Very bad quality sim cards very delivered to us from Clay Sims. We had booked 2 european sim cards online and cleared all the dues pertaining to those sims cards since they were prepaid. When we got the sims delivered, they were broken on edges and looked really old. So we called the customer support team to replace them and they outright refused saying that the sale is closed. And if we need new sims, we will have to buy new ones which meant spending another 10k on the same. Really disappointed with their attitude and service.

    I bought a clay international sim card thinking that it would solve my communication issues in malaysia. Instead it aggravated my issues. The sim card stopped working after 2 days. Despite my several calls to their support team, nobody worked towards providing the solution or working towards it. I wasted so much time and effort on an international sim card that worked pathetically for 2 days.

      My daughter who was using clay sim’s european sim card was facing constant issues connecting to any call. Despite several emails and calls, these guys took their sweet time to revert and to even then take action on the complaint that we raised. Their attitude on the call was also so casual, as if they didn’t care. We registered the complaint on her behalf on 13thof may and these guys reverted on the 17th of may. This is so much for being customer centric and excellent customer service. We would have rather paid some extra money for the comfort of being connected than use this trashy service.

        get a clay international sim card and get ripped off on your billed amount — on everyone’s recommendation, i went ahead and bought a clay sim card for us. So basically first, they charged some 10, 000 rs on my credit card saying its for security reasons and they’re blocking the money not really charging it. then when i started using their sim card in san fransisco, i experienced recurrent call drops, poor network and obviously everytime i called, i was charged. So by the end of the trip, where i experienced no such thing as ‘great service’ from clay sims, i got a billed statement for 15, 000/- rs. Not only that, without informing me, this money was directly charged on my card. After probing over the bill, i realized that there were so many calls that were charged twice for the same period. So not only did my bill reduced by 30% but also i got to know that these guys cheated me on the bill. After all this experience with these guys, i have my doubts that if i will ever be using their services again.

          I had purchased a sim card from clay telecom which was suppose to activate on 5th may 2017 for united states. I payed the advance payment of inr 2450 already. The sim didnt activate when i reached in us. Mr harit from clay telecom has informed me that he will refund the money. However till today i am just following up with them and still my money is not refunded.in this process i must have made more than 10 followup emails and 20+ phone calls, every time i got assurance but nothing was resolved. I have never seen such a bad customer service, people just make false promise.

          Here is the email threads which I am coordinating with Harit. I have also attached the copy of Invoice which I have received. I am following with these people and they confirmed me that they are going to refund the amount. However its more than a month now and still I am waiting for refund.

          3 weeks to refund the amount.. not at all good. That too after so many followups...

          What is the amount are you refunding me? You will have to refund the courier charges aswell which I had spent for returning the SIM card.

            I went on a vacation to Singapore and decided to get a Clay Sim Card to call home. By far the most pathetic experience with these guys. Average services at exorbitant prices and then while billing me, they have very conveniently over charged me, which is not as per plan! The bill includes calls which I have not even made! Luckily phones these days can keep a track of calls that you’ve made. Had I not had them, I would have been ripped just coz these guys decided to make money!

              My father in law took a Sim from them and since then I have been harassed by their employee by asking for more money and talking in extremely rude manner. In particular Shivam Bhardwaj. This harassment has happened over last 3 years. This is a highly unprofessional company and I would not recommend to anybody. I do plan to take this to police if I receive even one more harrassment call.

                  After all the monies we spent on buying a Clay International sim card, our experience while using it was below average and at points really bad. Their network in Melbourne was bad. And when you call their support team back in India, it seems like they don’t want to help you with your issue. After telling them zillion times, that the network wasn’t registering, our call got transferred to another person who we had to narrate the issue again. I did this thrice before giving it up and ultimately stopped using their sim card for the rest of the trip. Borrowed my sister’s number for the time that I was there and lived happily ever after !!

                    Clay Sim cards are pretty useless when it comes to using them in Europe. I bought a deal for 4, 000/- Rs with unlimited incoming calls and some 1000 SMS free locally and for India. I was pretty stoked that this was one of the best deals that I had come across so far, only to realize what a fail it was once I started using the number in Netherlands. Their tall claims of the services being excellent with amazing network and all, all fake. I had to struggle to get through a call. Extremely bad signals because of which obviously I could not use either my local or Internationals texts. Data speed was so poor which made it impossible for me to conveniently enjoy that also. Overall, I wouldn’t really suggest anyone to carry Clay Sims with them. You’d rather want to get one from there or look for other options.

                      Clay International Sim Cards have been the worst travel option for me. In the recent times also I have tried their services, but this time my experience with them was extremely poor. Firstly the network in Malaysia was horrible and after somehow managing that, the bill that was sent me was blown out of proportions. I was billed 15, 080 Rs for a 7 day rental of which I barely used the sim for 4 days. Having asked them to re-check it twice, they still had the same answer for me, that its fine as per the usage. After some 10 emails and calls, they actually checked their mistake where they had billed me twice for the same duration. I finally landed up paying pretty much half of what was billed to me initially.

                          Clay Telecom is the worst customer service ever! Their staff is extremely rude if you ask them just more than one question and the best time pass for them is to put your call on hold, as if they the call is free and nobody is being charged. It took me close to 3 weeks to get my money refunded and nevr am I ever going to waste my time effort and most importantly money on clay sims.

                            I have taken international sim card (499 inr plan) for philippines from rgia hyderabad in the month of may 2016. I got the invoice was for 3497 inr + taxes which is wrong. They say it was happened by mistake and they will refund the difference amount when i called their customer care. By now it is almost 10 months time, i didnt get any refund from clay.

                              Clay sim cards – worst service ever. So initially i did not take a data pack on my phone and later i realized that i’d need one. So when i called their service centre, i was told that they would activate it within a few hours and as a mandate they also emailed me. It has been 5 days now, my data services are still inactive. No matter how many times i call them or share the email as a proof of their commitment, its still inactive. Highly irresponsible bunch of people. My mistake that i chose to use you guys in the first place.

                                Plz refer to the concerned mail below recd on 13.02.17.
                                This is to bring in to your kind attention that despite my regular follow up with the concerned team telephonically & also through mail . I wish to inform you that I have still not recd. the full payment till date of the amount to be refunded to me (Rs. 2352 x 2 =Rs. 4704) which is very shocking for a company like you to behave with the customer in such a way.

                                The details are hereunder. I recd. 2 chqs of Axis Bank through your normal payment mode in my HDFC Credit Card of Rs. 2352.00 on 1.10.16 & 4.10.16 but both payments were returned back due to some reason.

                                Now I recd. only one payment of Rs. 1965.81 on 30.11.16 despite my followup with you concerned team but still failed to understand that why I have recd the single payment of Rs.1965.81 as I was to receive 2 chqs of Rs. 2352.00

                                This is your responsibility to satisfy the customer where in the followup was from my side earlier with Mr. kamal since July 2016 then Ms. Ruchi & now with Miss. Koyal Nag. (Ref. No. 369122, 369328) but still not recd. any positive feedback.

                                Please clarify the pending issue in priority & release my due payment.

                                  I purchased a UK SIM (order no: 35836) at Delhi Airport for Rs. 1500/- on 19th Feb 2017. It was pre-activated SIM and supposed to work in the UK.

                                  After landing in London i was able to use the SIM for three calls (2 local and 1 international) and some data.

                                  The SIM is registered but does not connect to the network. The Expert team tried calling me and fix but no help.

                                  All these seems looking like fraud. I asked to refund and close the SIM, now response.

                                  I am taking the case to TRAI and informing all associated bodies on such malpractices.

                                  Looks the Clay team is least bothered and regular to such cases.

                                    Its better not to use clay sim cards at all because come what may, they never seem to work. But they are highly capable of sending you incorrect and inflated bills to put a massive dent in your pockets. This is exactly what I went through after using their pathetic sim card in Singapore. My sim didn’t work, but got slammed a bill of 10, 000/- rs charged directly to the card even before I could see my bill. And now am running pole to pole to get this refunded. Horrible experience of my life

                                      I had no choice but to share my experience after using a clay sim card in Europe. The worst service provider ever. It would have any day better had I bought a local siim card once I landed in Netherlands. Such pathetic services to begin with and then you have to deal with the stinking attitude of their customer staff, who not only do not know how to help you, but rather are experts in giving lame excuses of how their services are best but the backend doesn’t support. Anyways, it was an expensive and painful experience with Clay Sim cards which I would never like to go through again.

                                        The most unreliable and unsuitable international travel cards – for my own convenience I decided to use a clay international sim card in London. Worst decision ever made. When they were closing the sale, they had the best to promise, best plan, best network and so on. When I actually started using their sim card, I had to experience the worst. The worst network, the worst data speed and now am fearing the worst billed amount as well that will soon be slapped. Instead of adding any convenience to my travels, it only became a reason for regret o[censored]sing it.
