by cash. Unfortunately only Rs. 1000/- was left paying out of 60000. I am surprised to see that there are such high interest charged on that 1000/- and after checking the reply was that the interest will be charged on whole amount. I am really surprised by the kind of policy these guys have. They have charged interest on the amount which I have already paid to them before time. They encourage the customers to use their credit card and when customer are using and paying on time then too just for 1000/- bugs they are penalizing the customer with such a heavy charge. The same was not expected from such a reputed bank. I would like to request you to help me get these unnecessary interest removed. Looking forward for your support.

I have submitted my request on the mentioned link the reference no is #CTQT7PN7ZP. Awaiting for a positive revert from your end on urgent basis as the due date is very near and incase of non-payment you guys will again charge interest on the whole amount. Which will again result in a bad experience.

    my credit card due date is 05/09/2014. i paid my entire amount on 30/08/2014 i.e i paid in advance before the due date, but the bank has charged me Rs. 112.24 as late payment fee. the customer care says i have to pay the late payment charges because their system says like that. Standard Chartered bank is cheating. Guys who ever have this card just close this. bcoz they are cheaters.

      I, Ranjit J Kadam, a Senior Citizen, resident of Mumbai, hold a Standard Chartered Credit Card (Card No: XXXX XXXX XXXX 2072) . I received the Card Statement on 10th Sept 2014 with 16 fraudulent transactions total amounting to Rs.188, 829.50. All these transactions were carried on a single day i.e. 22nd August 2014. I immediately contacted the customer care and filed a dispute towards all the 16 transactions mentioned in the statement. Further I was charged with an overlimit fee for these transactions. On the very same day I blocked the card and as per the request of Customer Care Executive filed a Dispute Declaration Form (DDF) for all the transactions. A scanned copy was also mailed to them on 12th September. I declared that the card is still in my possession. I was informed by the bank that the Card was cloned and has been swiped for all the transactions. I also requested for the "Merchant Copy" of the slips for all the transactions in order to cross verify the signatures. The Bank has replied that it would require minimum 45-50 days for investigation and would also contact me during this period. However I still havent received any call or mails for the same. They have asked me to contact after 18th October to know the status of the investigation. I am yet to receive any further communication from the bank. Meanwhile I have also filed a Police Complaint to the nearest police station and a copy of the FIR has been submitted at the Cyber Crime Cell, Bandra, Mumbai. I would appreciate if you would help me out in expediting this process so that I am relieved of this predicament. I have been a good customer to the bank for many years and have never defaulted on my payments. I hereby declare that none of the billed transactions are authorized by me and I wouldnt want to bear any financial losses for the same. Sincerely, Ranjit J Kadam, Mumbai

      In continuation to the above, Standard Charted has again upset me with their terrible service and non cooperation. In the latest statement that was received by me, I have been charged for late payment for non payment of disputed amount. The bank has still not provided me the merchant copy of the transaction receipts which I had requested through mail to card.[protected]@sc.com on September 12th. In this entire period the bank did not bother to get in touch with me. In a reply mail from the bank, they asked for a time till 11th October in order to investigate the matter. However even after the promised date no contact was made.

      The E-ticket query is also not updated. Wonder why the investigation team is not accessible. How am I supposed to believe that there is an actual investigation team that is working on this case?

      I am disappointed with the service. I assure you that once this investigation is complete and the matter is resolved, I am definitely cancelling my Card.

      As a Senior Citizen, this whole issue has been affecting my health and no one in Standard Chartered is bothered to even communicate.
      I am going to write to RBI regarding the treatment this bank is giving to its customer who has been never been delinquent in payment, who has been a customer for almost 20 years. I am definitely not recommending your bank for any sort of financial association to any of my friends, relatives and colleagues.

          Dear Sir, I, Mr. T. C. Koshy a beholder of the standard chartered GOLD Credit card has been experiencing some fraudulent transactions through my credit card lately. The transactions have been made for international payments. As a result i have instructed the customer care to block my card with immediate effect. But this is ironical to the security promises assured from the standard chartered authorities. It is noticed that fraudulent transactions for USD161.90 has been made. As per the RBI act dated 27.09.2011 there is a need to secure card-based transactions to protect the interest of card holders. Hence, the unauthorized transactions made through my credit card No. XXXX3799 should be reversed within 48 hours, failing which they are liable to pay me an interest of 100 Rs. per day from the next date on wards, i will also be compelled to proceed further in the matter to recover my loses. I have already lodged a complaint vide ref. no.[protected] with Mr. Sayyed of Standard Chartered Bank. In-case the reverse entries for the fraudulent transactions made through my credit card will not be effected within 48 hours i'll be also compelled to cancel my credit card with your organization to safeguard my interests and properties.             Hi Team I am really very upset with Standard Chartered Credit card services.I had purchased around of Rs 12000 and regular in payment.bcos of one delay payment they decreased my credit limit and started adding limit over charges.now its 24000 Rs which i can not pay.I am using some other cards and they never charged any kind of interests.             Issue is still not resolved.I am directly being asked to deposit Rs 17500 without explaining why?I am asked to pay that much amount no reason whether it is fair amount comparing to Purchase.My Purchase amount is between[protected] and I m ready to pay up to 14000.But still no body is listening.

              I am Sai Prasad Devineni, ( Credit Card No. [protected]) I have been recieving phone calls ( More than hundred calls in two hrs) from Mr. Manoj from various phone no.s like [protected], [protected], [protected] etc to my personal no. [protected] and office no. [protected]. Inspite of our commitment to remit payment on 30th Sept, he has been calling again and again. He also started abusing with un parliamentary language.                   I want to raise this alarming complaint against Standard Chartered Bank credit card as they initially provide the card with false promises and now I a getting the message for paying 1660 INR for no reason. I am not aware of this charge and if they claim as the yearly maintenance fee then this is too much high. There is no where in T&C document that says about these charges. I dint even shopped for a single penny. This is disgusting and shameful act by a reputed bank and I want them to alarm if they don't settle it and take back the false charges, I will head up to the court and file a case.

                        Hi, I am narendra standard Chartered people given 16000 loan amount without intreset 3 months. the draft amount i cant taken. 5 times i am raise the request they are saying we are devlevered the draft. the amount is taken srikanth. i dont srikanth. please track the DD. every month they are generated bill with intrest i have paid extra amount. please revert back my amount. and finilize the issue ASAP.

                          A transaction for an amount of Rs 380/- was wrongly deducted from my account by a merchant in Gurgaon which was later cancelled through a void transaction slip. When asked for the refund of the same from the bank i.e Standard chartered bank, the bank officials refused to carry out the same on the basis of baseless grounds and in-turn alegated of false and malicious intentions, implying that it is a practice to benefit by way of wrongful gain, by the Customer. Having logged a complaint with the bank @ customer.[protected]@sc.com on the 4th of September for the same reason, i have not received any clarification for the same. Hereby attached is the proof of the transaction slip carried out by the merchant in Gurgaon.

                                I have cleared my housing loan from standard chartered bank ac no 42671779 and on final payment they are demanding payment for credit card, they have not issued any credit card to me so how can they demand payment for credit card that i have not used.

                                My original property documents are with them and they are not giving to me even after ful payment is done.

                                  I am being sent unnecessary emails of payment statement for annual charges on a card that I have never used . I called the customer service and found that my card is already deactivated. Then why am I being asked for this unnecessary money ? The amount keeps increasing month on month. The customer service is very impatient and not ready to listen to any concern. Very harsh behaviour and irresponsible attitude from the customer service agents. I asked the customer service agent why I am not being contacted by the bank even for a reminder when I did not pay the first bill. They say that they don't have such a practice. My question is, "will the bank keep quiet and keep sending me payment statements to me even if I don't pay for the entire life ?" The answer to this by the customer service agent is, "after a while the bank's collection department will contact me". What is "after a while" ? Is it after the amount grows huge ? So that they can grab my money? I need an answer to this unethical practice.

                                    My brother has transferred $403.88 (24000 INR) from Bank of America to my Standard chartered Bank Debit Card through ICICI 's money to India service.The amount has not yet been credited to my SCB account.Its been almost 3 months from the date the amount has been transferred.I have given all the proofs to SCB.But still they are asking for something or other and they say they are not able to to track the transfer. It would be great if someone from this forum could help on this.

                                      I asked for Consolidated Credit Card Statement card ending with XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-5512 for last 2 years in excel format. They sent me 33 separate emails duplicate statement for each month. The issue was opening 33 pdf's and putting password and then you cannot copy the data. I thought i can open 33 files and try to consolidate but fun starts when i tried opening first and could copy the data because it is highly encrypted . I would like to tell them this is a financial data of mine and i have full rights to ask for consolidated .
                                      Standard Chartered Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                        Dear Sir / Madam, I am here to invite your kind attention that I (Rakesh Ilasariya) want to say that I have one credit card of your company and my cr. card no. is [protected]. This credit card was issued to me against older cr. card and the last four digits are 2139. All the amount used in this card was beared by me and I will pay the amount spend. But, I also want to say that there are another 3 cards issued in my name details are as under: Platinum Rewards - Primary [protected] 0.00 INR 561.80 DR View Platinum Rewards - Primary [protected] 54, 000.00 INR 3, 818.97 DR View SCB TITANIUM CARD - (P) [protected] 54, 000.00 INR 0.00 DR View Above mentioned all the 3 cards are not requested by me and I don't know regarding issuance of this cards. I have talk to your customer care executive 2 times, but there is no solution given to me regarding this matter. I, therefore, not paying a single penny for this figure spent on this 3 cards and also not bearing any chargers on this cards. I am requesting you to please cancel this 3 cards as soon as possible and waive off the charges. And I am also forward the copy of this mail to consumer forum. Please resolve my the matter as soon as possible and reply me on early basis.
