I had been using Tata Docomo postpay connection since last year. I was registered on Rs899/-p.m unlimited postpay plan in which you can make unlimited calls. Suddenly on 25th Jan'13 my Tata Docomo Number -[protected] was deactivated without intimating me. Upon contacting the Tata Docomo hub, it came to my knowledge that my account was suspended due to high usage. Since there was a marriage ceremony at my home, so it was obvious i had high usage and the same was intimated by me to the Company after my number was deactivated, even a written declaration was given on my behalf to the Company. On 1st Feb I met Mr. Sanjay Sengupta (Tata Docomo Hub, Salt Lake, Sector V, Kolkata) and he assured me that my connection would be restored by 6:00 P.M. Its been 5 days, but still my number has not been activated and since then Mr. Sanjay Sengupta is not answering my calls. I feel aggrieved and is suffering a loss, since my number has been deactivated. Even the company is not allowing me to Port my number.

Tata Docomo — TATA DOCOMO DEACTIVATE PREPAID CONNECTION WITHOUT INTIMATION

Hi

Telecom firms have become highhanded and least concerned about customer needs because they enjoy huge base and not bothered about few hundred disgruntled customers.

I had a Tata docomo postpaid connection [protected] which I converted to Prepaid in Feb 2011. At that time I had to run around because the 'exclusive; Tata Coco outlets did not know how to do it. Finally after several escalations, it was done by backend team.

In April 2011, my prepaid connection was disconnected for no reason. On calling the call centre they told me that I have not submitted any documents.Before disconnecting no one intimated me or called me to submit documents. They had no answer to that. When I suggested that I can submit the documents now, they said the number is permanently deleted and cannot be reissued.

I want my mobile number to get activated. Pl forward to concerned authorities.

These all are bull people
If you are using your postpaid connection even though having unlimited plans they will make some bull excuse and block your connection. But lemme tell you Yuvraj i have prepaid connection as well and i had balance more than 100 rupees but since i have post paid connection i have not made any outgoing call then those buggers simply activated some services and deducted all the balance. Here where is the policy? That proves how they are doing business. Here we can say cheap company, cheap service, cheap support and finally cheap people. I am trying to get different company connection and advising you too get different connection. Do not go for Tata Docomo and others also ask do not take tata docomo connection. Already i informed most of my known one and they are saved from Cheap Tata Docomo bull connection. Again saying you tata docomo you guys are BULL guys. Instead of doing all those thing come to road and beg us will give you more than your expectation so that you can feed your family.

    This is regarding bill payment of account no[protected] .
    First is the policy of closure of the account from logging the call. It is 10 days period which is unfair. We should pay only usage charges and not the delay in closure of account.
    Second
    At the last month of clsoing this account the local representative assured us that he will get out account closed and we need not bother.
    After calling him in subsequent weeks he stopped picking our calls itself. Then we contacted the customer care to close our account and now we are getting calls from customer care and legal department of TATA DOCOMO to pay our bill amount to avoid legal action.

    This complaint is to make people aware of the wrong policies of closure and the unhelpful and non cooperative nature of the representatives.
    We had paid the usage charges and now getting calls to pay for the period till our account was closed.

      Please don't switch to Tata Docomo. Offers might be good but customer service is worst. Customer care executives or agents are worse than anyone.
      They don't know how to resolve the queries of customers. I'm using service for the past few years but I have decided to change the service provider.

        I received the message from the company regarding internet plan of Rs 95 with 2.5 GB free Internet for 30 days but when I sent message as directed in message company done cheating and activated wrong plan of Rs 24. With 60 MB free data for one day and now I have requested them to either give benefit as mentioned in message or give rund of 24 and stop internet. But till date no proper revert msg is received.         Tata Docomo — unwanted activation of plans

        Dear sir,
        since the past 1 year i am a the owner of a docomo simcard ([protected]) BUT after 6 months random plans like cricket plans music plans etc are being activated on my cell without my consent even after repeated complaints there has been no action against it. Even after losing almost 250 rupees to this horrendous schemes i am fed up of this daylight robbery.

        in my no. docomo has activated a games club offer without informing me. . . And charged me Rs5/day . . Also not deactivating it inspite of repeated remainder. .
        intenational music is activated in my mobile and unwantedly cutting the money daliy...and so they are not connecting to d help line for any information

            Tata docomo activated 39 rupee 3g pack without my knowledge on my number [protected]. I use my precious talktime for voice calls only. And I dont have a 3G handset. So it is useless for me. So Docomo please deactivate the same and refund to my balance.

                I have recharged with RS 20 and my balance was reduced to Re 1, again i recharged with 10 and again it was reduced to 1. On 20 jan i have recharged with 250 3g and now on 210 2g 8gb plan but can not connect to internet with TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET, I need to connect with that hvc setting.

                    I am having tata docomo postpaid service. Few days back some sales person called up and ask me to convert my prepaid to postpaid by giving me some good special plan. So I gave a positive response and activated postpaid service. But after activation I came to know that the scheme plan was totally different from the plan which they had shown me. Now after activation no response is given from the tata customer care and that sales person team. They are acting like careless people and shifting each others responsibility to someone else.
                    Kindly look into the matter and solve my problem as soon as possible.

I got a sms yesterday that Please pay Rs 1729.19 immediately for continued services, as my credit limit is 2150. i was just SHELL SHOCKED, like again my bill cycle did not start. I want to know why TATA – DOCOMO is charging this much of amount while it's an unlimited std plan. Can you please check your billing process there is some problem and correct my billed or unbilled amount.

                          I am a regular customer of Tata Docomo since 5 years. In july i took a connection of tata Docomo 3g Dongle. the dongle MDM number is: [protected]
                          I submitted a request of converting my Postpaid number to Pre-paid due to some financial problems. I submitted the request on 29th of December with all the documents that i was asked for in INDIRA NAGAR 1st STAGE Store. I was confirmed that it will be done in 3 working days. Since then i have not even used my Dongle.
                          Now suddenly, i got a call on 9th Feb that your bill is generated and that request is still in Open mode. In between i got no calls or email regarding any of these issues. I have my number and email ID registered with Tata Services. Now i can not afford to pay the bill and of course of the services that i have not used. I know, loosing one customer will not make any difference to the big company like TATA but they can not take customer on a ride.

                          Tata Docomo — 3G fraud

                          Tata Docomo are clearly misguiding & cheating in name of providing 3G services. Here is my experience:

                          After buying a 3G enabled handset (Samsung Galaxy 3) few months back, I bought a Tata Docomo pre-paid SIM (which I was assured was 3G enabled) for trying out their 3G services. Initially 3G was not launched in my city (Pune), so I used the GPRS pack & was happy with the performance. Few days after 3G was launched in Pune, I bought a 3G recharge voucher worth 500MB. To my surprise, I was unable to get speeds beyond 128kbps. Just to be sure, I checked the speed (using the Speed Test app. on Android) in various locations around the city at different times, but the download speed never went above 128kbps.

                          I then called customer support many times, but they were totally ignorant & hopeless..unable to even understand the problem. I tried their online chat support & registered complaint there..shockingly, the complaint was closed without giving any reason or even informing me! After that I emailed their support (listen.[protected]@tatadocomo.com) & explained the problem clearly. They replied back saying that the complaint has been forwarded to concerned dept. & they would get back to me soon. Someone called me, listened to my complaint again & told me that there was no speed cap & that 3G was activated for my account..he assured me that problem would be solved in 24 hours..but nothing happened. I kept on following up with daily email pressurizing them to resolve the problem.

                          Then they came clean & admitted that there was indeed a speed cap of 128kbps for my SIM which could not be modified now..what’s more, I would have to buy an e-Stick connection to avail 3G services. I got angry & explained that I do not intend to use 3G on laptop or desktop but only handset, so don’t need the e-Stick..but the support guy kept on repeating the same thing. Since then they have not called me further & keep on sending stock replies to my emails.

                          It is shameful that 2 reputed names of Tata & Docomo are involved in such openly fraudulent behaviour. I am going to post this story in as many online forums as possible to expose & highlight the blatant cheating practices followed by Tata Docomo till they solve my problem. I also plan to go to consumer court to make sure they at least refund my recharge amount, if not also activate 3G.

                          Has anybody else faced this kind of situation? Please post your experience & we will pressurize them into changing their behaviour & attitude.
                          I am facing a similar problem . 3G was working fine but one day suddenly it stopped working . I made numerous calls to the customer care but they say the same thing everytime. Fed up with this mess, i filed a complaint through their website(by chat). They said the problem would be solved in 5 days but nothing happened. Now i have lodged another complaint, and two days are left after which i am going to file a case in consumer court citing faulty service for which i want compensation. And the worse thing is that the people at their Dive-In store just say that it is a network problem . I dont think any network would afford to have a problem pending for 7 days.!!!

                            Since last month they are deducting my mobile balance without giving any information by activating Value Added Services for that reason i called to custmar care they were de-activated those services but after 2days later they were re-activated those service at totaly 4time de-activated that service but still i am facing same problem upto today they were deducted 50 to70Rs ,& know a days custmer care persons not picking call.

                            So please take serious action on them & please refound me my money.

                              Tata docomo people are calling and saying that we have lodged a case against you regarding non payment of bill on [protected]. even we have paid. when we say the same they are asking for receipt. luckily we have that receipt even after one year. if we lost that one shall we make the payment once again to the company.i am not understanding that why this company is black mailing the customers that we have a lodged a case against you in Delhi. you should come to delhi to close the issue. if not pay the amount in nearest branch.

                                hi TATA Docomo users, what a plan docomo you have to cheat people, just example i[censored] recharge with 196 you will get 42000 local sec. story starts here after recharging you will get 700min.(not 42000sec) you can think both are same. it is not, if you make first call you for 65 secs you will be charged from the 700 to 698, and then 2nd call i[censored] made for 30 secs, you will be charged 698 to 697, did u observed anything missing out from ur pocket???? let me answer for that 1st call 65 sec you are charged 2 min(120sec-65sec=55sec stolen) next 2nd call 30sec you will be charged 1min(60sec-30sec=30sec stolen), goood corpotarte steal right. let me expline one more things every call will be charged 1 sec more , i[censored] talk for 15sec thy will charge for 16sec. (present docomo users who recharged with Rs.196 please check you will be shocked) , if you call customer care people thy will say 700min x60sec =42000sec. but you will be charged in mins, if ask them to how to check balance, thy will ask you to dial *111*1# result will be xxx.min (not sec, try once) i[censored] ask i recharged for 42000sec why you are billing me in mins. thy will say its company rule. i[censored] asked to take a compliant simply thy will say we cant take any request on this. plz write a mail to [protected]@tatadocomo.com no one will ans for this. so frds beware of docomo offers thy are cheating us. if any one from docomo look at this message, thy will delete. if docomo is transparent company , thy should give 42000sec and billing should be in sec. if not simply people will move to better network which has perfect billing and quality in service. thse all are my personal experience with docomo. my mobile number is [protected]. planing to change to other network very soon.

                                    I have a tata docomo prepaid plan on my mobile [protected] whenever I wanted to connect to the internet it does not connect immediately. I have to literally wait for good 10 mins approx or sometimes even more to get the connection. Also once connected its not stable at all. It gets disconnected frequently.                                     asked fr internet settings again and installed the new settings then restarted my phone and issue sorted ...so ignore my complaint...however plz do look into how the chat customer agents help ...should provide a solutions rather than copy and paste transcripts...

                                        I am an customer of TATA Docomo [protected] and I am repeatedly subscribed to value added services automatically without my knowledge. Today I suddenly received a message that I was subscribed to woman health pack and lost 30 rupees. I unsubscribe immediately but my money is gone. during this course of action I came to know that I was also subscribed to some video service and no idea how much I was charged for that. Same instance happened some months ago and i spoke to customer care representative who have no idea about it and she did unsubscription and said the amount lost is lost and cannot be refunded and in that transaction I lost some Rs 30. I am annoyed with this repeated automatic subscription of services and loosing balances.

                                        My mobile automatically subscribed for call-me tunes. Docomo is collecting a lot of money from many people using this method. Don't ever take a docomo connection. If you have, wait for number portability.
