Dear Sir,
In complain Box there is remark as "Resolved", But I have not yet received any Approval or confirmation by e-mail or letter for installation of 1 Ton A.C. in my residence. I have received a SMS as Delivered in next 4 days on dt 25.10.14 . Please look into the matter urgently and do the needful for confirmation & oblige.

    Dear Sir, This is to bring to your notice that CESC has over billed us in the month of July 2014. To make a complaint my father went to CESC Head Office in Chowringhee and reported the matter. He requested them to check the meter if it has gone faulty. On 21-Jun-14 due to some reason there was fire caught in meter room which was notified to CESC and later they installed in wire from main. After several follow ups one fine day, 3 days before Durga Puja 2 Meter Inspector visited us to check the meter. They carried out their checks and went back saying that we will get to hear from CESC office on the report prepared by them after festival. When we did not hear from them my father again went to the office and spoke to the same officer who assists on excess billing issue. He informed my father that he had not received any report from the meter inspection cell and therefore we will have to wait for some more days. He even said that he will call and notify us as soon as he get the information but did not called till date. By then it was time for next bill however we did not receive any sort of communication from CESC at all. On 13-Oct-14 when we were out to visit a Holy Shrine in Ajmer few CESC officers came and disconnected our meter stating that we did not pay our bill since July 2014. They handed over the seizure letter to our neighbor and left with our meter. As you must have known by now why we did not pay our bill as it was incorrect. The bill was 10 times higher than our regular monthly bill and therefore paying something unexpected was not feasible by us. This act by CESC not only took away the electricity from our house but also brought down my father's image in the locality. We are not rich but respected because of my father's humbleness. Till date we have never failed to pay any bill in time and this was one such instance where we did not clear the bill keeping CESC notified of excess billing. When we returned on 17-Oct-14 we found a letter from them stating that they found our meter tampered and as per the Assessing Officer they have imposed a fine of 44, 000/- on us and a hearing is scheduled on 28-Oct-14. The letter left us in shock. This was something that we will never think of doing in our dream and now we are being held as thieves. Without taking any rest my father went to the CESC office and met the same officer in-charge who denied to listen to him and asked to meet the person in the letter on the scheduled date. We are in total fix and see no justice. We are being cheated by all. Not sure whether they actually found our meter tampered or they are cooking stories to extract money from consumers. We hardly look at our meter any day as the key to the meter room is kept in the Mosque (adjacent to our building) for CESC officer who comes to record monthly reading. Both Mosque and our building is owned by Calcutta Muslim Orphanage so no tenant disagrees in keeping the meter room key at a common place. I am the only son and the only earning member in the family. I am an IT Engineer and is posted in Hyderabad. I will be in Kolkata next week. Please advice me what steps should I take to counter this issue? I am not paying the excess bill or the fined amount as I know I am not guilt. I have attached a latest copy bill which is in my father's name.       Dear sir, i got offer letter by cesc, REF NO: 03/12207/14, calcutta central district 15/1 chowringee square kol 700069, but my address come 45/H/6 Tiljala rd kol 46 intead of 42/f tiljala rd kol 46. I went to cesc office and had a complaint with docket no[protected]. Though the show scan document has right address even the are not making my address change saying apply for fresha.[protected]

          Dear sir, This is to bring to your notice with high importance I Moon Moon kundu having consumer no -[protected], consumer id - [protected] that I m receiving abnormal electricity bills for the last consecutive four months this is being going on for a while now so I will request you to pay attention to this to the problem that I m facing with whereas I don’t you to get this kind of electricity bills before if you kindly check my last four months electricity bills for the month of (june, july, sep, oct ) that will give you an impression of the abnormal way I am charged and being a consumer this Is not at all satisfactory and expected . I demand a checking of my electricity meter and as per your electric meter reader insisted and recommended us to get a testing done on the meter as he suspects there might be a damage or the meter might have gone faulty so I will kindly request you to get my meter tested and checked and as soon as possible by your engineer and I hope and expect an action plan will be taken very soon and this will be resolved at the earliest .             Dear Sir, I am writing this email note to you as we are unable to get on line payment system that was in working condition until we paid our last CESC bill for our flat at Calcutta South City residence bill dated 07/03/'14, bill paid on line dated 05/052014.. Please note we the owner of the flat No. 14, in Tower 3, South City Residence, 375 Prince Anwar Shah Road, Kolkata 700068. Bill customer no. [protected] name Sakuntala Dutta, payment done from HDFC Bank a/c reference no 19154695 transaction date 05/05/14 amount Rs.1362.00. We came to know later on that the electricity line was disconnected when my brother in law who lives in London went to our flat to stay for his holiday for two weeks in August this year. Still we do not know why the line was disconnected for no reason. We were never defaulter in bill payment from London that was available to us on line. We sent a letter to the Customer Relation Officer of the CESC Office at 6 Mandeville Gardens, Kolkata 700019 to enquire why we are unable to get connected to our on line service and not getting any further bills that needs to be paid. More over the line is still disconnected. The letter was posted as a registered letter from London but till to date we did not get any reply from the CESC Office.                               Respected sir: Myself Malati Dutta, My consumer id no is [protected], I have paid my last month(August)2014 electricity bill by Net banking, of Rs 1070, from SbI, my amount deducted but dont get any payment receipt by email or sms.The date was on 22/9/2014 at 19.14 pm.So I paid the bill next time on 23/9/2014, (Second time) and this time I get payment bill by email.But my problem is that my first amount till not refunded to my sbi ac.Please look into the matter.                                       With the reference of latter dated - 15th sep 2014, consumer no- [protected] & customer id no- [protected] we are already give the application for excess in monthly billing and request to change the meter, but we have not received any responce from CESC. from last few months I have received an abnormal electricity consumption bill which is an absurt amount.This much of amount has hardly been consumed in the last 06 months.Our average billing amounts between Rs.380- 700/=.This is for further information that we have not purchased or used any sort of high power consuming appliance like AC/Micro oven/ Electric oven or Kettle etc.I have even put up a complaint in CESCs' website so that things can be re-looked but till date I got no response nor any calls from their end. Requesting you to look the matter and let me know so that I get proper solution in this regard. Your co-operation is highly solicited. Regards. Amit srivastava
