Hi,

I got an A/C payee check of amount Rs. 2500.00 from Syndicate bank, CET campus, Bhubaneswar and dropped the check at State bank of India, Rajarajeshwari Nagar, bangalore on 16 jan 2009 as I have an A/c in that branch.

But till now it has not been encashed to my account. while depositing the branch, bank authorities told me that it will take 3 weeks for processing as it is out of state. But till now it is not encashed. Still I am waiting for the check to be encashed.Below are the details:

      Dear Sir / Madam,

      I am one of SBI credit card user, 2 days back ur collections guys come to us and they threatend me they told me the NBW ( Non bailable Warrant) has been issued against me but i never recieve any summon and notice from ur side, executive o[censored]r bank always used to come and pick the payment sometimes they have not issue me reciept this is very shameful that your senior employees whos name is Mr. Kapil ([protected]) and Mr. Naveen ( [protected] ) came to my home and told us the NBW has been issued against me without any summon and notice after listening these word i got disturb and they brought me to Krishna nagar police station then i paid Rs 10000/- to escape myself even this time they have not mention my card number on the receipt

      my actual usage is Rs 50000/- and til now i have deposited more that my usage still they demandind Rs 60000/- as settelement amout kindly look on matter take appropriate action otherwise i move for consumer court.details of card is given below;-

        I would like to bring in you kind notice that different branch of SBI in Chennai has decline to open a saving account for my brother by stating that it is mandatory to take Accident policy of Rs 1 Lakh if he want to open a simple saving account with SBI.

        It looks very strange to me that I need to purchase a product from a national bank in order to open a saving account. This is not the case with any branch in Pune

        I am anyway going to open my saving account with other banks that are more then willing to offer better service without any cost and at the same time going to take this issue with RBI and Consumer forum for refusal of service by a bank, which is bound to provide it unconditionally.

        I thought to seek help from Customer Care department of SBI and bring it in their notice about this mis practice at Shastri Nagar and Santhome branch before going ahead with a legal step.

        Please explain me – Why SBI (Shastri Nagar and Santhome branch) has asked to buy Insurance policy with annual premium of Rs 1000 whereas this is not the case with SBI Pune and may be other states of India and if it is a mal practice at above mentioned branch then please take action and let me know the status of my complaint.

        I will be waiting for 1 more week to seek some action on my complaint from your side. If I didn’t receive any favorable response from SBI, I will take up this matter with Banking Ombudsman and Consumer Forum to launch a formal complaint against these branches.

        I have an NRO account with State Bank Of India university campus branch.I had opened this account through State Bank of India Toronto office.Last month I added my daughter to this account.I paid $10 for the courier.The documents were sent to Ahmedabad on July 10th.When inquiring at the university campus area branch no one cares to give the information that the papers were received.The courier has also given the receipt that papers were delivered to this branch.Please look into this matter and reply ASAP.

        Irregularities in 6th CPC Arrear — Refusal of Account Opening

        SBI Jama Masjid Branch has refused to open new account reasoning that the applicant is not of Jama Masjid area rather he is the the resident of Delhi-2 old Darya Ganj. Is there any rule regarding area distribution like that of Police Stations. Please reply

          I paid my SBI card due via cheque dated 13/08/2008 and on 20/08/2008 the cheque was cleared from my Savings account. Till 02/01/2009 SBI card has not received the Cheque. I submitted them the proof of payment in form of PHOTOCOPY of CHEQUE (obtained from Bank at my expense of Rs100/-), duly signed by appropriate authority of Bank, the BANK CERTIFICATE, duly signed by BRANCH MANAGER and PHOTOCOPY OF PASSBOOK, duly signed by appropriate authority of Bank.
          The above mentioned doccuments I submitted for THREE times in the month of OCTOBER 2008, NOVEMBER 2008 and DECEMBER 2008. In the Month of OCTOBER SBI CARD Blocked my Credit card.
          0On 21/12/2009 the person who is sitting at the post of AVP CSTOMER SERVICE send me mail to submit the Bank Certificate and Bank Statement. I don't know who has read the mail from me and who is replying. This indicates that AVP CSTOMER SERVICE is anI iliterate person.
          In the month of DECEMBER I filed a case against SBI Card.
          Suddenly and surprisingly I received one mail from AVP Customer Service that SBI Card has received the payment on 02/01/2009 and there is no dues from my side. SBI Card informed that my card will be inactive for use.

          The JANUARY 09 statement revel that the Total outstanding: Rs 2987/- (Card is active as per statement)The FEBRUARY 09 statement revel that the Total outstanding: Rs 675.57/- (Card is active as per statement)
          The MARCH 09 statement revel that the Total outstanding: Rs 806.80/- (Card is Blocked as per statement)

          Now, I am waiting JUSTICE from CONSUMER COURT.

              I want to drag attention to the SBI Laxminagar branch. I wanted to get my, my wife's and my brother's saving account with the branch, but everytime the employees / and the branch manager refuses to open my account on ground of my residential address proof. They do not accept the following proof as a proof of residence:

              1. Voter Id card
              2. Income tax return acknowledgement
              3. LIC bonds
              4. Driving liscence
              5. Proof of Residential address provided by my employer HCL Technologies Ltd.
              6. Telephone bills (Airtel postpaid connection)
              7. ICICI Bank statement

              They provide the following reason:

              1. Voter Id card can be considered only as proof of identity not as proof of residence
              2. Income tax return is not a valid residence proof
              3. LIC bonds are not considered in bank account
              4. Driving Liscence could be made fraudulantly
              5. HCL Technologies is not a reputed employer so they don't consider private companies
              6. They will not consider private telephone operators bills. Only MTNL could be considered
              7. ICICI bank is not a nationalized bank so they wont consider.

              As per the SBI website, most of the above mentioned documents are valid residence proof.
              The bank staff and the branch manager even refuses to give their denial to the documents mentioned in written. They use harsh words and deny to give even complain book!. Please suggest me whom to contact or complain so that I could enjoy my right to open an account!

              I agree, today I also tried opening account in SBI. I HCL letter provided address proof but they refused to accept it.
              Online form says that reputed employer letter is accepted but they say that their system will not accept it.

                Dear Sir,
                I have an account in State Bank Of India branch (02578) MM Engg College Gorakhpur. The Account No. is [protected]. I am residing temporarily in NOIDA now days. On[protected] when i was trying to withdraw the amount of Rs. 900/- from the ATM at Noida sector - 2, but i have got only Rs. 400/- and Rs. 900/- has been deducted from my account. After that I had to withdrawn Rs. 500/- again. Finally Rs. 500/- Extra has been deducted from my account. So I have complained at customer care no. [protected]. They suggest me to wait for 2 days. After completion of 2 days, the amount has not been credited back, so I again made a call. Now they told me to contact my home branch. The officer of my home branch said me to send an application through FAX. On[protected] I sent a FAX of application and receipts on given number. After that I was in touch for a long time with my home branch. Finally they told me that they have forwarded the request to NOIDA, Sector-2 Branch for further process and they also suggest me to visit at Sector 2 Branch at NOIDA.
                Now in NOIDA Sec - 2 Branch, Nobody is listening my query and the related officer is not accepting my Application too. The Manager of my home branch is saying that he is not the controller of sector 2 branch and he has done his work, If necessary he will forward the request again.

                Mean while I have submitted a complain at SBI Online Complaint Board. The Complained ID is (CC[protected]
                Four months has been passed already and my query has not been solved yet.

                Kindly take the necessary action at the earliest and oblige.

                Sub: Wrong balance showing in my savings account

                On 2 April, 2009, I had balance of Rs.10, 015 till 11.54 AM. Afternoon, I had tried to withdraw a sum of Rs. 4, 000 from ATM of ICICI Bank, Okhla branch, New Delhi. But I couldn’t get the money.

                Around 10 PM I tried to know the balance from ATM of SBI (Bradarpur branch, New Delhi 110 044). Then ATM advice shown balance of Rs. 6, 015. There is mistake of Rs. 4, 000.

                Due to some urgent need of money I had withdrawn a sum of Rs. 1, 000. After withdrawal of money by balance was Rs. 5, 015 whereas it should be 9, 015.

                Please rectify the same and Rs. 4, 000 should be credited to my saving account immediately.

                Dear Sir,
                I have an account in State Bank Of India branch triplicane chennai. The Account No. is [protected]. I am residing temporarily in chennai now days. when i was trying to withdraw the amount from the ATM at triplicane but i came to know that sbi has been deducted RS.10000 from my account. So I have complained at customer care also. They suggest me to wait for 2 days. After completion of 2 days, the amount has not been credited back, so I again made a call.                 Mean while I have submitted a complain at SBI Online Complaint Board.
                two weeks has been passed already and my query has not been solved yet.

                  Subject: Complaint regarding working of bank.

                  I have a saving account in SBI Naraingarh branch in which I am getting the pension of my husband from Govt. of India since 7 years. But from last 3 months I am not in getting of any pension. When I talk to the Naraingarh branch manager then he tell then you just write an application and give us we will forward this to our controlling branch. But now held more then two months but I am not getting my pension, when ask to bank that what is the reason behind this then they say that we don’t know that what is the reason behind this.

                      I was given a offer by SBI card that if i do a
                      shopping of Rs 15000 and above than i will be given Dine and Cinema
                      voucher worth Rs 1500. I did got the coupen and it was mentioned that i
                      need to call [protected] to do booking. I have called this number end
                      number of time for booking every time they inform that they will call back
                      and inform the booking status but i never received a call back from them.
                      I have also complaint abt this with SBI card and no action was taken. Now
                      31st March is the last day to avail this offer which i was not able to do.
                      I want SBI card to compensate for this. If they are giving any offer than
                      they should be responsible for it. Voucher Number that was given is 007569
                      Consequences : This is mental harrasment by SBI card. I have been a good
                      customer and is using this card since 2.5 yrs and till date i have always
                      made payment on time and this type of service is given by SBI Card. This
                      is inform the SBI higher official that if i dont get any compensation for
                      this harrasement than i will discontinue the card.

                      SBI Credit Cards — Compensation Required

                      Dear Sir/Mam,
                      I had a credit card of SBI Bank & i was also pay the due amount on time. In Sept. - oct. 2009 one offer given me of Rs. 50000/- loan from bank & the same was accepted by me. In the month of nov. 09 I was dropped the cheque of monthly payment of Rs. 14086/- and the same was cleared from my account on 2nd Dec. 2009 but the same payment was not updated in my SBI Credit Card A/c No. [protected] till 23 March 2009. They called me everyday on my mobile & landline no. I was daily follow-up with the customer care & also send my bank a/c scan copy which was reflect the entry of 14086/-. And also request them for stop the calling me on daily basis & I was also paid the next month due of Rs. 6100/- without Late Fee, (Bill amount is 21098.8 including late fee & last month due payment of Rs. 14085.34/- which was paid by me). After that they not stopped the phone calls on daily basis, I was stopped the all next payment. Now they call me from various no. of call center & some time they call me through SHO Delhi & told me your arrest warrant issued so plz call SBI Advocate and given me mob. no of advocate. When I was called to advocate they told me plz contact to collexn manager of SBI Card. When I confirm for the same from call center they told me no one case submit against you.

                      Now I want to compensation from SBI Card & restart the credit cards with the all rewards points.

                        Dear Sir,

                        Sub: Applying for the correction in my account statement and asking for the deposit of my amount missed through ATM account Chennai- regarding.
                        Ref : Transaction enquiry sheet affixed herewith.
                        Sir, I am an account holder in your branch ( No. [protected]). On 16th July 2007 I went to Chennai Nandambakkam SBI ATM counter to draw money.

                        First I ensured the balance and entered for withdrawal of Rs 14800. I Got no money, But I got a receipt of 14800 withdrawal and immediately received another slip showing sorry unable to process.

                        On that day at a time my account showed debited for Rs14800, credited for Rs 14800 and then debited for 14800. But I could not got my money and so I approached the manager there. I also made an complaint on 16/07/2997 and I complained to you on 18/07/2007/. After verifying all the details you have credited Rs.14600 on 02/08/2007 after 17 days of my complaint.

                        Now I found that Rs14800 has been debited in my account under loam amount. Sir after completion pf one year and eight months you have debited that amount in my account. Sir please think logically. If I got the money then there was no need to complain on that day. I complained only due to non-availability of money.

                        Sir, please go through the Journal no[protected] of transaction enquiry sheet showing debited and credited immediately. At first the amount was debited in my account t and immediately the same was credited.. Then the same amount found debited, but I received no money.                         Dear sir/Madam
                        With due respect, I Nagendra Pratap Singh savings a/c No. [protected] of SBI New Palin, would like to withdraw your attention towards withdrawal of Rs.20000/- from my a/c on 04/01/2010 without my knowledge through my ATM card No.[protected]. On the same day on 04/01/2010 at 05:33 am at ASTC Bus Stand ATM booth( ATM ID No. S1CN00007841, TXN No. 3650) I made a balance enquiry. I made an another mini a/c enquiry from same ATM (TXN No.3652). I did not made any withdrawal that day. When I gave my passbook for update it showed that Rs. 20000/- withdrawn from my a/c. I made a complaint about it to bank they showed their inability to recover this unauthorised withdrawal.
                        So I request you to see the matter and please recover my Rs.20000/- and oblige.

                          I have cleared the entire outstanding amount during the month of 22nd of January 2008, as per the instructions of SBI Cards and I requested to send the reply regarding the closure of outstanding. But I received one Inland letter (dt.01/03/2008), mentioning that an amount of Rs.14, 856.63/- as total outstanding. Again I received monthly statement (dt.01/05/2008) through e-mail mentioning that an amount of Rs.53, 171.23/- as total outstanding. Once again I received one more Inland letter card (dt.01/06/2008) asking an amount of Rs.19, 751.78/- as total outstanding. I sent so many letters to customer care centre regarding this with all relevant details. But No reply I received. More over, during the month of November two collection executives have come to my residence during my absence and asking to pay the outstanding immediately. Regarding this, I went Customer care centre at Chennai and gave one copy of letter with all details. Once again during the month of Feb 2009, one man from SBI Cards had come to my residence and harrassed my family members regarding the payment dues. Again I received one registered letter (dt.04/03/2009) from Mr.K.Jayamugunthan B.A.B.L. advocate for conciliation.They mentioned that a total outstanding as on 28/02/2009 is due and payable. I met him on 14/03/2009 at his office and explain the above details. He accepted the evedences and instructed me to contact customer care centre. Since, there was no response from customer care centre, I am unable to solve the problem till date.

                            Sir, My account is joint account, I and MY wife are having ATM card.MY ATM card is lost one year before and I purchased new card paying charges but last year and this year rental charges are debited for three cards including my lost card.when i enquired in bank why rental is taken for my lost card they told in branch they cannot do anything i have to make a complaint then only it will be returned and further no deductions will be made.Hence please remit the amount deducted extra from my account and further dedut only for two cards.
                            Further for On line transaction I have taken Username and Password four times from the bank but I cannot able to get connected, bank people cannot able to resolve the problem and I have made several comlaints till no action please resolve the problem.

                              I Surendra Choudhary have a joint account with my wife Mrs. Yashoda Choudhary in the SBI, sector -2 Noida branch of Yours.My saving a/c no. is[protected].Two unknown cheques were deposited in my saving account with chq nos 63003(amtRs50, 000/-) and 63004(amt Rs 50, 000/-) in february 2009. I complained verbally to the manager about this but there wasnt any action taken by them. In addition to this, I wrote a letter mentioning the ssame thing, i.e to return the cheques ASAP.And now, again I have received cheque nos 63005 and 63006, amounting Rs. 50, 000/- each from same sender, in march. Again I complained about this to the manager through a letter and requested to return this amount to the sender. As there is no action taken so far, so would like you to credit this amount into the sender's account as i dont have any concern regarding this sender and amount.kindly debit the above mentioned ceque amounts from my SBI account.

                                Sir, On receipt of SBI ATM card No.[protected] against my SB account No.[protected] and the PIN from local SBI branch recently, as directed, I tried to change the PIN first. This was not successful. Now it appears that neither the original PIN nor the changed PIN has been working. At this stage a fresh PIN is felt necessary. Request kindly arrange fresh PIN early. A line in confirmation will be highly appreciated.

                                      Due to my persistent serious ailments, being a senior citizen, I could not pay my SBI card dues from the last 3 months in time.
                                      Today when a collection agent came . I proposed a final settlement . then one Ms.Anjali SBI called me from Ph #[protected] and used harsh, foul language. Being a heart patient i am afraid such threatening calls may aggrevate my sickness . I request SBI to advise that lady to be more polite with elderly people . Having served in STATE BANK for 33 years I retired and expect more civilized approach from the bank.

                                      I can no longer put up with such threatening calls. which may endanger my health.

                                      SBI Card — Harrasment to a senior citizen : Sbi Card

                                      Dear sir,

                                      Please note that my father ( Harendra Kumar Majumder) is a 67 years old retired person. He used to hold a SBI card that he surrendered in June 2006. After that he never used any card and no card was ever recieved by him.
                                      But for past 6 months he is getting statement of a card # [protected] which claims that some amount is due and it is increasing every month with late payment charge and interest. ( Interestingly the whole outstanding is by late payment and charges) . No real transaction has ever happened as the card was never recieved.

                                      How SBI card can do this to a senior citizen? He is getting statement every month when he never hold the card and the outstanding is increasing every month.

                                      He has called several times to the customer care each time it was told that it will be cancelled but again next month the bill comes.

                                      Please advise what shoould we do here? My father is old and he is getting unnecessarily tensed and this is affecting his health.

                                      I have already make a compliant on 15/10/2009 through my email to ge.sbi.com, regarding payment of Rs.5001.00 vide cheque No.142923 dated 03/010/2009 drawn at Bank of India, HEL Area Branch Bhopal and the cheque was drapped at SBI drap box at SBI HET Branch, Piplani, Bhopal. on the same day.But it was surprised to note that Rs.500.00 only debited on my account against my cheque No.142923. for Rs.5001.00 I was informed on 15/10/2009 by mob. to find out the mistake. where it was stand . I had been to the BOI branch and found that my cheque was Rs.5001.00 only in words as well in figer. And it was accepted by the BOI Officeial also. And assured me that mistake will be rectifed soon. To-day again I have been to BOI for verifying the mistake whether it was rectified or not. They said the matter has aleady been forwared to Head Office, Mumbai and they do the correction at once.after getting information from HO. Meanwhile if I asked for any late payment chardges from SBI Card office, they replied that it will be paid by BOI. However BOI said, the list which was perpared by SBI was Rs.500.00 only instead of Rs.5001.00.. Mistake is done by SBI as well BOI for which I should not be penalised. Please verify from BOI Mrs.Telang, Asstt.Manager[protected] .. Hope for the best respone from your end soon and please send the corrected statement on or before due date . These mistakes happened at both the Bank Auothries.. Once again request you to please be rectified the mistake done by your own people . Please do not impose the penality to the poor pepole's head .
