Hi,

I would like to share the worst experience that I had with Urban company recently.

I (Pradeesh) had done my AC serviced on 17th by one Mr Timothy. On the date of service he was late by 2 hrs and I had to raise a complaint with the customer service post which he turned up and completed the service. Now its just one month my AC is not working. I had arranged for a revisit today (27th Feb) and as expected he dint turn up today as well. When I contacted him he gave a lame excuse that his bike is under repair and will come in the evening for sure. I somehow dint believe that and lodged a complaint again. The customer care person did put Mr. Timothy on a conference and the customer care executive assured mewill come back at 5:30 for sure and won't be late even by a minute. I requested her badly to assign some other person but she said it's his duty to come and rectify the issue he can't just give such excuses and she will personally chase to ensure he turns up at 5:30.

Finally no one turned up nor did the customer care executive kept her promise. She dint bother to call or check again. I keep raising so many request but no one called as well.

I would like to escalate this issue as my issue is still not fixed and I have raised a new booking to get my AC issue sorted out.

I[censored]rban Company feels customer is the king then please show some respect.

I am totally disappointed with this issue. Never ever expected this from Urban Company.

    On 16th Feb 2021 a technician came to repair the fridge from Urban Company, took Rs 4000, fridge not working, technician said he will come back next day to check, dint came, dint changes in the fridge setting without informing me, been calling customer care from many days, they are saying they will resolve the issue but nothing is done yet, my fridge is ruined, its been 11 days, facing lot of issues, please help, fridge is not working

      I have registered for painting consultation on 25/2/21. The person came and taken details and given Rs.100 for consultation. Till this time no quotation or answer come from him. He said we will send the details to my email. Till this time no information. When contacted he is not answering. really upset about the service.

        Hi,

        I am a resident of A-block, Road no 104 Greenfield Colony. I request to please send dog catcher asap because there are too many stray / street dogs in our street. We are facing problem from last -6 months. Its becoming difficult to even step out for 2 minutes because of these dogs. Our children are not able to walk in our street road no 104.
        They keep on fighting each other, running here and there and creating nuisance.
        Dogs spread over garbage that is outside our houses. Moreover we are scared of known / unknown diseases which may spread.

          Cancellation fee even when therapist did not come

          I booked a massage service and the service provider was not assigned even after 1.5 hr of booking time.

          I cancelled the service out of frustration.
          Then why should I pay for the cancellation charge even when I did not get any service/call/ help from your end.

          You people are thieves!!!...

          Dear Addressed,

          Please be informed that your employee Mr. Bharath[protected]/[protected] who takes care of your painting contract had visited my friends house to give a quotation. He has quoted more wrt sft against the actual. As I know the actual sft area I got to know he is lieying.

          His idea is to visit all UC leads and quote more sft area wise and make feel the customer that UC is costly. Later he offered that he will personally execute the work with his own painters for lesser price.

          I’m writing this complaint as I have seen him execute the work with his own painters in Devi nagar near Badrappa layout. It happens to be another friend of mine. UC Your lead his execution start date 27th Jan’21 worked for 8 days and made his pocket full by conveniencing your customer to pay a lump some.

          Basically he is using UC leads and quoting more so that customers feel his personal quote is less and more cost effective.

          Just wanted to bring this to your notice and attention about potential loss for Urban Company.

          Now as in today I guess he is executing a paint contract in Doddabommasandra near reliance fresh using Urban Company potential lead.
          UC revenue profit, he is making money using you as a platform.

            The urbancompany technician ruined my refrigerator, The technician destroy my frozen heater, and he change frozen motar thermal fuse with no reason i complaint many times in urban company but no reply from.

                I booked for villa cleaning today morning.
                Your allotted person Mr. Venkatesh contacted and wanted to visit the site for evaluation.
                After coming, he is asking for higher payment of 25, 000 rupees where as the registered price in the site when we booked is approx 18, 000/-.

                We had booked it for Friday afternoon. Pl sort out the issue before that and allot somebody else for the work.

                    Date of booking: 6.2.2021. Actually February 6th, 2021 Saturday we book for one bathroom cleaning and Mr. Baskar came and cleaned it well. But one thing is in the mirror at left bottom corner like a paint patch we could see. Since we had an emergency work we couldn't inform it immediately.                     I signed up for paint job and was assured 2 labourers, and complete house will be protected including all furniture and flooring.

                    Only 1 labourer turned up, saying second is busy.
                    Horrible maskin job done - no protection on furniture and no protection on floor. Says I will clean it.
                    Uses thin paint, when pointed out - says it will look ok once the paint has dried
                    Does not clean any part of the house

                    Second day
                    Again only 1 labourer - says second labourer wants holiday because of Sunday
                    Does not clean home
                    Old wall marks still visible from the thin layer paint, and he says i will do a touch up - can you believe it??? Touch up for a new job just done?

                    I stop work and try to call Urban Company

                    Tried calling person who took my order
                    No answer

                    Tried calling support
                    No answer

                    Send email
                    No answer

                    No resolution for 3 days
                    My money is gone - house is in horrible mess - and no job done and Urban Company not willing to provide resolution or issue refund.

                    They are a fraud company.
                    Do not do business with them !!!

                      We had booked painting service with your executive Sayaprakash Savardekar and the work started on 8th Jan 2021.
                      Your company executive informed us
                      1. The painters who will be visiting would be Urban company employees.
                      2. They are trained by urban company
                      3. All precautions will be taken related to hygiene and the persons who will be visiting for work.
                      4. 15 days max time for completing the work.
                      5. Suggested to go for Lustre and said the final finish will be glossy.
                      6. For any issues first contact me.

                      None of these was actually actioned and that executive was not of any help even after repeated complaints.

                      Now it's almost month and only bedroom is done and that too with bad finish on the walls, edges not levelled, ceiling not proper level and finish, looks patchy everywhere. Especially we had stressed on having proper water proofing which was also not attended to.
                      There was no supervisor as such to visit and check the work. The assigned person Shashi Pandey, never visited or contacted.

                      To add to all such issues,
                      1. the person for starting work asked for clothes to wear as he didnt brought it.
                      2. Then said that there's additional work outside scope and asked for 4000/- otherwise they can't guarantee work will be proper. So we paid it (Gpay transactions)
                      3. Then again asked for an additional 5000/- saying the other part ceiling is having leakage. which we again paid (Gpay transactions)for having no option and even then he didint complete the work.
                      4. Then refused to remove debris asking for an additional amount to dump it.
                      5. Then they put the work on hold giving different reasons.
                      6. then the person stopped coming and for 1 day 2 different persons came
                      7. then next day some other painter came.
                      8. The painters are not feeling well, having cold, fever.
                      9. Even after repeatedly asking them to cover/mask furniture, fan, ac, they didnt do it.
                      10. Now when they started work in hall, they again asked for money saying material is required.
                      11. Debris are still lying for hall work.
                      12. wall is peeling off and it sounds hollows at many parts of the wall but they are not doing anything about it.

                      We have informed all this to your executive but he seemed least interested to help and said to speak to the painter.
                      We contacted customer support and were assured resolution within 24hrs, but nothing was done about it.
                      2nd complaint - big assurance of some action within an hour, that's also down the drain.
                      3rd complaint - no callback

                      Now who will bear the charges for redoing the bedroom. Whose responsible for any health related issues because of this month long work and no precautions followed by your people. We have already uploaded all photos related to this issue and were expecting some response.

                      The complaint was sent to [protected]@urbancompan.com, but it seems it's also a fake assurance that someone will call back, which has not happened. Since we are not getting any response, we have complained daily and never got a callback.

                        It is to inform u that I have booked home painting thru urban company. Mr Sarthak Gupta from Delhi /Delhi NCR has visited my house for measurement & approx cost. He has further submitted invoice as per the measurement taken by him.
                        I have paid approx Rs 12415/- ( 35% of total cost estimate of Rs 35500/-) on 28.01.21 & it was confirmed by mr Sarthak Gupta that materials was delivered on 29.01.21 but till date no materials were received and add to agony; this person has blocked my mobile no.

                          My booking no.is not being executed and the technician is mot willing to work.The company when called on helpline no.is not picking up my call neither any SMS is being sent.I made prepaid payment and my UC credits have not been adjusted which are about to expire on 6-2-21.Kindly take immediate action.The technician is simply waiting and he needs a helper which the company is not providing.

                            It is really disheartening and disappointing to bring this forth that i had booked a facial through Urban Company on 24.01.2021 I woke up to the burnt face the very next day because of excessive pulling of white heads by the beautician. I am completely devastated right now as i have a family function to attend day after tomorrow. I wanted complete refund of the amount and to be included in their insurance policy so that i can be compensated for their unprofessionalism. But what i have been offered is the reimbursement of the ointment their inhouse dermatologist had suggested(for which i have yet not been reimbursed).This has been my worst experience ever and the service has caused me utter damage and i demand complete compensation. The skin has been burnt and marks are clearly visible with the skin around it damaged. Necessary strict action may be taken in this regard.

                              This is regarding the complaint raised against the service requested for Full house cleaning 2BHK.

                              First of all the service men are not dressed properly didn't carry UC brand anywhere.

                              The service was extremely bad. Despite repeated requests service men were not cleaning properly.

                              The service man has splited acid on kitchen tiles which caused fire to the electric circuit boards. Fortunately, we had an electrician who came for TV fitting has immediately helped us by turning off the main power switch and stopped the 🔥

                              The fire has now caused damage to the kitchen.

                              I feel very sorry about the service provided and deeply saddened with this incident.

                              Attached pics taken in kitchen that showing electric board fire damages.

                              Multiple Calls and emails were send, but no proper response from the UC Team.

                              Request the concerned authorities to assist us in this matter.

                                  I blocked my slot for today (21st Jan 2021 ), they changed without my knowledge for tomorrow(22nd Jan 2021). I have some problems to make it on specific day. Don't consider user concerns?

                                  I want the explanation why it is not happened without user approval.
