[Resolved] Gajanan Gas Agency (Indane Gas) — New connection
the agency is not good in terms of getting new connection. They will ask you to get the stamp paper prepared before coming for new connection and when u prepare stamp paper and visit, that time they will say first we need to do inspection of your hot plate, but funny thing is for this they don't need stamp paper, they just need an entry in a small notebook so if it takes 5 days to get stamp paper and 3-4 days to get inspection done, why can't they do it parallely...why do they make consumer to leave office and visit their agency multiple times.
First time, to fill the form i.e. address slip
Second time, next time you will have to take a postal address confirmation letter to their office, they will than ask you to get a stamp paper, so this visit to agency is wasted as you will need sometime to get stamp paper, can't they mention this during the first visit.
Third time, you will carry the stamp paper and they will just stapple it with letter you received from post and will give it back to you and will enter your house address in a small notebook and will aks you to wait for inspection. Can't they take the address from the address slip filled and do the inspection. Did they called me to agency by leaving my office only to stapple the few documents and give it back to me to take it back.
Fourth time, they want you to visit the agency again for signing the actual account doucments printed from IOC site. They don't want my digital signature so why can't they print the document and keep and consumer can come after office hours when they are working till 730pm and let consumer sign the documents.
Overall - very poor consumer service guys...hope these govt companies and agencies who survive on tax payers like us learn to be more flexible while working and serving the nation.
