I have taken an internet broadband connection from bsnl in jamshedpur . I had reinstalled the operating system and after that i have tried to configure the router so that i can do voice chatting tru google talk and yahoo messenger but i couldnot do so. I complained abou the same in the bsnl office but every time they dismiss the compalin saying its problem of computer i had reinstalled the os many times after that but i still have the same prob i have tried with every possibilty of checking the OS and it has absolutely no problem. But the BSNL ppl can't have this simple thing that they need to configure the router. its been a month that i have this problem but still no action has taken place

i have taken bsnl netone connection 5 months before in koraput and now while conneting the netone my user name and password are invalid .even while checking my account username and password are invalid as a result i am not able to acess the net.its been about one week i am having this problem. looking forword for your action.
Dear sir
I have not taken broadband connection, however I am getting bill since September 2008. I further inform you that I have taken WLL connection since then. Therefore no Broadband connection can be provided in WLL. I request you to kindly correct all the bills and refund the excess amount charged for Broadband connection together with WLL bill.

    i can't find my usage records

    Dear Sirs,
    Inspite of my repeated attempts to access to usage account(Broadband) for the past 4 days, I couldn't get it. It is very much disappointing and frustrating me. It's not at all a secret and revealing to any one won't harm anybody. So make it simple to know about their usage. This hardship is being experienced by almost one and all.     I am a 61 year old cancer patient and have been moving out of my home place (nipani,dist belgaum, karnataka) for past 6 months for major operations and chemotherepy sessions to Mumbai.

    I stay with my wife and 90 year old mother and have no one in the house who uses email and yet i have been shocked to see that 2 of m,y Broadband bills shooting upto, ie the first billl was of Rs 7333.00(bill date 07/12/07)and shockingly the second bill(bill date 07/01/08), my consumer number [protected] issued by BSNL, belgaum telecom district was for Rs27750.00

    firstly i would like a detailed usage bill to understand that what was the usage on the days when there was no one at home (when i travelled to mumbai),which would make it clear that if i was not present(and there was no one at home) how could the internet be used?

    I am shocked by such bills and am open to a inquiery .I am a leading citizen of my town with a goodwill of more than 40 years and such callousness is ruining my spotless reputation(which can be vouched by innumerable people).

    I am User of Broad band service in Hubli, lingarj nagar. My Telephone no is[protected] in the name of mahesh S Badigannavar. I am using broad band service since from last 7 month. Initial 4 month service was very satisfacotory, but after that i am regularly facing problem while using the internet.I have complained your local customer care service but they could not sole problem yet. My brother is staying in Marutias we are contacting him regularly throuh broad band but due to this bad service we are not able to contact through online. we are making calls through my cell hence i am paing more because of your bad service.
    Sii i am very much proud to be an BSNAL user but i am not satisfied with service. Hence i request you to kindly solve my problem. I hope you do the needfull.

    I have taken a broadband service from Belgaum bsnl on[protected] and paid the requires charges vide receipt number CSC/676 for phone number 2465788. At that time I had given my username as bdmunashi with password iowa4692. However when I tried to go to website www.dataone.in with this username and password I got a reply that either one of them is invalid. Please look into this matter and help me get the correct username and password. As I have a bandage on my leg due to a fracture I am unable to come personally to your office.Early reply will be appreciated.
    We at our Foundation have faced same type problem. We are in Rs 250 per month 1 GB limit. on one day (June 3rd2008) they showed usage in one second 1.3 GB and next 97 minutes another 1.3 GB . Technically they bsnl people say it is a spurt and spill. We are fighting with sarkari babus. We have to make noice. one thing is truth will be established.The usage portal is full of bugs and we can challange them. we need tools to establish our browsing history. search in web an install in your sysetm.

    I am using BSNL broadband plan 250. I used to check broad band usage daily, but for phast three days it doesnt shows the usage.. It shows only the past third day's usage only.. Please tell me whats the problem occured..
    There is another problem of {bbservice.bsnl.in} which is troubling me from last three days and the problem is -------When I am opening the website {bbservice.bsnl.in}.The website open's but it gives one error that is[protected]

    I have taken bsnl brodband (home250)before 3 month.Bsnl take a month for conection.First bill 828/- and second of Rs4651/-.Then also I cant chack my useags till now!They give me a simple password(password)which not works. Bsnl is having a plane 750/- in which they offer unlimited up load/download! Then for 20gb how can they charg 4651=00. Any logic?

      I am not able to know data usage of BSNL broadband can't access my BSNL mail ID because when i log on to www.data.bsnl.in it asks for user ID, & password, when i click it says check your user ID & pass word. help me.
      I have filled an application for BSNL broadband services on[protected] on the plan 500C choosing modem of type IV. It is nearing one month. Still I did not get the connection. The authorities say, it will take time. They do not know, when they would be able to provide type-IV modem. Some of them do not know about the type-IV modem.
      I doubt, if the authorities are putting up minimum efforts to procure the type-IV modem.

      Procedure for displaying BB usage details for multiplay portal users

      I find that total Data transfer(MB) is being shown in the unbilled BB usage record.This is highly inconvenient for the Subscribers having Plans with limited as well as unlimited usage hours.The usage during the unlimited usage hours may pl.be shown as 00 (zero).
      The above mention procedure will help the subscribers to know at a glance whether they have crossed the allowable usage limit in their respective plans.

      iam a class 12 student and i requre the internet for checking the various online competion forms.But with deep regret i want to bring to your king notice that most of the times iam not able to serve the internet.Even though i get connected to bsnl iam not able to see any website.I have many times told the bsnl worker about this but no one listens to me.when i told this to mr.Manoj sharma(bsnl noida officer for broadband) he said he cant help me.

      i hope you understad what type of inconveneice this is causing to me even aftyer paying the full payment of bsnl bill.

      Sir, my nrd band connection is not getting connected always.its intermittend.Symptom is that the DSL indication in the moderm is not coming on intiallly for some period (may b for Hours) and connection is not getting throgh.If i am lucky it may come after some period and net will get connected.pl give advise.

      Solution:

      Actually, there's a known issue with data.bsnl.in. Even if you give correct user id and password, it'll through error. Try twice or thrice with the same login details, you'll be able to access your details.
      I had similar complaints. I wanted to know all facts from the silchar BSNL and wrote several letters alongwith application under RTI ACT. With more than one month over, they have not replied to my single query. I suspect a foul play and a much larger corruption in their accounting system. I request CBI to initiate an enquiry in this regard.

When I asked the A.O. of BSNL-Fatehebad he told that this bonus was only for those who were using the broad band for more than one year.But there was not a word in your ad.(one year).Please clarify this and do the need.

      I have got many phone calls from Mahindra Finance[protected]. I have made several complaints to each staff (Including one Ms Divya). Still they asking one Mr. Purushothaman (he took some loan from this finance company). Each and every time i need to explain who am I. It doesn't make any Difference. Once asked the Manager (Mr. Biju Thomas) to contact me, because he was busy with another call. I asked the staff to delete from their system. Still they are ignoring and torturing for lst 4 months.       As you know all DataOne plans are NOT unlimited. So if you have opted for a limited plan then you should be carefull about the dataone usage.
      Your Dataone broadband usage can be checked as follows.
      1) Open http://10.240.43.216/webLogin.jsp in Internet Explorer ( Firefox not supported).
      IF THE ABOVE LINK IS NOT WORKING, Please try Check Broadband Usage
      2) Enter you dataone username and password.
      3) Click on "Service Records" link.
      4) Select the month for period you are checking the usage.
      5) Click 'OK'
      6) Value of 'Total Volume' is your total dataone usage of that particular month.

      Important : if you open this link in any browser other than Internet Explorer, you may get an error message like "{ Sorry, you cannot access portal because your explore is not Cookie-enabled.
      Please set your exploreCookie-enabled, and access portal again!"
      So Please try with internet Explorer Only.
      Also please note that the link is accessible only from DataOne internet connection.

      It will not ask your user id. It asks your portal id. User id and portal id are not the same. they are different. You can get your portal id from the local exchange in-charge. Portal id consists of three letters from the user id, a serial number and the date of provision of your broadband facility.
      Hey just log on to www.data.bsnl.in and enter your portal ID and password and u don't need to enter user id in place of Portal Id. Bsnl must have provided you with the 14 digit portal ID. After log onto it just go for the My services and in that go for the My account ussage. I hope this will work.

      BSNL DATAONE — Agent cheating

      I got a new connection of dataone in may 09 after paying Rs 3650/- to an agent in Dibrugarh called Biplav Das. He didn't deposit the money in BSNL office in Dibrugarh and now my connection is disconnected. And furthermore, this person is not attending to me either. What should I do? I'm suffering unnecessarily even after paying the full amount.

      Pleased be informing that, I got BSNL broadband connection (Home plan 500C) from May 25th.As per Home plan 500C charge suppose to be 500 rps + if modem rent charge 80 rps total 580 per month.I planned to purchase modem when I applied, after I requested rental basis.

      Unfortunatly total modem full amount came in month of june bill ie 2425 rps

      ie. modem purchased charge 1040
      Depossit 500
      june fixing charge (june) 112
      and telephone bills + ect

      grand total 2425

      then i complaint our BSNL main branch office to clear modem rental basis, they said it can clear, end of bill date i went & paid bill, only they gave me 300 rps.I dont know what this calculation.Actually they have to give back more.

      Dear Friend,
      I have also just taken the same combo plan. The speed that BSNL has promised is just 256 kbps. At present they are giving me more than that. The site which u can go for details is data.bsnl.in/wps. They will ask u for username and pasword which u should have been provided. Till today the site has been closed down. But it should be working from monday. They will update your usage to about 8 hrs delay in the site, this u have to allow considering the number of customers. Then, You can download between 2am and 8am which is free. Everyday u can use about 50 MB of data which is around 2 hrs of normal browsing without downloading. could bemore or less. For knowing every moment of downloading you have to download a bandwidth meter. For example the Shaplus bandwidth meter which I have done. Try a google search on that. Also go to your nearest Exchange and talk with the JTO there. PHEW I HOPE IHAVE NOT BORED U.

      I am not able to check the broadband usage details after getting registered in Selfcare.sdc.bsnl.co.in. I have made several requests to 1500 but of no use. No BSNL representative is helping in this matter. I request the authorities to check the number of calls I made to 1500 and take some necessary action on this.
      Today I topped up my BSNL VENNELA + for Rs. 1000/ against your SMS MESSAGE that for every Rs.500, 1000, 2000, 3000, 5000 /- there is a extra talk time of 25%. But I didnot get such extra talk time. Topped up from A/C No:124827, at 4:57 p.m. on 15.10.2009. It is either your sms fault, or recharging agency fault that I have not topped up Rs.1250/- Please look into the matter and do justice to me immediately. Your custumer care also not having update information like the sms message of 25% extra talk time offer.

        I am registering complaint after sevral call to Mr Girish JE, and Mr Mohan of BSNL Broadband Indira Nagar Bangalore. Inspite of repeated complaint they never took it seriously.
        My complaint is 'our most of the email is not comming to my address [protected]@dataone.in' some times one out hundred mails is received and most of the mail bounce back stating the receipeint address is not valid. where as all the out going mail is working fine. the pop3 and smtp address is also correct as said under configuration manual i.e. smma.dataone.in and smra.dataone.in.

        Kindly help us out because our comlete work is depend of our client mails only.

        Regarding the blank page, try completely disabling your antivirus and firewall. I had the same prob. After disabling kaspersky it worked.

        I bought a new broadband service scheme – RS.750 (unlimited plan) during last month July 08. Now I’m facing lot and lots of problems in using this service, i.e.
        • Internet service is not stable, often gets disconnected.
        • No response from customer care even I complained them more than 10 times. (complaint no:[protected]
        • Accessing speed is very slow. I am getting only 8 kbps instead of 256 kbps.
        • I got response like this from the person who installed my modem
        “ IN THIS PLAN WE CANNOT DO MORE THAN THIS AND WE DID OUR BEST, I[censored] NEED BETTER SERVICE CHANGE THE PALN”
        • Even I complained Divisional engineer of Kathivakam telephone exchange but I didn’t get any response
        I was totally disappointed of this BSNL broadband service. I don’t know where to complaint to get proper service. Even many people are complaining regarding this service. Finally I hope you will step forward this issue to rectify the above board band problems.

          I have BSNL broadband connection with leased modem.

          The BroadBand stops working any time. Modem shows link working but there is 100% packet loss which means that the problem is from exchange. It happens atleast twice a week. There are occasions when it resumes working after a day but most aften I have to make a complaint and it takes them a week to repair.

          As far as complaint is concerned, I keep calling 24 Hour customer care but after telling for about two minutes that the call is in queue, the call drops. After trying for as many as 20 times, wasting an hour, if I am lucky, I will get to an executive. They log the complaint and tell me that the problem will be corrected in 7 working days, standard answer.

          Most of the time it not possible to reach Customer Care and I have to call the exchange. However, the time taken to do the job is same. Exchange officer insists that lineman will visit my house. Probably he knows that this is the best way to postpone any action to Saturday as I can not be found between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM at home.

          And finally the problem gets resolved in its due course without lineman visiting my place just to reappear next week or a week after that.

          I have tried to speak to escalation points mentioned on the reverse side of the bill but in 95% of trials, the phone is not answered. In 5% cases when the phone is answered, I get a reply that we will look into the matter. Nothing happens however.

          I have been harashed like this for a year now. Does anybody have any idea how to handle these useless people? Is there any provision in the law to make this organization accountable for their hopeless service?

          sir i use my portal id and password to know about my account usage but services are not as desiered ,and not giving information about my usage, it was written some error in services please solve id ,and when i enter my user id and password it say invalid please sort out
          Hi Sir/Madam,
          I had been using BSNL telephone since 2000 and we got the Broadband connection recently under Home 500c plan. My phone number is[protected]. I returned the modem to the concern authority and submitted a covering letter to Madhavaram Exchange, Chennai as I got my own modem purchased and hence requested for refund on Security Deposit. I received my monthly bill amount for Rs.2, 237/- for the month of September 2008. I had few clarifications regarding my bill amount, since there was an excess amount charged. So I called[protected] around 2.25PM on 23/08/208 thinking I would get my doubts clarified by BSNL personal. But my bad luck, one lady picked up the phone and never gave proper details regarding the bill amount. She was UNPROFFESSIONAL and VERY RUDE to me. Finally I decided that I am not going to get any help from her and eventually when asked for the name, she said her name was Soundari, Accounts Officer. She hung up the call before I could complete my conversation. I am really astonished by the service which I received from an Accounts Officer. It made me feel bad as this was a frustating experience which I never had through out my life time. I am not interested and have to think about continuing my relationship with BSNL Service.
          I would like my September bill amount to be revised and send me the actual amount bill inorder to continue relationship with BSNL.

          I would also like to escalate this matter to the higher officials. Awaiting yours reply on this.

          BSNL — Reappearance of noise in my telephone.

          Probably as a result of my complaint through this site last morning I found a noise-free telephone this morning. But before that I found that the facility of lodging complaint through 24002198 has been restored to my phone, and there also I lodged a complaint. At about 10-30 in the morning I informed you and expressed my regret for filing a complaint through 24002198 and gave you the docket No., requesting you to overlook it. at about 1-30 p.m. I got a telephone from your office and there I informed my telephone is ok. But now I find again that nasty sound has appeared and the facility for over-the-phone complaint withdrawn.
          I am a senior citizen over 72 years and it is not possible for me to ask for restoration by visiting your office. Will you kindly restore the service and assure me a noise free service? My telephone No. is 24009411.

          Poor Customer Service:

          I am living in bangalore and shifted my house to HSR layout, sector 1. I planned to get a internet connection from BSNL. After pushing them lot, i got an connection.

          I had Airtel connection before, whenever the u raise a request, they have a policy to attend your request within 4 hours and they have done. But waiting for a week is too much in BSNL.

          In general the complaints are genuine with regard to BSNL.
          In such circumstances, it is advised to send your complaint to the following (Not that they are going to make wonders) but it gets registered at least and some action will come at least at CGM level:

          I requested for BSNL broadband connection through my mobile ([protected]). Yesterday i got a call where that person is so polite in talking with me and he said an agent will be sent to my home to discuss about the procedures.

          But today I got a call from this guy I'm so irritated with the way of speech and the volgur slang that he used against me. I'm not sure "Is this a way to handle a valid customer.?"

          My Phone going dead every month is a regular process. In dec09 it was dead for 10 days, in Jan for 2 days, in Feb10 it is dead from past 8 days. I think BSNL guys have a tie up with private service providers. and might be getting some money for not giving good service. This way private companies can get more customers.
          Since being a govt organisation they are not at all worried, there is no Hierarchy, even its there, every body shares the irresponsibility equally.
          Whenever I visit for complaint they utter only one word 'Cable fault'. May be they can try to get into guiniess book of records for keeping the max no of complaints pending/unattended.
          I dont have much hope from these guys, there system is fully currupt.
          Yes.. I strongly agree. We paid Rs. 3000 as advance while booking a telephone line in Yr 2000. We recently cancelled it and was said by BSNL officials that the amount will be credited in next 3 months. But now they came back saying that only Rs.1000 will be refunded back, for the remaining amount there was no proof available with them, as it was very old connection.
          And moreover, as mentioned by one of our friends their behaviour clearly depicts that they are not there for serving customer. Not fit to be a government servants.
          Still There is no proper response from the BSNL, Please suggest how to esculate

          This is to inform that i have been facing a terrible service with BSNL services. below are as follows.

          I was promised a speed of 1Mbps until 15GB and there after 256kbps. however the max speed that i have experienced is 228.20 kbps even before utilizing 15GB. once in every week i had to raise a complaint. Today i had a terrible experience that i have recorded all the conversations of the customer service rep. i had continuously been disconnected, made fun of and no proper response. i am looking forward to file a complaint against BSNL for providing such a bad customer service. Finally i called up JTO number at 20111072 and that went to much more worst situation the person on the other end answered the call then after asking the query disconnected the line. when tried to reach again dosent picks the call.

          When we are expected to pay the bills on time Why cant i expect a service from your End.. Note am expecting just a service and not exceptional service. This posted in all social media networks and in all forums, with the recordings of the BSNL customer care service to show how poorly the customer are treated. Expecting a reply asap.

          Hi,

          Even i had a very worst in my life experiance with BSNL services, People who is working in BSNL are senior citizen who dont know how to intract with customer or answer customer querry, these people are thinking that they own the world but they are good for nothing. I bought a new BSNL broadband connection 5 month ago, first 2 month it is working fine with out a problem, day by day it started to show BSNL quality.

          Internet was slow, disconnect frequently, DNS issue, phone line has noise some time dead.

          Customer service people always used to give false information, the docket number will close with out an update. The tech support guys dont know how to troubleshoot basic SOHO network issue (I am a enterprise Network Security Engineer) and speaking rubish about networking with me. Finally BSNL senior citizen came to my home to troubleshoot broadband issue and he is a guy dont know what is ethernet cable and dsl cable.

          Still my issue is not resolved. kindly dont go for BSNL broadband, best Customer service is reliance and airtel. they will do logical troubleshooting in phone and come directly to home in an hour and resolve the issue.

            I always not able to connect broadband(dataone) every day from 2pm to 6.30pm, iam getting the error message as "the remote computer did not respond" error:678... Iam facing this problem for past one week. What is the reason?

              I too got a new connection of BSNL on 28th march 2008, but it was just a telephone box for children to play till 10th April 2008 as it was not activated. After calling the fellow for 5 times and scolding him continuously he finally gave the connection after that. I really dont know what will be the billing cycle and what the hell that lineman has done on my telephone, i still dont know what tariff he has given to me!!!

                My complaint has a more pathetic story than the complaints above. I have been facing problems with BSNL broadband since past 6 MONTHS. Frequent disconnection is the major issue. The telephone line is very noisy. Repeated Complaints was register at the call center but to no vain. Nobody seems to be responsive. Now I am sending this mail after 6 days of NO BROADBAND connection. It may get cut at any moment. Inspite of paying a monthly rent to BSNL, I go to the internet cafe to browse.
                Hope I get a solution to my problem soon.

                  Our bsnl broadband is not connecting for the last 1 month!!!!!

                  From past 20 days my BSNL Broad Band is not working, I have given complaint several times, I also gave Complaint to BSNL South, DVG Road, but nothing worked out. I got frustrated calling everyday & gave an application for the disconnection of both landline & broadband, one of the Engineer from BSNL came home & assured me that the problem will be solved in a day or two, also told me to withdraw the application for disconnection, I did as he said, Its been 1 week, no news!!! I did a foolish thing of withdrawing . I could have got disconnected by this time. I am really disappointed with BSNL and the Staff as well.
                  They keep saying, the password should be reset...who should do this???? If Someone of BSNL is reading this..., please tell me how long it takes to reset the password??...20 Days???. I have been to the BSNL offices several times inspite of my busy schedules...the kind of response that I received was hopeless...Just diverting from person to the another. I wasted my time like anything. Please tell me if it is not going to happen...So that I can find any alternative for this because I badly need internet connection.

                  From past 20 days my BSNL Broad Band is not working, I have given complaint several times, I also gave Complaint to BSNL South, DVG Road and met a staff by name Mr Hrishikesh, but nothing worked out.                   BSNL Internet services (high speed and Broad band services) are the Pitiable example for the inefficiency and the arrogant employee Attitude of PSU s In india I don’t think 30 years or more from Now BSNL will change, it will be the same in its services and Attitude Towards its costumers. When they have installed the High-speed internet Via Wireless services, they have offered a high bandwidth of 250 kbps we never expected what they have promised but at least why cannot BSNL give one third of that. Now because of law bandwidth the wireless connection is “less connection “Before we log on to the browser the connection goes off even if we get connected it won’t even sustain for five minutes on the status window it is always shows 240 kbps but Bandwidth Meter Online Speed Test you get only 27.2 at the midnight or early morning. The online test result is as follows.

                  So it is absolute cheating at least why cant BSNL be honest and transparent and disclose that they can only give Breaking, Slow, Network, and Limited Services, always breaking and never connecting internet services I have Ever experienced.

                    cent percent correct, bcoz same thing happened for me. I have booked the new broad band line, work order no, 29019846. 2 - 3 times BSNL PERSONS are contacted me through my mobile phone, asked about the address after that no reply from them. very poor service from BSNL in this competition field so many private broadband service providers are waiting to connect their line to us.In future relating officers please see these type of matters very seriously.I hope they will do the needful.
                    I am really feeling sorry to see your mail this time... as I went for BSNL becuase Airtel cheated me by deducting my advance money from my account around 3000/- and after that they rejected my application form saying ports are not available after checking 2-3 times also. I can say that, people in bangalore want all the money and more then that.. but they dont want to work as they are expected.

                    If you have any contact numbers for higher officials in bangalore BSNL, please share with me.

                    I booked it last week, a person called shantaraju, he says himself as AE in BSNL Koramangala office, claiming that he will give connection on very next day... its almost 10 days from then now.. and he is not showing up, took advance from me and escaped. much of cheating in Bangalore. special servce industries.                     This Shantaraju (mentioned by shailesh.dyade) from BSNL is a Big fraud. I have booked for a landline through BSNL website. then the following takes place.
                    1- Received a call from a Lday stating that she is from BSNL and will provide connection.
                    2- Receives a call from Shantaraju (he says himself as AE in BSNL Koramangala office) and told me that, the lady is a fraud.
                    3- Shantaraju told he will checl with his team for the connectivity and will call back.
                    4- Shantaraju calls me and confirms the connectivity - post that he sends a person to collect money for collection
                    5- i have recived work order number, but no updates from BSNL in terms of connection and calls up Shantaraju. he responds saying that BSNL is slow in getting things done (and abuses his own people)
                    6- followed up for another 2 / 3 more weeks - NO proper responses all excuses
                    7- its been more than a month now - he says they won't be able to provide connection ?????? and doesn't responds to my calls. I have reached out all helplines ... no help was offered

                      Dear Sir/Mam,

                      We are having a broadband connection of BSNL on number[protected] in the name of M/s CLIMAX TRADING COMPANY, 26, ANAND INDUSTRIAL ESTATE, MOHAN NAGAR, GHAZIABAD(U.P.). Our connection was dead from last 20 days.

                      We were given numbers for complaint or for any problem while installation. First we given our complaint on given number[protected] to Mr.Hariom, by which two line men of our area visited our unit and check all the lines, they said that there is some problem from exchange and they will check the same and will rectify it immediately, but no action was taken, on complaining again and again on same number Mr.Hariom gave us number of SDO Mr. R.C.Prasad that is[protected] which never connects, in the mean while along with monthly bill of our phone we received an advertisement for Broadband connection on which there is one customer care number is written that is 1957, which on dialing gives the amazing message that is " THIS NUMBER IS TEMPORARILY OUT OF SERVICE", one cant imagine that the number given in advertisement gives such a wonderful message on dialing and on dialing again and again by chance it got connected and we had given complaint on this number also. Then we got landline number of SDO[protected] from Mr. Hariom that also on dialing several times also connected by chance and we again have a conversation with one more officer whose name is Mr. Subhash he also written the complaint, but after talking to him 2-3 times and assurance given by him no person visited our place.

                      To connect to any BSNL office phone number for one time we have to dial phone for 20 to 30 times that is very frustrating.

                      After complaining so much no person visits our place and we have taken fax number of GM Telephones and Ministry of Communication and fax the detailed letter of complait on 3rd april, 2008. A new story starts after that, on 3rd afternoon we received call from some BSNL office that our broadband is working or not, we said no, again after 2 hrs some person again called and asked the same thing and this process goes on till 4th evening and we said that this connection will work only if some engineer visits our place to rectify the error and they just going on asking whether it gets started or not, but no person arrives at our unit.

                      On 5th morning we received a call from SDO office of Mr. Subhash asking again whether our broadband connection is working or not, we were not able to understand what nonsense was going on and we called at GM office number on which we talked to Mrs.Vimlesh there and she assured that someone will definately visit by today afternoon and Mr. Gaurav visits our unit after so many days to see the complaint and said that there is some problem from Raj Nagar Exchange and he called from our unit and explain the problem there and assure us that it will start working in next half hour. After 2 hrs when he left somebody from BSNL office again called and gave us one telephone number and said that we have to explain error number on this new number, on several attempts we got connected to that new number and explain the error to them, he again assured that it will get started within half hour, but it will not and it comes to 5 PM in the evening and we again called on that number but no one picks the phone and our broadband connection is still not working.

                      We have a Broadband connection of Airtel from last 3 years at our home, which was not disconnected for a second till we have taken connection, their customer care number connects in seconds, if we require any service from their engineer they arrive at our place in few hours.

                      We dont think that service like this will make BSNL exists for a long time in todays competitive market and now we will advertise this experience given by your department due to which we face major losses and delays in our working process.

                      One can never expect this bad service of BSNL with their customers.

                      Now we are so much fed up that we dont wants to carry on this connecton with BSNL and Government must have to take some serious action against these ir-responsible peoples working there who dont have any reponsibility with them.

                      I am Director in the Government of India and presently posted in the Mi9nistry of Health & Family Welfare. I am residing at H. No. 141, Gyan Khand-III, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. I have an WLL Telephone Connection Number[protected] at my residence. On my request to instal a normal land line connection in place of existing WLL connection, the BSNL has installed the instrument, however, the same has not yet been made operational. Also my request to disconnect the existing WLL connection has not yet been heeded too.

                      All my request through personal visit and writing to the local exchange has not yielded any result. Non-wortking of the telephone has been affecting badly my official as well as pewrsonal work.

                      I am compelled to approach you through this method.

Subsequently, we had registered another complaint at the Rajinder Nagar telephone exchange, but it has also not materialized.

                      Without telephone, our connectivity with outstation relatives has been completely cut off and we are facing a lot of day-to-day problems like LPG booking, its follow-up, interaction with school, office and other service providers.

                      since 5th of this month I had given my dead telephone for repairs at your lotulim exchange . now since then i have to use my neighbours telephone at my residence during emergencies etc Now i want back my telephone apparatus in working condition

                      I am very sad to say that your BSNL department not take any moral responsibilities. I have connection No. 2742735 as Broad Band. I want to make a complain against your Pratap Vihar Exchange official person as well as SDO because they people has been harrased me deposit my BSNL bills. In Sept.2009 I got there three times with cheque and cash but billing clerk not accept amount as following resion:
                      1. 1st day she said your cheque amt is less than bill, I have make a cheque Rs.917/- for bill date 04.08.2009. And then I make the correction and next day give the cheque of amounting Rs.937/- but again she refuse and said only cash will be taken by us. Again my wife goes there with amounting of cash Rs.937/- but in that time billing clerk again refuge taking the cash and said you pay this bill in next month.
                      2. Now today I go pratap vihar exchange for depositing a bill amount of two month with consolidated cheque of Rs.1842/- with current month bill (Rs.905/-). And meet the SDO for depositing my bill amount but SDO say our computer will not accept this amount and you pay cash for this bill. But I say to SDO that I have mentioned separately cheque amt in overlep of cheque. But officer not accept my request and say go Raj Nagar and deposit there your bill.

                      Finally as I am very oldest customer of BSNL and now if I will not get any satisfactory answer from you then I will be decide to disconnect my connection due to harrasment by your department.

                      BSNL — not working of basic phone

                      Sir,
                      I have a BSNL basic phone No. 2662807 in the name of Anand Kumar under the jurisdiction of Meerut telecom district. This telephone is often found not working. Several complaints have been lodged but the problem has not been addressed appropriately by the BSNL authorities. The overhead cable is damaged at various points, but it is overlooked. The problem remains inspite of repeated complaints. Their personnel came and gone but could not solve the problem. Kindly do the needful in this regard.

                        Hi,
                        I have a broad band connection and have been facing too many issues right from the beginning. I got the connection in last January 2007. In March 2007 the service became unavailable and with so much of follow up with Banaswadi office,they restored my connection after 2 months.

                        BSNL used to bill my service with wrong tariff and had to visit their Banaswadi office in Bangalore quite often to regularize the bill. Now this problem is resolved from last November bill.

                        Last month they upgraded our centrex system and all our layout inhabitants accounts were updated accordingly. Unfortunately my broad band service stopped working again and after enquiring with Banaswadi office they say that my account is currently in deleted state and not able to recreate properly. They dont have any idea who deleted my account. I have been following up with them for the last 3 weeks but so far they have not restored my connection.

                        I am just wondering how we can ensure better service from these public sector service providers.

                        I have my broadband connection deleted since a month. No one has a clue in K R Puram exchange as to why this is done. I have followed up with them since a month now. They asked to contact commercial office in Banaswadi, but no one is picking up the phone there. I guess the only option left now is to return the phone connection and go for other vendor.

                          My connection no. [protected] has not done the outgoing calls . My connection is fully recharge by Rs.337and has validity of 28 feb but it is not done the outgoing calls continously from the day of recharge plz help me.

                          Dear Sir!! I owned a prepaid number +91-[protected] and since last two month ,my message service get blocked in my area only. Everytime when i try to send a message it shows " Message not sent, try again latter". However It works properly when I am out of my area. I even tried by refreshing my message centre number or puttting 00 instead of +91 ahead of that number as directed to me by Customer care support but nothing worked out well.Kindly solve my problem as soon as possible.
                          i have bought a new bsnl prepaid sim, its not activated even after 48 hours. have complianed many times. only one person only gave good response, but still problem is not solved.. in customer care they are not ready to serve the cutomers i think. they just attend the cal and put in hold.. very very poor service. please try to activate that soon.

                            I am a new subscriber to Dataone. I got my ADSL modem installed by Franchise of Transport Nagar Exchange, Agra. His name is Manoj Gupta. His mobile No is: [protected]. He charged me Rs. 250/- towards installation of modem on 7.1.2008. Next day I enquired from SDO about it. He informed that modem installation is free. There are no charges. He contacted Mr. Manoj before me and issued stern warning and instructed to refund my Rs. 250/-. This fellow did not turn up to return my money. It is simply a case of cheating.

                            Such franchise should be blacklisted. A press note should be released to prevent cheating of new subscribers

                            I have taken a new broadband connection at my home. It is working fine. I want to configure my outlook express for this so that i can make & read my all mails offline after downloading. Please guide me.
                            I also want to know my usage time . How can i know it. Preivious i was using dialup where i was getting status anytime & icon was visible on the status bar. my telphone number is [protected].

                            As i am using this connection after coming from office. In case any query, i am finding it difficult to contact experts on the given number after 5.00 PM.

                              My phone number[protected] is not working from 7.1.2008.I have complained through phone but till today they have not taken any steps. Yesterday 11.1.2008 , my son chellakarthikeyan personally gone to sholavandan telephone exchange, Madurai division Tamilnadu, but staffs in exchange did not allow my son to write the complaint in the complaint note book. Please take neccessary steps to activate my phone .

                                  i have recived my broadband connection and user id etc on my phone line [protected] two weeks ago afte the next day i recived my details brodaband connection is not workin its always giving 691 error even i cant log in in the portal from cyber cafe though i input the user id and password as stated in the email bsnl sent me ..i have complained about the problem every where i could and i am fedup with the situtaions i think all the bsnl officers just sleep while working and this is the worst experiance ever happened to me ....they have reseted my password twice i think still not working and from my side i have done all the instalation procudure rightly ...

                                    i am resident of latur city- dist latur- working in GOVT UNDERTAKING BANK- my mobile no [protected].- plan100
                                    for govt employees . I took addon card under the bsnl scheme
                                    no - [protected]. for my wife who is also a govt undertaking
                                    employee. under the scheme when i applied to bsnl- latur circle for std and roaming facility , authorities forced me to
                                    make an additional depo of rs-800/ to make my total depo
                                    with bsnl rs-2000/ However under the scheme govt u/t employees are exempt from this. (my deposit bsnl receipt no- 8345 book 167 dated 14.7.06.
                                    now i have requested bsnl latur circle authorities- ( contacted
                                    mr- shivsamb chenale, competent officer) to provide me with std and roaming facility on my add on card - [protected]
                                    vide my application dated 03.11.2007 - duly acknowledged by
                                    bsnl. i personally visitied bsnl office several times. bsnl authorities are still insisting on an additional depo of rs-2000/ seperately for addon card, which i am not required to do being and govt u/t employee second time
                                    My application till date lies pending with bsnl latur office
