[Resolved] DigitalTV — False promise and no response
Having bought a Samsung TV lalong with which we as consumers were offered a package from said company of digitel tv coneection <Mega Pack as being in North the package was taken of the said region, the same was installed in Dec 2008 and at the time of instalation the person was asked if channel star (all channels) and HBO would be included in this pack, THIS WAS CONFIRMED AND WE WERE RECEIVING THE SAME TILL 27feb 2009 WHEN WITH OUT ANY INTIMATION THIS CHANNEL WAS WITH DRAWN, on follow with the customer services confirmation of reinstalling the same was given with aturn around time of 5.30pm on the 3rd of March .
On 3rd of March at 10pm when customer care was called MR> SHAH first stateted that this cannot be done as the pack does not include this channel and when asked to be put through to a supervisior it was informed NO SUPERVISIOR is there on duty, Great way of putting customers off and makeing them feel like fools of having fallen into this trap.
ON 28th Mr. Harish of customer was spoken to for 1/2 hr on this issue and then thier supervisior Ms. anita(Name as given) was spoken to and assurance of relinking the channel was done, on 1st and checking with cutomer care it was informed that the same would be active by 5.30 pm on 2nd of March as the back office was given the details and were working on it.
On 2nd at 10pm customer care was called and Mr. Shah stated all the promises were false and when asked to put on to the supervisor on duty PAT WAS THE REPLY SORRY NO ONE IS THERE.
Is this the service of a company like AIRTEL who just for getting connection promise something which they cannot deliver.
Can you even think of the supervisor making false commitmitments. why should one stay with AIRTEL if their attitude of could not care less MR. CUSTOMER you are a slave to our thoughts.
