This company came to our college for selling international sims as our whole batch was about to leave for an exchange trip to US.As a part of procedures, they were asked to provide a list of handsets that were not supported so as to inconvenience . They missed my model in their list and admitted it later by the time i was in US. Then they themselves suggested within a eek that i should stop using their services and can look for a refund after I return to India. When I came back, Mr.Arun Yadav was supposed to share the details which got generated after the 10th of August, which was the Invoice. However, after multiple calls, messages, and more than 30 emails later, neither he nor any of his teammates who were marked on them cared to respond. This includes Mr.Ganesh Suvarna who was privy to this.
He replied curtly by saying that is a handset issue and not a sim issue after following up for over a month, and the company cannot do anything about it. The response came after I threatened for action. Mr.Yadav, Meanwhile, is not traceable at all.
I believe that it was misleading information that led to me purchase that sim, and caused immense inconvenience in the US once the Issue was discovered. If i stop using the services because of a mistake on the part of the company, and return the SIM, I should get back my refund of amount paid in advance by the Company.
Please also suggest what are the grounds of legal remedy under 'caveat emptor' under the Indian Sales of goods act 1930, in this case, as companies like these should be punished for their unprofessional and misleading behaviour.

After returning i along with my college returned the sim card and handset.
But still the deposit amount of rs.2000 is not yet returned.
There is no reply from their side when mail were sent to them.
We deeply regret for the inconvenience caused to you. Kindly share your RAF/Invoice number so that we can take immediate remedial actions on the same.
