I had applied for Mahindra Club membership on 10th May 09 based on the 1 hour presentation they gave to me at their Palm Beach Galleria Mall at Vashi, Navi Mumbai. I have paid an amount of Rs.15564/- through my ICICI Credit Card.

As part of the agreement signed by me with Club Mahindra, if i did like to cancel the membership within a stipulated time period i would get a complete refund without any dedcution. The amount shall be refunded to me in a matter of 30-45 days from the date of giving the cancellation request
(Club Mahindra Membership# 1481341).

I have submitted a hand written application on 12th May and also put an email for the same for immediatlely cancellation of my application. Mahindra call center acknowledges the receipt and as well as promised me to refund my amount within 45 days. But its almost more than 2 months now i have yet to receive my amount. My wife had a personal visit to their local (BSEL park, vashi station) office twice but they have not handedover the cheque and just giving false promises.

Please help me get back my money and see that no body else is harassed by mahindra club.

    I am red season member of CM. I have been calling Club mahindra for a vacation for 25th-31st december 2009(six months in advance). The response I get is:
    1. This time slot is marked for purple members only.
    2. You will get a chance to book only 15 days in advance.
    3. You cannot upgrade to purple membership, because that is sold out.
    4. For resorts where the red season is till 28th, it is completely booked and we cannot offer booking, although we can try...
    5. We can offer you booking in one of the resorts up north(where it would be cold, but it gives you a different feel..)

    I requested to be connected with the supervisor, after 3 unsuccessful attempts, each time providing my member id, and authentication details. I was connected. He was better spoken, but he admitted that CM is infact running short of rooms and they'd fix the problem in near future.

    SO, PLEASE BEWARE OF ALL THESE POINTS BEFORE BUYING HOLIDAYS IN CM.
    1. THEY DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH ROOMS
    2. THEY ARE NOT DOING ENOUGH DUE DILIGENCE TO SEE WHICH RESORTS ARE IN MOST DEMAND AND HOW THEY SHOULD INCREASE CAPACITY.
    3. THEY HAVE A INSENSITIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE(I WAS TOLD THAT FOR THE PURPLE SEASON, I WOULD NOT EVEN BE TOLD THE AVAILABILITY, SINCE I WAS NOT PRIVILEGED ENOUGH..)

    I strongly feel that this company is a sham. It is shocking that it belongs to the Mahindra group. If Mr. Anand Mahindra is listening or reading he should take cognisance that there is no customer relationship at all. There is no one to attend to the queries and the call center personnel dont know what they are doung. Email queries are never attended to. The only thing they are prompt is in making your life miserable annually in collecting the fees. I think that the high court should sou moto proceed against them for cheating individuals by publishing glamorous ads.
    CLUB MAHINDRA HOLIDAYS IS A 100% CHEATING CLUB .WE SHOULD TAKE IT VERY SERIOSLY .FROM 72000 ( SEVENTY TWO THOUSAND) MEMBERS THEY HAVE COLLECTED MORETHAN 1000CRORE RUPEES ALSO THEY ARE COLLECTING 72CRORE RUPEES EVERY YEAR.

    WITH TWENTY RESORT HOW CAN THEY SERVE 72000 MEMBERS WITH SEVEN DAYS PACKAGE.ONLY FEW RESORT ONLY THEY HAVE 100 ROOMS.IN KODAI THEY HAVE 16 ROOMS, IN OOTY THEY HAVE ONLY EIGHT, IN BANKOK THEY HAVE SIX ROOMS.MOST OF THE PROPERTIES ARE TYUP ONLY AND NOW THEY ARE PLANING TO FLOT SHARE AND CHEAT PUBLIC

      Reference: My Membership Number to Zest: 91005004 and Ref No: 064 – 406


      This has reference to my membership with Zest and subsequent Cancellation requests made with your office.

      I signed off for the Zest package in March 2009 after calls by your agents. During the signing off day, I was offered a 2-night/3 day package from Apr 16 – Apr 18 at your ooty Resort. This was confirmed by your DSA after checking with your corporate office. I signed off on the dotted line after confirmation of the availability.

      With in a week of Signing off, I purchased a flat and informed my decision of pulling out due to financial constraints of servicing both the EMI’s.

      I was informed by your DSA that he would provide a refund of 12, 000 by transferring the advance to a subsequent buyer that eventually did not happen.

      Meanwhile officials from Club Mahindra rang up during April to inform me that my booked days were not available and could provide me days in May at another resort.( Ist breach of trust)

      I was regularly following up with your DSA for refund or a vacation with a whole lot of promises and more promises. To top it all and to my surprise, I found out that a further 4000 was deducted by Mahindra using my credit card. This is when I realized that I have been duped by your DSA. (II breach of trust)

      I subsequently got in touch with your Office and was told that they were not even aware of my cancellation request and will cancel only on receipt of a formal cancellation mail.

      So far I have paid more than Rs, 16, 000 to Zest even after communicating my decision to cancel my membership with in 10 days of signing off.

      I know a person who is not averse to unethical practices has duped me during the course of the last three months. I have been in touch with your office over the last months. If you need I can forward the details of the correspondence. It took me couple of emails and follow ups to just get your mail Id.I was also informed that I am not eligible for any vacation with out paying two EMI’s. (I was confirmed a vacation on the day of sign off!!!).

      In my professional life, I am responsible for the entire Operations of large multi national corporations. I am used to dealing with large industrial houses with ethical practices. More than the money, Iam peeved at the way I have been treated in this entire episode.

      I Consider Mahindras as one of the largest Industrial houses in India with ethical business practices. I would appreciate if you can look into the entire episode from customer’s perspective and provide a positive feedback.

      club mahindra/membership issues — Responsibility

      I had taken a membership with club mahindra in the month feb 2009.
      The executive and the manager, that is Mr Chirag and Mr Imran were very polite while they wanted to dupe us.Now when i was thinking of not going ahead with the membership they are acting smart.
      Mr Imran does not deserve to be in customer service or sales. I had spoke to him about canceling the membership and he had told that he revert with the procedure. I have forfieted the initial payment of Rs 25000, and didn't want the monthy EMI to be processed and stop the membership.
      But on 7th of may 2009 i come to know that they had already debited my account on the 23rd of april 2009. Now when i m asking to reverse the amount they are telling that they can't do it.

      I have seen many complaints against club mahindra, and i hope there is a way out.
      I have opted for cancellation of my membership within 10 days of my application.According to the policy document of club mahindra, amount paid by me should be refunded in total within 31 days of cancellation.
      My cancellation was registered on 15th of Jan, 2009 and still money is awaited. Despite of calling their customer care so many times, no certain date of refund is given.
      This is the way they work. There is no professionalism, No business ethics. They themselves don't follow their own policies. They don't honor any commitment. This is a complete fraud company.

      This is in continuation to my complaint on False promises made on 13/07/09. I wish to state that your team of personnel have taken this matter seriously and reolved the complaint to my satisfaction. I have been paid a refund of my EMI and am eligible for a 2N/3D stay at your resorts in lieu of the advance amount.

      The inetractions with your team led me to believe that I was interacting with a set of professionals who are used to ethical business practices.The conduct was smooth and business like after it was taken over by your team of personnel.

      I am facing thre same problems with both Club Mahindra & Zest.
      I have been promised holidays 7 days a year and 6 months advance booking. But I dont get holidya even 2 years from today.
      but if you can a non-member and say you are ready to pay, Then you get the requested holiday at the resort and date you want.
      This shows that although you have paid the such huge membership, you are at the mercy Club Mahindra to get you so called dream holiday.
      And when you talk of refund, it's just dosent happen.
      Hoping that the situation will change and memebrs are prefered more that Non-members.

      This is regarding the double deduction of my EMI for the month of April. Last month I had cancelled the ECS mode of payment and had deposited Post dated cheques for the remaining EMIs. However, this month, Zest has deducted both the ECS and PDC from my account. This happened 11 days back. I have repeatedly called your customer care number but I have always got the same response "The accounts department is looking into it. They will contact you within a day". But till date no one has contacted me. On one ocassion, one of your agents even gave me the accounts department number, which when I dialled said the number doesnt exist. I dont understand how long can it take to identify an error and return the money back. This is extremely frustrating and disapppointing as a couple of cheques have bounced due to this goo[censored]p of yours. I have also written to your mail id [protected]@zestbreaks.com and I always get the same response - " we will get back to you in 7 days". This has happened today and even 7 days back. Suprisingly the response doesnt change.

      Would really appreciate if you could look into the matter and release the payment as soon as possible.

      my wife, Deepali Noor, is a member of Zest Holidays. Her membership number is 91005569. We are based out of Chennai.
      We have stayed at your property in Pondicherry a few times. It was a wonderful experience. In lieu of which i have taken a membership with your organisation.
      I am trying to make a booking in Zest Masinagudi and Ooty for the next week.
      I have spoken to Shalini on 27th April 2010 reference #: 127197. The same day i have spoke to Sanjeev ref. # 127199.
      On 28th April 2010 I have spoken to Sher ref # 127377
      This after noon I have spoke to one very rude gentleman Mr Kalyan.
      He gives me a reference to his senior Mr Sanjeev tel #:[protected]. There is nio answer on this line. CONTINUOUSLY!!!
      I call back and Mr Kalyan gives me another #[protected]. This number is busy. CONTINUOUSLY!!!
      What am i supposed to do??

      2. I am dissatisfied with the services and hence wanted to terminate it with immediate effect. I have not availed any holidays/ services where as zest has deducted Rs 79740/- as EMI and another annual fee of Rs 4379 for the year.

      I am member of VERVE and took membership in 2008 for 1.5lac for 10yrs, 6 holidays every year - never told that of this 6 only 2 can be on weekend - cheating.

      1. You will find booking on weekend is almost impossible and you never get it. It opens 3 months before and gets full in weeks time - especially for long weekends.

      2. I have found out though rooms were not available after calling reservation the same was availble if booked outside through agents. It looks like Zest is not giving rooms to its member but sells it outside - especially in weekends

      3. Though you have days and weekends left when you call for reservation you will be told - "you do not have weekends left". "you have only 6 days left no weekends", you end up speding more time in booking and sorting out issues, than going outside and booking some other good resort.

      4. Inspite of not taking any holiday in the whole of year when I called up for booking I was told "I do not have any weekends left". When I asked for account balance details...there was 2 weekend left and 12 days available.

      5. As you get 6 days in a year and only 2 weekend days...so out of 6 days you have to utilize 4 day vacation on weekday only - not possible for a working managers/executive.

      Zest sucks.
      I have been taking holidays outside Zest and not using it at all. It was sheer waste of money. I would have enjoyed 25 good days in another resort for 1.5lac I paid.
      I m stalin from chennai. My membership id is 91010577, Buzz, validity from 2011 to 2111. I have not taken the bonus holidays . 60N/70D are still there. If anyone willing to buy please contact [protected]. as i m not satisfied with their attitude even before taking bonus holidays.
      Unfortunately I am also member of Zest (Pep). I am member since 2008. I never got a room on the date i requested for. I too feel like Zest is not giving rooms to its member but sells it outside - especially in weekends.

      for mistake of one person in the bangalore office i was taken a ride and after much communication the issue is being resolved by appologies by the concerned person what really baffles me is lukewarm response from Mr.Reddy zonal manager who does not bother to reply leave alone calling despite of several reminders, it was the same case with the earlier manager of b'lore present manager at-least was of help, now i am fearing whether to send money or terminate my membership and take the refund as bonus holidays could not be claimed because of the mistake of the staff for which i needed written appology from the concerned staff who spoke rudely, why do the higher ups and mahindras the members of the board do not look into the matter, and if they don't reserve when required than what is the use of being member i am thinking in the same line of selling the membership any one interested please contact [protected] i have not availed any holidays till date will anybody from zest reply and assure of good service so that i may continue and also discourage others from joining

Mr . abhijeet, mr. amit kumar and mr. chandan kunar sold the Zest holidays with 100000 of commitments., when I asked them that Now i want to go to pondicherry.. there all commitments failed. After listening I clear cut told them taht I want to cancel my membership and want my refund. Mr. amit kumar was ok with that. now after 1 week they all get away from his commitment. now these three people are harasing me like naything. daily I have to call them and daily these three are ready to fight like nayhting. Please stay away from Zest. specially in bangalore. Whenevr you see them selling their holidays.. just stay away,

      We had taken the membership from Zest Breaks- Mahindra Holidays in Dec 2010 for the amount 120741. This was for a period of 10 years. They promised us a holiday of 6 days every year till 2021. At the time we took the membership they had 6 resorts and they promised to add 2-3 resorts every year. We are in the third year and they now have only 5 resorts.We have used 3 of their resorts out of which only 1 was good. We cannot spend the rest of our 48 nights of holidays in the same 5 resorts which they have. We are trying to cancel the membership and They want to return only around 8000 from our original amount although we have only used 12 nights of holidays in the last 3 years.They have sent us the foillowing mail: Dear Mr.Menon, Greetings from Zest! Further to our discussion, we would like to retain you as a Zest Mahindra member and therefore request you to give us an opportunity to give your family and you happy and memorable holidays in the forthcoming years. However, if you do decide to terminate your association with us, please note that the following charges will be applicable. You have purchased a 10years – Buzz membership during Dec -2010.       Mahindra gave false promises of adding new locations and maintaining them exclusively for zest members. Now they have neither added new destinations nor are the zest members given preference in the zest destinations.
      ZEST REALLY SUCKS.
      Have you closed down the customer support division of zest. I had not got any response for my query other than this response.

      Dear Zest,

      I have a membership with you for the past 4 years. While I took the membership, there were 6 resorts and I was promised that there will be more resorts in future. When I check your website now, there are only 5 resorts leave alone adding any new ones. Also i was told that Zest has closed down and I have to shift to Club Mahindra membership paying higher amount. I am very disappointed with your service. Now when I call your branch office to find out, the phone numbers are not working. I called the Chennai number 3 times and i was put on hold automaticalling endlessly. Finally I found this forum where people have complained and am doing so too. Please call me back and resolve this issue.

      I have taken zest mahindra membership in 2011. I had repeatedly told the agent i will not be able to use the holidays for the first 5 years as i just became a father. He suggested me to take as the number holidays will accumulate year on year.

      I have not utilised even one holiday so far.

      Having paid 1.8 lakhs and have not utilised any holidays. There is an ASF amount of Rs 52456 even though i have not used even single holiday.

      Is there any help solution

        My name is Nikhilesh Ray

        I wanted to escalate against the false commitments and cheating done to me for refunding my money against cancellation.

        22nd November 2008: I paid 38851.00 Rs for becoming the member of Club Mahindra through my ICICI credit card. I got disapponted with the services and false commitments of the hotel reservations, so I have applied for the cancellation & refund of paid amount on December. The process was initiated on 7th January and I was told that in 30 working days the amount will be refund. Since, then I am just following up with the customer care and vashi branch for my refund.

        The member relation officers have send me many witten mails giving the dates of confirmation for cheques release. But, the when the dates reached they turned back and tells me that there is some problem from Club Mahindra Corporate and from there end cheques are not released so we cannot make it know and it will take two more months.

        Please check the trailing mail to get one such example of the commited date.

        Help me and help yourself to maintain the dignity of company.

        I have taken Club Mahindra membership with ID 2511758 on 26 June 2013


        But due to personal reasons, i have cancel my membership on 02 July 2013.

        When i contacted there email address [protected]@clubmahindra.com, where they told me they will refund my money on 24 Aug 13.

        Now its more than 2 months, yet no sign of amount transfer from there side

        Totaly frustrated with such service by them, now even there representative have stop responding to emails.

          My Membership ID is 1444932. I had applied for cancellation on 7th Match 2009. As per the written documents, refund should be received within 30 days.
          a) I didn't got any refund after 30 days and there is no communication from club mahindra.
          b) I contacted club mahindra in the first week of april. Club Mahindra representative assured me that I will get the refund on 15 the April. But it is not happned and there is no communication from club mahindra
          c) I contacted club mahindra agtain and I got the new date of April end.
          d) At the end of April no coomunication from Club mahindra so again I contacted club Mahindra. Club Mahindra representative gave me new date of 15 the May. But i didn't got any refund from club Mahindra. it was very frustrating for me.
          e) I contacted club Mahindra on 15th May and they given me new date 0f 20 Th June.
          Poornima Agarkar had given the date of 20th June in writing.
          f) Today 15th June, I received call from Club Mahindra representative Deepa and she told me that I will get the refund on 31st July. I told her that club mahindra had given me the date of 2oth June. But she shamlessly and arrogantly told me that now new date is 31st july. I informed Deepa that club mahindra had assured me date of 20th June and that is also in writing. But Deepa again talk with me arrogantly and told me that now new date is 31st July. I am not expecting such type of behaviour from Club mahindra represenrtative (being the hospatality industry ). I tried to contact Poornima Agarkar but she was not on the seat.
          I feel that Poornima Agarkar is harrasing me.

          There is no value for written documents.
          Heraafter I will not refer any friends/relatives to club mahindra and will inform this incident to all.

          I have an identical complaint of club mahindra not keeping up to their promises. My money was swindled on the 30th March 2009 and I am still waiting for a promise of them refunding it, which is long pending. Hope they act to the name of the company. Lot of discomfort for the person who unknowingly get into this situation. Customers, please be aware of such fraudulent people.
          It is not the company which wants to ill-treat the customer but the employees with un-professional attitude that is causing such harassments to valuable customers. It is upto the company to address this issue, lodged a complaint let us see how they react to it.
          yes you are right, club mahindra sales executives are all cheap, they will not give you anything they have promised, they just want money from our pocket. the mebership is not at all worth the money they charge. you will never get your bookings confirmed how much ever early you plan. a research by a company who have done investmernts in club mahindra says that club mahindra have only 30 % reservation for their members in any of the resorts you book. rest 70% is open to non memberes, now this is really cheap. we pay all the money in advence, we also pay annual maintainenece and we never get bookings, this has happened with me. i had requested them for booking at goa on 20th october2008, it was full according to the call centre executive, but when i call them again as a non member then they had 15 rooms availabe. now thats the game they play. they build the resorts with our money and they sell it to other people by charging them .
          I totally agree with this. Their people lack the basic etiquettes and I have got similar complaints from many of my friends,

              My membership number is 1468930. I took the membership on 18th April and cancelled on 22nd April by submitting a written application at Baner, Pune office.

              Since then I have sent numerous mails and spoke to multiple people over phone but till date I have not got the refund.

              As per the terms and conditions I was suppose to get the money in 30 days, i.e. by 22nd May but today is 18th June and still no update on when I will get the refund.

              I am very disappointed with the unprofessional attitude shown by Club Mahindra. I never expected this from such a big brand. I wonder how our India will progress.

              My membership number is 353281 and I am a member since May 2008. I could take advantage of the incentive offered to travel to Kuala Lampur in March 2008. Since then whenever i have sent a request it was never responded positively inspite of me being member of Red Category. I was totally disappointed when i sent the request in June 2009 for December 2009 for Tekkady in Kerala as a Honeymoon Gift to my Daughter. Recently in Feb 2010 i visited the office in person at Andheri for Holidays in April or May 2010 to Himachal Pradesh. I am not surprised that till today 19th march 2010 i have not received any communication from the lady representative, who was short fair and Handicapped. I may add that I was never a defaulter in any of the payments. In veiw of my disastrous experience with Club Mahindra, I would appreciate if you would be Kind enough to cancel my membership and give me the refund without much delays.

                Dear all,

                I am holding a Club Mahindra membership since 2004. Initially at time of joining they had given big promises like HASSLE free holidays of 7 days /year for 25 years.

                Each member has to pay membership cost + ASF Annual maintainence fees, which grows along with inflation.

                The membership cost of white studio is around Rs2.25 lacs. At time of joining and annnual subscription (ASF) is Rs. 4000/- Now its is around Rs.10, 000/-

                This is a complete cheating by Club Mahindra.

                Non availability of rooms: Earlier members were around 25000 and now in 2009 the members are 90, 000.
                So the member have increased by more than 300 %, however the rooms have just increased by 70 %.
                This leads to serious non-availability of holidays.

                LONAVALA RESORT:--- IN 2004, THEY HAD TOLD LONAVALA RESORT WILL BY READY BY 2006, BUT STILL AFTER 3 YEARS OF THEIR "DEADLINE" THEY HAVENT BUILD THE RESORT.

                Increase in ASF fees per year: ASF is calculated based on inflations including food inflation costs.

                However the Club Mahindra fees and ASF dont include any kind of lunch, dinner or breakfast, so on what basis they charge this indiscriminately?

                Also at time of joining I was told holidays get accumulated, however now I am told holidays can be accumulated at most for 3 years(i.e 21 days), so in case your holidays balance exceeds 21 days, holidays get cancelled.

                Cost factor: Cost of white studio :Rs. 2.25 lacs.
                ASF for 2009: around Rs.10, 000/
                So total cost of 7 days holiday:
                Rs.10, 000 + 36, 000/-(Rs 36, 000 for interest @ 8% p.a and proportion of membership fees)
                Total: Rs 46, 000 for 7 days holiday (Which doesn't include any other charges except accomodation.
                Food, entertainment, sightseeing all is extra)

                If you buy the same package through an agent its cheaper for same package in CLUB MAHINDRA RESORT( IN THEIR NON-MEMBER QUOTA !!!)

                Now CLUB MAHINDRA resorts also have non-member quota.Why is this indiscrimination done? If CLUB MAHINDRA is building resorts by members money why they are not allocating 100% rooms to members? Why they are selling some additional rooms to nonmembers on premium charges?

                So dont get fooled by CLUB MAHINDRA.
                I want someone to highlight this facts and initiate action against Club Mahindra.

                Completely agree with the complaint. The number of resorts is too less & the membership is increasing day by day. On enquiry, well before summer vacation, we were answered that all the bookings at various resorts are FULL except for resort at Kumbhalgarh in Rajasthan.

                I totally agree with this . The lapsing of holidays has come as a shock . You will never get rooms when you want it mainly due to low availability and incredibly big list of members . Lonavala has become a dream project, we have been hearing from years now. For Western part of th ecountry this could have been a relief as hardly any resort is there. They need to seriously look into the business model. The fact of grocery shop is another let down . I saw in munnar, the provision store is of hardly any use you have to resort to hotel dining where the discount is of no great attaction . There is no great sops for kids meal as well. Notwithstanding excellentr resorts . The operations ar enot to be appreciated if the trend continues like this.. Its better to live in five star every year with thhis kind of money.
                Room availability is a BIG issue at Club Mahindra. I had to book a room in January for a vacation in June. The interactive voice recorded toll free number is always busy... we are forced to write emails after emails.

                Demand hugely outnumbers the Supply.

                The kind of aggressive marketing that Club Mahindra does with inadequate Delivery capabilities, it raises serious concerns about their business ethics.

                The charging of ASF and the membership fee structure is also quite arbitrary. At some resorts they charge rentals for the utencils and vessels used. Then why pay ASF?

                Good pictures of beaches, cottages, scenic landscapes and offers of digi-cams, handy-cams, laptops, LCD flat TVS... Is that all about Club Mahindra?????

                I agree with all what is written here. In addition to all this and compromising on your preferred dates and destination, if you get booking then you can not cancel it without penalty. One has to loose certain days of holidays if he/she cancel his/her holiday. Emergency don't come to one planned in advance. So if someone has to cancel holiday at last moment because o[censored]nforseen reason or emergency then he/she will loose all days in that year. I think, this is really unfair to customer. This is double lose to customer - one is due to emergency and second is lost of holidays. Club Mahindra as a professional organization should do what is right and must consider this point.
                This is totally true. As it is there is discretion by way of colours - white, blue, etc... Even in the white season you never get any booking confirmation; forget in a higher season. And the higher season is usually the vacations - the only time when families can go on holidays. All this is not pointed out when selling the product. You are enticed into doing the purchase when you hear of the great glib talk of your sales persons - but the "Conditions apply" part is never highlighted till the poor customer tries to take a holiday reservation. And nobody bothers to revert when you ask for a refund or try to cancel your membership. Total lack of professionalism in the after sales service. Totally agree that the resort numbers are far less as compared to their enthusiasm in adding targets (poor people like us who get sold on these ideas). The ASF rate gets doubled almost every other year and is never told about first time around. Besides the food, etc are very costly and being far away from any nearby eateries there is no option to spend more money. In the same amount one could comfortably get a 7-star all inclusive treatment at many other hotels. We have only paid paid paid for the past almost 4 years and managed to squeeze in 1 holiday...Congrats to all who have managed more holidays & Best Wishes to who are still trying!!!
                I too 100% agree to the fact that the membership of Club Mahindra is absolutely waste of money. The biggest problem is the non availabiltiy of the rooms when you desire to take a holiday. Most of the time inspite of giving the booking advise three months in advance we do not get the resort of our desire. In such case what is the use of having the membership.

                Many of the associate hotels of Club Mahindra are no where close to the Club Mahindra standards, which they need to look at seriously.

                The most rediculous think happened in recent past. I hold a Red membership ans was denied room in the Blue season. The customer care person said that since you are a red season customer you cannot avail the facility in blue season. I then had to fight out the case with the club

                Dear all thanks for writing these reviews which has greatly facilitated me in deciding against taking the membership of Club Mahindra. I was invited to a presentation and told that I would receive a three days two nights offer clubbed with a voucher for Rs 1000/- and two tickets for couple for two new releases in INOX. All that they had to offer has been documented in the preceding paragraphs, but what takes the cake is this:

                I told them that I would first like to visit their resort before taking a call. I was then told that the complimentary stay was not in the members only suits. I then to my amazement found that the stay was valid in limited time period and booking had to be done much in advance. The stay was not valid on weekends. The voucher had validity of six months. All the permutation and combinations were inn their favour which is to say that I never got to use the free coupon.

                Further they ran out of the movie tickets and the gift vouchers were not available at that time which I was told would be couriered to me.

                So u see in the end I received nothing from them and they just had the last laugh.

                On the hind sight I am happy that I received nothing as that clears the standing of club Mahindra and I saved some money.
                things are true like the food is costly, stay is costly as we pay the anual fees, and also the interest on the amount paid.So the stay if calculated is about 13000/day and more as the amount paid is non refundable
                The club should subsidise the cost on food and other items as we are paying more the required, if there were good hotels near the club i am sure members will not eat inside.

Whenever i try to book a resort I am being told that there is no availability and worse my days are getting lapsed. By the way my season is RED which is supposed to be the best. This was the worse investment in my whole life. I felt cheated by the Mahindras. I will never buy anything associated with Mahindras. I will completely agree with Sachin and most of the comments made here. Never buy clubmahindra resort membership.

                I fully agree. I do not encourage people for membershipin club mahindra. It is a sort corporate big loot. I have been trying to book a holiday for the last one year but without success ( except of for Lonavala which I got by fluke.)

                Club Mahindra is taking people for ride, as per their stats they have 161, 000 members 44 resorts this includes their international resorts and 2480 rooms from all the 44 resorts as per their last year stats if I am right. So that means that nearly 65 members should fight out for one room to get a reservation which is on first come first serve basis, so if you are from south of India and you want to take a holiday in south region then the tally will automatically increase to more than 100+ to fight for 1 room within the same region.
                CM has made a profit of more than 100Cr in 2013 and what percentage is spent on increasing the number of rooms or adding additional resorts at the same location is not clear, more over I would like to know if the ASF charges are standard for all member my 2013 ASF due was 10228.00/- please members confirm if it is the same amount paid by you.
                They build/buy resorts from Membership money but if you want to take a holiday and if you are from White or Red season you need to book it at lease 3-4 months before if not you can say bye bye to your holiday, but call the resort and say you are a non member they will say they have a room but of course you need to pay a higher price, so they make a killing by selling members room to non members at higher price and will say the room is booked, there is no way to check how many members are actually enjoying their holidays, most o[censored]s think that we were late to book the holiday but is true that we were late ? Or was your holiday sold to a non member how do you check this.
                There is no transparency to verify all this it will be better if CM get their act together and start proper customer relation of not very soon they will be facing PIL or a court case to actually verify how many members took holiday and how many non members took holiday in the CM resorts.

                So people watch out before you plan to take a Club Mahindra Membership

                  Please note that i had taken membership on 26th sep'08 and after 3 days on 29th sep'08 i had asked to cancelled my membership and refund of my money which is 33.725 to pay me back they told me that this process will take minimum 15 days and by 1st week of dec'08 i'll get my refund and they provided me a membership ID 1387535 and cancellation ID 0011992 and with same ID reference had called many
                  times to their lucknow office and every times they provide me false information and so far Club Mahindra did not give me nay amount.
                  So please take all necessary action so i can get my money back

                  I had taken membership on 26th sep'08 and at time taking membership company had told that they have a policy that any time Club members can cancell the membership and they will return the membership
                  amount in within 15 days and i had cancelled the membership after 3days on 29th sep'08 and asked
                  for my membership refund of 33, 725 but so far they have not return my money back and i have call them
                  sevral times to lucknow office but every times they give false promise.
                  Please take all necessary action so i can get my money back.
                  I, Mr. R. B. Paranjape ( Membership ID 1428737), expressed interest in Club Mahindra holidays and Mr. Yogesh Kunder of Vashi Branch visited me on 03rd January. I opted for a 12 month zero interest plan by paying first installment of INR 29, 992.00 on 03rd January’09 and subsequent payments through credit card.
                  On 13th January’09, I called up the club Mahindra Chennai office and informed Mr. Vinay that I wish to cancel my membership with immediate effect. Same was followed by an e-mail on 15th January’09 with an instruction not to send credit card vouchers for collection of further payments.
                  Despite this your company collected two installments of INR 30, 000 and 28, 330 respectively. After my repeated emails & telephonic conversations, with Mr. Yogesh Kunder and Mr. Mohan Bagwe manager of Vashi Branch, your company agreed to refund my membership amount INR 88, 322/- in full but till date have not sent the refund cheque.
                  During taking the membership I have clearly asked the executive regarding the cancellation policy. Though she was not ready to explain in details. Still I insisted and she told me that my enrollment starts when I get the membership details. Without the membership details no one could be a member of the club mahindra. I was also convinced with her as there was a 10 days of period to cancel the membership and without any membership ID how could I be able to cancel the membership by calling the customer care. It was pretty convincing. The welcome call came after 10 days of my discussion with the Club Mahindra Executive. I received a mail with my membership number on 14th April and I request for the cancellation on 19 by calling the Club Mahindra customer care. The Customer care was happily took my request , but the Delhi office is not ready to refund my money. It is already 6 month they are not refunding my money. I had at least 20-30 times of discussion with Delhi team , customer care and cooperate office , but no result. They are not ready to refund the money. They are giving the reason it is after 10 days of my payment. This is surprise after having two types of condition from the sales executive and the current customer care. I have not received any of their service and as per my understanding with the sales team I have cancelled the membership within 10 days of receiving of the mail.

                  Ideally they should give refund even after 10 days of the membership if the customer has not avail any of their service, Otherwise it is against the corporates ethics. Also they should not keep the customer in dark while giving the membership. If they really serious about the condition, they should spell out and recheck with the costumer during the welcome call. Unless the welcome call and member details has not been sent to the customer , all the condition mentioned by the CM should not hold good. My membership id is 1829968 and one of the complaint number is[protected]

                  of Also if my enrollment started on 31st Mar , why there was need for any welcome confirmation, without this one would be a member automatically anyway and there was no rollback ? So I strongly feel that there is big confusion between clause 6.1 and the explanation by club mahindra sales executive.

                  Apart from this if my money has taken on 31st March why I was not given any membership immediately, without which I would not be able to visit any holiday home. That mean it is not in good practice of any company to take the money first and give the membership after 14 days.

                  Also if you still feel the enrollment starts on 31st then why it was not mentioned in the welcome call that the cancellation can not be done after this.
                  STAY AWAY from the company Club Mahindra... I am a (un-happy) member too, even after paying so much, I do not get my holidays, they ask us to plan 6 months in advance, all services in their resorts are to be paid extra, dining charges are too high, ASF (annual subscription fees) to be paid extra each year in addition to membership fees (the ASF charges increase every year), not all resorts have kitchenettes... long list of issues which the management doesn;t care for, all they want is to make new members.                   Indira - please stop posting the same old lines on all the complaints, whatever the resolution, please post it here so that everyone should know what CM is doing for the complaints.

                    I had become a member of the above mentioned club 6 months back and was promised airfare for 4 people with stay inresorts for 4 days along with a free lcd tv. I was amased to find that they are cheats, till a week back they were promising airtickets now when we are about to leave with all return tickets booked they are telling that you book your own tickets. Only god knows their definition of ethics

                      I was oferred a membership in club mahindra for a total package of Rs. 3, 37, 526 (vide membership ID # 1444457) our of which I made a down payment of Rs. 33753. Mr. Sharma & Mr. Tirath (both representing club mahindra) insisted on my taking the membership on money-back guarantee assurance claiming that as they have over-stayed in Ludhiana - their job will be at risk unless they can mature my sale by making payment through Credit Card for a future date. On the day my card was to be swiped, I called both these representatives to cancell my agreement, as promised by them and return back the swipe-slips.

                      They dilly-dolleyed on the issue and in the meantime got the credit card slips swiped.I objected to this and they assured that I will get a full refund for the amount shortly.

                      I even emailed my complaint to the company, from where I recieved a response from Mr. Ajay Nambiar (Head - Member Relations) who claimed that their sales team will be in touch with me to look into my complaint.

                      After many emails, I explained the facts to the person who made a routine check to look into my complaint.

                      After that there is total silence.

                      I wish to recieve back full refund of Rs. 33, 753 plus Rs. 10, 544 paid by me towards interest to HSBC Bank and Citi Bank.

                        To Whom so ever it may concern:

                        Membership id : 1452919
                        Enrolled : 16th mar, 2009
                        Cancelled : 23rd march, 2009
                        Paid at the time of enrollment : 10% DP (approx. Rs. 16000)
                        As per Club Mahindra rules: 100% Refund within 30-45 days if cancelled within 10 days of enrollment.
                        No of calls made to Club mahindra : Lost the count.
                        No. of calls received from Club Mahindra : 0 (ZERO)
                        No. of days taken to respond by Delhi branch for status (that too on my call): 72 days
                        Status of refund as told to me by Delhi Branch after 72 days : Refund Expected by Mid july (not 30-45 days but 4 months (approx.))
                        Reason : Cancellations can be done on 10th of every month.
                        When asked why this was not done on April 10th, reason given by Ms. Neeru (Delhi Branch) - Can make limited no. of cancellations per month.
                        Is it a Customer's Problem : Yes, becoz he/she was dumb enough to go by the brand name.

                        I wish somebody of authority reads this and help me out.

                        Just to inform you, I haven't been paid for a cancellation made on Jun08. I am from Delhi too and tired of calling Delhi branch for this refund. Keep the hopes alive, you have engaged yourself with a long term relation with CMH!

                          My membership no is 1062858, i take the membership on Aug 08 at that time we pay the 29500 rupees (Rs 14500 with icici credit card & balance with HDFC).
                          As per the the rule our EMI of Rs 4858 debit from our icici credit card.But when we saw the statement in the month of Jan 09 i found that EMI is cutting from our icici credit card(Rs 4858 & HDFC account as ECS Rs 4858) that means i pay monthly instalment of Rs 9716 insteod of Rs 4858.For the same we raise the issue with Club mahindra on 12 Jan & after this no of times, but till date we are not getting the response.

                          Pls help me out, so that i get my HDFC account payment & my total payment from starting because i cannot to continue my membership with club mahindra.(full & final)

                          Summary : Forgery by club mahindra because doubleEMI Debit from my account.
                          Response time poor.( 5 month case raise no solution)

                                Hi there,

                                They gave me all fake information before I pay.
                                After payment, they did not respond me after regular follow up.
                                They took above 2 months to give me membership number.
                                In those documents all promised information were not there.

                                I have been just offered a special offer from an authorised business associates of club mahindra. i am in dilemma whether i shoud go for it. i like to travel every year but dont want any headache after paying money. i have few re;liable travel agents with whom i am highly satisfied. but club mahindra is probably a luxurious class together and i am interested with few doubts. i asked what happens in case of over booking? i may not get our desired destination's availability in time. well i am still in doubts even it increased after going thruough complaints in net. joy([protected])

                                    My name is Manoj Menon and I have been duped by club mahindra.We had enrolled for Club Mahindra Membership at Mulund RMall branch the person who had attended us was Mr. Sandeep. The membership is in the name of my wife Mrs. Fatima Menon. Member ID: 1460865. He convinced me that if in future if I want to cancell the membership deal then Club Mahindra would return my Rs. 25, 000/- which i had paid as registering fee. I beleived him and i registered with club Mahindra. It was 4th of April and the next day I went to cancell the membership. They took my cancellation and told me that they would courier the cheque by 4th of May as the process takes a month. After exactly one month we called Sundeep and he said that we will have to talk to the call center of Club Mahindra. He said he can do nothing. Inspite of calling them several times their only answer I get is they are looking into the matter.
                                    When asked about the cheque they said it is not yet made. What a pathetic company. This is the most inefficient company I have come across. They are just looting our hard earned money. They should be punished sevierly and their licence must be cancelled.
                                    I request all of you to not to enroll for any Club Mahindra Membership.

                                      We had a great time at Club Mahindra resort. We stayed for 4 nights, 3 days. The food was excellent, the property is simply beautiful and there is so much for everyone to do that 3 days is not enough.

                                        I am totally satisfied with my Club Mahindra membership. I have holidayed in the Coorg resort and everything was perfect, the resort, staff, food and the activity centre.
