Applied for Combo package on 26th July 2008 for new connection at 2nd Street, Modern Park, SantoshPur, Kolkata - 75.

Yet to get the connection.

I contacted the concerned Divisional Engineer (Ranikuthi Office) several times, only to hear that the region is still not feasible and there are technical problems. They yet to do a survey.

My question is, is the nation's largest telecom service provider so much helpless and TECHNICALLY HANDICAPPED, that they are not able to solve the problem even after FIVE MONTHS ????

What better service can we expect post connection ??

    my 750+ plan has started from 1 dec.but instead of getting 256 kbps speed my speed is that od dial up that is 50 kbps and downloading rate id 6.48 kbps.i live in bikaner.while my uncle took same plan in jaipur and geeting speed of 256 kbps.wat should i do.i hv also complaint it from bsnl office but they cant do anything

    BSNL — BSNL Broadband not connecting so many times, No update for data usage, slow speed

    BSNL Broadband does not connect so many times, if connects then it is so slow. BSNL does not provide appropriate speed. Also their portal is never updated for data usage. Is there any legal way to complain against BSNL? Please reply to [protected]@yahoo.co.in

    BSNL Broadband — Very Unprofessonal

    My telephone was disconnected due to non-payment. It is 2 weeks after i have paid my Telephone bill- TEl No[protected] and the telephone is re-connected but my Broadband internet is not re-connected. They have given me some numbers to call and enquire. it keeps ringing and no-body answers to it,. once in a while if some one answers they say they are not that department and give another number. Try calling the new number-- again in the same loop, no-body answers the call and finally some one lifts and just answers that the concerned person is not available at that point of time. This has been happening for the past 2 weeks consistantly
    since I have activated my broadband from Dehuroad section it is not properly working yet once. There is too slow speed I am experiencing even as compare to dial up(16.0 kbps)

    The unlimited plan provided by the company does ensure an internet speed of 256 kbps but the download speed (max) is 41 kBps and upload speed (max) is 50 kBps ????

    BSNL employees are [censored]s. Their main aim is to get their hefty salary and enjoy with their family. These fools are not thinking that this is public money. It is high time to kick out these irresponsible people.
    Well am facin the same type of problem too, thease bsnl people sayin that they are providin speed upto 2mbps.. but am really shoked that my airtel mobile was much faster then this bsnl, thease bsnl ppl providin me speed upto 10kbps...!

    Home 500 combo — Speed is very slow

    The download speed am currently getting is only 25 Kb/s, sometimes it also goes to 1 Kb/s. Am experiencing this for last 2 weeks. Why such a slow speed rate. Pls try to resolve ASAP.

    i live in vasundhra, ghaziabad, and i have been using bsnl broadband service for tha last 3 years but these days its not working properly. the internet is very slow and some time disconnect because of that i loose the whole data. plz look after this, i will be really thankful to you

    I'm using 256kbps unlimited, but too slow. The average speed is 12kbps. I often lodge a complaint in the customer service and they promise to send a technicien but they never send. for this I pay thousand and thousand for nothing.

    i completely agree with the above complaints. i got my connection few days back- Home 500 c+. i m so much fed up with BSNL system. firstly it took me 1 and a half month to get connection. the line man put the wires loose...believe me then i got it done my self. the modem takes minutes to start... the server often doesnt get connected...during day hours speed is ok... but in night hours it sucks...(3-6kbps...can even go to few bytes/sec)... what can i get from the SO CALLED BROADBAND is to view text pages with some flash...

    In single sentance- "BSNL- Worst Service ever".
    BSNL is just can be said good for landline ONLY(that too worst in Landline complaints and services). Worst mobile service, worst internet service, worst customer care support, and ofcourse worst of worst billing..
    BSNL can be said as intelligents becaus thay thing that we customers are fools. Before it wer 250rs to 500rs plans for usage of 1gb and 2gbs per month with speeds 250kbps. For that the sped will be ok. but the monthly charge will go around[protected]rs. Now these BSNL [censored]s introduced 750(they say speed is 256kbps) and 1350(they say speed is 512kbps) unlimited download plans. But for this the speed is just not even 30 to 40kbps, even worst than BSNL dial up network. Wat the [censored] they think they are.. And thay say thay are top in internet services.
    These money minded assshits should change the name from 'broadband to dial up' for 750 and 1350 plans and all unlimited plans..
    In India possibly BSNL is the only service which stays in everyones mind and almost everyones homes. But also in India, BSNL is the only service which 'lacks customers satisfaction'.. WORST...

    My connection also in slow speed sometimes 40 kb/s how could solve this problem what is the best way for BSNL to prove they are the best in Indian Broadband service the TATA Land line also in up coming compitator for BSNL I think BSNL will take challenge with it.
    I see responses from many angry BSNL customers. I am posting this comment over a BSNL broadband connection. My personal experience with BSNL is very positive. Airtel, Reliance and Tata Indicom guys had earlier refused to give me broadband connection mentioning they will need to draw 2 kms of cable for me. However BSNL was equipped well to give this connection. I love BSNL.

    Hello buddies, , , , , , , I have gone through ur complaints mentioned above but my Experience with bsnl from last 1 yr is too good. I'm using bsnl 1 GB plan from jaipur n it is providing me the speed the ISP has metioned, truly I love BSNL.
    256 is a surfing speed and download speed is always 8 times slower than it.
    but we need more speed for downloading big files
    u cant use such software like speed up net or anything because the bandwidth is fixed to 256 kbps

    Service provided by BSNL is very poor and the response is not at all good. BSNL is providing free download free 2 to 8 am but the speed at this time very bad. Actually home plan is having speed of 250, which they should provide, but the speed i am getting is only 40 maximum.

    broadband 250H — SLOW SPEED

    when I had your product 125 H the spee of broad band was quite high, I use to talk and view my children easily on webcam .the communication was quite satishfactory.
    but since Igot the PLAN -250 H, the communication became very difficult, I have to close my webcam for voice communication

    Sir, I applied for broadband connection on the landline no.[protected] on 5th Feb, 2009 and got connection on 17th Feb 2009. But the speed is very slow (about 20KBps). I hope the matter will be looked into as soon as possible.
    THE DOWNLOAD SPEED FOR HOME 750 PLAN IS UPTO 33KBPS.FOR HOME 500C THE SPEED IS ABOUT 200 KBPS.I USED HOME 750 PLAN FROM NOVEMBER 2008 TO FEBRUARY 2009.BUT I DON'T STATISFIED ABOUT THE SPEED(DOWNLOADING).I SWITCHED MY PLAN TO HOME 500C.IT IS VERY USEFUL.THE ONLY THING IS WE HAVE TO SEE THE DATA USAGE FOR DAY TIME VERY CAREFULLY.I THINK HOME 500C IS USEFUL BECAUSE IN HOME 750 IT TAKES TIME TO COMPLETE 700MB IN AND ABOVE 6 HOURS.BUT IN HOME 500 IT TAKES BETWEEN 1 TO 1.40 HRS.SO I THINK HOME 500 IS BETTER FOR ALL.

    From the day i got BSNL broadband, i havenot made downloads at the speed of 2MBPS as per the plan 500c* homeplan says and my telephone number is[protected].. I hereby asking officials to take immediate action on it .Thank you!
    Bsnl is a waste connection. It works better only for 1 week. Then its the worst damid.

    I was using HOME 500C and i was getting download speed upto 250kbps.Then i Switched to Unlimited 750 and it really very very very very SLOWWWWWWWW... Even i cant open GMAIL... Dono wat these ppl are doing in their cabins. Earlier in HOME 500c i used to download a 5mb file in 5 secs.. No it takes 10-15 mins... If anyone knows the solution plzzzzz replay!!!

    I applied for new broadband connections few days back after that I also deposited the fees of the said but now my exchange people i.e.exchange Talab Tillo Jammu are saying to me that they don't have the said modem and they are also short of port.The bottom line is that they are just giving the lame excuses and infact how much BSNL authorities predict that they are changing but the thing they are still same Insane .

    BSNL Broadband — Unusual Slow Speed

    I have been subscriber to my Broadband Line 25319858, BSNL Broadband 250 home Plan for last one year and converted to 500 home plan with unlimited download facility since 1 April 2009.

    But it is very unfortunate and unexpected that since then its speed has come down to alarming low range not even You Tube Tube pages being opened. Even very often, normal pages are not opened. Simltaneously I also have a private line Alliance Broadband which is far better and speedy than BSNL Broadband. I was of opinion that had I been successful with the BSNL Broadband, I cud have left Alliance Broadband.

    But it is really dissappointing and ridiculous that BSNL Broadband's such unprecedented slow seed is a matter of serious concern to me.

    I Faced Same Problem at all. I think We must compaint against the BSNL Broadband TO THE CONSUMER FORUM. They Prommise to 256 Kpbs (799 Plan) Speed. They must gave at least 156 Kpbs.
    mine bsnl(500c broadband plan)at the beginning (oct-dec 08) download speed was 200-350 kbps in day time and in free download time i.e 2a.m - 8a.m it was arround 100-150kbps n i was very much satisfied...
    but now its damn slow in day time 50-70 kbps and during free download time its horrible just 2-15kbps...
    this is a serious problem... from jan-april 2009 i may have just downloaded around 20-50mb/month...
    and according to my plan download limit is 1.5gb which is highly impossible with such a download speed...
    i hope there will be a serious action taken to solve this problem...

    i have a connection of Broadband Plan Businness -700. BSNL say that the speed of Broadband connection is 256 kbps to 2 mbps. But maximum time speed is very slow..     Iam using BSNL Broadband Unlimited 750 Plus package and its really SUCKS. First of all the browsing speed is too slow, downloading and uploading forget about it and if there's a disconnection no customer service, it take 4-5 days to resolve the issue. Overall rating ZERO.
    No No No Forget What I Said. I Got My Speed Back And It's Super Cool Now. 225Kbps Dude! Wooooh What Did I Tell Ya! BSNL Once Again Rules Yeah BSNL Is My Man. Works For Me Not For You Because You Guys Hate It And I LOVE IT!!! Oh And My Speed Is Even 230Kbps When Downloading From Rapidshare! It's Almost Like I'm A Premium Member! How Cool Do You Think That Is? I Don't Have A Single Complaint About BSNL. It's Cool, Have Power, Have Strength And SPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED!

    I just bought the 750 + plan and the speed is too slow the maximum there is is 40 Kbps.
    They say it is 256, I haven't seen anything even close to a 60Kbps.
    My Tata Indicom's dial up had more speed than this this is too slow.
    Please BSNL.Make it to 2Mbps like the other plans which are less costlier.
    Atleast to the 256 that is promised.
    Come on guys, don't you understand from the name itself?

    4. Don't Disobey Or Forget Any Steps In The Video Because If You Do You Will Not Get Extra Speed.

        BSNL — very uncertain internet connectivity

        I got the broadband internet connection on May 4, 2010, within 5 days of applying for it. I had opted for the fixed charge scheme (750+). For the first two months everything went fine. After that, it seems, some dirty game started being played by BSNL, that still continues. The internet connections keep getting off within minutes of logging in, even though the green indicator light on the "link" panel of the modem remains steady. "Internet Explorer could not open this webpage" is the terribly annoying sight that I am forced to see on my screen, followed by the message "BSNL link failed: Redial pending". After the redial, connections may or may not be restored, and I have required up to 6-8 redials to get the connections back, though only for a few minutes before they go off again.
        I have heard that this is the dirty trick BSNL plays on its subscribers who have taken the 750+ (or equivalent) scheme. BSNL does not want to allow them to enjoy unlimited access by paying only a fixed charge. Is this correct ??? I hope it isn't, and also hope that these problems with BB internet were only temporary and will be fixed by BSNL immediately.

          Hi,
          I took BSLN EVDO wireless datacard in last october i.e oct' 2007 as signals are not coming properly in Rajajinagar area, bengaluru, i returned back to BSNL office near NAVARANG and they gave me a acknowledgment saying you will get a check of 1500/- in few days ...i keep on asking to BSNL guys they never returned it..they always use to say file has not come. It has been a year i didn't get my money back :-( whenever i call to this number[protected]given by BSNL office) they never pick the phone.

          When i contact to Evdo care centre they told me that it will take 5 days now its complete 1 weak. Tower is mark as x no tower level i know its settings but not activate my evdo no is [protected] my Esn is 11EF7C41 sl no. Is[protected] Please activate it.
          I have bought this stuff on 29th august and i have given 5000/- rupees for this.They told me that you will get brodband like speed but from that day till know i am getting only 20 to 40 kbps speed even i am not getting the speed of dial-up connection .I have also complaint for this but they didn't took any step.

            wel i am residing in a very prime location of the jaipur (raj) city called saket colony adarsh nagar.
            i have applied for the broadband connection in may 08..after long time when there was no action taken by the company towards my application i have reached the office of the company..there i was told that there ws no such application of mine..i was shocked and then i hv shown them the copy of my application form then they have checked the records and tell me that no connections are available at the related box which is used for broadbend..i thought that it was a nonsense, non availability of this box...there is some other reason or the lazyness of the officers..i had faced a lot of mental and physical problems because of this..please do something and help me...
            In my town there is full set of BSNL broad band equipment and related facility from march 2007. but yet not give a sinle broad band connection. please activate connection here.

Atleast I did not expect this kind of cheap tactics by Public sector company like BSNL. From then I have been charged 19/- each month (i.e., Rs. 114/- till June 2009).
              When I contacted the customer service center regarding this issue, they give me a reply that, I pressed some buttons while talking to somebody and that’s the reason for enabling the Radio Service... Ridiculous...
              Dear BSNL, Even if any type of such arrangement is there in your system, it is your minimum responsibility to send a request to me for confirming weather this facility enable or not.
              Further whatever procedure they gave to unsubscribe from this scheme simply did not work. So, I here by request the concerned authority to take action against such schemes and refund my Rs 114/- talk time. Also unsubscribe me from this service.

              I am BSNL pre paid Mobile user of West Bengal circle. My mobile no is [protected]. On 23/10/2009 my mobile recharged by Rs. 46 /- magic voucher and the validity date was 22/11/2009. But automatically the validity date changed to 22/10/2010. Then I contact to your customer service and they replied that some similar type complaint came to us but we can't rectify the mistake.

                  Contacting the customer care is not going to work out any miracles. You will have to get in touch with the nearest internet exchange (commonly termed as national internet backbone office, NIB office). Alternatively you can contact the exchange and ask them to reset your password.

                    I am a BSNL broadband user. But the site which is providing by BSNL to check our usage is not working for a Long time. we are unable to check our usage, so please help me the site is as following http://bbservice.bsnl.in/

                    BSNL Broadband — CAN'T CHECK USAGE

                    Sir / Madam,
                    I have a BB connection on my LL no. but I'm unable to check the usage of BB account. for this, I registered my self on BSNL CC site as described in the BSNL BB Installation Note but it shows that my account is locked. In addition to these I'm also not able to change the BB a/c Password.
                    On contacting the officials of BSNL, they are saying that it is a software problem and can't be resolved right now and no time limit can be told as they also don't know how to fix it.
                    I have a strong fear that as the password is default as given by BSNL, someone may misuse my account.
                    kIndly help me out of situtaion.

                    i am unable to check uses details whenever tried always it flashes time out login again.
                    my data-one mail always show warning of full memory even regularly i clean junks etc.
                    speed of BB is always very slow and intermittent dropout is regular feature.

                      This is me Arvindh M. I’m still an existing BSNL broadband customer. Due to my personal reason, I’m relocating to some place out of Chennai end of this month (26-Nov-2008). I have already submitted a cancellation form to disconnect BSNL broadband service which I have at home before I’m vacating as I cannot even stay one day more after the date 26-Nov-2008 to secure the BSNL instruments / equipments which was provided while signing up the BSNL broadband on the month of July.

                      I have been calling up the below contacts for the past few days to know the status of my cancellation request, but nobody has lift it up to answer my call so far. I don’t know what is going on and what they are doing at working hours. It’s really frustrating me and make me to feel bad about the BSNL service. This is the reason I’m drafting this email to you directly.

                      BSNL Broadband — No Continious Connection since 10 days

                      Hi

                      I have a Broadband and since days i have connectivity problem. It connects for 5~10 minutes and disconnects again connects for 5 min and again disconnect.

                      Can any check and rectify this problem we had a nice connection for 1 year now we are fed up with BSNL. We call call center but they dont send service people to home to rectify the problem.

                      If this problem is not rectified immediately then we may stop using BSNL for ever.

And the Next day A BSNL Customer care was calling us at Morninfg 7.30 A>M> ( Great Government Staff Works sincerely even from 1St Shift) So When Called, We inform them that the Problem Starts from 8.30A.m., Then she wud ask . If is it working right at this time??????. We reply, "Yes Mam Now its fine, But the problem only arises from 8.30 A.M. Then she wud Arrogantly reply as " So By the time When I Enquired you the net is working well . Then, that is the information I Require, For any Assistance please call the customer care around your nearest area, Thanks, And Enjoy Bsnl Service (Night 9P.M. Till Morning 7.30P.M. ?????????) Says the Lady Care.
                      But the problem is continuing till this day 20Feb 1.58P.m..


                      So I also got service for BSNL 3 G, Un-Limited Plan, To Safe Guard my Business Task Works.

                      Even this bsnl 3 G is very slow and gets disconnected Once in 45 Minutes, After the Award of 3 G Discounted Offer on Un-Limited Plan. Announced during December 2010.

                      If I want to Find any other alternative source, Then I find complaints from Consumer using & experiencing from other Broad Band providers.
                      On the whole, We are doubt as to whome/Which one to trust.

                      I am sorry to write that my regulars requests for improving my Internet connectivity, has failed to get satisfactory actions.
                      Following problems were confirmed by technician
                      Modem replacement: I paid Rs.2050.00 to replace my Modem
                      Technicians visit advised that:
                      (a) There is some problem in the cable and technician assured us number of times that he will inform to the concern person, but the problem could never be resolved till date.
                      (b) No proper connector point have been used to join the cables and short time problem solving activities are been carried over by the technician.

                        i am sandeep Verma, using BSNL pre-paid SIM ..my number is [protected].
                        today i tried to contact the BSNL customer care on [protected]. i was connected to one rude attendant, .. i told him problem regarding GPRS .. he kept on hold for 15 minutes or so, . and then coming back on call he said "AAP JO PHONE BATA RAHE HAIN IS NAAM KA KOI PHONE HI NAHI HAI MARKET ME", .. i said, sir i am using this phone and i have purchased it for Rs. 20000/- .. i[censored] dont have settings tell me straight away.. then he gave the phone to someone else who claimed that he is EXECUTIVE HEAD .. and said the same thing that this name handset does not exist.. i said dont talk rubbish.. so to this that gentleman replied "24 hrs k andar aap ka phone band karwa sakta hun.. aap dekhiye abhi karwata hun.. fax kar ke ".. then he hung up..
                        this is what BSNL offers?

                              Online payments are supposed to be faster and the amount is credited to the account immediately.

                              CellOne — illegal deduction of money

                              i was a cellone customer and my cellphone number was [protected]. i am forced to leave this sim card for two reasons. 1. on 24th feb,2011 a flash message came on my mobile screen, the subject was something like get live updates of cricket match..., i exit that flash message and did not subscribe anything, but rs 30 was deducted from my balance. i called up the customer care, reported what happened, they assured me that within 24 hrs, my balance would be adjusted and that money will be refunded, but it did not happen. instead on 26th of feb again rs 30 more was deducted from my account, without showing any cause. my father is a bsnl employee, he contacted many officials, but it was in vain...they didnot refund my money, whose deduction was completely illegal. now my father is using that sim card. i have lost all hope of getting that rs 60 back.as soon as the balance is finished, i will not use this service any more....THIS WAS A COMPLETE CHEAT.

                              I have called to the customer care about 10 times. My gprs works for nearly 30 seconds and ends up with an error. Everytime i call they send me the same settings again and again which does not solve the problem. i also told them many times that nothing happens by sending the settings again. these are the right settings but they end up with a vague answer. alo the customer care service is very bad. they pick up the call after 15-20 mins and that too sometimes the phone disconnects automatically.

                                I made complaint in BSNL, BANGALORE that my phone no. 25227965 complaint no:740 on 29 Nov 2008. Till date no response from them. I try calling laneman & Division Engineer, superviour (palanivelu)

                                BSNL,BANGALORE — Broadband deposit

                                I requested to cancel my broadband connection on Nov 5,2010 and submitted modem and phone instrument that day itself.I was told that I'll get the deposit amount within 2 weeks, but I havn't got anything.I have called customer care they are not helping just saying go to the office.After trying very hard got accout office no, but they dont pick their phone.
                                This is horrible and I won't take any service from BSNL in my entire life.

                                Sir, My telephone landiline[protected] was not working since from April 15th, I have given complaint many times, but till today[protected] not taken any action. Yesterday I came to know that they removed my complaint from register and shown that problem already sorted out. This negigence is not tolaratable. please take any civiar action. Thaking you sir

                                  I Have launched complaint against the poor coverage in nagpur for cdma and evdo services. i have also launched a public grivence application and gor responce also, but no use as they said that ur problem has been resolved, but the problem stays as it is. I have purchased the evdo datacard and evdo service from bsnl.

                                  I have received an SMS from BZ- BSNL Nagpur stating that, 2 Mbps High Speed BSNL Internet Data Card. Unlimited usage for mouth in Rs 550 only. Wireless technology. USB port device. For demo at your premises in Nagpur town type "DC" following by <locality> & send SMS to [protected].

                                  But after sending SMS as mentioned in SMS, I am receiving Error,

                                  Kindly help in getting the Data Card,

                                  i have purchased the BSNL NIC CDMA 1x USB type. but no network coverage for CDMA in my location and even in many places.even in nagpur too
                                  i am using bsnl cdma 1x NIC, where ever i gone and used it didnt found no network, very poor network, even in nagpur city very poor network... BSNL cdma network is very poor overall.
                                  I have purchased BSNL EVDO 1x USB ( Roomie) type prepaid connection. This was supposed to upto 3Mbps speed but i find the max speed is 153kbps though i find full network i do get this sort of connectivity. And when i gave application i had clearly mentioned to get me EVDO device BSNL office guys they had given Roomie device which was older version of EVDO and got paid same amount as of EVDO. Each month when i go for office i need to wait for half of the day to get recharged reason because they are not aware of which amount to be recharged and they do trials which i need to pay unnecessarily. On mid Jan i paid some amount for validity for a year after recharge it showed has for 2months when i asked the officials simple reason "We were not aware of it sir" and also recharged unlimited downloads/upload for 30days validity and it lasted only 24days why was the connection got disconnected 6 days before im really not aware of it. Overall BSNL is worst as well as they give wrong information and careless.

                                    My office deposited by BSNL CellOne Mobile No. [protected] Nov. bill on 22.11.08, a little late i.e after due date of 17.11.08 but within the date given in the SMS alert.. BSNL gave me a SMS alert that my bill amount has been received by them in the /ac no[protected] on 24.11.08; but my outgoing calls were deactivated on 24.11.08 and despite of lodging complaint on BSNL customer care no. [protected], ( complaint no. K[protected] dated 25.11.08), this has not been rectified.

                                    I am facing a lot of problem because of this nwarranted blockade of outgoing call. Please clear it immediately, or else I will go to consumer court that the services have not been restored to me even after 4 days of depositing the bill.
