I paid an amount of Rs 250 on 19th Nov, 2014. And I did not received any receipt against the payment. I don't know whether it has been done against my account. Consumer Number -[protected] Bill Number - [protected]. Hope You'd take immediate action.

    My Consumer No [protected] On 18.11.2014, I have paid On line Electricity Bill Payment of Rupees 2, 451.49 for the month of Oct'2014 through HDFC net banking. But unfortunate, e-receipt not generated, I have not received neither any payment receipt from online system of CESC, nor email also, although the said amount had debited from account. Help !

    I have paid a bill for consumer no. [protected] amounting to Rs. 7344.49 from my United Bank of India Netbanking on 20.11.2014 at 13:39:18 Hrs.

    Unfortunately the E-receipt has not been generated but the amount has been deducted from my bank account. Transaction reference no. is CESC /[protected].

    Please make sure that the amount has been credited to the above consumer no. account or not? Otherwise investigate properly & do the needful and issue me the e-receipt or credit the amount to my bank account, i[censored]nsuccessful.

    This is to inform that CESC has sent e-receipt in my registered mail box on 20th Nov. The same thing happened to me what you have stated in comments on 17th Nov. I was bit worried, but thanks to CESE for the responses and the e-receipt.

    I think if you did the transaction on 20th NOV then you may get the e-receipt by 24th possibly, when they verified your transaction with the bank. So I think not to worry much because you have transaction details from the bank side.

    Also, I think CESC has to rectify or maintain their system so that the e-receipt get generated smoothly during the transaction

    I want to pay bill online. But through the link they are showing " this customer does not have facility for online payment". Please help.

          My Consumer No [protected]. On 17.11.2014, I have paid On line Electricity Bill Payment of Rs 508.00 for the month of Oct'2014 through my Axis Bank Debit Card. But unfortunate to note that, I have not received any payment receipt from online system of CESC, although the said amount allready debited from my account. Yesterday I have contacted CESC Customer Care and informed the undersigned that, it will take 48 hours to genearte the receipt, without giving any specific reason. Further, while in attempt to pay for 2nd time, the CESC web portal is allowing the system for payment. Such gross negligencies from the CESC part is never expected. Sub: Complain for high charged Bill in the month of November 2014 compared to November 2013. Dear Sir, I would like to draw you kind attention that as per above data am a consumer of your service and never failed to pay the subscription ever on time, but suddenly I felt that this November, 14, Bill No [protected] is exorbitantly high than last year November 2013 (all documents attached). As this came in my mind as there was no excess usage of Electricity as per general usage even in the last years also but your reading shows so high which is not correct accordingly . I think. For you kind perusal attaching the bills from May to September 2014 (as this is the summer time, usage of Electricity is high in this time generally ) where in the Bill does not show high. But this time I don't get either any e-bill receipt to print after completion of my payment, nor I receive any receipt in email. I was informed that this cheque was returned from my house in September 2014 due to non availability of members in my house.                                   Dear Sir, My billing of October 2014 was nearly double. On an average where consumption had been between 260-286 units, suddenly I find that the consumption was showing 434 units in Oct'14. This figure is absurd as no extra commodity was used and on top of that my microwave oven was non-working for last 1.5 months.
