AC INDOOR UNIT MODEL NR: BI 3HW18JCFU

Installed (First Installation) this AC on 10th July & they collected INR.1500/- as a Installation charge.

After Installation we started using this AC rarely (Due to weather & our health condition's). Noticed WATER LEAKAGE & BIG NOISE IN THE INDOOR UNIT AFTER SWITCH OFF. Immediately informed to ESA compact engg & to their Technician, where they informed that, "NEW AC always its happened. Nothing to worry".

I am NOT satisfied from their answers & I keep on asked them to come & see this issue. Further, I have not used AC till resolves this issue. Due to poor response of ESA compact engg, I have logged complaint on 30th July (Ticket Nr: B[protected]) regarding this subject.

01st August - New Technician (Not Installation made person) & start addend this issue on 01st August evening 6pm to till 10pm. He has opened Indoor & outdoor unit & researched all & finally he noticed issue of "AFTER SWITCH OFF INDOOR UNIT THRU REMOTE - OUTDOOR UNIT RUNNING CONTINUOUSLY WHERE ICEBERG HAPPENING IN THE INDOOR UNIT & MAKING NOISE & WATER OUT FROM THE INDOOR UNIT". BUT AFTER SWITCH OFF MAIN SWITCH, OUT UNIT STOPPING. TECHNICIAN NOTICED THIS BIG PROBLEM & INFORMED TO ESA COMPACT ENGG. They had given instruction for repair by mobile phone to Technician, where the issue NOT solved.

FINALLY ESA COMPACT ENGG ASKED HIM (TECHNICAIN) TO BRING INDOOR UNIT MAIN BOARD FOR RESEARCH. TECHNICIAN REMOVED MAIN BOARD & TAKEN TO THIS BOARD TO THEIR OFFICE ON 01ST AUGUST.

02nd August - Again your Technician came & collected Display board & Remote control on 02nd August.

03rd August - NO RESPONSE.

04th August - After research they came & Installed Indoor main board, display board & returned back remote control during 11.30 am.When we asked regarding this issue solutions Technician's confirmed that "We will come back on evening & resolve". No other comments.

04th August - Technician came evening 6pm along with "SINGLE POLE CONTACTOR" make of ANNAPURNA for Installing in OUT DOOR UNIT. I asked why CONTACTOR to be installed in the unit? ESA Compact Engg Technician confirmed that "BLUE STAR MISSED OUT THIS PART IN THE OUTDOOR UNIT ASSEMBLY”, where this problem arise. Technician started his activity that Installating CONTACTOR in the outdoor unit, changing the wire & etc..(Without any discussions with customer ) But closing 9.43pm unable to resolve this issue. Finally Technician confirmed, we will revert back on tomorrow (05th August) with solutions. They kept CONTACTOR in the OUTDOOR UNIT coil & upper of the wiring area & closed the box & INDOOR UNIT & switch's opened conditions (Refer Photos). Also noticed after fixing this CONTACTOR, there is huge noise in the OUTDOOR UNIT (while technician doing trails). Its new issue started.

As a customer, I am NOT satisfied his answers & really upset due to exiting issue’s in the AC & new issue of OUTDOOR UNIT BIG NOISE.

In the discussions with Technician he used such a RUBBISH WORDS & HE ASKED ME TO FILE THE CASE IN THE CONSUMER COURT AGAINST BLUE STAR TO GET BACK MONEY / REPLACEMENT UNIT. In the upset manner your Technician stating that " Future don't go to Blue start AC, buy Voltas, LG AC which is good in the market"

As a customer I really surprised such a REPUTED & LARGEST AIR CONDITION MANUFACTURER IN INDIA - MADE THEIR PRODUCT WITH IN-COMPLETION / MISSED PARTS & it’s reached to CUSTOMER HAND. Also Technicians are struggling to resolve this issue on last four days & their approaches & talks are really made disappointed. Also they are recommending Voltas & LG AC's".

As a customer, I need few clarifications / answers from BLUE START before going to next steps.

1. Blue star making their products with In-completion & delivering to market?
2. Hope Blue star have such a Quality system before reaching their product to market, but still how this kind of product reaching to customer hand?
3. When your Technician noticed this issue due to MISSED PART OF CONTACTOR, why they’re NOT informing to customer before Installation of " ANNAPURNA brand CONTACTOR?
4. They tried with "ANNAPURNA" brand SINGLE POLE CONTACTOR. Please confirm BLUE STAR buying all their CONTACTOR from "ANNAPURNA"? Shall I get Blue Star latest Purchase order copy as a proof?
5. "ANNAPURNA" brand SINGLE POLE CONTACTOR - Its recommended by Blue star?
6. Noticed between 10th July to 04th August, there are multiple Technician's are came & doing all research & some time they are getting Instructions by phone from ESA compact Engg. But till today problem NOT solved.
7. Paid Rs.32, 000/- & Purchased this AC for my Personal use. But now the situation is your Technician using AC for their R&D & Learning purposes.
8. From the date of Installation on 10th July to 04th August, as a customer I am facing this much of issue means, how this AC going to work continuously on future?
9. Mainly, I worried your untrained Technician’s code of contact with customer is really worse & poor & your technician recommending other manufacturer brand, which is really Pathetic.

10. As a customer I & my family members are really upset when your technicians done all kind of operations in the NEW AC. Not only will we, any customer will cry.

11. My neighbors really blaming Blue start AC’s, where they have other brand AC’s running on long years, without any trouble.

Being professional, still I have small trust with Blue star to get REPLACEMENT of this entire unit.


NOTE: IN DOOR UNIT COMPLETELY OPENED CONDITION THEY KEPT & GONE & OUT DOOR UNIT INSIDE THEY KEPT CONTACTOR IN THE UPPER SIDE OF WIRE & COPPER TUBES. NOT FIXED CONDITION’S. AC NOT WORKING CONDITION & INDOOR UNIT & OUTDOOR UNIT HAS BIG NOISE. IF ANY SAFETY RELATED ISSUE’S HAPPANING DUE TO THIS ISSUE’S COMPLETE RESPONSIBILTY LISE WITH BLUE STAR & ESA COMPACT ENGG.
AS A CUSTOMER, I WILL NOT USE THIS AC TILL THEN GETTING CORRECT SOLUCTIONS / RESPONSE FROM BLUE STAR.

    We would like to informing that we have purchased 1 no. Of 'blue star air conditioner 1.0 ton split ac from your authorized dealer siva enginnering and invoice no 278/slm/[protected] dated 20.05.2016.

    Pl. Note that after installation we found that the ac is stopped cooling even the mode is cool with in a week of purchase.. The matter has been repeatedly informed many times and raised complaint also, unfortunately nobody has taken any initiative i. E neither sent any technician nor given any information by your dealer till date.

      Dear sir,

      We had purchased 12 air conditioner each of 5 ton split for our plant virgo décors and for other plants also. bills attached already.. we have complaint so many times for executive visit because no air conditioner is working properly and out of all, the dealer not given remote of 1 ac also. my ticket number is b[protected], other ticket number – b[protected]. doing follow up with your customer care executive on daily basis but they are not able to resolve the problem. if step not taken any we need to file complaint against your company and services that you have done fraud with us and not resolving our problem.

      This is a request to you to please look into the matter otherwise we need to go to consumer court.

        I have bought an a. C. From cool operate center bareilly. When i requested for service after 9 months. They registered our complaint. However they didn't provide us the service after complaint. We again registered a request again, still they didn't provide us the service.

          I purchased 3hw12vc - split ac dated on 15th may.2015 @ saravana home appliances chennai.
          Cooling function of ac is not working @ the month of april.2016 and complaint was registered - reference no - b[protected].
          Service technician from kavi enterprises visited and refilled the gas in outdoor unit, problem resolved on 5th april 2016.
          And the same issue is repeated @ the month of may 2016 and again the complaint was registered - reference no - b[protected].
          Once again service technician from kavi enterprises visited and again refilled the gas in outdoor unit, problem resolved @ 4th may 2016.
          At present, the same issue repeated again the complaint registered - reference number - b[protected].
          These issue made me depressed a lot. I lost the hope and faith had on blue star brand.
          Since we are in summer, not able to sleep without ac. So please take immediate action.
          Need discussion regarding continual arrival of same issue with your customer service team and management representatives.
          Also am really disappointed with kavi enterprises (Dealer for service) for the service they did.
          I spoken to kavi enterprises (Blue star dealer for service) right now regarding issue, they told that they will come and check ac condition and they will confirm the failure and say that it is chargeable..
          Since it is not the first time to see the issue, this failure analysis to be done at the first time visit. But these people for the two times just came and filled the gas and told no problem in ac only gas to be filled like that.]
          Now once (From this month) the warranty period got expired these people telling that they want to analysis the ac condition.
          Very worst service
          Request to take action on kavi enterprises for their careless service.
          Kindly send experience proper faithful service team to check and analyze.

            Hello sir/madam,

            My split acs are in yearly amc service, both acs are only 2 years old.

            In the month of may 2016 your technician did the scheduled usual servicing and reported that one of my split ac has gas leakage. (Please be informed that same thing had happened in the month of september 2015)

            After this my nightmare started with bluestar india, after subsequent visits from your technicians with different reasons every time (Filled the gas once).

            Again after hardly 2 weeks, same ac started water leakage from indoor unit, yesterday your technician finally concluded that my ac's condenser (2 years old ac) has to be replaced.
            As per him, since it is a aluminum condenser and while selling this product dealer did not give you enough information and fooled you about the condenser types.

            My questions to bluestar india-

            - why company selling faulty and less reliable aluminum condensers if those are not even good enough for 2 years?
            - why your dealers not giving right and adequate information to customer and fooling the customers around?
            - why your technicians took so much time and so many visits to understand the actual problem?
            - who is going to bear the cost of new copper condenser which is around 5-6 thousand inr?
            - what is the guarantee from the company that after replacing this their wont be any further nuisance as i am facing since last 2 years from bluestar acs?

            I trusted bluestar as a big and reputed name in the field of acs, but seems i was wrong.

            Expecting prompt and positive response from bluestar india.

            Thank you Sunita Dcosta and Gitesh Khambe for prompt response and action. Yesterday technician visited my place and replaced the AC Condenser . The only thing needs to be mentioned, replaced new Condenser is also of same material as earlier (Aluminium Condenser) which are not durable as per technicians. I hope this new Condenser does not start giving same issues again.

              This is Deepak Brahambhatt i have purchased a Blue Star Water Dispenser from Vijay Sales at C.G.Road, Panchvati Branch, Which was Purchased on 10.05.2016, I have problem of electric shock from the product while touching the dispenser. I have already Complaint many time to Vijay Sales and they just give me a Complaint Number: B[protected] Dtd: 09.06.2016, but still no one has reached at home for checking, also i have contact directly to Blue Star Customer Care person (Mr. Himanshu) on number: [protected] but they are not given any favorable reply.

                We would like to informing that we have purchased 1 no. Of 'blue star cooler vc1000a' from your authorized dealer m/s. N. B. Refrigeration at 16/2, bose pukur road, kolkata-700042 vied tax invoice/challan no. Nbr/sale/16-17/rsb/170 dated 31.05.2016.
                Pl. Note that after installation we found that the door of cooler is sweating very much. The matter has been repeatedly inform almost in every day to your above mention dealer over phone, but unfortunately nobody has taken any initiative i. E neither sent any technician nor given any information by your dealer till date.

                Therefore, we are requested to make the necessary arrangement for early action in this matter.

                  I brought a window ac of blue star in aug 2014 from a dealer at amritsar. As we brought it in aug, in that particular we have not used the ac much. Sometimes it auto trips, we ignore the problem as it was not very frequent. Next year we are facing the same problem. With time the problems increases.In aug 2015 i logged a complaint, the engineer visited our residence. He simply said that it was a minor fault of sensor and he had rectified it. But the problem again started after two three days. I again complained, again another engineer visited and rectified it (According to him). But the problem remains the same. I again complained it (Third complaint in aug). Now another engineer visited and said that there is a fault in compressor and we have to replace. As my warrenty expired two days back, i have to bear the charges of gas filling and servicing. I agreed and paid the rs 3000. The ac works fine for two months and again the problem started. This year i again complained, the engineer visited and the same old dialogue "there is minor fault in sensor, i have rectified it". Now i am again facing the same problem. Whom should i contact as the service center employees confirmed that there is no fault in ac but i am facinf tha same problem as of day one.

                    I have purchased ac on 18/05/2016 and installation is prootvided as free but still 4 days is gone and installation is not and i talked their call center on 20th, 21st, 22nd for getting the installation done and commited that it will be done on 22nd till 5pm in evening and 5pm i got the call from [protected] that i will come in next 30 min and after one hour phone switched off. If for installation i am facing issue and it is not getting rectified they i am pretty much sure that if the ac will have any problem then noy body is there to solve the problem and i will be forcing to go things done outside.

                      Model : 5HW12SA1 - 5 STAR HI WALL SPLIT A/C

                      Ticket raised via phone on Apr 21st 2016 due to no cooling. Ticket B[protected] raised by service desk and assigned to VCK Enterprises.
                      Service engineer came and tested, filled the preventive maintenance checklist got my signature and left on May 3rd 2016. I received an SMS stating the ticket is closed and I have paid “0” Rs towards the service.

                      Later the person called and said they have to take the indoor and outdoor unit to their service center to do a pressure hold test to find where the leak is. Although, I insisted due to the recent house shifting that the copper pipe which runs from the outdoor to indoor might be the real cause of leakage as it was bended and twisted during our house shifting. They were not in a position to listen to that.

                      I gave away both the units to the service centre, they came after one week and installed the units back. Charging Rs 7, 400/- for changing the coil, refilling gas and transport.

                      Surprisingly, the A/C which is 3 years old has a leaking aluminum coil in the outdoor unit is the service engineers finding. However, after 2 days, the cooling again went off.

                      Ticket raised again via phone on May 7th 2016 - B[protected]. Service engineer came and tested and said now it’s the fault of the copper pipe which connects the outdoor and indoor unit. I agree to change it and they changed it on May 19th 2016 for Rs 1000/-.

                      As of writing, the A/C has lost the cooling capacity. It worked well yesterday night, but today morning it’s gone.

                      I would kindly request you to send me a service engineer (Not from VCK Enterprises) who knows the actual issue and fixes it permanently. I have spent close to Rs 8000 for an A/C bought 3 years ago and I’m not going to keep silent if this issue is not taken up by Bluestar seriously.
                      Also, do not loose your credibility by filing contracts with vendors who don’t have a clue on what they are doing.

                      The only other question is why Bluestar was not notified about the amount I paid and why I didn’t receive an sms saying I have paid this much.

                        I have purchased 1 ton split ac with 5 star rating last year in mar 15. Early this month, i logged a complaint as ac being not effective at all. 2 days later, it was attended by a local agency and was informed that ac gas was completely leaked. Since it is out of warranty, i paid 2, 300/- for filling the gas and for other normal routine clean up jobs.

                        It was ok for 2 days and the same problem repeated later. On 18th may, i logged complaint again to customer care and it was scheduled on 19th may around 12pm. It was assigned to a local service center, supra agency. From then, it was getting postponed to 6pm, 8pm and them it is postponed to 20th may. I kept calling local representative and customer care repeatedly and response remains the same. Customer care tells you that they will look into the matter on priority and local representative tells you that he will send the person.

                        I am fed up of these continuous follow ups and it is really pathetic service towards the end customer. I have lost faith in bluestar products and service

                          I bought one blue star ac in april-2015, that time sathyam pondicherry people tell yearly 3 service is free. But after 6 month no service in your side. Then i will go to sathyam shop & complaint. One service only provided your side. One month before i call to your service portal require your service (Call 6 to 7 times) but still now not receive any service your side. Take necessary action as early as possible.

                            Dear sir/mam,
                            I am mohanapraba sivakkumar from metturdam, salem, tamilnadu. We bought blue star ac in the year 2010, until now we are using with proper servicing. By the month of february 2016 due to some building reconciliation we dismantled the outdoor unit and mandelled it on 18/03/2016 on that day service engineer did servicing for the ac but we heard a rattling sound after service (This was also noted by the engineer, he told this is due to vibration and it will gradually reduce and he went off), but the sound started louder, we called upon to the service center but no response from them, by running back of them for about 15 days we got a technician who told that blower pin is missing and need to fix it. More than one month passed we are continously calling him, his number is either busy or he replies as he will send the engineer on the same day, but nothing happened. And finally on 03/05/2016 we posted a complaint online and got the card lock number " b[protected]" and will be attended by"raj cool care, salem" on 05/05/2016, but on that day i got a call from the service center as it is postponded to 07/05/2016, and send a message to me, i too left as it was only two days and told them as i am having a six months old little baby who s suffering a lot because of this problem. They told as they will rectify the problem. On 07/07/2016 one techinician came measured the length of indoor unit and went off then i got a call from service center as we have to change the blower we need to place an order for new material and it will take a week and so they sent me a message as the problem is resolved. But nothing happened. Today 09/05/2016 i rang up to the service center ([protected]) to confirm weather they have placed the order for the concerned material and to let me know the cost, but they started from the first as what problem you are having 'i was really really shocked' to here this, and i asked them is this the nature of response, for that they told they will contact the concerned techinician and make a call to me but they dint make any call or no response from their side. Now our outdoor also started to rattle and we are unable to convince our neighbours for that sound. Please atleast cosider my little baby for this summer and kindly rectify the problem as soon as possible. " i am really disappointed by the response of those service center people. If they can rectify they can say yes if not they could say what is the difficulty with me. This may be such a long story but it really means to us more. And kindly guide me whom should i follow to get a proper solution for this problem. Kindly do the needful.

                              We are very much disappointed by the service team.we are having problem in our ac(water is leaking inside-full water).so we called the company ac service men to come and do the service yesterday morning-03/05/2015 . he informed us that he will be coming in the evening to do the service, but till now he didnt come .we called so many times, he didnt pick up . finally he picked up when i called him from my personal number.he told that he cant do the service today as he is busy with other work, but he is not ashmed of the promise he made.we are so dissapointed by the bluestar.if you really value your customer feedback.Kindly make it correct as soon as possible.

                                Dear employee of the india's largest air-conditioning company,
                                Am one of your customers from chennai, am a home user. It's been a year since i purchased the blue star invertor ac from rathna fan house, t nagar, chennai. And suddenly 13 days before my warranty gets over the ac stopped cooling my room, i figured it could possibly a coolant issue.

                                Step 1
                                I called up your toll free customer care centre, they registered a complain. After which i neither received a confirmation message nor a call from the service center.

                                Step 2
                                I called up the dealer from whom i bought the ac and he provided me with a local service centre number(Which i have mentioned below). I registered a complaint saying that my ac is not providing enough cooling. They sent a service engineer after three days and that guy came and did a general service. I asked him about the lack of cooling, he said it because of the dust. He waited for a few minutes to find its still not cooling and said he is not qualified to check that issue and also he doesn't have the required equipment to find the coolant level (Note: my actual compliant was lack of cooling).

                                Step 3
                                I called up the service centre again and explained the problem. They promised that they would send a person the next day. But nobody turned up.
                                I called them the next day and explained that my warranty is about to expire and they said it is fine, even if it gets delayed they would do the repair under warranty and they also promised to send a person in two days, again nobody turned up.
                                I called them again after two days, they said the technician is on leave and will visit in two days. I waited patiently, i couldn't use my computer with which i do my work in the day because of the heat in chennai, but waited. As usual nobody turned up.
                                I called them again, guess what their reply was? They said that all of them are really busy with new ac installations and asked me to wait for one more week. Yes i said it right one more week! Are you kidding me? When did having a lot of installations became my problem?

                                Step 4

                                I honestly don't expect the work to be done by posting this but i want to make sure that you people know the state of your after sales service.

                                  m a dentist practicing n stay in airoli (navi mumbai) and had installed 2 ton bluestar ac in my clinic..its been almost 2 n half years since da ac has been installed.. i hav filed up al da reports of complaints made to da da local guy from where da ac was purchased al des years.. not a single time ny blue star guy has come and examined it.. now my local guy is also calling him since one month as he said.. but still no one has even bothered to give a cal n ask for da issues... i need a replacement for da ac on immediate effect. hopefully by sending dis atleast my issue gets solved as i m fed up by dis ac since more dan 2yrs.. n as it is installed in my clinic it adds to da frustation.. please do da needful

                                  Maine blue star ka water dispancer purchase kiya ta july 2015 me tab se hi wo sahi se work nhi kr raha h kabi pani leak hota h toh kabhi bottle place m ice jaam jati h
                                  I purchased 3HW12VC - Split AC dated on 15th May.2015 @ Saravana Home Appliances Chennai.
                                  Cooling function of AC is not working @ the Month of APRIL.2016 and complaint was registered - Reference no - B[protected].
                                  Service technician from Kavi Enterprises visited and refilled the GAS in outdoor unit, problem resolved on 5th APRIL 2016.
                                  And the same issue is repeated @ the Month of May 2016 and again the complaint was registered - Reference no - B[protected].
                                  Once again Service technician from Kavi Enterprises visited and again refilled the GAS in outdoor unit, problem resolved @ 4th may 2016.
                                  At present, the same issue repeated again the complaint registered - Reference number - B[protected].
                                  These issue made me depressed a lot. I lost the hope and faith had on BLUE STAR brand.
                                  Kindly take action on above issue and resolve permanently.
                                  Please communicate what action and how you are going to resolve ?
                                  Since we are in summer, not able to sleep without AC. so please take immediate action.
                                  Need discussion regarding continual arrival of same issue with your customer service team and management representatives.
                                  Also am really disappointed with KAVI enterprises for the service they did.
                                  I spoken to KAVI enterprises right now regarding issue, they told that they will come and check AC condition and they will confirm the failure.
                                  Since it is not the first time to see the issue, this failure analysis to be done at the first time visit. But these people for the two times just came and filled the GAS and told no problem in AC only GAS to be filled like that.]
                                  Now once (From this month) the warranty period got expired these people telling that they want to analysis the AC condition.
                                  Kindly send experience proper faithful service team to check and analyze.
                                  Request to take action on KAVI enterprises for their careless service.

                                    atleast one ac was working till yesterday but today that is also not functioning.

                                        I registered for a General service with the customer care on a friday, requesting for service on Saturday. After that there was no response till Saturday afternoon. Called CC again and asked the status. They asked me to call Sona enterprises and gave a number, which has no response. Today it is Wednesday. Still no response from Blue star or Sona Enterprises.

                                        Whenver i call to Sona ernterprises, that number is not picked up. When i call to Blue star CC they keep on telling we will check with Sona Enterprises and call you again. Simply waste of time calling these 2... Need to get serviced by some other vendors...

                                        After i logged a complaint here, it was escalated to the escalation department. To my wonder, things happened in lightning fast after that. Some sales manager called me immediately and got people for servicing. He assigned technicians from "Kavi Enterprises" and got it done with 4 hrs on the same day. Thanks to all the people behind this and made it happen. Seems the problem is with the service partner "Sona Enterprises"
