I am professional in a mnc and today i had received a call from one mr. parag of club mahindra, who mentioned that i need to come to r mall for a presentation of their package. he also mentioned that, by attending 45 min presnetion i would be eligible for 2 night stay at a 5 star resort of club mahindra free of cost and also 2 movie tickets. as discussed in the call, i did ask him if there were any riders or any hidden agenda to it, to which he mentioned that there wasn't anything.
As i work at vt, i had to leave office early (around 6.30 p. m.) to meet the commitment of attending the presentation at 8.00 p. m at r mall (lbs road, mulund). after beating the heavy traffic, i managed to reach r mall at 8.15. after walking into the shop on 2nd floor of r mall, i was asked to wait for 10 mins after which i was told that, i needed to come with my wife... to my utter surprise, this was never told to me during the call and i being a professional, had to cancel all appointments to come to this venue for having a peak at the club mahindra holiday offers. also, the guy had offered me the membership no. as well, while i was driving my car, to which i said, he can give it to me at the venue itself, once am there.
To my utter surprise, when i vented out my anger to the staff, there was another gentleman as well, who was not informed that he had to come with his wife and he too vented his anger on to the staff. this compliant is not about the false promises made, but to sense club mahindra that each and every persons time is as valuable as theirs. atleast for me, am least interested in the 2n 3d holiday package and the movie ticket, i would have anyways donated it... but by this gesture, club mahindra has lost a valued customer i. e. me... and yes my contact/friends will also follow suit, as my next email is this complaint with an email to all my professional friends, who want to or are in the process of taking a club mahindra membership. from now on, yes, i would not entertain any club mahindra calls and also would not buy any mahindra products, as i don't want to be a part of this group at all... yes, this one instance has left a bad mark on me, and i request all the general public (who ever is reading this complaint) to pls. be careful, while making any commitments... don't get buoyed down by the goodies they given... they make money in some way or the other, which are know as hidden costs... so pls. pls. be careful... and avoid club mahindra for good... the complaint box itself shows how bad light they are in...

Dear Sir,With reference to above given subject, I Rohit Ghag, Membership No 458070. is been contacted for the payment of Annual Subscription Fees of the Club Mahindra, and if not paid membership will be cancelled is been told by tele-calling person of Club Mahindra.
I will bring to your notice that,
1. When I had a meeting with Mr. Nishant Singh at the time of taking membership, nothing is been told to me about the Annual Subscription Fees. He just told me to pay only Rs. 1,65,000/-one time charges to be paid, and I can enjoy the Services offered by Club Mahindra Resorts. After a constant follow-up with Club Mahindra through Email, I received only one mail from Mr. Nishant Singh after almost 2-3 weeks with no proper clear picture. I have attached my Email for your records.
2. I had asked for the Number of Installment details paid by me, but even that mail is
also not received. No one is giving me the amount collected from me till date.
through direct debit to my Credit Card.
3. After a long follow-up, I received my Membership Kit, with Membership card on 24th Sep 2008, & the same was dispatch by your end on 19th Sep 2008. I confirmed the dispatched details from your office. Membership Kit I received was almost after one year.
4. I am writing emails to Mr. Nishant Singh & Mr. Nitin Padiyar , But till date both had not even replied to my mail.
Looking at the above points, I don’t think I will be able to continue the membership, I will be thankful to you to return the total amount Collected through Direct debit to my Credit Cards, towards my membership till date.
I will be happy that this is listed company and Sebi should put them heavy charges.
