i have get BSNL broadband connection on 21 dec2008 for 750 home unlimited plane .and in jan 31 2009 i appilied for plane change to 250 home plane the officer recieved application and say that the plane was change from feb1 2009. and then in afternoon they call on my bsnl telephone no.[protected] that they were unable to chang my plane because i have take bb on dec so plane cannot change .then in feb2009 the plane is 750 home unlimited .and then in mar2009 they were change plane without notifing me so i had use bb as 750 unlimited plane and in 16 april 2009 bill was came with post then i know what the bill is about 49000 so i complaint to bsnl office but they not responding me and told that your plan should change in march as 250 home plane as you given the application on 31jan 2009 .how they can change the plane on my rejected application . please help me and give any idea what to do.

BSNL — Too high bill

About one year ago I got the bsnl internet connection home 500c [1.5 GB limit] plan on my pc.. The monthly charges were OK for 4-5 months but then my bill came out to be Rs. 1700 rather than 500.. The next month Rs 1984.. I complained to the bsnl office but who cares...Then I swithed on to the unlimited plan but the speed was very slow...So then I changed to 2.5 GB plan..But now again the bil is more than Rs. 2000.but should be about Rs. 600....Please help me ... or I may be forced to change my internet connection from bsnl to some other...but to which one please help me.........

    I bought this NIC from district jammu and the device is not working properly. it remains connected but there is no data transfer at all. moreover, thee are no BSNL officials to attend to the complaints. I dont know where to go and whom to approach.

    BSNL — WLL NIC NOT WORKING PROPERLY

    HELLO SIR,
    I PURCHES BSNL WLL NIC FROM JUNAGADH DISTRICT OF GUJRAT.
    OFFICER OF BSNL TOLD THAT IT WILL GIVE SPEED MORE THEN ANY OTHER DATA CARD.
    BUT IT IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY DATA OF OTHER COMPANY LIKE RELIANCE OR TATA GIVE MORE SPEED AND WORK PROPERLY AS COMPARE TO THIS BSNL NIC.
    THERE IS PROBLEM IN UPLODING OF FILE AND SANDING IT EVEN OF 20 KB SIZE WHERE AS SAME FILE CAN BE UPLODED EASILY IN OTHER SERVICE PROVIDER LIKE RELIANCE AND TATA AT SAME OR AT LOWER SPEED.
    What they say is that we are getting 144kbps. Not 144KBPS. U can check ur speed using any download accelerators. 144 kbps means 1byte=8bits. Here they writes the 144kbps where kbps is in small letters. That is we will get only 1/8 of it. So the maximum speed of 12 to 20KBPS. The only advantage is that they are providing unlimited usage.
    They are only providing speed upto 20KBPS maximum. Sometimes that speed will also get reduced to 2 to 5 KBPS. This is very bad.

    2. As per Bill No skt GG00339 DATED 04 Sep 2001 security deposit Rs. 2000/- was paid by me for taking new connection. Since my line has been disconnected and not in the directory I now request you to kindly pass needed order to refund my security deposit as early as possible.             BSNL — BSNL Landline and broadband not working for last 2 weeks

            My telephone[protected] is not working for the last 2 weeks i have lodged a complaint through the bsnl customer portal on 7th august 2008 (reference no[protected] and from then on i'm repeatedly calling toll free no 198 to register complaints everyother day...but till date the problem is not rectified the latest complaint reference for 198 is (MYPR17200)

            I tried to reach the local BSNL office no 23045025 but its out of order.

            BSNL — Internet is not working for last 3 days

            Internet Broadband connection at # 2474, 17th main, 25th cross. Banashankari 2nd stage is not working since last 3 days. Despite repeated complaints and visits to the BSNL office K R Road no action has been taken by the department. Very poor service of the BSNL department. They are not even picking up the mobile number that they have given

            I have a BSNL Broadband connection it is not working from last ten days and i am calling the call centre repeteadly, I have also submitted a written application to the Area Manager South Jaipur yesterday but still no improvement has been done and it was also not working for more than 20 days in the last month. I am now fed up with the service provider and the way of talking of the employees of the company, they talk to the people in a very ill manner. Please someone help.

            BSNL Broadband — Broadband internet not working

            HI,

            We are not able to use BSNL broadband even 10 days in a month. We already lodge complaint many times but there is no solution. If BSNL is not able to provide services they must not charge customer for that service. There is not a single responsible person in BSNL office of our area, visit to BSNL office is waste of time and money.               Complaint about Landline Telephone:

              Sound is not audible. Loud noice. There are many joints in the wire connecting my phone and underground cable. This is the condition for many years. Submitted many complaints. The authorities asked us to give complaints. As we are busy we are unable to go from offices to offices giving complaints. I request the authorities to take prompt action.

              Complaint about Broadband:

              I've applied for broadband connection 2 months before. Then I was told that I've got the first priority to get the connection. Till now I haven't got the connection. On enquiry I got the answer that I would get it soon. I request the authorities to look into the matter.

              BSNL/phone&broadband — delay for phone and broadband

              Sir,

              My name is S. Gunaranjithamary. i applied BSNL phone and broadband connection. i paid 500rs 9th aug 2008. they said they will come and give the connection within a week. but now today 13th sep. but still they did not give any connection. i dont know the reason why they are doing like this.
              I am in Maduravoyal. here maduravoyal exchange no response for everything. they did not refund the money also. i applied one agency.

                Past 3 months am using BSNL Broadband. At 1st month am using Home 250 plan. on that month i have d bill Rs.784 i pay Bill. 2nd month am change the scheme to Home Combo 500. on that month am get the bill around Rs.2500. Am disappoint to see that much of amount. when am ask to customer care they told Rs.500 For Deposite, Rs.1000 for My 1st n 2nd month rental, another Rs.1000 for my Usage. I don't Know How it will be happen. Then Why am pay Rs.784 for 1st month bill

                Respected Sir,

                My Telephone and Broadband connection[protected] is under the Plan HOME 500C . My plan has unlimited free data usage Between 02:00 AM and 08:00 AM . When I receieved the bill for the month of July 2009 I found that the data used between 02:00 AM and 08:00AM under the free usage has been charged under the chargeable units on certain dates. The usage records provided by you clearly indicates that the data usage between[protected]:35:18PM and[protected]:35:39AM has been charged under the chargeable units. The usage should have been properly segregated between the free and chargeable data timings.

                Please verify your records and revise my Bill, which has been charged with the free data usage, at the earliest as my pay by date is 28 Aug 2009.

                Please avoid any future errors of the same kind as this seems to be a problem with your software.
                I had applied for BSNL broadband plan change on June 26, 2009 from my existing 250 limited plan to 750 unlimited plan on 1500 at call center. They had given me a request number viz. 313616 and assuring me of change of plan within 8 days. Unfortunately, the plan did not change due to some technical reasons and I was told to visit exchange or customer care for the same. Upon visiting I was told it has been activated. Unfortunately, I received the bill of July as per old plan which turned out to be huge and upon inquiry was told due to some technical problems it has been activated YET.


                Upon inquiry at customer care i was informed to change my existiting telephone plan to get 750 unlimited plan, information of which is not provided on their Teriff Card, instead it is clearly said on Teriff Card under 750 unlimited "with existing plan of telephone." The officer was not ready so I applied for 500 limited plan, this time directly at the customer care office at Bhawani Peth, Pune. I was assured of change within two days, to my fate, did not happen even after five days. I went to customer care, contacting another officer, who fortunately was very cooperative, informed me that i can get 750 unlimited and finally I got 750 plan activated.

                My question is why there are diversity of opinions?

                Unfortunately, till I got my unlimited plan half of it has been already two months. I am worried about my August Bill, as I got to know this all mess in August after I received Bill of July.

                I want to know can my bill be reconstituted and restructured.

                BSNL announces no installation charges (installation charge free) for new broadband and landline connections in march 2012. I applied broadband and landline connections in march 2012 and got the connections under customer id [protected]. BSNL charged not only installation charges for broadband and landline but also service tax @ 12.36% instead of 10.3%.

                    I am BSNL Pre Paid Mobile user o[censored]ttaranchal circle. My mobile no is [protected]. BSNL Radio services is started FORCELY on my mobile. I want to stop this service immediately, many times I tried through BSNL cutomer care but they were not able to stop this service and also were not able to give satisfactory answer and said that this radio service is not operated by BSNL & are not responsible for this facility, This is some Private sector service & asked me to contact at 126300.When I contacted at 126300 there is not option to stop this facility and no provision to talk personaly at this number and only computor generated voices are heard.This number(126300) is also not toll free. Rupees 10/ -per minute charghes to be paid by me to BSNL.I have sent to SMS at 126300 and BSNL customer care service to stop this facility. PLEASE.

                    KINDLY STOP THIS SERVICE ON MY MOBILE IMMEDIATELY.

                    This is Rajendra Singh from vill - Mani Dhami, po- Mawani Dawani, Dist- Pithoragarh (UA), My complaint about the BSNL Mobile tower. Which is located in the vill - Baram, Thats communication range only 1km. This cause others neighbors villagers are not avails the benefit of the BSNL mobile service. If to increase the rage of communication about 7-8 km many village(thousands people ) of the valley takes benefits of the comn. There are No Land line Phone. WLL but it always not reachable.

                    Sir, I am the army person, I hope next time i will talk to my family by phone. it is not my problem all the valley personals.

                    So please sir may I request to Increase the communication range of The tower.

                      I am using a 256 kbps connection on unlimited download and upload scheme for my phone no 23193794. I am being charged a fixed fee of 990 irrespective of the downtime. In August my Broadband was disconnected from 8th to the 23rd and I received a bill of 990 for the whole months usage and now again this month my broadband has been disconnected since the 2nd till date however I am sure I will get a bill of 990. I raised this with customer service who have been giving me the run around asking me to contact the Accounts Manager who doesnt seem to exist. I went to the BSNL office near Navrang circle and from there I was asked to go to the bill payment center opposite to Navrang theater who asked to go to the Magadi Road office who said I have to go the Navrang office again. I called up customer care and they dont know who the Accounts Manager is, I called up the number on my bill which says please contact Account Manager and they said they dont know either, I even called up the broadband technical support and they dont know either. This is like going in circles. I have now finally given up the chase and decided I will not pay the bill unless someone gets the unused amount off of my phone bill. Please help.

                        Our BSNL landline phone no[protected] is not working when there is no power in our area ,regading this I have complented to all the authorities ,and every person is saying that the phone works in DC but not in AC , Although I convinced them regarding this problem and said them to visit our home when there is power failure, Some people visited our home when there was no power and they observed the problem and still they are not able to rectify the problem ,We are facing this problem since last 6 monts and daily I am giving complent to exchage regarding this.

                          I am a subscriber of BSNL Land Line + Broadband combo plan vide telephone no – 0120 – 2490863 at Noida, Sector -55.
                          Since the beginning my Broadband is not very stable and recurring problem are facing. I have lodged complain number of time vide docket no : 1198432, 1328715, 1342672 … but no result. Though my telephone is working but there are some noise and disturbance are presence.
                          I am really fade-up and don’t know where and whom to approach. Every month my broadband rental is coming though I am not able to access internet.
                          Kindly treat this is my official complain and forward this to respective person.

                            My cellphone no. is [protected] (BSNL) I have complain that i send internations sms to my friends at Indonasia and UAE but mostly that sms never reach to my friends, and till today i was debited about Rs. 50 , when i call customer care on 29.10.09 they did not give me setisfaction reason and disconnect phone 2 times without saying anything, than i leave voice massage also

                                  Thanks for update . I am having some problem as below so please try to resolve .

                                  While filling the CAF the agent has charged me 1500/- and promised to provide the universal remote and Scratch card offer. But how ever later he has confirmed it is not possible but I can pay the differential amount of RS 500/- to avail the offer.
                                  Some of the channels are not coming like ND TV imagine , 9X,UTV movies ,UTVI business news (These all are mentioned in PAMPLET) and also informed that now the channels nuber are increased to 140. (if required I will provide you the scan copy also).
                                  Movies on demand is obsuletly free for 3 months also mentioned but it is not coming.
                                  By seeeing the above offer our family has decided to go for myway entertainment jab chaho jo chaho , So please try to provide the above things for fulfilling the promised service while taking the connection.

                                  I have given a request on 9th Sept 2009 to get an IP tv connection and till date I have not got connection for home entertainment through IP TV . After repeated follow up I got response on 25th Sept that I need an type II modem from BSNL and immediately I made the necessary arrangement for the same. After that I received the message from your technical department that due to technical limitation this will not work-out, however after a long fight the technical department and also Mr Sridhar Karnataka head of operation has given us a commitment that they will solve the long pending issue and do the installation before 3rd October 2009. But there is no response from the team on this matter and when I tried calling them on their phone number not a single response come.



                                  Please look in to the matter seriously as this is almost near to a month that With the hope of IP TV I am without any home entertainment in my home.

                                  Note to BSNL and My Way :- Please letus know why BSNL has not provided the port for the right band width as it ia a integrated part of BSNl.



                                  The cost incurred to me for the IP TV and Follow up



                                  IP TV Advance 1500

                                  BSNL type II modem 1600/-

                                  and Phone call charges around 300/-



                                  Grand Total :- RS 3200/- and all my valuable time wasted for convcersation with IP TV .

                                  MyWay IP TV services — No Proper response and information

                                  my name is vinod. I am from Hyderabad. I have received a call from Myway IP TV services stating that BSNL and MYway together started IP TV services which would be through BSNL line. One of the executives did came to my home to explain me how it works. He informed me that the whole setup will take 5 days. I gave him a check of 1500 rs. on 18th May. from then onwards. no proper response.
                                  I keep calling them on after every 5 days. they keep tellig me next 2 days.

                                  now the no. given by them stoped working. I some how found the customer care contact no :[protected]. called them lots of times now. even their corporate office. stil no luck.
                                  Amount was deducted frm my ICICI account on 26th June. till date no solution neither proper update.

                                  I wanted IP TV connection at my home in Chennai. I wrote to MY WAY. There were many phone calls telling me they are ready to give connection. Then 2-3 different firms [?] called me & asked when they can collect cheque [Rs 1500 or Rs 2000 depending on what we choose]. Nobody talked about connectivity but only to take cheque from me. BSNL did not come in the picture altho I wrote to them for connectivity. I would have given the cheque & would have been lingering for connectivity. Luckily I read this blog & immediately cancelled my plan to have IP TV. Everybody should contemplate well before parting with the cheque or cash

                                  I got IPTV myway connected.Before connection I was told that universal remote and scratch card and that there will be free trial for 3 months and that during this period the movie on demand is free.I regret to say that not only the technician who installed the connection disrupted my Wify service of internet but having promised to set right the same did not turn up and several phone call to their personal Sunil the man who is supposed to have rectified it as per promise did not do so.
                                  No universal remote supplied nor scratch card as promised.
                                  Now I got further shock of my life when they told I have to pay additional charges for having used Movie on demand (though it should be free during trial offer 3 months).
                                  Many false promise and disappointing service.I think of not renewing the service and hope other customers learn from my bad experience.

                                  A fewdays back we agreed to go ahead with the IPTV free 3 months offer. We gave our consent, after confirming whether the locality we were staying (JP Nagar 9th Phase) had the appropriate infrastructure to offer such services.

                                  A cheque for Rs. 1500/- to this effect (Prepaid CAF No: 10032149 Dated: 26/02/10
                                  ) was also promptly collected by the service providers. The next day there were atleast 3 phone calls from these gyus to keep the existing ADSL modem switched on to enable some remote configuration. We were supposed to have the necessary things delivered a day later but none tuned up.

                                  When we tried to check the delay, we are told that due to technical difficulties such a service cannot be provided to this locality and the cheque will be returned back after 15 days

                                  These people have turned out to be laughing stock. Didn't expect this from BSNL though.SHAME!

                                  Fortunately the money has not been debited from the bank account. A stop payment also comes with a cost. Prefer waiting. We are not going to keep quit though, if the debit happens in the coming days.

                                  We had expressed our concern earlier during the day (a few hrs back).

                                  We got the cheque (Rs.1500/- deposit) back immediately, just two hours after we called them for inaction. They had expressed a 15 day waiting period earlier. Probably this waiting period holds good if the amount was debited from our account. Fortunately that didn't happen with us.

                                  If the concerned authorities did their homework before calling customers, these displeasures can be avoided though. Let me suppose these are stray cases. All the best guys.

                                  I am also a victim of this BSNL/myway iptv nexus/mafia or whatever you call it, from Bangalore. My Consumer No.is 42429190. Promising a free trial of 3 months, they were successful in collecting Rs.1500/- as security Deposit and the service was provided only after encashment of the cheque and that's too after clear 10 days.

                                  However, since I did not obliged them with subscription after witnessing their poor service/relay, the services were discontinued within a week without any reason what soever.

                                  Since I have failed to evoke any response and get the refund of Rs.1500/- even after a lapse of 4-5 months, I am contemplating with the idea of slapping a notice through consumer court and drag them to consumer court for causing the financial loss and mental agony for these days.

                                  I had a connection which is not functioning from the very first day.
                                  Though it is not not used, they ask for the recharge with several phone calls.
                                  If we ask for assistance or to dismantle the connection and refund the deposit they give a number which does not respond, or responds by giving another number.There is absolutely no solution to anything but passing the buck on one another.
                                  I feel it is fake.
                                  My sincere advice is not to opt for this by anybody and get cheated.

                                  I had taken a connection which is not connect till date, because one technecal person like electrician, he can not do this connection. After this I am repetedly calling and get in touch to them but till now nobody has physically attened my call.

                                    I have applied BSNL broadband connection in the first week of July 2009 at BSNL office(Thudiyalur - Coimbatore). Last 13.07.09 the BSNL representative installed the modem in my computer. He was not connected to the server, just he gave the user name and password.When i was tried on the same day it was not working. Immediately i was complained to the customer care. So far they were not rectified the error. I was complained for the past 6 days, but there is proper response from the BSNL side. They said simply your connection was pending. I don't know what is the next step. Please guide me and do the needful.

                                    My Broadband service is very slow. It takes hours to open the internate service. Please help.
                                    Same with me. BSNL guy gave me user name and password but DSL line is not OK.
                                    I cannot connect for the last onemonth.

                                    I have called the complaints hot line several times but they say that only exchange guys can correct the problem.

                                    BSNL has absolutely no focus on customer satisfacation, had it been Airtel they would come running and solved it.

                                    I am thinking of giving up the connection

                                        I am a resident of Vivekananda Nagar, Kukatpally having a BSNL landline phone with number[protected].
                                        My phone line is not clear since many months and I have raised the complaint umpteen number of times. I even met the concerned person in Vivekananda Nagar exchange personally but could get only promises in return.
                                        I would request the concerned authorities to look into this matter urgently.

                                        BSNL — Not clear

                                        Our bsnl,pune landline no. is 27172502, not clear, can hear double sound wires get detached frequently and coversation becomes very difficult. Requests for repairing several times has been noted down in the register ( lineman) has been informed it is high time there is no response as such ,

                                        BSNL — NETWORK NOT CLEAR

                                        I have converted from Reliance to BSNL through MNP. The problem I'm facing is, though the Network Signal of BSNL is showing full but I still get disconnected between calls, sometimes the voice breaks sometimes people complain that they cannot reach me on phone etc. Earlier Reliance had no problems at all but I was determined to go for BSNL as I thought to be the best provider. I'm also using BSNL landline and never had any problem with it till now. But mobile service is really annoying. I hope this would be sorted soon else I'll change back to Relaince again. Any help on this is appreciated. Thanks.
