[Resolved]  Everest World Builder — Very Very poor services rendered by Builder

Dear ConsumerComplaints Team,



Its been over 3 months when I am running pillar to post to get my things done thru the builders. I have paid Rs.40 lacs thru my nose to purchase the flat at Everest world-Thyme -Flat No.1801.



I have called them up for more than 200 times (Trust more than 200 times) but they seem to ignore my requests.



I have escalated to their higher ups but still they have not responded-- To name a few-

Would request you to intervene and resolve all the pending work which should have been done by them at least 3 months



Leakage from Tap in one bathroom.
Wrong tap installed in master bedroom bathroom.
Balcony/ terrace attached to master bedroom has a banyan tree which has cracked the tiles-- also the cement plastered above the tiles is broken.
Two tiles in the hall to be replaced which was agreed by More, Vinod Kumar during their inspection.
Change of name -- electricity bill MSEB. which has been informed to more upteen no. of times.


Looking forward to your communication to the builder for immediate resolution.

Dear Prashant/Aniruddha,

Post my meeting with you at your office & subseqently speaking to your General Manager (Finishing) Mr. Vinod Kumar ; The following has been agreed-

Handover Flat / possession within two days from today ie; 21st August'09.
All pending work as mentioned in the below mail will be completed in the next two days.
The leakage observed in the master bedroom & above the ceiling on the passage will be done at a later stage. This work / repairs for leakage will be done from outside the building; hence will not have any intervention on our dailyroutine work post my possession.
Also would require some sort of timelines by your maintenance team as to when the seepage / leakage problem will be resolved.

A reply is requested.

Dear Aniruddha,

Inspite of so many mails sent to you ; I have not received in any revert.

However during my visit to your office today I had again re-iterated on my having the possesion on 21st August'09.

I had visited the Flat today -- Thyme 1801 for the progress & repairs which are to be conducted by you before the possession of the Flat . It seems nothing has been done except the change of floor tiles & carpentry work on bedroom door .

I am again listing down the work which needs to be conducted --


Master Bedroom Lock not working.
Attached Bathroom for Master Bedroom Lock not working.
Seepage from Master bedroom & on the celing of the passage connecting the bedroom.
Main entrance door Handle not there.
Balcony/ terrace attached to master bedroom has a banyan tree which has cracked the tiles-- also the cement plastered above the tiles is broken.
Attached Bathroom for master bedroom -- one handle of the Basin tap & the commode tap is missing.
Leakage from Tap in both the bathroom.
The common bathroom has the lock broken & needs replacement.
The common Bathroom has one of its window glass missing.
The hot water connections with the overhead solar panel is missing in both the bathroom.
There are lot of gaps between each door frame & the wall which needs to be filled up.
The entire house needs to be cleaned with lot of dirt marks on the wall & spider webs on the ceiling.

I would want you to have these completed within the agreed dates.

A line of confirmation is required as have lined up one of the Packers & Movers to shift my household goods from from current residence to Everest World , Thyme, 1801 , Kolsher rd. Thane(W) which will incur me a cost of Rs.8000/-.

Dear Aniruddha,

I await a reply on the mail sent to you on 6th august'09.

I would again like to re-iterate that post my discussion with you & your engineer Mr.Kadam on possession of my flat (Thyme -- 1801). The following was mutually agreed upon.

All the below mentioned (refer mail trail) deficiencies in the flat was noted by your engineer Mr.Kadam which was personally shown during my visit on 07th August'09.
You & your Engineer had assured that it would take maximum 15 days for all such repair activity listed below -- The handover of flat would be done on or before 21st august '09.
I would be making all arrangements in terms of shifting/transferring of my household goods to the said premises which would mean a third party involved in shifting of the goods.
I have already cleared all my payments which is requisite for obtaining the possesion of the flat.

A line of confirmation on the above will be highly appreciated.

Dear Prashant,

Refer to my discussion with you regarding possession of my flat -- Thyme Flat No.1801

The following discrepancies were shown to your engineer Mr.Kadam,


Main Door Handle missing.
Leakage from Tap in both the bathroom.
Seepage from master bed room & on the celing of the passage connecting the bedroom.
Door Lock defective in both the bathroom.
Door Alignment & lock defect shown in both the Bedroom
One floor tile damage in the hall.
Kitchen tap is loosely fitted / damage
Terrace tiles / floor damage.
Paint marks on the master bedroom door frame & also on the back side of the second bedroom's door.

I would request you to get these ready on or before 12th of August '09 & hand over the possession letter for my shifting purpose.

I totally agree with Mrinal on this front. The Everest Group is undoubtedly the worst & the most slowest builder in Thane. They have taken eternity to give possesions to buyers & even after taking working at snail's pace the quality of their workmanship is PATHETIC.

I doubt they will finish work or provide quality flats to buyers in this lifetime !!!
Guys - are you still facing the same issue. I have an apartment in MayFlower and I still have some of these issues that you have written about.
