I got very poor coverage in my flat where as coverage of other service provider is very good, my friends who have Airtel those also faces same problem.
please do the necessary action, till date I didn't get any reply from yours. your executive give me date 7th july 2011.
today is 11th July 2011.

i have complined for poor coverage that there is no signals at BHEL MIG I COLOCNY HYDERABAD 500032 SINCE TWO MONTHS MY MOBILE NO.[protected]
I have postpaid conection of airtel,in our colony(wanakbori thermal power station,Gujarat) already a tower of airtel but here is poor network problem in every where at the colony & call drop problem is the headeche for us so kindly take nessesary action emidietly pls.

inform about network problem inside my home.i had give lot of times
complaint to customer care,nodal officer,appellate officer and
retention manager ullas tharakan cochin.my problem is i didn't get

network coverage inside my home and another notable thing is all other
mobile provider's except airtel gives full coverage inside my
home.first time i gave complaint on feb 8 from there i gaved lot of

complaints.now its already passed 8 months but still there is no
improvement in my complaint.so here i am going to disconnect my

postpaid number.and i want to say one more thing that is airtel is the
worst connection in kerala ever i saw in my life time.and your
coustmer satisfaction absolute zero...!what the hell u people doing there than resolve my problem.........?
who said it resolved...!i am still facing the coverage problem...!dont make customer's fool...!

    I was using airtel postpaid connection for around 4 years and i found that there is some fraud (Manipulation of bill) so i converted my postpaid account to prepaid now also fraud has not ended they charge me 60pisa instead of 50pisa and also certainly they charged me 30rs for hello tunes.

    To stop that i call them and i asked they said some one activated it by mistake, it wasted my 10 min.

    I surely believe this kind of things are not a mistake they plan and do it.

    if they take 30 RS from 1% of the customer just think how much they will get?

    So there should be rule to manage this kind of fraud.

    There was theft in house in the wee hours on 17.01.2009 and in the process my Airtel Mobile Telephone no [protected] has been stolen.A General diary has been made witg Barahanagar P S in the morning on 17.01.09.This is for your kind infomation and necessary action including blockade of line.

    i had a LG mobile,which was stolen some time back.the mobile had a feature called'Lost Mobile Tracker'.the feature works as follows;we should store a number (preferably friend's)in our LG cell and in case of a theft the number of the person(thief) using ur mobile is sent to the stored mobile no.(friend's) via sms.
    As such,in my case an Airtel no. is being displayed on the stored mobile no.(my dad's).the no. is [protected].
    i would be much grateful i[censored] were to look into this matter.i do hope you will find an amiable solution.awaiting your reply earnestly.thank you

      This is Pavan Kumar A (+[protected], recently ported from Docomo to Airtel.

      After porting to airtel, my tariff was A2A 0.5p/sec, A2O 2p/3sec and daily free SMS (with no first SMS charge).

      As per friend suggestion, to get free minutes, I have recharged with Rs 36 special recharge card, which was giving free minutes.

      After recharging, my tariff got changed and that to minutes pulse from seconds pulse, "A2A 50p/min and A2O 60p/min and free SMS (only local SMS) with first SMS charge". I came to know, after calling customer care, that Rs 36 is a tariff change card. Earlier Rs 36 special recharge was giving free minutes, but they changed it to tariff change card, it seems.

      I told customer care that I am ready to loose that Rs 36 and asked them to revert my tariff to old tariff. I also told that I am ready to recharge with any special top-up to get my old tariff. Customer care (airtel) is not reverting my tariff to old tariff.

      Please help me in getting back my old tariff.

      I am very unhappy with AIRTEL in this issue. I am waiting for 3 months to complete so that I can port to some other network.

        No matter what option I select from Airtel's IVR, I always get a pre-recorded voice message to dial *121# for Balance related queries. I even get an SMS with the same message afterwards.

        If I have a problem with GPRS, I would get the same message to dial *121#.

        I got to know from Airtel's relationship center that this is a new method to get rid of prepaid customers.

        This is my message to fellow pre-paid customers to be wary and never call IVR for trivial issues, as they'll block you from contacting their customer care reps in the future.

        I was able to speak to reps only twice and they blocked me forever, afterwards. I tried all possible ways to contact Airtel to report this issue - 121, 198, 51111 and 12118.

        I am not complaining against Airtel as I don't expect anything from an Indian lala type company.

        actually, all of your emails (airtel guy) were marked as junk and i couldn't see them on time.

        no, the issue has not been resolved and until now, no one from airtel has been able to pin point the issue. all of them are clueless and they give me some arbitrary resolution dates.

        i was told almost a month back that this issue would get resolved by 7th Aug 2011. i'll just wait for few more days to see what kind of magic airtel is going perform, to alleviate all o[censored]s from this IVR issue!

        and there's no way i am going to put my contact number in a public forum!

          Dear Sir / Madam ,

          I have raised several complaints relating to poor network coverage in the area of Trimulgherry , Hyderabad for the past one year . There is no action being taken by the Airtel Team till date .

          I have specifically written to Appellate authorities , Nodal Officers , Customer Care Dept etc. The Answer I am being told is that the poor network coverage is due to several reasons like Topology , Climate etc.

          But I would like to bring it to their notice again that if that is the case then there should be no signal through out . But in my case i am facing a signal variation from high to low within in seconds causing call drops and annoying customers .

          I would like the concerned authorities to take necessary action at the earliest.

          Airtel — Extremely Poor Network - Poor Service

          I have recently relocated to Pune and got a new Airtel postpaid connection through the agent who came to my company (IBM) for corporate connection.
          The agent had promised me an activation time of 4 hours and it took almost 24 hours for activation.
          But the real trouble came after that. The signal strength is extremely weak at most places. I cannot talk for more than 5 minutes continuously. If I take a call in my car while traveling to office from Aundh to Hinjewadi, the call gets dropped every 4-5 minutes. I never get the signal in my office- situated in the supposed to be IT hub of Pune - Hinjewadi Phase 2. And most of the times even when the network coverage is there while you make call it says "Network Busy".
          I never get the signal at my home - in Aundh. Why do they come for corporate connection to the company when they know about the signal quality at the building? The customer support executives never attend to your queries well. You never get to talk to them.

          Poor network - call drop every 5 minutes - poor service quality - poor support- Pathetic experience I had with Airtel

          Airtel — no coverage in deccan area

          This is with regards to starting of mobile services of [protected].The service is stopped due to non -payment of bill.The bill has not been paid due to no-coverage in Deccan area on BMCC Rd.This complaint of no coverage has been given many times to the customer care for the past 2 years but till date there is no action taken on this front.There have been many issues which are not addressed till date.

          Issue no.1: No coverage In Deccan Area which is amongst the prime areas in Pune.A complaint for this has been logged many times.

          Issue no. 2:A couple of bills have been paid through Mchek for which there is a discount of Rs.100 per bill.But till date no discount has been given.

          Issue no.3:The call gets dropped automatically even if there is full coverage.

          These issues have been told to the customer care but till date no action has been taken.

From past 1 year my network coverage is very poor though there is a tower within 1 km but still I face this problem. I cannot make calls and receive calls as there is no network coverage. From past 1 year iam post paid customer of airtel. There is poor network coverage in my home from past 3 years. There is no network coverage. When there is network coverage, there will be a call drop problem. Every day, i will get minimum of 5 missed call alerts in my mobile. From last year october onwards i giving complaint airtel 121. But no body had responded till now. At the time of calling airtel, every time they are saying that technical team is working in that area. So, according to them, technical team will work in one particular area for months and years. Since, one year airtel is misleading me. I am posting this compliant because, by seeing this, they will respond quickly. Will the respond???????????????

          Airtel India — poor coverage

          I had been complaining to AIRTEL for poor coverage in outskirts of Chennai since Mid of January, and till date ie.. Mid of March, no action has been taken by them.

          Every time i call up customer service or write a message to [protected]@airtelindia.com, they give me a new customer complaints no., but with no concrete action.

          I'm forced to carry my old no, since i have been having this no since last 9 years.

          I am using the Airtel prepaid, but the service is very worst the call can not complete without any intruption or call drop.
          The service is very bad, even customer care does not support well, everytime they gives fullish answers to our complaints.
          Call drops even at prime areas of pune like deccan, J.M Road, S.B. Road, Satara Road.

          So please do the needfull if possible.

          Airtel — Extremely poor Network Coverage & Customer Service

          Hi,

          I have been a Airtel customer since the last 7 years in pune ([protected]). I have been facing NETWORK COVERAGE problems in the Kothrud, Pune area for the last several months and I have talked to the customer care like million times and unfortunately till date the problem is not yet resolved.

          All that I get is assurances after assurances from the customer care team saying - Our technical experts would be getting back to you ASAP, but its been more than 3 months now and not a single person has been called me or solve this problem.

          If this problem doesnt get resolved within a week I will be forced to switch my service to a different mobile service provider.

          I hope Mr. Sunil Mittal is listening atleast this time, if he really cares for his business.

          on Ist july i had got call from airtel that "if you recharge with 998 u will be getting rs 150 balance every month for 12 months and the amt should b used with tht month only.for every local call rs 1 will b charged from that 150 rs
          so as i recharged with 998 on 1-7-2009 at 20:30:52 and tansaction id is[protected] and i got 150 rs talk time in july month.

          I reside in the campus of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Birbhum which is situated at Gopalpur. Here, inside the campus, airtel signal(Labpur C) strength is very poor. The signals go down while making or receiving a call. We are facing a great many trouble due to this. The airtel tower is just 3 k.m. away(Labpur).

          I have been complaining about weak signals since October 2009. Spoke to networking people at Airtel umpteen times, registered complaints severally but to no avail

          Nobody bothers, no action taken yet.

          no response calls made and actually no effort made to improve the situation from airtels side
          It is surprising that few of my complaints were closed by merely saying that our team has visited and has resolved the problem BUT NOBODY met me ever neither the problem is resolved

          I have made desperate calls number of times to request to kindly look into the matter BUT nobody is bother and i am always replied that complaint is in OPEN STATUS

          I also requested to have a booster installed but even that was never done

          ACTUALLY NOBODY LISTENS

          I have not paid my dues for last 3 months thinking that it may turn officers eye but Airtel seems to have extremely deep pockets and is not bothered about a small customer like me

          Will my problem be ever resolved OR should I start looking for another service provider

          The issue raised is addressed as stated by you, but still the problem persists . I would like your Network Team to visit the place in my presence so that the issue can be briefed and get resolved at the earliest . I have been listening to excuses given from Airtel Representatives for the past one year, if no action can be taken kindly state it rather than closing the tickets raised.           The signal bar keeps changing from searching- no service- max 1 or 2 bars of signals for every 1 min.

Obviously i am forced to take one more connection from reliance which has a very good coverage. I request airtel officials to look into the matter and resolve otherwise it has the threat that users of airtel in that locality might [censored]ed to other operators. needless to say mobile number portability is available, so no one will hesitant to shift to ther other operator.
          I am a airtel mobile post paid customer for a past 15 years.Last year I relocated to Thiruneermalai, chrompet, chennai-44.Here i am facing signal problem for last one year.i am not able to make acall from my flat.I need to come out to open space and make a call.I have called customer service and they told we are working to fix this issue.I have maile to 121 email id.They responed with the content of &quot;fix this issue is not an easy one we will fix this issues soon&quot; like that.i think in our apartment more than 1000 customers for this unavailable network.we spoke to airtel relationship manager from our apartment assosiation.They also got the same reply.

          We are facing poor network coverage issue in my area (Mahavir enclave in Palam, Delhi) for last 2 months. Connectivity is really bad and there is no network coverage at all. I have put several complaints in Airtel customer care, but there is no response.
          Pls see and look into the matter, lest residents don't shifted to alternate service providers.

          The airtel is getting very poor at Malbazar, Jalpaiguri . I hardly get my network at my home .           I am getting annoying call interruptions on Airtel since last few days in Hinjewadi Phase 3 area.

          I am not able to hear the calling party for about 10 seconds and again the service resumes. This happens almost every minute. It is very frustrating and I miss out on important sentences which I have to ask the other party to repeat, It is very embarrassing too.

          I have complained to airtel but no relief.

            My Mobile bill dated for the month of june was shocked that the amount they are mentioned as 1275, stating that i used out going calls for Raj Tv network's SOLLUNGAL VELLUNGAL programme. I asked The airtel network that i used the mobile connection for the past 2 years. My monthly mobile bills does not exceeds more than Rs.250 because of less usage and CUG. But for the june month the shocked bill amount stating that the outgoing calls from my mobile to the raj tv network was more than Rs.950 . You know onething i don't have such raj tv channel connection in my home DTH.If it is be like that how it is possible to participate and play the rajtv's sollungal vellungal programme. But the AIRTEL network demanding me to pay the full amount eventhough i tried to ask clarification for the amount. They repeated the same to pay me the entire amount. I don't know what to do? But i force to pay the amount for the non made calls?

              Airtel digital TV ID No.[protected] has been developed technical problems since three weeks back and complaint to the airtel callcenter (Complaint No. 9514416), After repeated complaint to the concerned authorities and call centre for two weeks. The company sent a technician without bringing any instrument to fix the problems. He promised to come back with the instrument to fix the problem. But he did not turned up and there after again complaint to the nodal officer (Ph: No. [protected]) She told me that she will contact the concerned person for repairing. It is very regret to say that no person came to solve my problem till today. I hope the Airtel Digital TV will solve this problems without further delay and compensate me.

              I am forced to send this complaint to you as the circumstances are pushing me to do so , to be honest to you i am working with
              PATNI COMPUTER SYSTEM C-28 Sec-58 Noida ,I had taken Airtel Corporate connection on 18 Jan and it took around 15 days to do the verification and I am getting calls from Agent that we are coming tomorrow for address verification consequently thrice but noone had came for verivification and then my number has been barred my number is [protected] and i calledup many a times and i have word with many supervisors all of them telling me that i need to resubmit the document's again then i resubmitted the document again mentioning the billing address as my company address and I have Submitted

              even though they had barred my number without any notification and when I called up they are telling me to resubmit the document ,I called up for around more than 4 hours in 4-5 attempt but no one had resolved my issue either they put me on hold or telling me that supervisor is busy on the other call ,they promise to call me back but i had never get any call ,they promise to call me back and they no that my number has been barred so i want to know how can they call me back .
              This is an important number for me because I had given an interview in Visakhapatnam for the post of Assistant Manger and i will get a call within next 2-4 days but because of Airtel I believe i am not able to receive that call

              Airtel — extremely poor response

              i have been a postpaid mobile user of airtel for last 15 months, for the last six months they have activated various alert services without my consent and are not responding even after end number of requests.i have called them, mailed them, filled a complain even at their outlet and have mailed it to their nodal officer, but all in vain.they are regularly charging me for those services. I am also registered customer of their DND services, but still receiving various promotional messages.

              Dish TV — very bad service. only interested in making money. bad irresponsible customer care call center persons

              I have a Airtel postpaid connection since 5-6 years. i have shifted to a new house and in Aug 2008 i have logged a complaint with customer care reagrding the bad netwrk at my home. the complaint is not yet resolved and when i call the customer care they say we need some more time.
              Since last 4 5 days i am not able to make any call in the evening to any of the Airtel numebers specially in Pune city. Please do something to solve this as soon as possible else i will have to switch to some other operator. FYI. i will have to cancel all the 3 numbers if the servie is not improved.

              Airtel Mobile — Bad Experience

              I have subscribed to Airtel mobile post paid connection [Mobile Number: [protected]] in the first week of February, 2009. Initially, I was using the same number as a prepaid connection since December 2008, which I have converted to post-paid connection in the first week of March. I have submitted all the documents at the time of taking pre-paid connection, and again at the time taking post-paid connection as desired by Airtel.

              On conversion to post paid subscription, my post paid connection with same number is activated around 9-12 March 2009 and which after few days, number is barred and suspended. I enquire about the reason for barring my number and came to know that the document is not complete yet.

              Again, I visited the outlets and submitted address proof documents on March 30, 2009. Still, my number is not activated.

              I took a new Airtel pre paid connection and give all my papers to the vendor who promised me that it will activate in a few hours. It has been more than 2 days now since I am waiting for the activation. The shopkeeper, from whom I bought the connection finally after much insistence from me, passed on the number of the Airtel dealer who was responsible for getting connections activated. When I called the dealer, he is feigning ignorance and he keeps telling me he has submitted all papers he received to Airtel. Now I am stuck between the shopkeeper and the dealer

              i have blackberry-8100 mobile i use prepaid card before your customer suppoert office given worng infromation that you rechage the 401 and start the blackberry services but that not works. than i visit to customer car in ahmedabad they give the insturction that go to connection post paid i aggree i give all 500 rs for connection and all necessary documents and submit to concerns than i start the blackberry plan of 299/ per month my service start i use my card only four days and they cut the connection with out any message my sim card failed .i unbale to call customer care. than i visit to customer care i gave all anothere copies of documents and still servies not start for me .
              right now my sim card is failed not satificatory answare by any staff. i loose all my money so right now my sim card still failed .so hope i mail and it will works.

              airtel/Digital tv — extremely poor service

              Dear sir,
              i have purchased digital tv in january 2009 but i have problems as follows:
              1) i was tols that the monthly rental will be Rs. 99/- but they are charging rs. 150/-. i have nevel upgraded my package or added channels but still i am paying rs. 150 per month.
              2) the recharge vouchers are not generally available in the market as it is available for cell phone. therefore i switch for online payment option. but it is never responding and i am facing a big problem in registration and online payment.
              3) moreover, i made a complaint directly to airtel digital tv and i have received an computer generated response and call from their call centre as well. but ultimately the problem is as it is.
              3) an extreme turn today at 3:45 pm (07/08/09) i recieved a call from digital tv, asking me to recharge my account. i requested that why you are charging 150/- per month instead of rs. 99/-, they do not have rightful answer, i again told now pl convert my package to rs. 99/- per month, she still said they cant do any thing.

              i am unnecessory paying rs. 51/- per month extra. and they are not willing fix it as per my requirement. online payment system is also pathatic and i have to search shops keosks for recharge voucher.

              AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Poor Call Center Services

              Yesterday i called the customer care to fix up an appointment for installation and activation of my digital tv. the executive named Harivansh Yadav authenticated my request and gave me an appointment for today at 7pm and also gave me an order id no. for reference. when i called the customer care today just for re-confirmation about the installation so that i can reach my home before 7pm, the new executive named Nitin told me that my installation scheduled has not been done. though i have the customer id with me and the order number also given by the first executive. Mr. Nitin told me that i need to re-schedule the installation and need the voucher id also at the time of booking the installation which i didnt had. i asked mr. nitin to transfer the line to his senior. he put me on hold for 2 minutes and then he disconnected the line. i again called the cust. care and a new guy picked up the phone named Sunil. i told him the same story and he told me that he can schedule the installation if i give him the recharge pin code. i gave him the code but asked him to schedule it for today only. he told me that its not possible for today. he has booked my installation for tomorrow at 5 pm. i requeted him for 7pm as i cannot reach at 5 pm. Now i think i will have to take a leave from my work to get this airtel tv installed......i am scared from the service they are providing in the begining. and dont know what will happen in the future.......very bad Airtel.....

              I am Ankit Pathak an airtel digital tv cutomer from lucknow.I wanted to activate the espn package and ordered the comapny via SMS as it was displayed on the menu but nothing happned then i ordered them on the cutomer care number but nothing happned once again for 2 to 3 days infact many times i called them they told me that server is down and not only that many times they told me that there is a technical issue but i cooperated with them.Then when no one was addressing my complaints i went to digtal tv customer relationship centre but they did not listen to me infact they were busy doing their own work.
              Then i sent a mail to Airtel Digital tv and got a call only ONCE during whole of this problem and Ms Ruchi from Delhi told me that she will activate my package and she also told me the same thing that there is some technical issue.I also told her that i am unable to open an acount on their web site to avvail some more services but nothing has happned of that complaint as wll.Not only that she sent me a MAIL that was not addressed to me.I also told her about all the misbehaviour but she only listened and there was no satisfactory answer at all.
              I am not angry for the incovienience that i had but the way in which they have dealt with this and they are dealing right now and has forced me to write this mail.
              Not only this there executive does not inform us of any package other than the costliest one.I hope my complaint will be taken from here and will be looked after in a better way than the company is doing.

              After 10 days STV (Setup box) can't standby with remote. Then I logged a complain in customer care on 07-10-09 & complain no is 1182667. After that two guys were come on 12-10-09 to our house with wearing two airtel digital tv printed red colour banion They told that your STV will be replace. No work is process so I logged complain on 14-10-09 (complain no is 1226331), 17-10-09 (complain no is 1242236),[protected] complain no is 1252717),[protected]complain no is 1266068),[protected]complain no is 1271080) & 22-10-09 (complain no is1271080) . My problem isn't resolve till yet. Even is I was talked with Supervisor of Airtel customer care on 19-10-09,20-10-09. After that he also avoid my phone. I think that local cable operator are the best as compare to Airtel digital TV .
              2nd thing is that I was add ESPN plus package on 22-09-09 but when I called on 21-10-09the customer care to cancel the ESPN plus package, I came to know that my ESPN plus package was already canceled . But till yet ESPN is coming to my STV.
              I made a big mistake to purchase Airtel Digital TV. My suggestion is that don't purchase Airtel digital TV in your life. Who will be the responsible for this ?

              I called the airtel customercare for getting the balance loss information and status information on deactivating miss cal alert service.
              First CC lady: Told me that the misscall alert service where deactivated and the amount Rs. 15/- has been deducted before (02.11.09) the deactivation date. So asked her to activate it if the amount for the next month has already deducted. but she told again a 15 ruppes will be deducted for activation. hummm i hanged up
              Second CC lady: First i asked about the date of deactivation of misscall alert. She told me its on 01.11.09. Then i told her about the deduction of amount from my account. Hummm She has no information on that... She told the amount has not deducted from my account and after a beep beep call droped. hummmm bad idea airtel.
              Third CC Man: I asked for whos is right on both i just called before. he told they have just taken the complaint to deactivate miss call alert today morning (ha ha ha). I told this is a new information to me and three persons have given three different information on same thing. whos right... again beep beep call dropoed. gud idea cc

              Airtel DTH — Poor response have not fixed the issue till date

              Stay away from Airtel DTH.
              I purchased the Airtel DTH and have run into issue from the begining .
              First the Airtel office sales person told be wrong rates and after subscription and checking the charges I had to query on call center 7 time to finally get the answer and then had to pay extra . (3 to 4 times they hung upon me) Very Bad...

              Then one day the system stopped working (Less than 45 days of installation)....I registered complaint and no response for 3 days ...
              Then a person called stating he will visit my flat and fix the issue ...no one turned up ....
              Next day I get SMS stating this issue is fixed...not was working , no one came and they just closed the complaint ..I had to register another complain ....new complaint number ....
              Then I got another call saying some one will come to falt to fix the issue .. no one turned up ....
              called helpdesk again.. same old response , we will send some one soon ... 6 days gone..from the start of issue ...
              This system doesnt work ......avoid airtel DTH...very poor customer service..... issues till not fixed

              Hi, I bought airtel dth on 9th Nov. 09. the engineer came 4 instalation is from tata sky, they provide cable 8-10 meter its hardly connecting with my tv. I raised question that time but they reply rudely than I made complain regarding but no action till now.
              than there is some problem in stb, again made complain on 17 th nov 09 , i got one fone call on 19th nov. 09 from engineer he said he suppose 2 come 2day, instead of coming engineer i got massage that my stb problem is resolve.

              I see everytime the same reply as above of not having the proper address of customer. This cannot be true in every case. So please try to give another excuse if you don't have any solutions.

              Please ask your company not to do any business in DTH if they are not capable of doing so.

              I am Gopal raje urs.B from Mysore and my AIRTEL DIGITAL TV customer id is [protected]..,

              I had registered a complaint on[protected] regarding non functioning of my Airtel DTH(STB).., and i was acknowledged with a service request number 1636784 on my registered number ([protected]). and i was assured that the call will be resolved by[protected] before 1.30PM.

              Till now no one has turned up and as assured i dint even recieve any call from Airtel.

              again I called up Customer Care on[protected] evening 8PM and I spoke to Supervisor Mr.Girish and he assured me that the call will be attended by[protected] before 12 PM.

              and[protected] at 5 PM i spoke to one more Supervisor Mr.Chandan Kumar, (reference Number : 1643283) even he assured that a service will come before 6 PM , But result is same, No one from Airtel has contacted or attended the call and problem remains unresolved.

              The people sitting in customer care are unable to resolve or transfer the calls to their superiors on questioning they say that the Manager is not in seat. Whenever i call up they say the complaint is still open and it will be resolved within next 24 Hrs.

              I really don't how Airtel Company is claiming they work 24x7 when my problem is escalated by 48 Hrs. I was waiting for the engineer on[protected] taking off from office and Airtel service personnels dont have basic courtesy to call up and inform that they are not able to come down.

              I never expected such a bad service from a company like AIRTEL

              Inspite of having recharged the account in valid time period, some channel was inacctivated. Repeated calls to Customer Care was just to test my level of pateince and harassment to self as a customer.

They even denied me connecting to their supervisors on flimsy grounds. Prompt action needs to be taken against such individuals and services.

              Yes, yar... i am calling them from last 5 days, than once they come and told me that you setup box get faulty, you need to repair it and will cost you Rs800, i just start bargain with them and he told me, ok it will cost you 500 and also extend your warranty, i can not understand this, like the problem which cost me 800, how will resolved in 500 + warranty, than i ask NO, so he left and i call someone in surat who is head (someone named with Jayesh), he also deny to repair it without charge and told me that customer care is our boss ( this is first time i come to know that in Airtel, customer care comes at TOP) , i call customer care 2-3 times an than he send me someone around 8:30 PM and repaired it without cost, now what the hell the issue to first guy who come to visit, and another day someone else comes and he replace my set top box , so what the issue with second guy, because it cost me twice ( my set top box is under warrant till 9th March 2010), of service charge, so any how they get 200 from me.

              Really bad experience ,and expected from Airtel at least, have mobile, broadband and landlines but DTH is worse experience for me.

              Since last two days I have been contacting / complaining customer centers ([protected] &[protected]@airtel.in ) for non receipt of many channels and setup box problem. They (Customer care executives) are confusing me and giving local dealers' nos which are non existent nor switched-off. My complaints registered vide reference nos 2414832 dtd 15/04/10 & 24211812 dtd 16/04/2010. Local dealers are saying that this is not our job and we would not attend this.

              in such a scenario, what a customer would do. Having such a network and setup, no-one would expect so poor response from Airtel. If you are not able to provide services how do you dare entering into business activities of digital tv.Plz. try to resolve it otherwise, i would be proceeding legally.
              I fully agree with this.Airtel is giving such a pathetic response. I am also Airtel tv subscriber and having problems with their service. I requested for a deinstallation & reisntallation while i was shifting the home. The local service center person gave 5 times false commitment that enginerr will be coming, but never turned up. They do not know how to talk to customers. Customer center is very poor and i am wondering why there is no higher level escalation is provided by Airtel. Totally unprofessional

              I lodging complaints with Airterl Digital TV customer care from last one week and there is no response.

              Every time I call customre care and I am being given new date but none of tehir engineer visited to resolve my problem.

              I have never experienced such a worst service. Airtel is undoubtly the WORST service provider as far the Digittal TV is concerned.
              This is painful to inform you about the worst experience in my life by taking the service of Airtel DTH. The connection has not been established in last 48 hours. I have purchased a new Airtel DTH connection with consumer id [protected]. The set up box has been installed on 2nd May, 2010. I have paid Rs. 999 on 30th April, 2010 for new connection. I have called to your customer care cell and every time i got false promise to get the activation in next one or two hour. I have had a very good image for Airtel with mobile, but the entire image has tarnished in this new experience. You don't know how to respect customer. If you are unable to provide the service, you don't have the right to hard money of people and display the Annual growth of Airtel by misleading people. I have tried to contact your customer care 100 times in last 48 hours, but failed to get a response. Today, I could not even speak to CCE at 12150 as every time the call gets disconnected.

              This is my humble request to please return my money and get you set box back. I will be thankful to you.

              I totally agree with the poorest service provided by the Airtel DTH service. My painful incident is that I had paid Rs. 1590 for new Airtel DTH connection on 30th April 2010 using online Credit card and I had been informed on 30.4.2010 through phone (from number [protected]) that my customer ID is [protected] and my connection will be installed and activated within 48 hours. But till today no one has turned up with STB for installation. Today I called the customer care executive at 3.00 pm, but no one had picked up my call. I had also sent a mail to [protected]@airtel.in on 2.5.2010 about this, but no reply.

              I do not know whom to contact and totally unhappy with this painful experience from Airtel DTH service. Now I am repenting why I have gone for Airtel DTH service and would be happy if they refund my money.

              Dear Sir,
              I have an airtel digital TV connection bearing ID [protected]. For past 03 days there has been no signal from the antenna. I registered a complaint bearing no 2659069 on 09 May10 on the cust. care no [protected]. They pormised me that it will be resolved by 1656 hrs on 09 May. At 1700 hrs I called up to ask why it has not been resolved, the cust. care operator mr Asif told me it will be done by 17 30 hrs. But it was not done. At 1800hrs on 09 May I registered another complaint as to why the request has not been resolved (ref no 2662279). I was told that it will be done by 10 May 10. On 10 May I called up the help line . I was told by the cust care operator Mr Sahil that the Engg will visit my place at 1730 hrs. At 1730 when I called up I am being told by the Cust. Care operator Mr Vaibhav that the problem has been resolved from their side and that the problem from my(customer Side) will be done on 11 May10 . It can be seen that they have lied to me all the way from 09 May till now. It is requested that the matter be taken up with their higher ups. Also their contact details be made available to me.               I have Airtel DTH at home and it has been a complete pain to have it. It has been one week since i recharged my account with Rs500 which no has Rs540+ balance. Even then i am not able to view any channel, i have been calling customer service everyday(in total more than 20 times) but have not received any resolution. They keep raising false complains where the number that they provide to call back never works. I am extremely stressed and very tired of this treatment. I tried emailing them but havent received any respone on the email till date. Is there anyone who can look into the matter and get this sorted out....

              I'm a customer on Airtel Digital DTH since Dec 2008. Now i think i made a mistake by going to Airtel. My customer ID is [protected].Recently (24/06/10) i started getting lines on the pictures on all the channels.I lodged the complaint to customer care on the same day (complaint # 3135397). No follow up from customer care. Daily i used to follow up and get new complaint no.(last 3154889 dated 27/06/10). The customer care executive promised to get the problem resolved by 28/06/10.
              On 28/06/10, the engineer(ph [protected]) came and told adoptor is faulty. He was supposed to get the replacement in evening. In the evening another engineer(ph [protected]) came and fit the mis-matched adopator which made the set top box blank. He went to bring suitable adoptor and promised to come in an hour.But has not come and picking up the phone The problem has been aggravated and AIRtel engineers are not answering.

              Poor and reckless attitude from Airtel Digital, which was unexpected. Now i'm thinking to take action against them for the mental harassment.

[protected],a subscriber of Airtel digital tv ,in last month 25th may 2010, I reallocated my Digital TV to Satna from Indore and deinstall request was logged to your call centre from Indore,in 22 june,2010 I went to the local distribuor of Airtel named Hind Electronics ,(Till My Acconunt was suspended)and requested for installation but the distributor was suggesting that If I pay him 250 re. cash he can give me services for installation ,neither I would have to pay 300 re. to Airtel as service charges,for this I opposed him and told him that there are no rules as I know in Airtel to pay sevice charges in cash so I will install money to my a/c,then your distributor told me that after request from Airtel side he will perform the installation and I installed 500re. voucher in my A/c for the service fee and a/c activation,but they didn't come to our place to install the dish,at last I had to do it on my own ,and I had registered more then 4 requests regarding Service activation ,New Recharge ,and bad service related complaints with Complaint numbers 3134780,3147634,3157870,3165360 ,I am making more then 10 calls every day from the day these problem arised ,I am still getting error code

              Ipurchased an airtel dtv in feb 2010.my second recharge date was delayed by the local service provider in the month of june and i my account balance went negative and my services were disconnected.after two days my balance was renewed by the local service provider,but my services ware not resumed.

              I purchased settop box from Airtel with customer ID [protected] which was installed at my home on 07/06/2010. Right from the installation it was intermittently giving problems which used to get resolved after restarting the STB. The same was communicated to the local dealer without any action from his side.On 17/07/2010 I raised a compalin with Airtel customer care with service request no.3322295 that most of the channels are not coming. I was given a tel. no. and after making countless calls the technician turned up and took the STB for testing which was returned only after making again around 10 calls. The very next day I experienced the same problem which is continuing throghout the entire week till today (24/07/2010). There is absolutely no response from either Airtel or the service dealer. Now I am at my wits end and completely frustrated by the total apathy shown by this organisation.
              Distorted picture in channel colours,sony pix,MGM english for past 3 months.Reported to customer care during call recieved about new tariffs of economy pack.Assured by the same about rectification of defect at the earliest.

              I too having a Airtel DTH connection. I took it through the offer Rs.999/-. I selected south super value pack where they offered 112. I was happy that it had all the malayalam channels and one top up which i can select from the list. This list had Tamil, Kannada and Telugu. I was using it for around four months and one day i was not able to see few malayalam channels. I called up the Customer care and they said the channels which i am referring is part of malayalam top up. I could not understand and went and looked at the web site there it had 107 channels only instead of 112. I got what they did - they just removed few malayalam channels and created a new top up and says i have to pay for it. I told them that this is not what they offered me when i took this connection and how can u change it. But customer care guys were smart and says it is only having 107 channels. I got to escalate this issue to Airtel but i got it fixed twice but it goes back to the old situation again after a month. At this point i am not using it... don t waist your time with this CC guys. and all south indians go for Sun Direct where all the major channels are free...

              I was long nearly 2 years customer of airtel DTH, recently i shifted to new location and from there problem started, i called nearly 30 times customer care regrading shifting connection. after 30 called some support tech called me and told me coming next day, after 3 days he came and tried to install basically guy was unskill and dosent even know how to install and he let like, after again calling may time some tech came he told me all charges of re install would come around 1000 rps, i was ready to pay that but he too seems doesnt know how to install with internal wiring, i got pissed off and ask disconnection for 10 time till date nobody came, my account was 1000 rps rechage thats just keep on burning, Airtel DTH sucks, Finally i called dish tv and guy installed all connected on time as informed and now happy with Dish TV.

My question is when they know that I am getting signals from old satellite why they have deducted my money?
              On that day itself I requested to change the direction of dish antenna for which they informed me it would get resolved within 72 hours. After that day onwards, every day I get around 5 calls asking for information about which channels I want to add and informing that their engineer would come to my home to resolve the same. one Saturday(I didn't remember exact date) one engineer came to my home around 5:00 PM and he informed that I need to change the antenna to top of the building which takes time, so he informed me that he would come the following day. But unfortunately that didn't happened. Yesterday(3/5/2011) another engineer came and gave me the same reason. Kindly help me to get it solved.
              one good thing among this is that they have returned the deducted amount.

              AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Poor Services provided

              I one of the customer of Airtel Digital TV and My Customer ID is[protected]. On Friday I facing the video related problem, when i call the customer care number and discuss the problem then he reply we can't help you on this time because the technical problem and he say can you call after 1 hour, i say ok. but i call after 1 hour he reply same answer. I call for last 3 days in around 6 to 8 time, then he forward the my complaint on Sunday and he say your problem will be solve at tomorrow before 3.30 pm (Monday). he massage my complaint number and area engineer number i.e. mobile no.[protected]. In morning 11.00 am he pick up my call and he say my engineer reach around 2.00 pm in your home, but his engineer not come to my home, and I call the engineer in 4.00 pm he did not pick up the my call. this is second time, I facing this type of problem.
              Airtel digital TV ID No.[protected] has been developed technical problems since three weeks back and complaint to the airtel callcenter (Complaint No. 9514416), After repeated complaint to the concerned authorities and call centre for two weeks. The company sent a technician without bringing any instrument to fix the problems. He promised to come back with the instrument to fix the problem. But he did not turned up and there after again complaint to the nodal officer (Ph: No. [protected]) She told me that she will contact the concerned person for repairing. It is very regret to say that no person came to solve my problem till today. I hope the Airtel Digital TV will solve this problem shortly before I write more complaint in various net.

              I am very much regret to say that when i contacted to Dehra Dun Airtel Digital TV services, They told me to deposit Rs. 200 for fixing the problems which is being facing by me for atleast a month due to the reason being that the satellite position has changed and shift the dish to another location. So I think its not my fault. it is the duty of the company to provide me the service without disruption since I have paid the yearly charges to Airtel. so if the company did not fix the problem within few days. then I will stop my subscription and the company have to refund my money or I will have to get some legal advice. Although I have no interest in any legal action. But its my last option and i will be serious about it.

              I hope you will consider my matter seriously and take proper action against the defaulter so that the customer will not lost faith in the company.

              Airtel — Bad Service and Too many calls!!

              Hello sir,

              I am an Airtel broadband user and I have service issues for almost 6 months. Every 30 seconds, my internet connection gets disconnected. Since there is no resolution after repeated complaints, I decided to move to BSNL. I have raised the cancellation request on Dec 12th and got the service reference number 8679068.
              From this date onwards, I am getting around 1-2 calls every day asking me for the standard set of questions, even after repeatedly pleading to not disturb me.
              a) You have raised the cancellation request.
              b) What is the issue?
              c) We can resolve it today, if it is fine.

              I just want to make sure, these calls are stopped and the company should be made accountable and should be punished appropriately for all the unnecessary disturbance created to me.

              I changed my package to South Value which has a free package with Vasanth TV & Captain TV. I complained on 15th Feb and the call centre people replied that the satillite need to be changed and will send a engineer withing 5 working days. After 5 working days no one turned up. When call centre is contacted they registered one more complaint and after 5 working days again no one turned up. I asked the call centre people if I can talk to higher officials, they denied. Not sure what to do here!

              1. Even aftre one makes payment you have to RUN aftre them for 15 - 20 days to enable set top box and activate
              2. Being a 1.5 year customer , paide annual ULyra pack, yet when my balance was going to 0 no intimation was sent to recharge
              3. I check with the call center but they refused to loge complaint
              4. One fine day they just CUT the channels and blank out saying NO balance
              5. Poor call center staff who refuse to loged complaint and do not give complaint ID.
              6. Try calling theior customer care and even if you have loads of patience please be prepared to call 10-15 times while you get dicconnected and then when you are In the call they will not have any details of the call logged in front of them in their CRM system . poor systems
              7. No use sending them email at their customer care mail address.. u will gte a auto reply and no respoinse!

              If you want to purchase Digital pack PLEASE IGNORE Airtel.

              I am one of the person who is suffering from the harassment of Airtel DTH services.

              I recharged my DTH last week, since that day my DTH has never worked. Whenever I called Customer Care to lodge compliant, Customer Care says that their System is down or it is upgrading, they never answer you properly, they keep call on hold for several minutes. The day from where, I am facing problem, no single Engineer has visited my place.

              Airtel must see, what they are doing. They are spoiling their image which will lead them to loose their business as well.

              I would say, Airtel is a worst service provided. I would suggest you all, better to switch Tata sky or Dish TV...

              Hi All,

              There was no sisgnal in my digital tv and we raised a complaint for an engineer visit , which was comited to resolve within 24hrs.
              My req no. was 20208642. Inspite of following up more than 5 times in a day no engineer visited my place.

              Then we received a call from the callcenter after asking them to disconnect the connection ,again they asked us to wait for the next day. Most surprisingly they opened a new request (Req no.[protected] since they have to close the req within 24 hrs so that they dont breach their SLA's.
              and to show that they are providing an exceptional service.
              After this its for sure that I 'am not going to retain my Airtel Digital connection in near future. As for all these engineer visits we are the one who have to pay 100 Rs per visit.
              I dont recommend any one to opt for Airtel Digital. All the commitments and endorsements are false.

              There was no SIGNAL error code B001 with some of my channels and we raised a complaint for an engineer visit. This coincedentally happened after the system automatically installed an upgrade and it was comited to be resolved within 24hrs.

              I'm still waiting for service engineer today when i called i was told they wil charge Rs. 100. For no fault of mine im not sure why im being charged.

              complaint lodged four times since last three month they said that your disc is in balcony so that you have to shift it to the top roof then only you can view clear image we did as they advise but till today we are not able to view t v because images as well as 98% channels are blocked and only two channels are coming with no image.

              whenever at any time complain in toll free no they said computer up dation is there so you have to call after two hour and same they repeat each day two three times but not specify time and do not lodge complaint no one has only one work to wait and again and again do same thing.

[protected], i call the airtel service for reinstallation, they connect everything but could not get the signal, so they say that my set up box has burn down and promise to exchange with the new box. but tomo i wait for them and call many times but they say they ll come at 10am 12pm 2pm and so on. they give one no. to call and that guy ll give another no. they keep on rotating the no. but they did not take any steps. so i went to the centre directly to check set up box but no problem in my box.and i went home and check again but its the same with no signal, the day passed again. the next day i keep calling them, they say airtel service ll come at 12 2pm 4pm and at last they just rejected my call without any response.

                  Even though I have cleared my previous bill amt of RS Rs.4011/- as informed by customer care saying that the huge amt of bill was due to the setting problem in my hand set.I have checked the same and from their technical team and made to the default air tel setting.

                  After making these changes yet I have receive bill amt of RS 4013 again.Their is some serious illegal activity is going in air tel after the introduction of 3g for a 3G enable handset.Air-tel has blindly charging their customer and their is no good service.Law man can not understand the settings of air tel for which we will get discounts.All of sudden air tel has increased my credit limit to rs 8000 from 2500 which was not asked by me.I was informed to intimate any changes by air tel for increasing my credit limit or my bill amt.Their is no conformation for both of them.

                  When checked with other services provider i got to know that their is no setiing issue for browsing in mobile.Their is only one default configuration.This is only in airtel for which they have to many configuration such as Mobile office,air tel ,air tel in.

                  Please help me out of this situation as this mental toucher from Airtel is affecting my life in all the manners. I requested Airtel to clear off the dues on grounds of humanity and the past records I had with them.

                  I was an Airtel user for past 3 years and my mobile number was +91 [protected] which was a corporate connection. I got a call from customer care saying that air tel has recently launched 3g for better speed in internet usage.I told them to activate this for this month after taking a clarification that the bill will be charged on prorate basis.

                  My credit limit is only 2500 per month and this April 2011 i received a bill of Rs.4011.On calling to customer care they confirmed that this high amount in the bill is for my high usage of internet .I was not having any clue why the data usage was so high after activation for this 3g.Even though my credit limit is only for 2500 i didn't get any sms or call form air tel that the credit limit is exceed 2500.Now Airtel is harassing me to pay the amount of 6000/- which is no point in it as there is no intimation of the credit usage.

                  Please help me out of this situation as this mental toucher from Airtel is affecting my life in all the manners. I requested Airtel to clear off the dues on grounds of humanity and the past records I had with them.

                  There is no necessary to call .Any thing you that you want to prove you can directly mention in this forum.These air tel people will call and say that they want to maintain these chargers by saying all invalid reasons and close these case without giving any proofs.I[censored] want to prove any this kindly mention the same in writing.

                    I got an Airtel Digital TV recorder for Diwali last year and its been having issues right from the day of purchase. After repeated emails to customer care (who don't understand any other language other than Hindi), they replaced my dish and box and it was fine for sometime. Recently they sent an engineer home and they changed the dish. I think they took the 1 that was working fine, coz this one's too bad. I spent almost 4k for this recorder. I think there's no point in writing to Airtel anymore, I'll throw this box and get something else. (Airtel is spoiling its own reputation that it earned in the mobile industry, by entering into Digital TV)
                    I surrendered my digital TV recorder DVR last month. Tech came to my house and took the DVR away, I've an acknowledgement too. I am still getting calls from Airtel IVR for low balance in my account. I am getting atleast 10 calls everyday from Airtel IVR.

                                I have been using Airtel IPTV service for last eight months but last month IPTV service did not work for aronud 15 days(from 2-June-2011 to 15-June-2011). i contacted customer care person and registered lot of complaints regarding this but always got a respnse like sir it will take either 1 or 2 more days to make it correct that never happened until 15th. i was assured by Customer Care representative that i would not be charged for this inconvinience but in last month bill(10/05/2011 to 09/06/2011) charges were there for complete month.

                                Not only this, in the begning of this month , i did shifting of my house so requested to shift my connection also to new location. i was told it would take 3 working days to shift the connection. My request was on 1st July and i was asked to wait till 4th July...
                                When someone did not come till 4th, i called Customer Care again for this problem but never got an affirmative answer. after making many calls regarding this they told me that it is not possible in my area as pair for IPTV is not available.
                                This could be informed to me a lot earlier which could save a lot of time. again this time they told me that you will not be charged for this period of time (01/07/2011 to 06/07/2011).
                                Then I tried to get only the broadband connection of airtel only for internet. next day i got response and executive came to my house within 15 hours.
                                they found IPTV connection can be done on my place and they did the proper wiring finally.
                                As you know sir, this is a compititive market and problems to customer like this does not take much time to divert to some other service provider.This was not at expected from a big company like airtel. is this the way you treat your customer? to make a new connection, it didnt take 1 day but to provide service to your regular customer, you find it difficult to fix in like half month.

                                I am a Customer of airtel for last 5 years either in the terms of celluler service or IPTV service. It was really a frustrating experience for me. Next time i would really think before taking any service from Airtel.

                                It would be highly appreciated if you understand my problems and be a comany of your words. I hope this month BILL will be as per your customer care representative assurance.

                                  I have never requested for radio service, besides I have been complaining so many times, still no action is taken by airtel - are you people taking the complaints seriously or not? Every time you people deduct money saying radio charges or whatever, the request is never raised by me. I had personally requested Mr. Rakesh regarding this issue; I think he is not taking it seriously. Even last time my money was not credited into my account.
                                  I believe it is high time now to change the subscriber. I am currently roaming (not in my native state), the moment I reach my native state, my first preference would be to change the subscriber from airtel to something else.
                                  how can one talk to the airtel customer care people instead of answering to a computerised voice which cannot take into account the other problems??
                                  i've been charged 10 every week for some ridiculous music pack to which i have not subscribed. this is more of an extortion from airtel as i've been losing 10 rs per week for the past few months and i could'nt make out i was getting charged since the confirmation that i got charged comes several hours later after the message appears .

                                      I have given a request for MNP from BSNL to Airtel on[protected], but till date[protected] it has not been donoe. I was told from Airtel that this will take 15 days of time. Its been more than 7 Weeks now and there is no progress. I went to the Airtel Showroom, where i was told that BSNL have to first disconnect my number and only then Airtel can transfer the number. Then I visited BSNL showroom, where i was told that until Airtel gives an Acceptance letter to BSNL stating that Airtel is accepting me as there customer, BSNL cannot do anything. .
