SUB: REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE TELEPHONE SETS WITH BRAND NEW I.D. DISPLAYING TELEPHONE SETS; SETS PROVIDED ABOUT 20 YEARS BACK AND NEVER REPLACED AT MY PHONE NO. 262569 (O) & 268210 (R)

Respected Sir,
It has been about 20 years since I got BSNL Landline connections. In the last 20 years my telephone sets have never been change. These sets have not having redialing facility even.

1. Now the sets have got so many problems. Its dialing plate has become defective. We have to press again and again to dial. There is the problem of voice clarity in the sets as well.
2. One can not connect to any number. We have to dial about 20-25 times to connect. There is no redialing facility in the Telephone sets.
3. As I have not been provided the sets from the last 20 years, so now it is my privelage to get the new I.D. Displaying Telephone set.
4. As my telephone sets are not working why the department is not changing my telephone sets.
5. Why the officials don’t comply with my requests.
6. When the customer is paying bill regularly why BSNL authorities not providing him Brand new telephone sets.
7. Why should I pay for the service or bill when I have not been able to dial from the phone sets.
8. What is my fault and why I am being penalized for paying bills regularly whereas the defective instruments have been provided to me and department is not changing the sets provided about 20 years back.
9. Is there any one responsible authority/ employee work with BSNL who can listen to my pleadings or I shall have to file the suit with BSNL to get justice.

BSNL — Telephone Set problem

We have a bsnl landline telephone. In this telephone set the function of light do not work properly which cause a lot of problem while dailing the number and do other operations. We can submit our complete in bsnl office in many times.
No one come to check it. I want that my landline telephone is replace or repair as soon as possible.

i am jancy from pathanamthitta, kerala have a very sad complaint about "BROADBAND" connection. my internet was disconnect from more than one month.

I tried a lot to get it back but thease bsnl broadband staffs are very very and very irresponssible, and they are not time pick the phone too, and i am paying the full 500 all months for the net. if by mistake they pick the phone suddenly they give other number and ask me to call thair.

    I have booked BSNL Broadband Connection on 13th July, 2009 through Vasantha Communications Pvt. Ltd. (Franchisee code : 10003). Opposite Kamaraj Arangam, (DMS)229, Anna Salai, Chennai 6. during booking, they commited that within 3 days we will keep the phone line and within 7 days we will make the broadband connection. the executive given his mobile no also (Raj). when we contacted him and he is not reachable and always busy.

    proper customer service, i have trying to contact the mobile no given in the booking slip. but no use, after some ringing music, then finally goes blank. because of this i have closed my Airtel broadband connectino and not able to connect to office and travelling to office with back pain. Dr. advice me to take rest and got permissino from office to work from home. but because of them i am suffering a lot.

    please do the needful.

      BSNL — delay in activation of gprs

      hi, me Zaffar Iqbal, from balasore, orissa.

      from 9 days i have given a complain to activate gprs, but my gprs is not activated yet
      i have contacted the zonal head, customer care, but every one tell me to wait for an undefinite period
      i m getting fed up and want through the BSNL prepaid sim
      but i can't do this as i have communicated this number to many people and also invested to get the sim more then 250.
      so is there any body who can direct me how can i inform trai about the service BSNL is providing
      Sbj;barring my mobil no;[protected]. When i was in roaming. Barred wef 22-6-09.
      I was in roming in delhi up to 22-6-09& reached udhampur on 23-6-09&paid my bill vide recipt no;0324752 for rs362. But mymob. Was not activated. I went to bsnl office on dhar road made complaint, theytold me it will activate after 24 hours &i asked him for next bill because i had to go delhi again at present i am at delhi, and i paid bill in advance rs 500, isted of 376. Viderecipt no;0044589 dated25-6-09.&till this date my mob. Isnot working i againmadecomplant to c carebsnlon ph no;[protected] from 25-6-09 till this date they gave me complaint no; f[protected] oni think 27-6-09. But till this date no activationof my mobile each time they say activation will be after 24 hours iam surprised what should i say to bsnl deptt. And now i tell dont frame any ammount to my bill as it is fault of deptt when no activation what for bill though my ammount is with the bsnl deptt in advance. Now you are the judge i lost somany things who will fill that my job was depedent on this mob. They had called me but it was barred, now they refused to give me job who is responsiblebsnl.

      Sir, despite of many complains and requests at bsnl customer cares center, Handset setting for my Mobile SPICE QT-55 for purpose of GPRS on my prepaid mobile no. [protected] has not so far been delivered by the GPRS authority. Many SMS has also been sent at very high cost from 26th of Feb. 2010. My complain Number C[protected] has been booked by the Call Center on dated 06.03.2010 but no action taken within limit of 24 hrs.
      I think BSNL servants are only for receiving Govt. Salary.Whenever we are calling in the call centres they just tell that "Your complain has been booked & we promise that NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN". This is BSNL Service.
      Please look at the matter or sent a message that NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN.

      dear sir, BSNL unit Jhulass has installed broad band facility in Jhulass (Poonch)Telephone Exchange two m, onths before . but they have not provided tje broad band coonection to any consumer .the autherities at thew helm of affairs (SDO Poonch) saying non availabillity of optical scanner is the reason behind this delay

      I am at loss to understand that why the officers at the helm of affairs in BSNL prove ineffective in mitigating the complaints of general masses. Either they are not serious towards their duties or they feel that there is no one to call an explanation from them as the whole system right from top level to lower level is same.They are just getting salary for no contribution towards the services they have to perform. my land line connection[protected] is not working for last 10 day due UG fault created by road digging by ERA. In spite of my mobile calling contact with concerned DE of BSNL Jammu to rectify the fault and his assurance that needful would be done nothing has been done till date.

      Its really difficult to understand that in what way the working in BSNL's offices is done, as i have registered a complaint regarding my landline conection[protected] which is not working for the last 10-15 days due to the Under Ground fault due to some digging work by the ERG . i have visited three times to the BSNL office Bahu plaza but they just avoid me saying that its not an overhead line problem and it will take 2 or 3 days but now 7-8 days have gone past and nothing has been done .Bsnl always talks about customer satisfaction and reliability but in reality I found just the opposite of this . Please take notice of my complaint as its your duty to solve our problem and this is for what you get your salary . My broadband connection is also delayed due to this fault .

        I have been using broadband connection of bsnl. I see that month after month my broadband bill has increased multi-fold. I suspect misuse of my account so i wanted to change the password. I contacted them called at their call-centre executive multiple times.But to no avail. At times i was told a weired site, where i could go and change my password viz.—
        http://10.240.43.216. Even this doesn’t work at all.Once you login, immediately it flashes the following message:
        Sorry. Operation timed out. For safety, please log in again
        It is so strange that it is such a big telecom company but it doesn’t have a single mechanism where people could go, check their usage change passwords etc. very basic things you know!
        If they continue with such poor execution they will loose all their business to their competitors.

          i had taken 250- home plan i had also submitted my modem which i have taken in rent modem was of type one. in my first bill after using broadband for one month bill came in which security money was also added. i had also given application for this. but there was no any money adjustment in my phone bill till now. so please look into the matter as soon as possible.

          BSNL Broadband Internet — not working complaint

          complaint no. 1475081 dated 28/2/09 was given to the toll free no 1957 but till date i.e 8/3/09 my internet with broadband connection is not working whereas i'm regularly paying a monthly rent of 750rs.unlimited
          i called up today i.e on 8/3/09 at1957 and the person sitting at the no. told us that he has only the duty of forwarding complaints and told to speak to sdo at 2000786 mr.mansoor alam.the phone no. which incidently did not exist .i called up at1:45 to 2:30pm.

          also i want the waver off rent for all these days when my internet has not been working.
          hope to get the result soon n a strict action from your side.

          yes i agree with complainant because i am also suffering somewhat a similar situation i had applied for a type 2 modem which also enables a wireless connection but so far i am not able to get the wireless connection in my laptop and whenever i call up the customer care they respond very rudely and so far nothing has done about please take a note .

          I HAVE TAKEN THE 500 RUPEES HOME PLAN.NOW, WHEN THE PHONE BILL CAME, I'M SHOCKED TO SEE THAT I HAVE BEEN CHARGED 25000 RUPEES.THIS IS A FAKE AMOUNT THAT HAVE BEEN CHARGED AGAINST ME.I HAVE ONLY DOWNLOADED 3 GB OF DATA AND THEY ARE SAYING THAT I DOWNLOADED ABOUT 24 GB.THEY ARE ONLY PROVIDING ME WITH 20 KB/SEC SPEED.IS THIS THE SPEED FOR A BROADBAND?AT FIRST THEY SAID I WILL GET 2.2 MB/SEC SPEED NOW THEY ARE ONLY GIVING 1% SPEED COMPARED TO THIS.THEN, EVEN IF I DOWNLOAD 24 GB, IT WOULD TAKE FOREVER.I HAVE TAKEN THIS CONNECTION 2 MONTHS AGO FROM APRIL TO MAY.I HAVE ATTACHED A SCREEN SHOT ABOUT THIS WITH THIS COMPLAINT.SO, CAN YOU HELP ME IN THIS CASE?PLEASE HELP ME.

          BSNL Broadband Internet — not properly working for the past few months

          Iam using BSNL broadband Internet sevice through Compo 500 plan. It didn't work properly till date.
          it works rarely 2-3 days in a week. we registered complaints in the exchange, managers, IVRS number
          but no use.
          even iam using net, alwz gets disconeected and there will be breakage or poor voice quality at googletalk.i request the authorities 2 check in to problem n correct it as sooon as possible

          Since last about 2 months the connectivity intrmitently disrupted. Lodged mny compalints, Linemen came and said lines are OK. Then 2/3 times men from Franchisee came and told that the modem is faulty. As I have purchased the modem in JANUARY 2009 It is under warranty. They once replaced the modem on 6.6.09 but that too is faulty as they have replaced an old modem. Again before a week the per son again came and certified the modem to be faulty but since the modem is not in stock they say that they will replace the modem when there is stock. That way since last a week the internet is hardly available occasionally and my business is suffering a lot. When caomplaining on 1500 they direct on 1504. They then direct to Franchisee who in turn say that I shoult contact25851100, This way I am being shuttlecocked from one contact to other to get no solution. I am senior citizen of 78. Pl help me.           BSNL Broadband Internet — uses above excess billing

          dear sir, I am vinod yadav and i live in camp-1 bhilai raipur.I have uses bsnl broadband internet services.bsnl given monthly bill ,but my bill is not clearly show and my monthly pack 250 rupees but billing given above 250 rupees ,not clear uses unit please consider my complaint .

          BSNL Broadband Internet — BSNL non functional Internet Service and No service from BSNL

          Please be noted that Internet service provded from BSNL thru the land line conection in my residence is non-functional since past one month.

          This is not the first time , Even last time also it was non-functional for 3 month and after struggling badly with BSNL , they attended same.

          Now again i am struggling with them and calling them everydayand making complains but there is no hearing from their side at all.

          I am 67 year old and cannont run to their office everyday, though paying the phone bills timely.

          Please help me.

            My name is Sri Harsha and i have submitted an Dataone Application in Berhampur on the landline number of 2261453 which is registered in the name of M.Ravi Kumar who is my uncle. I have submitted the application on Dec 3rd and the application docket number is 322. When i contacted the SDO office as directed by your people, they tell me they didn't get the application till date. That was the first answer they gave immediately. when I asked them more further with further calls they informed me that received the same and forwarded the same to JE for Feasibility Test on Dec 6th itself. No response from that people anymore. Whenever i call them they tell me the same story again and again. When i tried to lodge a complaint in your Berhampur Telecom Circle website in the Complaint Box, it was blocked. So where else do you want us to file our complaints when you have conveniently blocked the site from accepting complaints? I need a Dataone connection immediately as i have an important examination to appear and all the material is available on the Internet. Hence i request you to kindly look into this matter and respond. I have sent a mail to S.Ray as per your Orissa website information and i found out that it is an invalid email id. Is this the way to treat a customer or a person looking for information being given misguiding information. This is a very serious discrepancy.

            Before this I coustomer of bharti airtel in centrax facility. But attract of your scheme & disconnect the airtel connection & take your conection.
            Now problem this I apply for centrax facility in Maheshwari samaj ujjain group. But your officer does not accept my application & say 149 plan is going on so we do not accept this application. But you do not close centrax facility so this is very wrong activity of bsnl.

            we are the users of BSNL phone from past 8 years and we have broad band connection to. but the problem is phone and broadband both are not working from
            29-3-08. we already lodged the complaint on 30-3-08, the complaint no.. is 1879
            (B N Bhagyalakshmi ph no. [protected] sector A yelahanka new town bangalore 64. no body turned up, except one person he did only visual inspection and not assured any thing. mean while we tryed to contact Mr Nayak DG of yelahanka new town of BSNL on
            4-04-08 and 5-04-08 at 3:30 pm, he was not there. because of this poor and worst service of BSNL we are fed up.
            we are having association "CITIZENS FORM" at yelahanka new town, bangalore 64.
            we regreate to inform you if the things is continuing like this there will not be any offen, you are forcing us to go for private connections like Airtel and others.

            i do hope that within 24 hours the connections will be alright.

            I have applied for BSNL connection with internet facility, there is a month going to complete no action is taken. One man from line stuff came within a week after applied for connection, to my house(Niti Khand III, Indrapuram). He gave me a assurance for the connection with the new number on next day but not was happened till now. This is the time of competition, BSNL should realize, i feel if a paid some extra bugs the guy then only i can get a connection from them.

            I felt why I have spent so much time to get the connection from BSNL?

            sir, i am a consumer of bsnl broadband postpaid plan home-combo 299 . My internet link is disturbing frequently .i can't work properly in web. I hope that u will take an immediate action on my request.I'm from west bengal state of beharampur region.
            There is no response from bsnl, as i have lodged complaints continously regarding internet, but no response from bsnl, Acc. to them customers are fool and they have free time to lodge complaints again and again and again
            Sir, my father Shri Amar Nath Roy is a resident of Kandi, Distt. Murshidabad. He is a having a Land line no.[protected]. My mother expire few years back and after that my father stays alone. Though we stayed outside (Kolkata) so telephone is the only communication between us. But it is very unfortunate that at least 20 days in a month it goes out of order and after giving several complaint sometimes your technicians come and do some repair outside of the house and it alive but after 3/4 days it again goes to hell. Why ? My father is a retired old (80 years) man stays alone, can't he expect a very few service from your Kandi Exchange after paying all the bills in time. Why he has to pay extra amount and if he denies then the line will go out of order? Is it your system? Why he will not submit his landline can you tell me.               recieved call from pune phone no.[protected], on 12.12.2007. that now you can make outgoing calls. but till now not yet started. what a poor show of bsnl services.i hope all the person must go to consumer forum &put joint complaint & must penalise bsnl .if not resumed i will put complaint to TRAI.

              Poor service from BSNL.




              I am a prepaid customer from Karnataka. I have selected prepaid gold scheme when the offer was made, with an option to change to prepaid general . Recently BSNL offered sumo power pack for prepaid customer. In order to migrate to sumo power pack I was told to change to prepaid general. On 18th and 19th November two SMS are send for change of plan. However no change of plan was given to me. When I contacted the customer relations center they gave me a docket no 119284 dt 20th Nov.
              In spite of several calls to the customer center, requesting for change of plan, as the offer closes on 24th Nov has only gone in vain. I was never given the chance to migrate.
              I have also sent an online complaint on 22nd Nov in this regard.
              When you gave this offer to new customers you only denied for existing customers like us.
              Though the signal strength seems to be in its peak the connection gets snapped off frequently with out any jamming devices around (if at all they are). Can you explain BSNL
              IAM USING EXEL ANANT PREPAID SINCE LAS TWO YEARS.
              MY MOBILE HAD LOST WHILE RETURNING TO HOME IN TRAIN.

              The actual number holder of the phone number is saying that he is not dial to me, and that time he was in the office at that time.

              So my question is who ring me from that number at that time. My guess is from my phone number is hacked by anyone and ring me, if it is possible I want to know the IP Address of the Computer from which the ring is possible to me. My mobile no is hacking by other and dialing me on my phone list how is it possible. Please tell me it is urgent.

              I'm having BSNL Pripaid [[protected]] connection from 2-3 years, I'm having problem with this connection like, whenever i dis-connect the line of incoming & out going calls every time, i'll get messege like "THANK YOU FOR USEING CELL ONE SERVICES", Its irretes lots, and i made complents on the same issue at call center more 20-25 times, but its not possible solve with BSNL services, i'm not understanding its problem of BSNL technical people's or those outsorce call centers people's, but customers feels very bad about this type of bad & irresposive service, because if i complane in call center they will tell 'its not our problem, go to BSNL office, if i went to BSNL office they will tell call to call center, its very bad experence of mine with BSNL, now i'm expecting after posting my comments here, my problem will be solved without fail & sending anywhere

                respected sir,
                i was using the broad band connection (BSNL) at the previous address of my number[protected].Since i shifted my residence i applied for transfer of both telephonr Broadband connections on Octobrer25th 2007.
                Then i got a new number 24867934 on 12th November 2007. But still i havent been given the broad band connection. With multi number of my enquiries with the related officers i got only unvaluable answers only.
                I need broad band connection immediately with your special efforts.

                Pathetic service by BSNL
                I had applied for connection transfer in august 2012,within bangalore.Still no action has been taken.Everytime they say "we are keeping your request on priority".They have alloted a new number but no one is bothered to provide the connection.My new numbe is 25600065

                  they are not working from 6 months .

                  I have given a application to close my landline no. 25393400 on 6 sep.2008. Than after 15 days i have received a letter that I am having a postpaid connection on the so called no. thats why my landline is not supposed to be closed.Than after I have changed my postaid no. [protected] to preaid from the same office on 29 sep. 2008. but thenafter when I received another bll of my landline I inquire at the office & got to know that even my no. is already changed to prepaid still it is working as a postpaid in their system. so they told me to give another application. So i do the same on 15 nov.2008. but till now i am having my landline bills and and because of their mistake and laziness to their work I have to pay my last two months bill. Even today after visiting their office for 7-8 times my problem is not solved and nobody there is giving me any proper answer or guidance.

                  My uncle's landline fone[protected] is not working for the past few months. He is living in Trivandrum, Kerala. He lodged a complaint several times at bsnl office. No body turned down to look at why his landline is not working. He was even told by a bsnl employee to apply for some private telecom providers, because it will not going to resolve in the near future. We are very frustrated.

                  Please do the needful to get the landline repaired.

                  Being bsnl all over India and govt of India our telephone no. 23647364 took nearly 3 months to shift and more than a month to give a connection. I have not yet received a bill for the month after connection, within a month now it not working i.e., no dial tone and no proper instrument.

I have visited personally, the responsible officer SHRI. VENUGOPAL many times and he had given me false hope and cheated me till now by taking no action on it. The only work the bsnl department doing is sending the bill of that dead land line in time even now . I would request you to do it repaired soon. I shall be putting a case in CONSUMER COURT soon if you are delaying again for my inconvieniences because if you are sending bill ( I have paid all bills you had send til now) you are resposnible for providing facility too.

                    My name is meghraj kanwar residing is A-Narayanpura, I have applied for the BSNL landline connection on 03-June-2008, application number is APP895850. When i went to apply for the connection i had paid the deposit amount of Rs.500. Other day i went to the BSNL office located in Krishnaraj Puram near Tin Factory to find out the status of my application. The authorised person gave me the number of a technician to call so that he would come and install my connection. However i tried calling him several times but there was no respose from the other side, I waited that week. On Monday 09-June-2008, when i went to enquire about the status of the connection again they informed me that lot of people who booked new connection are still waiting for the connection to install and i am in the queue. No body is taking any kind of responsibilty when I'll get my connection installed and it already 20 days since i have applied the connection.

                    First of all does it work to complain here?as bsnl also have the call centers but still problems are unresolved.
                    This is also the goverment forum, so does it work?

                    Dear Sir,
                    One person, Mr. Mutthuraj has come from BSNL. He has collected lot money for giving new connection of BSNL. He has shown ID Card of BSNL and lot of other form of BSNL and told that we have special campaign to give new connection and if you want then you can fill up the form and we will provide the new connection immediately.

                    Though, we never believe on this type of walking person but he has shown ID Proof and lot of other BSNL forms duly attested and filled for new connection. Since we have not able to take new connection of broadband because of poor response from BSNL office of Lal Bagh, Wilson Garden and Bannerghatta Road, we assume that, it may be campaign by Govt. Hence, we have fill up the form and given a cheque of Rs. 500/- drawn on HDFC Bank. He insists to give cash Rs. 350/- towards Service charge and installation charges. We have refused to give the cash but he has shown lot of filled form of BSNL, ID Card and Cash collected and told that this is special campaign. He has told that now you don’t have to pay these charges and even you don’t have to wait for the new connection as we will give you new connection with in TEN days. Hence, we have given cash of Rs. 350/- Now, we have not received any communication from BSNL.

                    Not only this, we have come to know that BSNL has organized a MELA for new broadband / landline connection in which there was no Service charge and Installation charges and even one SIM was free at there. If this is true then why this person has collected money from us? Now, when we are calling to this person, he is not listening anything.

                    Even I have faced the same problem as Mr.Ratan.
                    A person named Mr. Mutthuraj from Spoorthy Communication, Banashankari 2nd stage, has collected a cheque of Rs. 500 (Installation charge) and a cash of Rs. 350 (service charge) saying that he will get the new Broad band connection ( I stay in Rajarajeshwarinagar). It is almost 3 months for now and the Contact numbers given were [protected] and [protected]. If we try to call these numbers now, it either comes as switched off or Incoming calls barred.

                    I am Residing in Sithalapakkam Tamilnadu Housing Board for last two years.We don't have any broadband feasibility and moreover as it is Housing Board no one have permission to provide the facility.

                    Dear Sir,

                    We were trying for a new BSNL connection for almost three years now in Zamin Pallavaram Area in Chennai. Whenever we raise the request through different forums like submitting an application in person, or through BSNL official udaan website, it is always rejected saying &quot;NOT FEASIBLE- CABLE TO BE LAID&quot;.

                    The reason cited was not true at all since there was cable present in the same house where the tenant move with the old connection.
                    We spoke to some of the BSNL personnel&#039;s and shocked to hear that they are no providing any new connections in the area since they do not promote new customers. Their intention seems to be only to retain the old customers, that too without much efforts.

                    He also added that the private vendors for internet broadband, were involved in stopping BSNL to provide new customers since they want to have a major share in every place. So even BSNL officials are asking us &quot;Why don&#039;t you try the internet dongles provided by the private vendors&quot;!!

                    This is so ridiculous that a government sector is completely supporting private sector growth due to crooked officials who get bribe for the same.

                    Also I tried repeatedly with different offices surrounding that area and everyone rejected them in round robin saying that &quot;this is a border area where area of control is in dispute with the overlapping offices and also the head officials have too many politics between them&quot;.

                    This is really pathetic to cancel the leads with irresponsible replies, but we cannot blame the marketing people since they just reflect their top level management.

                    Could some one please look into this as a matter o[censored]rgency?

                      I think BSNL cellone is the worst mobile service i have ever seen in this world.

                      I think One week is very gud in ur case, i have given atleast 15-20 compliants since last 6 months, but not a single complaint is solved. BSNL is totally bakwas. No network coverage, high caling rates, problems of call interuption, and many more.

                      Kindly send this email to some high powered gentleman who is handling Info and Technology and or telecom ministry. This has become such nuisance with BSNL and its so called best services. Its a pity that such an organization who foresees taking over telecom industry to become number 1, in the near future is faltering in its own promises and I bet on it that very soon its going to loose its high clientele base so drastically due to non-professional and care less attitudes shown by all concerned handling restoration of telephone connections to residents.

                      In this age of strong tussle amongst mobile and landline service providers, where in a lay man will agree with me is that usage of landline is much more convenient and much preferred, all over. It is fast, clear, minimal distortion in voice breakage, etc.

                      We reside in Pune and have been using BSNL service for long. Its since 7th Feb' 08, Due to negligent digging by Road contractors, BSNL cables were damaged. After a months wait, the lines were restored, except for ours. When some senior officials were visited to lodge formal complaints, the mere reply given was - the old lines man has left and hence we are unable to find any new man.

                      2nd time reply - cables were stolen, hence delay in restoration.

                      Believe me our neighbours and other users phones in and around my society were restored, but not ours. We were handed over docet numbers twice, which read as -

                      i am a comsumer of BSNL's mobile service.i along with my friend how is also a BSNL consumer have changed our previous plan to recently launched DOSTI plan by using a regular coupon of Rs-236 from no.85781 at 10:39:57AM on 3rd oct of Ref no.97614160 and from that day we started enjoying unlimited free talk between our phone as per the DOSTI plan.but from 5th oct when ever my friend call me it cost @90paisa/call and the same thing happend with my no. from 8th oct.we have called customer care for several time but only recieved two docket no. which are 3025644 for my friend and 3036656 for my mobile.when ever we call in coustomer care they tell to be patient.quite a long time already been spent but yet to recieve any action against our complain. now when i complained during this regard in our local exchange they are telling me to go to the regional head office which is kolkata for solving this problem.i couldn't find any reason to go there to solve the problem as this is not my fault at all.

                      Mobile Tower installed and starts functioning form the 3rd week of September 2008 at BASANTIA telephone exchange (P.O. – Basantia, SDCA – CONTAi, Kgp. telecom District).
                      Perhaps it is not properly functioning because it’s network not available after 1.5 Kms. Other Mobile service providers also installed their tower at the same place and network of those services available at MIRJAPUR, CHAMPATOLA, and DARIYAPUR.
                      Please look through the matter.
                      Overall the services of bsnl, both landline and mobile, gradually lagging in comperision to the other service providers in contai SDCA, Kharagpur Telecom District, WB.

                      I received a call displaying no number on my mobile [protected] at around 6 PM on 17/01/2009. Pls forward my complain to proper authority so that i may not receive such calls in future. This is in interest of national security also that such types of calls are never entertained / terminated on Indian telenetworks.

                      i am shashi from patna bihar & i am not satisfied with the BSNL evdo internet connection, as bsnl says that it will provide 2mbps speed but the truth is that i am even not able to connect or sometimes even the net is connected then it take a huge time to open a single site...and i was complained many times in my local area exchange & main exchange patna, bihar, but they are not taking any action ...we are giving a huge amount for this internet but getting speed like mobile that is providing by other network...plz take action on it... at last i would like to tell that bsnl is going to prove that it is the worst service provider...either it is cell phone or internet ...the staff member & senior officer are not doing there job properly and only learn to shout on coustomer while solving thier problems...

                      I'm using BSNL landline for last 4 years and no major problem ever in my phone.
                      BUT
                      I'm struggling for last 4 months for getting proper Broadband service on my phone number:[protected].
                      I've lodged N numbers of complaints to the 'Shipra Suncity' Indirapuram Gzb Exchange and met personally with the SDO but every time they give me reason on 'Server not working'.
                      I dont know if their server is so bad, why not they upgrade it and provide me a better service.

                      Now, I'm totally fedup and planned to discontinue this Broadband service forever.

                      But before that, I will lodge complaint against BSNL and I want my money back (with interest) which they charged for providing Broadband apart from giving me Mental Harrasement.

                      Since last two years since we moved to chennai from coimbatore, we have been one of the unfortunate subscriber of BSNL telephones. Every now and then we have one problem or the other. On 10/8/09 I had lodged a complaint with 1500 stating that my phone line is dead. Complaint No.86051601. The flat answer is line will be restored in 24 hours. But today is 13/8. Inspite of reminding them every day nothing has happened. I have been provided with 2 telephone numbers. one is Tambaram exchange 22387000 and SDE 22652222. I have dialled these two nos. number of times but no response. I have seen three of BSNL linemen loitering around in our Housing Colony. We requested them to look into it. Without even checking the line they say it is exchange fault. In our complex there are many elderly people who are living alone and cannot even complain. BSNL has utterly failed to provide the kind of services which they promise only on paper. Another two days i will wait. If nothing happens, i shall surrender the line for sure.
                      Respected, im from Dibrugarh, assam, location J.p.nagar tower circle, plan 100+199 unlimited, last three days i hvnt been able to download anything like 3gp, wmv, mp3, jpg, mpeg, .etc..etc anything.                       In the application form I have chosen 99/- plan with STD facilities. But only local calls were made available to my mobile.                       BSNL Post Paid Service — Irregularity in the bill

                      Sir,

                      My name is Deepak V S. I am a State Government employee of Kerala. I have been using BSNL post paid mobile service for the past a few years. Last month I tried to enable Hallo Tune in my mobile using both SMS based system and Voice based system. In the voice based system, I got the message that the selection was successful. But no tune was played.I thought it would take some time to enable the service. But even now no tune is being played. In your language I am fed up with the boring 'tring tring'. The BSNL is so generous that they charged Rs 25 for the service which is not delivered (message dated 5 march 2010 from 56700).

                      You are requested to either provide the service or to withdraw the bill charged on me for the service I am not using. Expecting your earlier response

                      I always try to print out my / my office telephon bills from your site in our office computer . All details came out positivly, but when i try to download the detail bill, the bills shows only in my name . But other details like nos. account nos. payments Rs. etc for others .
                      why it is happanig from last 3to 4 months.

                      BSNL — IRREGULARITY IN SERVICE

                      I am a resident of Gopalapatnam in Visakhapatnam. I have been using the services of BSNL since last 7 years. On 7th January 2010 there was a technical error at the BSNL end which continued till 25th February 2010, despite of several reminders the bill was charged from us for the mentioned period (even though the service was not provided). Again during the month of march the phone was dead for about 2 weeks but still no action was taken regarding the matter for a long time. Again now since 10th April 2010 till date, the network is dead again. The authorization is not even receiving the calls from us.

                      There for I request you to plz look in to the matter and do the needful.

                      I was using BSNL prepaid sim at J&K for 3 years and after so many problems regarding address verification proof i converted it to postpaid a year back. There were several problems in getting the lines to other network. Sometimes there used to be no network. The balance used to get deducted many a times due to echo problems. It's just the worst network.
                      I am working in income tax dept. .I took a sim card under the CUG plan, in december 2010 and my number is [protected].Unfortunately from the day one i was not able to send any message either to a bsnl mobile or to a mobile of any other service.In this connection i made a lot of complaints to your customer service care and to our dismay it is found that no body in the Bsnl was prepared to correct the problem. I visied your bsnl office at uppalam road atleast 5 times and lodged the complaint, but in vain.Once more i came there and got ma sim card changed, but the problem still persists.
                      Sir, it is ridiculous to see that even after my running from pillar to post nobody in the Bsnl was prepared to take the responsibility. One more thing is from my mobile, call is not permitted to a particular number i.e, [protected].
                      Kindly take necessary action to redress my grievance immediately.

                      I am an user post paid service in BSNL last 10 years. But my affinity towards BSNL is rather an punishment. In case off any complain while we contacted customer care 1503 a bunch of people attained your complain but no one has the potential to solve the problem. For example I have paid my Bill on 7.05.2011 ([protected]) and than on 09.05.2011 my outgoing calls are bar with a instruction to contact the customer care. On contacting the customer care they as usual ask my name, your city, telephone number 15 times. 15 persons were attained my call. I was hold the phone more than 18 minutes 29 seconds. You will keep your phone on the ear without any work is not it a punishment ?. However nothing could be happen and no body give any right information why out going calls are bar. Further there is no provision for emergency calls. In the event of out going calls bar there is no provisions for emergency (toll free) Numbers. If a person is traveling/accident or any sort of problem he can't contacted the customer care even for help. This is a poor customer service and an monopoly of the service provider BSNL for the post paid customers. So it will better to shift the service to other service provider because no body is ready to receive suggestions in BSNL..
                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                      I have taken a BSNL sim around 6 months back and facing issues with the network, I am not sure whether this is the right forum or not. The connectivity is not at all there at ATTAPUR, Hyderabad. Most of the time it has no connection at all. I have missing many calls as well. While calling, atlest I have to try 2-3 times to get connected. Please take some action and if possible to have some network issues resolved in my area.

                        I have a WLL phone in my house. BSNL provide me a battery
                        backup set with my instrument. Suddenly Last week some
                        fire and smoke in battery backup set. So I plugout the my
                        phone. And I try to log complaint on BSNL. But unfortunatly
                        BSNL help line 198 not registered complaint for WLL phone.
                        Then I try lot BSNL officers no. and ask him what I do now
                        for my WLL phone. But no one answer. Every one say we
                        do not deel in WLL. So my phone battery still in same
                        condition. I helples what I do I surrender my WLL or BSNL
                        have repair or replace battery/WLL.

My tel no is 2115116.I have cancelled high speed internet connection on 6-6-2007.(acknoledgement no A141148 dt 06/06/2007)After one month I made a written complaint to the accounds departments and there is no response from them.I have remitted 3 bills which include the CDMA internet charge.                           No Recharge coupons in ROHTAK

                          I am pawan kumar, I use bsnl prepaid connection from the very begning as BSNL launce prepaid in HARYANA and now i want to purchase a migration coupon of RS 350 as per BSNL custmor care i.e from prepaid to lifetime(ANANT) coupon is of RS 350 but from last 6 months i didn't got it from haryana and even the senior persons of BSNL exchange give statements that they dont have ever heard about dis type of coupon I reported bsnl...

                          Hi ,
                          We've terminated our BSNL connection in 2004 ,we settled all our bills but was not able to collect the security deposit amount as it was told that the process will take arount 15 working days ,as we've shifted to a new city it was difficult to keep a track what process is going on.
                          Now this year when we went to BSNL office (at our home town),we found the bills that we paid was not updated in their system .When we showed them the bills and asked them to update they again told us a long process and unnessecary troubled us to move from one person to another to verify the amount paid .We wasted our time for 6 hours then also the issue was not resolved .

                            I'm a customer of bsnl since 1998. I got the broadband install in 2005. But right now i want to change my plan. I gave the application of changing the plan on 22-11-07, when i asked that would i have to give any security deposit. They said it will be included in your bill. But on 1st december when i go to the bsnl office for confirming my plan change the bsnl guys said me that u didn't deposit the security amount. When asked him that you was saying i am not to give any security it will be included in the bill. They didn't heard me anymore at that time and i had to deposit it there right then. Then i asked him when my plan will be changed they said it will be in few days. I went there on 5-12-07 then asked about it then the SDO said your plan will be changed from next month means from January 2008.

                            Write an application for change of plan to 250. and submit it to the local exchange, also get one signed copy o[censored]r application from them. then next day you have to go to exchange again and ask for the plan change in front of you. if it is done then it will take hardly 24 hours in effect.

                              I am visiting Bangalore from California. My husband wanted a calling card to call the US from Mumbai. I called the BSNL Malleshwaram office and explained the situation to the lady to answered the phone.

                              Ms. Nagamani (the lady who answered the phone) informed me that I could purchse the BSNL ITC card that could be used by my husband to call from an MTNL landline to call the United States. So I drove down to the office and purchased the card worth Rs 500 + tax of Rs 62. While buying the card I asked Ms Nagmani again if I could use the card from Mumbai and she reconfirmed.

                              I brought the card home and tried calling but the call didnt go thru..so I called the helpline. After speaking to 7 different customer services, I was told that I could use the card only from a BSNL landline!!

                              I went back to the BSNL office and complained to the SDE Ms Rohini.

                              Their solution to this situation after admitted that it was a mistake on their part was:
                              A) Peddle the card to someone else..maybe to some friend or relative!!
                              B) Use a PCO to call the US!

                              There was utter chaos and miscommuniation in the office.

                              Please DO NOT BUY THE BSNL CALLING CARDS. They are out to cheat the people

                              I bought one ITC BSNL Chennai Telephones for Rs 100. While scratching for the secret PIN the number was removed and I did'nt get the PIN. The serial No of the ITC card is YEA0211732 and PSN No is [protected]. Kindly provide the secret PIN for using the ITC card......

                                my name is ketan parikh, i m from baroda. my phone number is[protected]. i have applied for bsnl broadband 256 kbps plan, 900 p.m. home plan. it has been already above 20 days left after bsnl personell put a ADSL router at my hom. i have called so many times for my ID and password at Alkapuri office but they answered me like it will take 2-3 days, but after calling more than 50 times they still give the same rubbish answer to me. in addition, they also told me to call Mr. C F PAtil at Makarpura, vadodara Telephone Exchange for the same. for this, i also called to him, but he never responded to me at all. the last time i called at Alkapuri, Vadodara office of bsnl broadband, they told me that it will sactioned from Banglor then only we will give you your ID and password, but already 20 days have gone and no reply received from them yet.

                                so, in short, such kind of personells in BSNL are fradulant and making down the image of bsnl . but ultimately we consumers are suffering from such. they (BSNL) gives diffreent attractive advertisements to attract consumers but they never ever follow their commintments.

                                BSNL — Not providing the broadband connection

                                I am living in vellimalaipattianam narasipuram village in Coimbatore. In our village are having two engineering college,one arts and science college,one management college and one polytechnic college.Here more than 5000 students are studying in this college and also more than 10000 people are living in this three village. But BSNL of Coimbatore is hesitate to give broad band connections to our villages. Regarding this we were send many complaints to BSNL. but we didn't get a solution yet. I believe that after raising this complaint we will get a good response from BSNL Coimbatore

                                  BSNL — Phone set is not working properly

                                  My name is Chaman Jasoria and recently I have take the new BSNL landline phone connection with my father name Shri Radhey Shyam Jasoria and my phone no. is[protected], the connection is working fine but the phone set is not working properly. Phone set is of lcd but in lcd nothing is visible and light given in the lcd is dark blue by which it is not possible to look into it, it is effecting my eyes and dangerous for eyes of everyone.

                                  I have asked to my extension, nirman nagar jaipur but they are not given me any reply and not telling me how to change the phone set and are not ready to to change the phone set.

                                    I am M.Asif Shaikh, took another add on card (cell no- [protected]) on my post paid connection on 25th September 2007. And my woes started since then:

                                    1. Firstly they took around a week’s time to activate my card.
                                    2. Once done after many calls to their offices, we asked to activate GPRS facility on this card, they told us to send an SMS message and it will be activated. We sent the SMS msg and it didn’t get activated, when we called customer care they asked us to re send an SMS, so again we sent an SMS still it didn’t worked then I submitted a written complaint to Dehu-Road ( Pune ) BSNL office on 30th Oct 2007.
                                    3. Next day we got a called that you’re GPRS services are activated, we asked for settings so that we can browse on computer. They sent few settings but it didn’t work.
                                    4. We called so many times to customer care as well to their Technical Dept but all in vain. And as on date we cannot access anything neither on cell nor on my Computer. (only wap site I can access, which has no meaning as I want to access – Gaoogle ; Yahoo ; Gmail etc..

                                    5. REMARKS: I get a remark “ Network not available” and I cannot access any site neither on my Cell Phone nor on my computer….. As on Date i.e 5th December 2007 at 10.45 am.

                                    6. On top of it I received my monthly bill where they charged me Rs. 693.26 only for GPRS for my this add on card – [protected].

                                    5. Is BSNL accounts dept people sleep cant they check and verify the bills before been sent to customer? Cant they see they charged me twice for same period and that too be for the services which I m unable to use?


                                    How can I sue BSNL for this? Please respond as well register my complaint.

                                    1. Now the sets have got so many problems. Its dialing plate has become defective. We have to press again and again to dial. There is the problem of voice clarity in the sets as well.
                                    2. One can not connect to any number. We have to dial about 20-25 times to connect. There is no redialing facility in the Telephone sets.
                                    3. As I have not been provided the sets from the last 20 years, so now it is my privelage to get the new I.D. Displaying Telephone set.
                                    4. As my telephone sets are not working why the department is not changing my telephone sets.
                                    5. Why the officials don’t comply with my requests.
                                    6. When the customer is paying bill regularly why BSNL authorities not providing him Brand new telephone sets.
                                    7. Why should I pay for the service or bill when I have not been able to dial from the phone sets.
                                    8. What is my fault and why I am being penalized for paying bills regularly whereas the defective instruments have been provided to me and department is not changing the sets provided about 20 years back.
                                    9. Is there any one responsible authority/ employee work with BSNL who can listen to my pleadings or I shall have to file the suit with BSNL to get justice.

                                      I have BSNL connection my complain no is 20275304 on 3rd October 2007 at 12:30 pm. That time your customer service has told me that our technical department will call inform you.

                                      After one month again they have deducted money at midnight of 1st December 07. I have lodged the complain on 2nd December 2007 at 7:30 Pm Complain No. 2244678 i.e also requesting to your customer service people Ms K. Chakarborty then she given a number to me. When I told her to I like to tock to your Sr. Executive she told that they are busy. One hour later again to your customer service Mr. Baba datta he transfer to line to Sr. Executive Mr. Anant Kumar. He started that why you want to talk to me I told Mr. Anant Kumar that this regularly deducted a money. He told your complain has transfer to your technical department and they going to inform you. When I told when they going to inform me he told he no idea. May be one month or one year will take. Then I ask him to transfer the line to your technical department. He said not possible better you talk to your area local exchange JTO then I asked him to give me the number. He told not possible the way Mr. Anant Kumar talk me. It shows that customers are bugger and Mr. Anant kumar paid him money for connection. This is a way West Bengal BSNL customer service provide a service to there customer.

                                      I Want to cmplain against Vodafone regarding their unlawful activity
                                      I am Agniv Ghosh from Bankura, West Bengal Telecom circle. I am very much discouraged with your customer service. I am very much sorry to say that they some time not only misbehave with the customer but also unable to give info to the customer. After requesting for more than 1 and half months I get GPRS facility in my mobile. Now I have requested them to tell me the procedure how I can use the GPRS in my computer. they didn’t tell me that. Actually I think they don’t know the process. It’s urgent. I can’t use the net from my mobile in my computer. More they refused to give me your mail id. It was not expected from BSNL. I think I can’t use net through BSNL GPRS ever in my computer. It is very much shameful! I use Motorola L6i model. My mobile no. is [protected]. Thank you.

My account no. for Cellone is[protected] and it is Rs.100 plan and includes GPRS Rs.199 plan. My Cellone bill normally comes within Rs. 340 to Rs. 500 per month ( e.g Jan.08 Rs.483 Inv No.[protected], Feb.08 Rs.436 Inv No.[protected], Mar.08 Rs.402 Inv no.[protected], Apr.08 Rs.409 Inv no.[protected], May.08 Rs.399 Inv no.[protected]. But unfortunately the Cellone bill for Jun.08 comes Rs.3707 including May due Rs.308 Inv no.[protected] where the actual bill for Jun.08 showing Rs.3399 and the due date is July, 25.2008. In this situation I am really worried why so much of increase in my Cellone Bill for the month of Jun.08 as because I am using it as like as other months of the year. I am confused what to do now.

                                      Therefore, I am requesting you to please do arrange to take necessary steps and please arrange to send me the detailed call log for Jun.08 or please advice me how to get the detailed call log or what to do. I am ready to pay the extra charge for detailed call log. Waiting for a brighter response from your end.
