Hi,

We recently shifted our residence. I have tried to call Airtel customer care many a times, but earlier, the call used to get disconnected after IVR put me on waiting for the customer care executive. This went on for a few times. So, as scheduled, we had to shift and the builder had to dismantle every wiring in which Airtel broadband wiring was also included. About 4-5 days back, i got to talk to a CCE, who gave me a service request number 446562, which again, is unattended as of yet. Now, as a result, i do not have access to internet facility or IPTV that i had from Airtel, at my new residence. My uncle called Airtel about a week ago and he was told that i need to go to Airtel customer care center and pay the bill first, of which due date is 25th July, yet to come, and then after 20 days an action will be taken. What is this? I am really shocked that a company like Airtel is treating it's old customers like this. My uncle was also told that someone from Airtel will call me regarding the same, but again, i haven't received any call yet. On Airtel website also, there is no provision under complaints section regarding :"Shifting of Internet/Fixed line" , and every other complaint section has different parameters which obviously i cannot fulfill, like number of modem, in case of faulty modem. I went to the nearest customer care , near Oxford school vikas puri., but they told me that it was a mobile customer care center and that i would need to go to Rajouri Garden if i want to lodge a complaint or inquire anything about landline. How funny is that ? Now i am stuck in a way what to do , should i go for another Broadband service or is Airtel going to respond to my complaint or not. Please help. Thanks & Regards,

Airtel Broadband — Unresponsive Service

My airtel broadband services has been billed more and I just want to know about my billing details but i have facing problems like;

* I have called many times but your server is down(as told by representative when calls get connected) so unable to check details.
* It takes lot of time to contact customer care as you IVR system is too long and poor.
* Due to this my bill has exceeded the desired period and late fee has been charged.

You service as well as customer representatives are extreemly poor to respond and thus customer has not only paying extra fees but wasting a lot of time contacting you.

      Sir,
      My Airtel Number [protected] is BARRED FROM OUTGOING CALLS since last 15 days. I have purchased the SIM in April 2011 and since then I am facing this problem for 4 times. I have always given the required documents at AIRTEL office at Sai Complex Berhampur, but it seems that they are not properly feeding the particulars. I have also lodged consumer complain to 121. But they have not taken any action till date. My name Pappu Satyanarayana. I have given my Voter ID once, Driving Licence once and my Photo for 3 times. They do not care at all.

        I am holding a Airtel prepaid number [protected] for the past 5 years. Recently only i converted it into per second pulse after having had a bid ordeal with Airtel Customer Care. They gave some filthy reasons for not able to convert it into per second and at last it was done, To my surprise i received a msg from AT Alerts today i.e. 12.07.2011 at 5.14 pm stating that" Kindly note your tariff plan validity has expired. your new plan will be 1.2 paise/second for all airtel and other mobile calls, all landline calls at 1.5 paise/second.
        This is ridiculous on the part of Airtel. When i have opted for per second tariff, atleast i should be provided with the facility of per second tariff to airtel customers and 1.2 paise per second. It is very clear that a company such as airtel is cheating the customers to the core just like this and minting crores and crores of money. These kind of technical crimes are getting un noticed and the public are not aware of to whom we should complain so as to curb these kind of this happening in our country.
        I had called the customer care centre and asked him whether there is any TRAI notification to the effect that the tariff has been changed, but that poor fellow does not know to explain my querry and instead giving me the website address of airtel and asking me to verify whether there is any instructions or notification from TRAI.
        I would be pleased that if Airtel may explain on what basis they have changed the tariff and on whose guidelines and if so the copy of the guidelines may be sent to me by way of email so as to enable me to proceed further in this issue or i may be forced to seek legal remedy in the consumer redressal forum so as to save lot of indians from being cheated by your coompany.

          I'm a airtel EC recharge retailer from kerala. This is to notify my discontent on the offers provided on my number [protected].
          The only offer provided to me is 10p A2A by charging 50 Ps/day. Other local call rates are also too high. So please provide me with better offers or kindly give the instruction to port my ec recharge sim to a different network.

          And also i think its high time to increase the commission of 4% on EC recharges to the retailers, since nowadays the customer recharge amount is decreasing due to lower call rates provided to them!

          Few years ago the call rates were 1.5Rs/min nd the commission was 4% and nowadays the call rates becoming as low as 30 Ps/min still the commission is 4% which is unacceptable.kindly have a look in to this matter too.

          I am Saurabh My NO is [protected].1 week ago when I applied for portability.Custome care executive call me and told me we are giving you best offer just sms CANCELCO mob no to 51619.4-5 days has been passed today when I called some one my bal was 103.40 after a call of 4 sec my bal became 102.80.Means 60 paisa.I got free talk time of 120rs A2A.But my rest offer 10p A2A & 30P A2Others has yet activate.

          I Tried 198 100 times I am unable to connect the customer care.Now I have no way to tell my problem.That is why I am complainting here.

          I want fast resolution.

            I am Laibanya Bhatra From At-Tentuligam PO-Bakadabeda Via-Dabugam Dist-Nabarangpur Orissa.I use Airtel sim last 5 year .My Airtel No-[protected] and SIM sl no-[protected].
            This SIM show sim card rejected, last five days of the Date From 06/07/2011.Than I Went to nearest Airtel Office At Umerkote and I collect a duplicate SIM on the same no.He (Staff Of Airtel Office) says that the SIM will active next 4 hours. but when that SIM not active again I gone there and complain him,but they not recieve my complain and said that he could not that.But when I call airtel custumor care they said the SIM will active through Airtel Office.That cell no verry Important for me.What I do now? Please help me..

            i using airtel sim some 5 year back .but i dont use 15 dayes .my sim rejctd in airtel company . i lot of contect no is there i am given so many people my number .plz do my help geting my prepad sim card this number[protected].

              It was about in may-june that i saw the deduction of balance from my mobile account .the sum was about 300-400 when i complained i came to know that there were around 7-8 services activated automatically.i asked them to refund the money but they refused and told me that they cant refund the whole sum but can return only for last 24 hours i accepted that time and asked them to stop all the active services and start full dnd (do not disturb) service in my no.as its not my cell its my father's i very rarely use it but yesterday i just saw that the services were again activated and the balance was getting redused without any notice to us.when i complained to the customer care of airtel they told that there is no active service and i was telling lie to them about the deduction and missbihaved with me.then just now i went to my brothers freind who is the distributor of airtel in rourkela .when he called the main office they again told that the services were activated automatically and money cannot be refunded.
              now i want to know that is it the right thing which the company is doing to me.they are going on cutting the balance without any reasons and just saying afterward that money cannot be refunded.

              i want to know that why the company activated services on my phone without my notifications instead of i activating fully dnd service on the no.???
              and i also want to know that why company is not refunding my money because it was companies fault that they automatically activated services on my no. .who will pay back my 400-500 rupees .??????
              i am thinking of switching my no. to vodafone because they don't charge money for their own mistakes...
              i have to say one more thing that please teach the customer care executives about how to deal with customers who are really worried about their money.they don't listen to the customers problems at all their behaviour ...my godd!!!what to say .i am not able to express that you can realise that situation when you yourself will deal with those persons.totally careless and just put a badge of we care for you!!!
              i want to tell company that first of all their is only one customer care centre in rourkela.which is in civil town ship.this place is about 3 kms away from the main city of rkl.we have to go there for our problems and after reaching there if the executives will behave like this them why will we use airtel.we will switch to vodafone which has atleast 5 centres at rourkela itself inspite of being a small company than airtel then will we not take those ?

                Respected Sir,

                I am an AIRTEL mobile([protected]) prepaid customer. And using this service from last one year. From last 2 or 3 month AIRTEL is subscribing me in some of their offer without my consent and deduction my balance when i am calling back to customer care service they are telling that i have send massage to them to subscribe that offer. But i can tell with full assurance that i have not send any that types of massage.

                I want my balance to be refunded.

                  From past few days I have been literally tortured with Airtel customer services. I had initially requested for my June months bill to be cross checked (Service Request No.[protected] as the 3G internet usage charges was not correct as per my understanding.

                  Even in the last month I had to face similar problem where I had to contact Airtel regarding my 3G charges which was later on adjusted from my bill.

                  I got the resolution from your Billing Team that the internet usage shown on my bill is correct which I did not agree to and in frustration I requested for my number to be cancelled.

                  Couple of days later I got a call from Retention Team giving the same resolution and also promising that they will check and get back to me next day by 5.00PM.

                  Instead of their call on Friday, 08th July 2011 I was surprised to notice that my mobile has been suspended and was asked to visit Airtel Relationship Centre with NOC letter to reactivate the services.

                  I have been customer of Airtel for more than 6 years and this is the service I get for using four Airtel postpaid numbers.

                  There is no confirmation from anyone before suspending the services.

                  I am still having the same issue with the 3G internet charges included in my last months bill and the due date is nearing.

                  Can I please have a resolution for this issue before the due date or else I would not pay my bill on time which I have been doing from last so many years.

                  I wish to stop using 3G services as there are no regular alerts from Airtel on the usage and it becomes difficult to justify at the end of the month.

                    Hi,

                    I am using Airtel Mobile ([protected]) from 15th Sep 2009 to till date, initially the bill plan was Polaris 249 but it was change to Talk 99 without my knowledge.

                    When I called customer care about this on 12th May 2011 Customer care executive said it was a mistake from there end and registered a complaint against this - Reference number 37377576. They have called after a week I am unable to pick the call on that so they have closed the complaint by saying customer issue was resolved.

                    Dont know what is happening on this.

                    I called Nodal officer number [protected] and complained about the issue, officer has escalated the issue, couple of days later I called the same number and enquired about it but instead of giving a solution they forced me to take Wavier (which I never asked) officer told me that they don't have information how the plan was changed.

                    Last week 7th July 2011 when I called Nodal officer number officer named Vinitha picked the call and she also forced me to take the Waiver and she 1000 Rs waiver but it was not even processed till date due to this my outgoing was barred.

                    Again I called on 11th July officer named Prabhu picked it he clearly said that 1000 Rs waiver was not initiated till now, when I was expalining to him and fire a question he simply disconnects the call.

                    I want Airtel to answer to the below question and want solution on this.

                    Is Airtel is not following the Indian telecomunication/TRAI rules and regulations?????

                    Why Airtel has appointed Nodal officer???

                    Why Nodal officers giving wrong commitment??

                    Each and everytime when I call Nodal officer the put the call in hold to check the database and they are not responding for more than 20 minutes, I am simply holding the call. Does India's largest mobile Network holder requires more than 20 minutes to check the database of a customer??

                    When I called customer care 12th May initally to register the complaint, the call went more than 15 minutes, I heard voice from customer care end "Dont take calls more than 15 minutes, if it goes just disconnect it". Is this the way to run a customer care service??

                    When I called Nodal officer (on the month of June) to give a call back but she refused that Nodal officers are not allowed to call customer, but for the past 2 weeks Nodal officers are calling. How this was happened??

                    If you are not able to provide a solution then why a customer care and Nodal officer is required?

                    Today @11:58AM 12th July 2011 Officer Prabhu confirmed that 500 Wavier will be given aqnd it will be processed within 4hours but, it was not done so I called at 4:30 PM to enquire about this I am geting the proper answes from the Nodal officer, she said that there is a technical problem when I forced she said it was not approved after sometime she put me on hold and finally said that there is a technical problem. I want to know what is the use of a Nodal officer???

                    13th July @ 2:30 PM I called Nodal officer number officer named Sheela picked the call, she checked the data and told me that Prabhu will get back to me within 2 hours about the Waiver but till today 15th July 11:45AM none of the officer called me regarding the issue.

                    Also she disconnected the line while I am questioning her, is this the way to handle a customer??

                    Still the issue exists and you people charging Late fee for that one month bill where my outgoing was disconnected.during the bill period, also I have one more concern when I raise a case to resolve the issue customer care executive simply close the case without my confirmation even I am not able to reach the Nodal officer number (for which you begger's charges as normal tariff rate) it simply redirect and could not able to reach nodal officer.

                    This moth Bill there is dispute in it can anybody real employee who really work for the wages which he/she gets from Airtel (actual I am paying you) contact me and resolve it or else I will not pay a single paise let see what the best you can do

                      I was using airtel prepaid ([protected]) for the past 3 years. I use to put rate cutter for msgs and calls usually. Recently I put a rate cutter for Rs 147. For that rate cutter normally 7500 msgs free for all local & national sms any mobile.But this time when i did that, airtel started charging 0.1p for other mobiles. When i called customer care they are saying they changed the plan and intimated all customers and dealers. But I checked with some more dealers also nobody is knowing this at all.Everybody is following the same old plan and guiding the customers. This is a real cheat by airtel. If they really changed the plan, it should be intimated properly to all. As no body is knowing this and putting rate cutters,they are losing their money and we cant do anythg for 3/6 months.They should refund the money back to all who used the rate cutters.There is of no use in putting that.
                      Another issue is i am using landline and net connection also. My net is not working for the past 4 days. That's too bad customer service.The call is charge 1Re for every 3 min.First when you call it will ask you to enter all your details like ph number all those stuff. After entering all, the customer care rep will again ask all ur details. I asked that rep why ur asking all i have already informed all in IVR. He is saying that u have 2 ask 121 for that and he cut the call and left without even listening me.His name is sambath.Again I called them and i told i wanted to complain abt ur rep, another fellow attended that and asked what u wanna complaint and reg whom.(may be that guys frd) and i said i wanna spk 2 ur superior.He made me 2 wait for 30min and later only he connected me.That manager(Balamurali krishna) told simply he will chk with the voice recorder and get bk 2 me.But no action from their end even after 3 days. Such a worst scenario is happening in airtel.I am going to switch both my prepaid and net to some other good network where they are really taking care of my needs.Please dont go for airtel in any case - public beware of airtel.

                      Airtel — Rate cutter does not work

                      I am having problem with airtel. my booster card Rs.97 doesn't work, even though i registered complaint sill no action is taken, and the fools working in customer care is not giving me proper response, and not attending my call.. if it continues i will have to complaint on consumer court. my number is [protected].

                        I had recharghed for blackberry service in prepaid but the
                        Person by mistake put it in genral talktime so again when I
                        Went to recharge blackberry service the airtel centre
                        Told me they were unable to do and asked me to call
                        Up 121 they inturn asked me to call 17070 who inturn asked me to
                        Go to airtel centre and when nothing worked they gave me
                        Tamilnadu applet number in this last 3 weeks I have wasted
                        300 from the recharge amount talking to only your above
                        Mentioned airtel numbers and nothing has been sorted out
                        In 20 days is this the kind of customer care you wanted
                        Your company to do. Is the motto of your company
                        Customer we don't care or else why does ur customer care
                        Talk like a prerecorded message either direct to the other
                        Department or ask for 48 hours or say we are helpless

                          I have logged an issue on 09 th July 2011 Complaint number:9854514 and my airtel digital account number is [protected] that suddenly i am getting signal loss issue and cannot watch tv.4 days are gone and till date we did not receive any call from their technical engineer. Daily we have been calling them ,still there is no proper response from their customer care. Only answer they say is we are fwding to backend team and they would call in 15 mins, but never ever i received a call from them. We atleast donot even know what is the cause of the issue. Sorry to say but this is very worst service I have ever experienced. I insist people donot oppt for AIRTEL ever.Also i called on the contact numbers provided but all the calls are diverted and remains unanswered.

                          I have purchased new Digital Tv connection on 27.06.2010(Cust ID:[protected]) but i m facing a serious problem of Signal loss because when the little bit of rain or clouds came it shows no signal.This is happened atleast 30 times in these 9 days but when i hv call customer care to log a complaint first they hold the line and make call till 40 to 45 mins and after that they disconnect call or said we r sorry.But when i hv told them tolog complaint and check this then their ececutive says that pay rs.200 for relocation.I hv not told their employee to that where u install this.After 3rd call they give me only refrence no. that is 70355358.Pls help me regard this because in same weather other dishes working finr and i hv also a another digital tv dish that working fine.The another dish is on my Name and hv cust id:[protected].

                            Sir/Madam,
                            My mobile #[protected] was registered since almost more than 10- years in DO NOT DISTURB REGISTRY which enables me to bar all promotional calls and SMS. But unfortunately my DND registration got deactivated and this has happened for the third time. I have complained to airtel about this on two earlier occasions and till today i have not received any explanation for this. Today also my DND got deregistered and i at no point of time till today have i ever sent a request to deactivate my DND.
                            NOW MY SIMPLE QUESTION IS HOW HAS IT HAPPENED AND WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS ?
                            The same issue happened last year also, and i had registered a complaint with the help line and i was assured of an answer which has failed to come till today. Three years earlier also the same issue happened and i am still to get an answer for the same. In both the cases i had to get my DND registry reactivate waiting and bearing with the irritating promotional calls and SMS for 45 days . The irony here is even airtel is a party to these promotional SMS.
                            I spoke to the nodal officer Mr.Meenakshi Bora on Phone:[protected] and there was no satisfactory answer from his side, but to inform me the complaint has been registered and i have to wait for 72 hours. Though i very clearly explained to him that i have not called to register for DND but to seek an answer for my deactivation and to leave the status of my DND in its current deactivated status.
                            After a mew minutes i get a SMS confirming my DND registration number. As i had not requested for DND who has authorized the registration. I have tried calling the nodal officer at least 10 times and my call went unanswered or went on hold for very long periods.
                            I finally called the Phone:[protected] the appellate officer Mr. anil kumar who took a complaint and said will look into the matter. But failed to explain how my DND activation request was done when i never opted for it at all.
                            I as a consumer have the right to know how can anybody from airtel without my consent activate and deactivate my DND at their whims and fancy. Is not airtel under the norms and obligation of the TRAI .
                            As a consumer i demand the answer from airtel at the earliest . I ALSO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO INITIATE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST AIRTEL UNDER THE CONSUMER LAWS AS WELL AS WITH THE TRAI.

                              My name is Feroze Mistry I am facing some issue regarding Airtel 3G,on my
                              mobile No [protected], i have an Iphone4 and i am using airtel services for the
                              same, My iphone is factory unlocked, earlier i was using your 2G services and i
                              had no issue with the same, later i decided to use ur 3G services so i made a
                              recharge of 201 on 4-july-2011. Since that day i am not abe to connect to the
                              net,
                              firstly i tried to check my usage plan with *121*11# as it is not showing MB
                              in my account till date and later when i try to connect to the net it say's
                              "You are not suscribed to cellular data Service" and "You are not connected to
                              the net"

                              Now i tried calling your help line as they advised me to get in touch with the
                              GPRS department. so i called up PAID service helpline of 121118, there i did
                              not find solution to my issue.I found that the executive are not Specialised on
                              iphone4, they them self need to get help from others and if no solution found
                              then the answer would be "Sir try after an hour as our Servers and Systems are
                              down, we are facing downtime". if you are Irate the call is disconnected.
                              There is no professionalism on call technicians Giggle, they speak to other,
                              and put you on hold with asking for long time, this is not service we pay for,
                              don't they know that customer is paying for phone call, instead of telling them
                              not to keep on hold they do.....i really don't understand where am i ?.you can
                              check the recording of your system for the same.

                              i called after some time and the i need to brief the executive again abt the
                              issue and in turn its a Supervisor call,i got in touch with various Supervisor
                              of the paid service (siddhart, shreyas, priyanka, & James Martin) all big talks
                              however no solution.
                              however i end-up getting reference no and time limit, now i am really unhappy
                              with the services of 3g i really need some good tech ppl to look into this
                              matter

                              Once again i would like to thank the expertise of the concern issue, how ever i am really not happy with the call based solution which Airtel provided, I repeat there is no professionalism with the call center people.

                              Now that you are looking into the issue I would like to inform you that till date I have not received any permanent solution, now days I am not able to connect with Airtel 3G network, however I am able to connect with 2G network

                              I really don't understand wht to do, sometime I am able to connect with 3G

                                I am Airtel broadband customer since 2008 and I was very happy with their service.Recently I shifted from Mysore to Bangalore, I asked for my Airtel connection shifting on 7th July 2011. At first CC said that relocation will take max 3 days, later they told me it can take max 20 days !!!!!! but from CC assured me that it will be done within 3 days...8th July one Airtel guy called me and said it will be done tomorrow...but till today nobody again call me or informed me about the delay...and when I called CC they are now saying it will take 20 days !!!! Only for relocation I have to wait 20 days ????

                                It is already 12 days gone after I request for relocation, till my connection is not relocated. It is really frustrating to wait for so long. I am really disappointed by Airtel's service. I am planning to switch from Airtel if it is not relocate before this weekend. I cant wait anymore.

                                My contact number (mobile) is working fine and I didn't get any SMS from airtel regarding this, yesterday evening I canceled my Airtel connection and requested for dc after waiting for 24 Days...so your team doesn't need to work in this issue anymore...Thanks for harassing me for such a long time...

                                I am also facing same problem. I got relocated in the same city. They first said it will take at the most 5 days. After waiting for 5 days I again contacted them then they said it will take another 2-3 days. Since then I have been waiting and they are just giving all sorts of excuses. Technical issue, not at exchange, not in same area etc. etc.

                                They finally put the wiring but still not started connection. They are really harassing me. I want to complaint this to higher authorities.

                                  Sir, i purchased 6 postpaid connection in CUG plan.According to my plan all
                                  airtel CUG numbers are free and other call rate is 30 ps/min. for all over
                                  india.But i found after my first month bill that my call rates are 20 ps/min.
                                  for CUG plan and 50 ps/min. for other.I complained about it to the customer
                                  care , they said that it will clear... within 24 hours.but I didn't get any kind
                                  of response.And now it's time to come my second month bill, but my call rates
                                  are same as before.I want all my call rates according to my plan as soon as
                                  possible.

                                    I have registered for MNP PORTABLITY ON 24/06/2011. i have submitted an application and my correct id proof to tata docomo. But my request has been rejected from airtel for unkwon reasons. when i am calling to airtel customer care (on 05/07/2011) they asked me to wait for 2 days and my problems will be cleared.But they dont.Again i called on 08/07/2011 again they asked me to wait for 3 days. But still now they didnt solve my problem. Now calling to customer care form my number is not working. i dont know what to do.

                                    With the ref of my mobile No. [protected], I switch my operator from Idea to Airtel on 29 Jun 2011 (I submit MNP request on Airtel Prepaid Office ), Airtel executive collect the documents & port number and gave me new Airtel sim card.

                                    But i see 5th July 2011 morning my Idea Sim card registration failed. i have changed Sim Card New Airtel Sim Card it also shows the same msg sim card registration failed. and till today my Airtel sim is not activated it shows sim card registration failed. My Idea sim is also blocked it also shows the same msg sim card registration failed.

                                    I called Airtel customer care said my number is not showing in record.

My complaint should have been taken on priority but still on 6th July none of Airtel Official have contacted me. Being in such a position, makes me to think if decision to switch to Airtel was at all appropriate as service quality seems worse here.

                                        This is Jithin using airtel mobile number [protected] post paid connection for last 6 years. I have activated GPRS in September 2009 250 rs Unlimited Plan. 3 Months back i realized airtel charging[protected] rs for Gprs usage. My company paid all bills during these period. Fortunately i checked bills and realized the same. I called 9 times to customer and they told me they don't have any unlimited plan. again i called from other number and they confirmed unlimited plan is there. I recorded these all calls.

                                        This is 100% cheating from airtel

                                        I registered complains 3 times to return the amount they collected for gprs. 4 calls i got from different people and they told me don't change service provider they will return amount. Till no response and continuously getting sms insisting pay bills.

                                        I Started my GPRS on the 19-Apr-2013 through airtel customer care executive at Ankur cross road (Skim:199rupees per month for GPRS), Ahmedabad and start uses of this facility of 20-Apr-2013. but in last two days the service provider charged me on 1166/- rupees on 24-Apr-2013 and today (25-Apr-2013) I received a message from service provider that me unbilled amount is 2200/-.

                                        So I don't know how the unbilled amount shows high amount of rupees.
