With the reference of latter dated - 15th sep 2014, consumer no- [protected] & customer id no- [protected] we are already give the application for excess in monthly billing and request to change the meter, but we have not received any responce from CESC. from last few months I have received an abnormal electricity consumption bill which is an absurt amount.This much of amount has hardly been consumed in the last 06 months.Our average billing amounts between Rs.380- 700/=.This is for further information that we have not purchased or used any sort of high power consuming appliance like AC/Micro oven/ Electric oven or Kettle etc.I have even put up a complaint in CESCs' website so that things can be re-looked but till date I got no response nor any calls from their end. Requesting you to look the matter and let me know so that I get proper solution in this regard. Your co-operation is highly solicited. Regards. Amit srivastava

    I am a widow of 65 years old, living alone in my ground floor at 117/7, Kalipada Mukherjee Road, Behala, Kolkata-700008. More than a year ago I applied for a new connection to CESC Ltd. for my ground floor flat, which stands in my name. A primary inspection was also done at my flat and it was decided that my meter will be installed in my balcony which is fully covered with iron grill. But I was denied for the connection because one Mrs, Debjani Ghosh Dastidar, who is the owner of the first floor of the same premises, has not paid her electricity bills since long. On this ground CESC authorities disconnected her line and now they are saying that a new connection will not be provided in my name until the entire dues are paid along with fine. CESC is at liberty to collect the money from Mrs Debjani because she is the defaulter in this case. But I am unable to understand why CESC is punishing me by not providing me new connection in my name. I am not the defaulter. Since last one year I am staying alone without electricity and spending harrowing days and nights. SAROJ SETH

    I am unable to understand why CESC Ltd. is not providing the connection in this case. It looks like Mr.X has stolen something and the authorities are punishing Mr. Y for that theft.

        Respected sir: Myself Malati Dutta, My consumer id no is [protected], I have paid my last month(August)2014 electricity bill by Net banking, of Rs 1070, from SbI, my amount deducted but dont get any payment receipt by email or sms.The date was on 22/9/2014 at 19.14 pm.So I paid the bill next time on 23/9/2014, (Second time) and this time I get payment bill by email.But my problem is that my first amount till not refunded to my sbi ac.Please look into the matter.           I reside in Flat no 4 B, Sripal Apt, 107 NSC Bose Road, Tollygunj, Kol-40. My consumer id is [protected] and my consumer no is [protected]. For last three months I have not been getting correct bill; In June 14, it was some 100/-, in July 110/- and in august 14, itis 56/-. My average monthly bill should come to range of[protected] per month. I am not sure whether there is someting wrong with the meter or the person, who comes to take meter reading, is not taking correct meter reading. Recently I have gathered that above meter connection against my name has been disconnrcted & changed to Mr Shounak Mandal's name. In this context pl note that neither I have given any consent in writing nor I have authorised any body to surrender my above mentioned meter connection. Pl let me know how my meter has been cancelled by you without my written consent? In view of above you must restore my above mentioned meter connection with consumer no-[protected] & LP-139/3/3 in favour of Mr Manan Mondal & intimate me in my e-mail ID([protected]@ntpc.co.in).                   My consumer no.[protected], consumer ID [protected] I have registered complaint on 14.09.2014 and my docket no.is [protected] . We are not getting 440 line supply for the last 7 days. Have been following up with your customer care daily but no response. Lastly they have asked to contact local depot . On 20.9.2014 we have visited local depot Dy, Manager Commercial, he assured that the connection will be restored the same day. But still no action has been taken. M. Ghosh. [protected]

                    Consumer No. [protected] - ADITYA KANODIA - 7, HAZARI MULL SHAH ROAD BANDHAGHAT SALKIA HOWRAH 711106 on the 19th September, 2014 sudden at about 20.45 the electric supply was shut down. It transpired that supply was uninterrupted partially and was affected partially. Since then several complaints have been made. One of the complain Nos. is [protected] which has been made a little while ago because earlier complains did not evoke any positive action. Shockingly the hotline 1912 is a inefficient station so far as a consumer is concerned. Despite telling the gentleman (name possibly is SK Alo) about the entire situation he kept on answering one and only one reply i.e. SAMAY LAGBE WAIT KORUN which apart he die not have either the status of working or where the fault is or when it is likely to be restored. Though I told him that one phase in the same building is working because part of the supply is operating but to this also his answer was the same SAMAY LAGBE WAIT KORUN. HOW SHOCKING IS THIS ?

                          Please note that I have been unable to access your web for the past few weeks and so I am unable to my electricity bill. I am outside Kolkata at the moment, so I am unable to go there in person. Please note that, in the past, I have paid my bills online without any problem. Is there a problem with your website?                             i had called up your help line today now to register a complaint against power disruption in our locality using my mobile number [protected] There has been a power failure in and around my locality 189/1 kasba road kol 42 landmark kasba rathtala While contacted the representative montu who did not gave his full name insulted me my saying that " Apni ki bhujte parchen na " the tone was pretty bad and there was a sarcastic tone saying in a screaming voice saying the same thing again and again . I wanted to talk to the supervisor but the supervisor was equally bad and sarcastic Hope there would be voice file which will be there in your logs request you to take action against both the agent and so called supervisor Sajjad Hussain When requested for a manager he said he is the manager and call cannot be transfered I understand that i am not a high value customer of yours but yes i pay a electricity revenue of close to 4000/- per month .This is not what is expected from an essential service helpline behaviour of the agent concern was pathatic and rude

                                      Dear Sir, Ref: Consumer No: [protected] Customer ID No: [protected] Sub: Extremely Excess in Monthly Billing With reference to above consumer no. Please note that the said electric meter[protected] which being used for domestic purpose only. We are using same appliance of daily purpose since last two years. Accordingly my electric bills earlier used to be between Rs.380 to Rs.700 only, but from last few months i.e.for March’14 onwards the bill have shot up to Rs.1310 to Rs.3700 which was more than double and triple in bill amount from the previous bills which is beyond my understanding. In Event as mentioned above, would request you to look into the matter at the earliest and 1) Arrange to send some one to check the Meter[protected] and change if required, 2) Reissue the fresh bills and adjust the excess amount which was paid earlier.
