[Resolved] Electronic waterfall show piece — mishandling of parcel by trackon courier pvt ltd.
I booked my consignment by air from trackon courier in Chandigarh on 12feb2009 they said it be there in Hyderabad office in evening of 13feb2009, i[censored] want 2 collect it urgently u can collect it from that office or they will deliver it within 48hrs from the time of booking that is 14feb2009, i paid them Rs425 there at the time of booking. till evening parcel was not there in Hyderabad but was lying in delhi, for immediate delivery they sent that parcel in cargo by some airlines and asking for Rs1000 extra. and on 14feb2009 around 12.30am my friends received that parcel from airport not even from trackon office in Hyderabad, when they opened that parcel it was broken. i want 2 ask this company that when it was written on parcel "handle with care", then why it was not delivered in one piece. This was my first & worst experience with this trackon courier pvt ltd. The way their concerned person in Hyderabad talks so attitude like he's Prime minister or something, they dont even listen to the matter, PATHETIC.
just tell me if something can be done in this case, now they are asking for Rs1000 from receiver in hyderabad for that broken piece.
Kindly look into this matter. do i need to forward this case to consumer court, or courier company will accept there fault and pay the damages.
if i'll go to consumer court i'll ask them to give me total cost of my parcel with courier charges and will also ask them for giving me compensation for mental tension. my parcel cost me Rs850+ courier cost me Rs 425 and in hyderabad they are asking for Rs1000 more
